Full offense, I'm convinced the people seriously going on about the glowup just don't have depth-perception. Beside the fact that every character who goes through this looks the same (they haven't had a face transplant!), the reason you are seeing something different their time around is because now they are being painted in a more sympathetic and pov-centered light. Anthony was a joke the first season, then he came back with less sideburns and a left behind quest to marry his sister off to the grimiest, most unsuitable, and ripe worst option possible of the time. Now, we've seen Colin for 2 seasons paying no attention to the most obvious crush known to his ever-cultured-knowing man, and people have taken it personally. I'm sure that people who never watched Bridgerton thought Colin was just some empty-headed charmer (😉) and mean from the 2 seemingly most talked about scenes during hiatus. And the people not paying attention who do watch, they haven't seen the wonderful complexity that the show has laid stepping stones for and interesting character that the book first created (sucks for them). And don't even get me started on reactors and the solely exterior focus on Penelope and her Cinderella moment as if that's gonna be the catalyst for the ultimate pining from her one true love and HEA soulmate.

My dad's birthday is coming up. Kind of just like with my own birthday back in february, it seems to be affecting me in many ways. Well, maybe not many ways. But probably a few ways. I mean, my dad's turning 50. Considering I turned 20 recently and I still don't really have any close friends outside of my dad, I think the stressors should make themselves apparent. To just cut all nuance out: I'm scared of winding up alone. I don't want to lose my dad one day and still have no friends. That's essentially the core of it all. But it shows up in many different ways beyond just that.

For example, I have been feeling slightly more prone to reminiscing and getting sad whenever I'm reminded of the passage of time. I think that helps explain and showcase some of my issues. It's all just stuff that probably was unavoidable, if i'm being honest. But when it gets paired with my issues surrounding college approaching and all this other stuff, I think that some patterns present themselves fairly easily. I feel like there's way more I need to say on this topic, but I'm currently not sure what else to say. So I think I'm just done for now.

People who police grammar are the actual worst, especially strangers. Having a better grasp of how to use a language does not make you superior to others. And if you're a grown-ass adult, it's even worse. You're not an intellectual gift sent to us by God almighty, you're just annoying. You're probably that bitch that has something to say about everything and enjoys the sound of his own voice. Crying over people's grammar/accents makes you sound like you have a broomstick up your ass.

i dont think people understand what an 'au' means, it means Alternative Universe and thus some characters may act a little bit Out Of Character since they arent the same as the canon even if theyre super close

so yeah, that's why Ghidorah isn't acting exactly like his canon self in my asoiaf fic, cause if he did everyone would be fucking dead already

No, I’m not against having multiple languages for cards. I semi-actively collect them (for Pokemon specifically) but this is really weird to get from a non-grab bag style in a "nerd shop".

My thoughts —

Meovv — Sooin would probably be my bias (especially after seeing their mama stage) however I’ve known about Ella cause of her close relationship with blackpink since like 2019 I think so I was excited for their debut. Their songs actually hit for me! Won’t fully stan cause I just saw their ages and… yeah I’m too old lol, but body and meow are on repeat!

Riize — Wonbin heheh I mean how can I NOT bias him. Love their songs a lot, sm boy groups can really be a wild ride to stan because of how experimental their music can be but I’m happy to see that they are serving good music! Def see them as THE 5th gen male group to look forward for.

Katseye - Sophia or Lara would probably be my bias, love their songs but I haven’t really tuned in to stan fully yet. Their aura though is insane, I feel like they’ll actually do so well in the industry but should be promoted properly as a ���global group’ if that makes sense? But I can really see them possibly being huge cause their songs are hits and they DON’T play when they’re on stage.

Illit — Minju would most likely be my bias, i actually don’t really follow them but from the snippets of their songs I like her voice! Cherish my love is actually so cute and kinda a bop I won’t lie. Wish they were given a better identity concept but we blame corrupt corporate for that :/ . Wish them the best though!

Whenever I see "Colin must grovel," "Colin owes Penelope," I genuinely get so ewww. I know shouting on tumblr is just like shouting into the void, but Colin PINING has never been a question and I don't know why people are arguing about this. "Colin must show her for whatever he missed out on." Excuse me, ma'am! Colin and Penelope were between the ages of of like 8 and 12 (presumably), and he wasn't gonna like his younger sister's friend who he's known for half of his life! It's giving insecure peaking out from their own life. The idea that Colin has to earn Penelope's love and not vice versa is so skewed and a clear indicator that people don't understand this story at all. In a perfect world of real love, both involved will have to "earn" the love of one another, but it will not be considered "earning" the way it is done and how I presume it will happen. I can't imagine the new shock outrage of people watching when Penelope has to face the reveal for what she has kept secret for all this time. Because that's the story-2 people growing and having unconditional love and not blaming people for their past and everything they've been or their futures (you know, like the fandom).

I had an idea for a whole essay on why Maomao is quicker to accept affection from Loulan/Shisui than from Jinshi and how that's a reflection of her being raised in the pleasure district by courtesans and thus viewing affection from women as a given and natural thing to receive and give but at the same time viewing affection between men and women as transactional and something men have to pay to get and women offer as a product but I prefer to just enjoy the doom yuri while it lasts instead

1. Assuming that low empathy makes someone a bad person. It does not. Actions are what matter, not empathy levels.

2. Demonizing autistic people whose low/no empathy they attribute to their autism. Autism fundamentally impacts the way you interact with the world, others, and yourself. That includes empathy.

I love the scene where Anna kisses Dean and they cut to Cas every two seconds and he just looks like he's witnessed someone get hit by a car, most people interpret that look as jealousy, which I somewhat agree with but what this actually was, was the exact moment where Cas thought "I didn't know angels could do that",

also at that point Cas and Dean didn't have much of a thing going on yet for Cas to get jelous in that way, it was more of a "If Anna did it, I could have done it too" look, he entertained the idea of free will because that interaction alone made him understand he had options other than 'obeying heavens orders' and what do you know, a couple episodes later he comes running to Anna talking about "considering disobedience" against gods rule. The kiss got to his head. I love that stupid little angel
