#cats #ghhbbb this is the first time I've genuinely considered tumblr blazing a post lol but no.. i shant.. I feel too weird putting financial #information into tumblr or whatever unless I made like a seperate bank account or something not associated with anyhting else lol #but I gave it serious contemplation which is really sayng something (the evil magical spell that all cats cast over u by their perfection)#ANYWAY.................... old man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#it's technically like march 8th but I did his party a little early. I have other pictures to post later maybe too..hrmm #The '1' candle is actually a '4' candle with the side part cut off because they didn't have any 1s #I went all out (like under $15 still lol) and got new birthday decorations for him instead of using the same old #ones from the past like 5 birthdays that I've done for the cats lol..#His theme was rainbows mostly in as light of colors as I could find #The legal age to drive a car in the US is 16 so.... honk honk beep beep.. I shall go out and buy him the most expensive car on the market #as soon as March 8th comes. then he can run little errands (probably mostly getting kibbles or chicken somewhere)#stealing the rotisserie chickens from walmart or something lol #AND they would let him have them. He would drive up and walk inside and they'd call the manager to come over #and they would be so moved by his presence and his big goofy stare that they would just be like..... okey.. have all the chicken in the #entire store. Actually. have the store. it's yours now. And This would continue all the way up the chain until he was handed #the entire walmart company. And every other company. a boy who owns everything. probably wouldnt use it for evil. he'd just abolish #everything and then focus on eating chickens.. ........ chibken son...

listing stuff for resale online and i'm just... so tired of taking pictures. cropping pictures. taking measurements. weighing out postage. finding boxes. writing descriptions. i'm so tired.

#i've been putting stuff up on mercari for like idk a year and a half ish now #started with mainly just stuff from the two book box subscriptions that i have if they aren't something i really want to read/keep #and then i started thinning out my bookshelves a little and listing those (standard edition) books #and now lately i've been putting up clothes that i've been decluttering from my closet #and those i've started cross-posting on poshmark too #and like i don't really have anything fancy other than some of the special editions from my book boxes #so i'm getting like two or three dollars for most of my sales #and it does add up. not to a lot. but. you know. better than nothing.#it's just... so tedious... for the two dollars...#buttttt also i've had several unexpected Big Expenses pop up #(tree damage from the tornado. hit and run car repairs. new insurance year so i haven't hit my out of pocket max for med expenses. etc.)#and it would be very nice to have a bit of extra cash coming in #like i'm okay overall #this isn't a dire situation by any means #i would just like to soften the blow a little ya know?#(and also complain on the internet while i'm doing that)

i wish my hearing wasn't so damn sensitive. i have white noise playing loud af when i go to bed so I won't hear anything else. the power went out twice last night which of course shut off the white noise. first i woke up to the sound of my cat chewing, the 2nd time I woke up to someone walking on the other side of the house. why does autism/misophonia have to do that omg

on the bright side having sensitive hearing isn't all that bad bc when i listen to music i can pick out every single instrument's part and learn how to play every part on every instrument i own so that's an autism win for sure. we have a badass electric piano from 1989 that lets you record multiple tracks at once. so when I was in band, I'd learn every instrument's part, record each of them, play them all at once, then practice my part on my instrument (viola, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone) along with it. like i said. autism for the win. sometimes

#i was doing that from 10-15 years old #quit band at 15 because 1. our band teacher tried to kill us (had to have an ambulance come for several students during a heat wave)#and 2. they wanted $350 for band fees and my parents couldn't afford it #my grandma bought that piano for $3000 in 1989 dollars which is $7628.25 in today's money #i don't even know how SHE afforded that. it was right after my grandpa died so maybe life insurance or something like that?#it's the most expensive item we've ever owned for sure other than cars #.bdo

i've been to 30+ concerts so far as from march 2 years ago... i would go to more if most bands i liked ever came to ireland plus it'd save me money used for travelling 🤪

#only good thing about the metal scene is that you can get tickets pretty cheap even for bands that have been well-known for years #im going to england twice this year for a concert but there's so much choice in england when it comes to concerts 🫣#plus im working 3/4 days a week in which it's usually busy any time of the day so im trying to think of ones that i could go that doesn't #affect my work schedule #rn it's last minute as i was told this evening to go into work tomorrow even though idk what days im working this week #i budget my expenses at 25 wahh im just a girl 😭#i hope to earn enough this year for a 2nd hand car even though it's so hard to get around most planes in dublin with a car LOL #and maybe some rent money even though im not renting atm

Wish me luck today I’ve got a photography gig for the longest time and of course it’s an outdoor location and of course it’s -15 degrees Celsius outside and on top of that I need to drive over 100km and the roads are icy as fuck and I still have the shitty winter tyres I’ve been bitching about for weeks lmao

anyway she's on her way back now and it's sunny again. I did get to have the easier but more important of the two conversations beforehand tho, so I have a better idea of what the plan is with the money for the time being.

#she said she'll put $500 in the joint account each month #but I pointed out that if my personal allowance is still $300 that only leaves $200 for meds and groceries and helping out around the house #so she immediately raised to $700 #(even after I offered to instead re-lower my allowance)#and matt says I only cost an extra like $60 a week for food and meds #(not counting my most expensive med which I usually pay for directly from joint anyway)#(which is $60-$90/mo by itself)#plus $30 a month for utilities which they both think is highballing it #and he's like 'oh I might've moved into a 2br by myself anyway cuz it is really nice to have the space'#'so it's not like half the rent difference is due straight to you'#and she also says it'll probably go up once she's not saving up for a down payment on a car #I'm not sure if I'm still supposed to be keeping a running total of hypothetical rent payments we haven't made.#(not at his request but at her agreement - we do want to pay him back someday when everything is more settled)#(because he has been very generous with us)
