The good news: the piece of bone sticking out of my gums is less sharp and not scratching my tongue as much

The bad news: this is because that piece of my jawbone broke off while I was brushing my teeth

#i saved it in a ziploc to take to the dentist with me lmao #and i managed to get some fairly clear photos of it both last night and just now so i can show them even if it heals up a bit #it’s still not really hurting (fingers crossed)#tbh once i see the dentist and have some confirmation i’m thinking of emailing the pics to the other dentist from this summer #and just being like ‘hey i know he asked for updates and i never caled but now i have some answers’#‘just wanted to let you know in case a future patient ever comes in with a similar situation’#which is TRUE #but it would also partially be a Fuck You #anywayyyyy #cw dental
