Sorry. I'm a bit obsessed with vernetto (tk14). I just now notice (or maybe ) I have developed such a weak spot for yuri with a bit complex childhood friend tone background surrounding them.

Now that I remember that Princess Principal has similar tone of yuri where AngeLotte basically were also childhood friends but the thing that sold me from PriPri was not that tone of yuri but more like princess and her knight thingy(?)

And... And how Princess(Charlotte) basically wants to melt/ruined the wall in Ange's cold heart?!?! That was really sweet.

Meanwhile in Reverse: 1999, in the case of Vernetto, they both also have similar tone too with AngeLotte (princess/lady and her knight) but I think their personalities and roles got kinda Reversed here where Vertin is the one that has the role like Princess(they both have similar motives to save their people/Arcanist) while the pain of losing friends causing Vertin numb and expressionless, hence the poker face but not cold like Ange she is death inside and the only motive to survive was so she can meet princess and elopes to Casablanca with her

And we have Sonetto with a more warm and naive personality compared to Ange(similar with Princess) but she still shares the same motives with Ange where they just wants to protect their lover

To be a cartoon created where your character traits design does not effect you in the show (because it’s a cartoon) and your entire things is arts n crafts…. You love making art that’s like, your whole thing

Then to be translated into real life as a living cartoon, and suddenly the claws that didn’t give you any issues in the animated show gives you issues- and more importantly it makes drawing harder. So despite loving to draw and in the show you wouldn’t have these issues suddenly one physical trait makes it so much harder. I feel that would be a bit discouraging somewhat

A scraps in the show with drawings that the physical in real life scraps just. Can’t seem to look right to it. Watching herself drawing with no issues. Yeah she probably goes ‘no not good enough’ and throws that stuff to the side in the show too but it’s… distinctly different for you. You still love drawing though, and it’s practically your defining trait show wise. You are part of the living arts n crafts, that’s who you are.

It’s just. Harder. Especially when the shows events act as your memories and your life too. At one point your claws weren’t even an issue, not hindering anything you did until suddenly they did.

Muggle college AU where Harry sneaks into tom’s dorm room (after making sure to drug tom’s water earlier ofc) and takes pictures of him while he sleeps and posts them online. because god fucking dammit, Tom riddle is the most annoying RA that could possibly exist, and he wants a little bit of light revenge.

Harry realizes that “light revenge” may have gotten out of hand around the same time he started stripping Tom, and suddenly he was balls deep in both Tom riddle and a felony. The gravity of the situation did nothing to prevent Harry from taking a video, even though it was just more evidence that could be used against Harry.

Last Twilight Ep 9; The conclusion of Mee's story

Mee's story was such an amazing addition to Last Twilight. I've explored the parallels in the stories before here, and this episode marked the conclusion of Mee's story. I absolutely loved that the book was actually written by a father who's daughter was going blind. Much like we enjoy and find comfort in queer allegories made by queer creators, Day found comfort in David's writing.

I forgot to get a screenshot of the exact dialogue, but in the last leg of the story, Mee seeks out the Last Twilight mountaintop in hopes that it will break the curse. Day seeks out the mountaintop too. to see the place that brought this story to life, to know what the author saw, and to have one more memory for himself for when he loses his sight.

We see them enact Mee's journey within the book, also mirroring the journey David would have gone on when bringing his daughter to the mountaintop. Mhok reads the story that David wrote, travelling with Day as David would have travelled with his daughter, the inspiration for Mee.

Side note, Day's happiness when realizing that Mee was based off of someone very similar to him is understandable. There's nothing better than finding others who are like you, especially when they're behind works you see yourself in. It functions both at face value, and as a queer allegory.

Then, of course, they reach the mountaintop. and Mhok reads the ending of the book, in which Mee is bathed by the sunlight and turns to stone, never to fade away again. Mhok doesn't like the ending, it's too abrupt, too sad. He doesn't understand why Mee's life has to end there, why the author would choose to end the story of a girl inspired by his daughter in this way. But Day gets it. As he's sitting with Mhok at the mountaintop, he understands what it's like to want to be trapped in a moment forever. (This also says a lot about their characters, and how they view the world differently)

In the end, Last Twilight didn't come. And sure, there's some 'the journey was more important than the destination' stuff here, but it's also about Day finally accepting that his sight is gone for good. I've talked before about how Mee no longer chasing after the sun paralleled the end of Mhok and Day's relationship as caretaker and caretakee(?), and I think that Mee turning to stone parallels this point of Day's life somewhat similarly. Mee would never fade again, but she would remain a statue forever, a fate viewed to be just as bad, if not worse by many. Day has become fully blind, a fate viewed as far worse than his vision before. But maybe, this could lead to a new chapter in his life, where he could be free of the small, torturous part of his brain that refused to believe that his sight wasn't coming back.

So yes, maybe it was better to end the story this way. Day may be fully blind, but he has Mhok to ensure that Day never fades away again.

And it's ok that Last Twilight never came, because he saw it anyway, and the last thing he ever saw was the face of someone he loved, the face he wanted to be the last thing that he ever saw.

Mee's story could be seen as tragic, yes. But to her, turning to stone, trapped in a wonderful moment for her to treasure forever, this was a fate far better than chasing after the sun forever, forever afraid of fading away.

What are you arguments on Sae being an INTJ?

But I'm glad you asked because I was going to make a post on it anyway. The world deserves to know.

On why (I think) Sae is an INTJ

Itoshi Sae is currently typed as an ISTP on personality-database.com with 243 votes. Am I saying all those votes are wrong?

It can be a bit tricky to decide whether Sae is a J or P type, because J types tend to be more worried about how they are perceived by others, which Sae is not concerned about. I can see why people would think he is an IXXP type because of that.

However, these are an ISTPs MBTI functions as follows: Ti, Se, Ni, Fe. Which doesn't make sense for Sae and the way he plays soccer. Why?

Here's how Rin describes Sae's playstyle:

Key words being efficient, calculate and optimal.

This sounds a lot like extroverted thinking, which is a goal oriented function that values efficiency, and introverted intuition, that funnels sensory input into coming into an accurate conclusion (calculating the most optimal way to score). So, Sae's playstyle utilises Ni and Te rather than Ti and Se. Rin, who is typed as an INTJ on personality-database.com, was shown to have been emulating Sae's playstyle in the U20 match, when it's revealed that his original playstyle was more instinctual. So I don't know why people would think Sae isn't an INTJ, considering he was the original playmaker before Rin.

In fact, it would make more sense for Rin to be an ISTP rather than Sae. Auxiliary extroverted sensing can be explained to contribute to his instincts, which was better than Sae even at a younger age. Let me be clear, I do believe Rin is an INTJ, I'm just comparing the two.

Of course, one's playstyle doesn't define their MBTI type. But considering this is a soccer manga and we don't get many instances of seeing the characters not play soccer, this is what we have to work off on.

What's more, XNTJ types tend to be one-track minded due to introverted intuition (limited and deep focus, planning ahead) and extroverted thinking (goal oriented, ambition, efficiency), making them very driven to achieve a single goal. Sae has been playing soccer since he was one, and he hasn't strayed from his goal to become the best in the world, just that he switched positions.

To bring up another key difference between J and P types, J types to be more productive and focused on success/reputation, whereas P types like to do what they find fun and enriching. Compare Sae to an IXXP easier to identify like Nagi and you'll see the difference between a wholistic and individualistic ego (Isagi is onto something). Sae plays soccer to become the best midfielder in the world - wholistic ego. Nagi plays soccer because he finds it fun - individualistic ego.

I designed Catsune/Nyatsune Miku with hair paws/claws. I also just came up with

Nyatsune Miku- Hair paws/claws. Her basic attacks are ofc her hair punch, spam and you get a hair stand oraoraoraoraora! Her hair grab and 👋 slap. Popipo vegetable juice riding it and running across the screen, leek helicopter (levanpolka). World is mine, love is war, brs and other that i could think of as song finishers

Luka Megurine - Ofc, tentacle hair. Octopus Luka. Her attacks are giant baseball throw of tako luka with a giant tuna, giant tuna smash, fresh catch, & hair grab. Some ideas for her finishing songs are JBF, Night fever, World dance hall, enbizaka, Magnet

Meiko- fox, cus it just seem fitting and she ate. Basic attacks are her sake, swinging her microphone stand, maybe a drunken fist style? Top of my head for a song finisher is conchita, will do more research since I forgor the others

Kaito- Wolf? cus Im basic. His attacks are ice cream/popsicle related! Freezes the enemy. Slaps them with giant popsicle & basic attack with his long scarf. Id like to add stuff like if he wins against a gakupo enemy madness of duke plays lol bunch of song finishers in my head cant remember titles-

Rin and Len- still not sure if otter or fennec. But Lens design would focus on his banana hair, he takes it out like my nendoroid and he throws it like a boomerang, he spamms and regrows his banana hair and ofc rin on her ribbon, ofc theres a theme here and its gonna be a huge ribbon, thinking if she uses each as shureken to mirror len’s banana boomerang throw! Also thinking if she could fly like Tails with it- 🚁 Too tired to list the songs but ofc ill include the daughter of evil series on everyone

Gumi- Rabbit. I love love love LOVE gumi and I remember her being 🥕 so a rabbit/bunny seems fitting! Giant carrot ofc, carrot attacks, her harvesting and pulling out the carrot only to bonk the enemy with it. Some songs that have two voice banks singing it would appear in their song finishers like Matryoshka!

Gakupo- Tiger? Lion? Still not sure but one of the finisher songs is def gonna be Madness of Duke- where if you finish of the enemy *you win* signs appear and him and the “ladies” are all lined up in the bg? Cant explain it properly but ye. Dancing samurai, go google it are on top of my head

This idea is heavily inspired by Super Gem fighter 😭 I love that game so much I want something similar except in the consecutive acts where like you change “outfits/designs” in Super Gem fighter (SGF) in this game you do it also with Song references changing outfits/designs/ base on that songs mv and each phase of the attack is a different song reference where if you finish of an enemy in that phase of the attack you finish them of with the song and stay on that costume/outfit/design and have like a finishing move or moment i.e Len vs Rin Daughter of evil and Servant of evil, Rin(Player1) finishes off Len(enemy/player2) and winning the game, Rin crying after-

Ofc theres secret characters. Top of my head rn is BRS. Not sure if Teto should be a secret character. Maybe her old design and then her new one is included since you know her being official! Additional characters/content would be Kaii Yuki, Vflower, SeeU, Iroha, Lily, IA and more. Theres so much still on my head and I want to make it happen 😭😭😭😭

thinking about the whole ‘you’re perfect’ ‘no YOU’RE perfect!!’ ‘no YOU’REEEEE PERFECT’ adrienette exchanges and how while thats very cute and sweet and all it also reveals a gap in their dynamic? the fact that they think that. the fact that neither of them are. the fact that this puts both of them on pedestals and also puts them on a ticking time bomb because NEITHER of them feel perfect because perfect is not something you should actually aspire to be (unlike what gabriel agrete thinks). this makes them (adrien especially) think he doesn’t deserve marinette. and that. despite thinking they can be themselves around each other… they can and they can’t? and that ambiguity opens up a beautiful can of worms i can’t wait to see explored
