Correct me if I'm wrong but I think she also ate a part of her forearm. When they prepared to burn her, Taissa saw her arm, and she saw it had a chunk of it missing. Shauna cut it while she was hallucinating Jackie doing it but she was the one holding the knife. She must've eaten that too!

Will the truth about "the horrible things they did" out there, come to light eventually? Will Jackie's ghost see to it?

I think about Doomcoming and Jackie. That episode is so special because that night, they crossed the line that separates humans from animals. They were no longer a group of teens lost in the wilderness. And with casting Jackie out (as it has been pointed out numerous times by other people's analysis) their link to society and humanity got severed.

I feel like Jackie's story needs to be told for the world to know. We,the viewers, are being told the story by Shauna and the rest of the YJ that got rescued. We all collectively now, carry the burden and guilt of knowing what they did out there.

I know they are likely to get in trouble but I do hope we see their story be revealed. For Jackie's parents, for the other people's families. And as weird as it might seem, I think it will ease the pain they all still carry inside of them.

Maybe that way Shauna will finally get closure with Jackie's ghost and go on with her life,be it in a prison cell or otherwise.
