these days only a few fantasy books stand truly unique, most just seem to be following very strict writing styles and filling in the same plot points, maybe its because fantasy has been dominated by usamerican and european writers who tend to see the world in a very lineal way and who crave immediacy, these authors are honestly scared to "break the rules" (there are no rules in art imo) in terms of time-space and such because most of their readers will get mad if they dont understand everything the series stands for in 60 pages or less

Got once again told that I was "good at making conversation" and had "people and communication skills"

and that is the biggest lie I ever heard

so a girl will end up writing some sort of "practical guide to making conversation, by a recovering agoraphobic".

But also. If you need a "how to people when no social skills" guide right now, my absolute no bullshit guide is The Shyness and Social Anxiety Workbook (2018, 3rd ed), esp chap 8 and 10. Includes: how long is appropriate to look at someone in the eyes? What are good conversation topics for your neighbors, your colleagues, your boss, your date? How to safely practice social skills/conversation? How to handle shaking/blushing/sweating/nervous stuttering? How is talking to a group different from talking to one person? How to gracefully end a conversation? How to ask for a change at your work schedule? How to start getting better at it *progressively* without being overwhelmed?

It's not a feel good self help/self improvement book, it is not a magic remedy with secret formula, it is more of a "let's learn a new language", with homework and notes to take. Give it a try, it is very easy to find it online

Ive always loved the concept, but the idea of Mabel being a mermaid confused me, so I made an even more confusing au!!

A comet crashed into a lone pine tree on a hill in gravity falls. It was a relatively small area, and some how not a lot of damage done. From the fires, a girl coughed, swatting the fire away and gagging on the smoke. From the fallen pine tree, a boy pushed his way out of the timber. A few embers had landed on his forehead. The girl laughed, saying it looked like the big dipper. Her hair shifted and the constellation appeared. They didnt even question each other, they just knew they were family.

Then stuff happens!!

Like I know it’s cool to be critical of men in books from the 19th century or whatever but it just leads to ripping out all of the nuance in favor of “Uh all of the Brontë men were evil and abusive and that’s all there is to those characters.” Say something interesting. A Batfam AU where instead of going to get Dick to be Robin again Tim uses necromancy to bring Jason back from the dead. He just leaves Jason on the Wayne doorstep with a 'do better this time' sticky note. Batman can't find out who did it and Tim stays his little latchkey self with semi ok but distant parents (cus canonical they weren't really abusive just not there which isn't good but they could be worse). His parents bring him along on trips but again they love him but they just leave him to do as he pleases. so in Paris he ends up still getting trained by Lady Shiva. This keeps going and Tim just keeps reviving batfam members, if they fake their deaths and Tim tracks them down to check on them. They still have no idea who their shadow is, they can't find him, Tim likes it this way. Bruce goes MIA and Red Robin happens just minus Tim actually being Red Robin. The JLA doorstep gets a passed-out Batman with a 'I can't believe I have to keep doing this shit' sticky note on his head.

When my emotions are out of control (moon) I should work on a creative project (5H) alone (aries).

I usually paint, draw or watch a fav childhood cartoon (5H themes)

2°-shows Venusian things that comfort me should be incorporated. Such as soothing scents, music, etc.

I usually drown myself in things that comfort me. I light my fav candle, put on my comfort jacket and play music.

Sextile to my 3H Chiron

Writing or speaking (3H) about what's wrong (chiron) also helps.

I write poetry or on a rare occasion talk to someone about how I feel

avoiding self-destructive (pluto) thoughts about myself worth (2H)
