So I went to a screening of "A Different Man" on 9/21/2024 in NYC that included a Q&A afterwards with Sebastian Stan, his costar, Adam Pearson, and the director, Aaron Schimberg. I have a bunch more pics to post and some praises to sling Seb's way, but I've been busy. I'll do a proper post soon, I promise. But anyway, as I was editing some pics, I zoomed in on this one...and.......did Seb.....look at me? Did he look at me...AND SMILED?!?!
I didn't notice during the event omg, his cap casted his eyes in such a dark shadow I couldn't tell where he was looking. I think I must have been blushing and grinning at him like a creep, and he probably just smiled back. I blush very easily to begin with, so the moment Seb walked out, my face just went FWOOSH. I think he might have LOOKED AT ME.

All We Imagine As Light | Screening at the 68th BFI London Film Festival
In "All We Imagine As Light" The lives of three women intersect and overlap in a haunting drama in which the city of Mumbai plays a central role.
Prabha, Anu, and Parvaty are employees at a hospital in Mumbai. They grapple daily with the opportunities and hardships of existence in the city. Balancing an immersive verité style with a touch of the surreal, Payal Kapadia’s Cannes Grand Prix-winning drama captures Mumbai's many shades of working-class life. The result is a profound and deeply humanist meditation on urban migration and dislocation.

Here are some pics I took of Sebastian's Q&A for "A Different Man" screening in NYC on 9/21/2024. The interviewer was only allowing one question from the audience but Sebastian advocated for one more question. This was the face Sebastian gave that very lucky audience member as she was asking her question. If he gave me his complete attention and looked at me like that, I would have just passed out. I have no idea how that fan was able to keep talking lol. I would have made a complete fool of myself.
Her question was if they had a favorite scene that was filmed that ended up getting cut and not making it into the movie.
Aaron Schimberg, the director, said that a dream sequence that featured Seb in a medical nightmare ended up being cut. And he said that the diner scene between Seb and Renate went on longer but had to be cut.
Adam Pearson said that there was a scene of his character doing Jiu Jitsu where he kicked someone ass and he was sad to see that scene get cut.
Sebastian said the scene where Renate was feeding him food, but that scene didn't get cut and it was still in the film. He was like "Oh, that's in there?" The audience giggled and he cutely shrugged it off lol.

A Night of Bruceploitation at the National Museum of Asian Art
On Saturday, July 13, my mom and I attended the Asia After Dark | Bruceploitation” festival at the National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, DC. This event was a delightful dive into the world of Bruceploitation, a genre known for its campy and surreal take on martial arts films. The evening’s highlight was the screening of The Dragon Lives Again, a film that proved both bizarre and highly…
