I am also getting myself into to mood to test my hand at boarding a pmv for my friend's cover #I think my thought for this was ''I should try and give her a more insectoid bodyplan''#which in this mostly means gently three-part body and six limbs (my favourite amount of limbs to draw rn)#actually almost gave her eight but didnt like how that silhouette came out so I mermaided her uh. abdomen I guess #though maybe next time I do this I should push that idea more. the head and torso are still very distinct for one unified part #I feel like one of my old attempts was onto something with like. a more horizontal body plan... well! live and learn etc #happy late mid autumn I guess. You know what I like so much about the aromantic community?

We have so many concepts that the average alloromantic person has never heard of. Concepts that make it so much easier to explain our experiences, desires and struggles to other people. They make it so much easier to exist as an aromantic person in this world. Of course, every aromantic person can decide whether they find these concepts helpful and applicable to their experiences. But I find it amazing how many cool concepts the aromantic community either came up with or took pre-existing concepts and made them our aromantic 101. I don't think the allos really get how being aromantic can fundamentally change your worldview. And to be honest, I think they're missing out because I think everyone would benefit from at least being familiar with those concepts.

Being aromantic is basically like this:

Aromantic shrimp colours are real.

Anyways, aromantic community, y'all mean a lot to me and I'm so happy I found y'all and now share your "secret" knowledge!

#transformers #maccadam #tailgate #ultra magnus #mtmte #lip syncing is actually a lot more fun than i expected #but tailgate's mask probably saved me like eight hours lmao #speaking of him i'm REALLY happy with how expressive he ended up being #i really didn't expect that kind of deformation to mesh well with the... uh... mesh.#so i was pleasantly surprised when it turned out as great as it did #mags' model was hard to figure out because he is SO FREAKING INCONSISTENT IN THE COMICS #but that also meant i got to cherry pick the features i liked best/that were simplest to model so... still a win #tailgate's blissfully consistent tho. his hood thing gave me a lot of trouble but i managed #this is my first time working with a lot of geometric shapes so i ran into a lot of road blocks but i did it!! yay!!

I modified the legs a bit #if you recognize this paper good eye #I had a leftover square that was only usable on one side from when I prepare the paper for my oyster #this gold and green coloring was for the exterior :)#you can see a teensy bit of the failed mother of pearl side on the inside of the front legs #really lovely volumes on this one and the thick goopy texture for the oyster actually collaborated beautifully #also again check out that back crimp UGH
