I’ve seen a lot of headcanons and dubs where Wild has an American accent (which is totally fine, btw!)

but consider

all the Hylians we’ve heard in his era via BotW and TotK have British accents

sure, we’ve only heard the royal characters speak, but Wild spent a ton of time around them in his pre-calamity life, not to mention the fact his dad was a knight and likely lived in similar circles

and even if Wild’s language reset in the Shrine, the very first 2 beings to speak to him were Zelda and Rhoam

but it’s also implied in the games that Wild might have been from Hateno originally, which is a farming community

and he’s been living in the, well, wild

In conclusion, it’s entirely possible/probable Wild has an unhinged rural British accent, and may in fact speak Cockney (which is not rural, but Cockney Wild is hilarious to me)
