Trying so hard to figure out these modern AU designs, because there's some stuff I'm trying to keep from their original designs without it being toooo close :,D Cause I almost have Astrid figured out, but then it doesn't entirely feel like her... I take away something, and it looks a little too close to what she already wears-

I want Astrid to be the next design I post since I made so much progress, but man. She's difficult

I started this only knowing what I wanted with Hiccup

Then there's the other characters, who I'm trying to do justice and make them all look unique! But most of them wear their helmets, are a little bit spikey, etc.

They could theoretically all take inspo from each other being as close of a group as they are, but I still need these guys to feel uniiiiique

Might just go and make Heather next instead /j (seriously I've already got an Astrid sketch fully down already though. Just trying to perfect this outfit)

But I'll hopefullyyyy have them done soon :D

Or I'll just post doodles of the other dragons since I started trying to draw all of them from memory (I only memorized certain aspects so none of them actually fully look recognizable)
