Another follow up for the previous post of this Pokémon AU (1) (2), this time is for the Elders! (At least the ones that matter /LH)

Unlike the other posts I'm not gonna go very in deep about every Pokémon here bc I'm tired, so I'mma just do a quick summary;

Both Caviar and Oyster have basically a full water type team, and I didn't mention it before; but in this AU, it's tradition in the Crème Republic to receive a water type starter Pokémon when you become of age- this can either be a traditional water starter or just any water type really. Caviar's being Clawitzer and Oyster's Basculegion. Both also don't have a full team of 6, less is more if you will, and they will MESS you up in a battle. Oh and also they have mythical/Legendary Pokemon, because I say so (do Manaphy and Keldeo even count as such? I dunno).

Despite Elder Custard's starter being Feraligatr, his ace is Malamar while his Galarian Rapidash is the Pokémon he uses in public the most,,, really a two faced bitc- has some ghost and dark types to spice things up, the Honchkrow is actually a late member since he 'gifted' one his Pokémon to Clotted.

Millefeuille but the more you look at her team the more messed up it is /hj, but seriously; she has Pokémon who look fine at first glance, but some will either poison you to dead (Toxapex and Galarian Slowking) or straight up change up your memories (Beheeyem), really accentuating her manipulative personality. And if you realize, her starter is Empoleon,, wonder who else had one,,,, meh, probably not important :)

Keeps things like French Girl lip tints/Glossier lip balms/Too Faced lip glosses, a hand mirror, a comb, some bonbons, a book, a rollerball of perfume, hand cream, a piece of rose quartz, a scrunchie, a nail file, spray on SPF and bubblegum in her bag at all times

Is always up to date with Fashion Week

Writes in her diary daily in swirly writing using coloured gel pens, pressing flowers between the pages and spraying perfume samples on it

Lights Yankee Candle Fresh Cut Roses or Rainbow Cookie, keeps soap and lavender in her wardrobe, and has vanilla diffusers around the house

Has her morning and evening routines down pat: waking up to melodic music, opening the windows, making the bed, doing gentle yoga, simple skincare, getting dressed, applying makeup, and eating a simple but delicious breakfast in the morning, and having a warm shower, doing more decadent skincare, putting on comfy cotton or satin pyjamas, journalling, enjoying a calming cup of herbal tea, reading, looking out the window at the moon, and falling asleep to relaxing sounds like ocean waves, gentle rainfall, and white noise at night. Her life runs like clockwork.

Adeleine could see the unused china in front of her. She was going to seat herself at table for supper, Suits her just fine. Only thing that bothers her is the large gray squeaker at the end of the table as the shadow falls to him. All it does now is give her the creeps. he just stared at her and Adeleine could not help trembling with fear.

Daroach puts a small tea bag from a small box into a teapot. he got out of his chair and approached her with the tea pot. all adeleine could do is push back against the chair.

More food headcanons:

- Bento boxes are the most common food items bought across Kanto. Not many children learn to cook that early (and what you do without a kitchen!). It’s convenient to stock up on bento boxes and preserved food.

- People have recently been pushing to teach Kanto children how to cook or at least to identify what they can eat in nature and how to prepare it. Four prominent cases of food poisoning made the news. Those children’s stock ran out and they were nowhere close to civilization. So they grabbed forage they didn’t know was poisonous.

- Food packaging is one of the biggest source of littering. There are signs everywhere in Kanto to remind people to take their trash with them. New trainers get a pamphlet how to deal with plastic and the likes during the journey until they can dispose of them in the next town or city.

(Companies ignore complaints when people point out that they could change the packacking.)

- Food waste is a problem in some cities in Unova. Supermarkets mostly serve big portions for traveller rations. Lone travellers often can’t finish them. Their pokemon often don’t like those dishes or aren’t allowed to eat them. Your best bet for smaller portions are family-owned shops and local markets.

- Kalosian parents traditionally give a lot of sweets as a care package to their children when they travel. They include macarons, millefeuilles, caramels, nougats, cookies, etc. often in the shape or with the image of slurpuff and swirlix.

Having the Pokémon brainrot again so here's some of the Crème Republic cookies with Pokémon teams, a lot of these have to do with my personal headcanons and fanon but if anyone have any suggestions/changes I would really like to know!

Many notes about my reasonings under the cut for those who are curious;

To start of, many of you may have noticed that some- if not ALL of them have at least one water type on their team; this is simply because the Crème Republic is and ISLAND and the ocean theme is often a big part of the city.

Grand Madeleine has some motherly but fearsome Pokémon (Kangaskhan with Mega-Evolution, Marowak [Alola], Nidoqueen) along seemingly cute ones that can actually kill you (Togekiss, Primarina, Raichu [Alola]). Also two of them are the Alola regional variant because, again,, Island. Also the Primarina may or may not have belonged to someone else before 👀.

Madeleine is the typical popular guy, so he has three starter Pokémon for different regions that represent different gimmicks from the games (Sceptile that can Mega-Evolve, Quaquaval that can Terastallize and Cinderace with Gigantamax) He also has a Dragonite and Lucario mostly for show, but his ace is a shiny Armarouge that was given to him by his mother as one of two Charcadet when he was a child- Mmh, wonder who got the other one...

Espresso has Pokémon who are active at night (Umbreon who he had since he was born when it was just an Eevee and a Lunatone) and some that had been seen with scientists in games to help him with research, or just have unique qualities not many Pokémon have (Porygon-Z, Rotom, Kabuto, Castform). Espresso doesn't do much battle, which is why his Kabuto hasn't evolved.

Financier gets both a Gardevoir and Gallade that can Mega-Evolve (because she deserves it, also Gardevoir original Japanese name is 'Sirknight' like come on, it was meant to be lh) Tyranitar because is a Pokémon often use in competitive, Mienshao and Kingdra for some type coverage and Empoleon because starter, and probably given to her by Millefeuille as a child because I love symbolism.

And finally, Clotted Cream gets a Lapras that Light Cream surrendered after he was adopted by Elder Custard, because she knew she couldn't take care of it anymore. Had an emotional support Eevee that evolved into Espeon, Arcanine mostly for intimidation but his is just a big friendly puppy that wouldn't hurt anyone, Roserade because fancy, Furfrou since their Pokedex entries states that they'd used to serve as guards for kings, and last but DEFINITELY least is the outliner Mismagius "generously gifted" to him by Custard since,,, wouldn't you like to know-

I made it

to Quito and back in one piece. Whatever we’ll say about the much-maligned former President Rafael Correa, he did build very good roads. The Panamericana (or La Pana) cuts through the mountains, the ride is smooth and the views are spectacular. The Northern Andes are giant piles of compacted sand, with a sprinkle of rocks. The sand sometimes gets loosened and lands on the road, thanks to tremors, earthquakes and rain, but no such occurrences today.

My hopes for meeting again the French pastry baker selling his incredible millefeuille pastries on the bus were dashed again. I pine for him for a good few years already, and nothing. 😥 Sometime I think I imagined him, but no, I vividly remember the pastries, the best I ever had.

I stocked up on Belgian almond-chocolate cookies found at the supermarket instead, checked out a few stores, ate chicken/avocado sanduche, had chocolate with whipped cream and went home. On the way back, we had a strange movie played on the bus, instead of the usual martial arts ones from Hong Kong. I’ve found later, it was “Facing the Giants”. I didn’t know such movies exist; basically, the football team under guidance of the coach prays and reads scriptures and gets religiously zealous and the Lord rewards them by changing the wind direction to a favourable one and letting them win. The Lord also somehow makes the infertile coach fertile and look, they have a baby! (and a new car, and salary raise!) The Giants obviously didn’t know they should play for Jesus. Luckily for the Eagles, they did not have any heathens, 😱Jews 😱 or 😱 Muslims on the team, and only, I’m not sure, one Black person? but he had to be a good Evangelical. I was slightly nauseous after the movie, and not because the winding road.

I got the cabin fever out of my system, and travel certainly educates.

He will shower TF out of you with compliments and encouragement; he believes in you! :D

If you show him Disney movies he'll be HOOKED. (Ayy a Pirate joke) Expect him to own Disney+ y'all and he will binge watch with you

Onsies don't fit him and it makes him sad and that's about as angsty as I'll fucking get :D
