And then Elio gets involved and takes Patrick's side, because he decided to screw it and screw Ayrton and always say and do the exact opposite from what Ayrton says and does.

The same thing could be said about Nelson, who also takes Patrick's side. And because Nelson is part of the gremlin trio Patrick's idea gets majority vote through Gilles and Jacques.
