One of the biggest things that makes me see Leo as trans is absolutely the size of his carapace in comparison to his brothers’.

And I’m not talking about height! I’m specifically looking at his shell here, because when you compare him to the others, particularly Donnie who is nearly the same height as Leo, it’s very clear that Leo’s carapace is much longer in proportion to the rest of his body.

Like - standing side by side, even though Donnie is shorter his carapace ends noticeably higher up than Leo’s does. And I like this not only because it really helps push the idea that Leo could very likely be trans (or intersex!), but it’s also just a fun design difference between them.

(It also lends way to future scenarios of Donnie eventually getting taller than Leo, but sitting down still has Leo being the taller one haha.)

What am I thinking about? Oh nothing much. Just about arc 3 of Wings of Fire, and how Cricket had to hide something different about herself from her piers her whole childhood in fear of being outcast or having terrible things be done to her. How this caused her to think differently than the other HiveWings, and is potentially the sole reason she realized anything was wrong with their society to begin with.

I'm also thinking about how Blue tried his very best to integrate and conform into society since he was a kid, only for something deeply intrinsic to him and out of his control to start to make itself known. Being the catalyst for his life being entirely uprooted when he would've initially preferred for things to stay the same. But again, it was the push he needed to realize that things were wrong.

Just thinking about how Blue and Cricket first met each other while hiding from hoards of mind controlled HiveWings due to these circumstances. How they found solace and acceptance in each other during this time. Both of them being outcasts for reasons they had no control in. Both of them being fugitives simply for being different. Two teenagers now facing their society in opposition together. Because now they realize complacency won't fix anything, but that things need to change.

..... Anyway, "Blicket is boring and rushed," MY ASS. Did we even READ the same damn books????

a very harsh gentle reminder that the majority of the pjo fandom hates on Jason for literally existing and accusing him of treating Percy/Leo badly because he was joking around with them, but defending Luke like crazy after he asked annabeth, a minor whom he saw as a sister if she loved him, manipulated and potentially groomed a minor girl into giving him information, made annabeth hold up the sky for 24 hours, made her cry multiple times and tried to kill Percy throughout the books because "poor baby like has such a bad past can u blame him uwu 🥺" well yeah so does jason so what's your point. We all know y'all don't hate him bc he's "boring" you hate him because he rivals Percy and it shows, because your arguments of who's a good person and who's not does NOT line up.

I don't care if Only Boo! is making Shone competition or not

Because simply the idea of it makes me happy that Kang is a bit older than Moo (not a lot), and here is an older character who has Moo's same energy (because they are related).

This show seems too sincere to go in this direction, but I want GMMTV to know that I am not opposed to it especially since Shone never saw a picture of Kang and was giving Moo advice on how to get the guy. So . . . could I have it?

Also me: Jane is a blue boy. Deciding he needs to achieve specific goals before he can have the man he wants, so the blue boy can be the man he wants to be for his chosen person specifically is the kind of dumbass noble blue boy shit that makes me want to strangle them. The whole I didn’t dare contact you because I would have left early speaks to the whole torn between two loyalties and objectives that also speaks to blue boys and their little rules for life. Was trying to make something vaguely DBDA-esque, except it started looking more like a bi skull, so I tried adding the magnifying glass, except I forgot to draw it in a different layer and now I think it looks weird so I have basically created my own personal hell.

#thank goodness for ctrl z and selection tools and whatnot but still I made things like.
