A lotta the folks of transid dot org, other wikis and even on Pinterest are actively disrespectful towards coiners and their boundaries an I've about had enough of it.

As y'all know, I'm schizophrenic. I got a psychotic disorder that causes me uncontrollable paranoia. I'm medicated, but I ain't cured. An havin my flags in places I ain't aware of, r I ain't consenting t, can actively trigger ma paranoid an persecutory delusions. Specially when I have a big ol banner sayin "don't upload my terms t wikis" on every post I make. I get persecutory. I start thinkin it's on purpose t hurt me, an hell, maybe it is. I've gotten good at dealin with it, but historically it's caused days long episodes where everythin gets significantly worse. Y'all r damn lucky I'm better. It sounds stupid an arbitrary, but frankly schizophrenia is just stupid an arbitrary. Don't lessen the validity of my triggers, though.

I don't got a right over any terms people relate t I make, that's not how identity works, but I DO have a right t my own art and what I'd like done with it.

All that t say, a lot of the folks of are disrespectful towards me, my illness, my boundaries and I ain't the only one. This has happened to likely dozens or hundreds of other coiners in similar situations t me. Lots prolly don even know. A habits of changin definitions and names ain't helpin anythin.

My personal experience is with transid dot org since that's my specialty, but it's a more universal problem than that. Wikis in general have a nasty history of placin themselves above the rights of coiners t their own flags, an individuals on other platforms just seem t not care.

Literally beggin y'all t please just respect folks simple boundaries. It ain't hard. A domain, money or followin ain't as important as ethics.

TL;DR: stop postin flags elsewhere without askin or at least checkin boundaries. It's not only rude, but actively triggerin r upsettin for many coiners.

antecessors or precursors of progress flag: an exploration

everyone knows that progress pride flag uses black and brown colors from Philadelphia's pride flag plus rainbow flag colors and iteration of trans flag colors. but were there other similar flags? let's explore and see.

where does the chevron come from? the first rainbow flags with chevrons were "Pink Triangle on the hoist of a Rainbow flag" (1996) and "Rainbow Flags with white triangle" (2006 or before; need to comment that white color in this flag represents, in Japan, "those who died from hate crimes and coexistence with friendships that still resist or face suffering"). Demigay flag (2010s) uses black chevron. Maybe these were all unrelated and H. Clinton logo may influenced the direction of the chevron as well.

Victory Over AIDS flag (1980s) is a rainbow flag with black stripe, using black color to represent "living with HIV/AIDS, and those lost to it". This meaning is also used in Progress flag, along signifying BPoC people/Blackness. there are also flags that use black stripe in the middle to represent Black people, likely based on Raquel Willis' design (2015).

white stripe is also seen in Love Fest (São Paulo) 9-striped diversity flag (2018). BLM fist and raised fist are also seen in QPOC flags since 2016 (also QTPOC), along with different shades of brown and black skin colors.

trans flag colors were also seen in rainbow flags or flag combos since at least the middle of 2010s.

River Otter

So to try and explain this term , it stems from intersex otter by starfishfutch , loosely however , as for us we heavily fit into the otter term but due to being intersex find ourselves disconnected from the term in its basic essence , hence River Otter.

The easiest way to explain this is simply those who are Intersex with the traditional 'otter' traits but finds themselves disconnected from the term due to being intersex.

The flag itself has inspitation from the Otter flag , the Intersex Otter flag and the Sea Otter [by rabidbatboy] , however if either creator finds the flag feels too close to theirs we ask they reach out to us so we can remove this post and find a way to fix it ^^

Without more tangents , the flags themselves , we do ask that only intersex individuals use the flags [can't stop anyone from making a similar term however we are explicitly making these with intersex people in mind.]

We ended up with 3 different styles , one with the paw , one with the circle and paw and one with soley the circle

Dear r/systesmcringe: Stop being weird about LGBT doctors!

It's because Transgender Mental Health is a book written by a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, the highest honor the American Psychiatric Association gives. It's because the book itself was published by the American Psychiatric Association, undergoing both peer review and editorial review under the American Psychiatric Association's guidelines

This argument that the opinions of a professional psychiatrist with years of experience that affirms the existence of non-traumagenic plurality isn't valid because he specializes in LGBT issues is absurd and frankly comes off as borderline queerphobic.

This is a man who spent years of his life studying to be a psychiatrist. He has just as much medical experience as any other. In the plurality chapter of Trandsgender Mental Health, he describes a case study of a patient with DID, meaning he has direct experience working with at least one DID system. And again, this book passed peer and editorial review by the American Psychiatric Association!!!

All in all, I just need to say that "we can't trust the opinions of these psychiatrists on other mental health matters because they treat queer people" is not the hill you want to die on to justify your bigotry against endogenic systems.

Hatepromgender [Hate - Prom - Gender]

A gender related to hating prom for any reasons. Reasons may include not having anyone to go with, previous bad experiences, or just disliking social gatherings like prom.
