you knew anything Jungwon gifted you was bound to be absolutely cute and special, and he did just that

for you, nothing was better than something a little sentimental, especially considering this valentine, Jungwon was away on tour and couldn't be there to spend the occasion with you

what you didn't expect though was to receive a gift despite his absence

but the morning of the 14th you woke up to your boyfriend calling to ask you to check the back of your closet only to find a cute white basket with a red bow tied around it

how you had not noticed this for the past few days it had been there is beyond you but you're only further stunned at how warmed your heart is by the gift itself

inside was a bunch of all your favourite snacks, your favourite perfume and at the bottom, one of Jungwon's hoodies folded neatly ready for you to embrace yourself in

"I know I can't be there to spoil you or give you all the cuddles in the world but you'll have to hold onto my hoodie for awhile just until I come back so enjoy your snacks too." he tells you over the phone as you fight back tears of joy

making his way over to your house, heeseung stood by your door lifting his hand to knock as he quietly hesitated before pacing back and forth outside your corridor as he got nervous mentally preparing himself not knowing what to say or expect once you opened the door

"No I got this, it's easy, I just have to ask them right?" he said to himself

before he could hesitate any longer he knocked thrice before the door swung open and he was met with your bright smile

what he didn't know was the sudden pacing outside your door earlier caught your attention and you happened to notice the boy outside your peephole hyping himself up finding it cute

"Oh (y/n)! Uh this is for you, happy valentine's day!" he said nervously as his ears got red

looking down at the gift, you realise he has a giant white teddy bear in his arms almost his size and a white letter with a red heart sealing it in his other hand

"I know you weren't expecting any of this but would you please be my valentine and my-" you cut him off grabbing his face in your hands kissing him

"I would love to." you say as he smiles sheepishly before he kisses your forehead

waking up for valentine's you sure were not expecting an empty bed nor a note from said man seemingly sending you on a small treasure hunt

not aware of his whereabouts, all his first note said was to enjoy the warm bubble bath he had prepared as well as the breakfast he had stored for you in the microwave

next note on the fridge lead you to one of your favourite spas where the receptionist only smiled letting you know all expenses were paid and "your husband" wanted to make sure you were pampered like royalty, you felt no need to correct her that you weren't married to jay... yet

after the more than satisfying spa treatment, the receptionist kindly handed you the next note and here you found yourself at a flower shop and there your handsome boyfriend stood outside with a bouquet of bright red roses having been waiting for your arrival

"happy valentines beautiful, I hope you liked what I prepared early." he says giving you the flowers before wrapping his arms around you giving you a tight hug

and yet the adventure was not over for the two of you, this time jay decided to take you to a small wine tasting event which set the perfect romantic ambience for you two

to complete the beautiful day, jay surprised you with an intimate home cooked dinner, your kitchen and living decorated with a string of candles as you quietly admired how handsome jay was while cooking for you

"I am so wife-ing you up." you blurted out mindlessly as jay only chuckled shaking his head focusing back on the steak

↳ a day filled with activities together

you and jake both decided this valentine's would be a bit more easygoing for the both of you so not much of the day was planned

a new art gallery had opened up nearby and you had been meaning to go with jake but with conflicting schedules, neither of you had the time to go until today

walking through the gallery together hand in hand, you both enjoyed the afternoon looking around and taking a few pictures of the art (ahem, including your boyfriend)

"They have a pottery studio upstairs, let's go check it out!" your boyfriend exclaims excitedly like a puppy wagging its tail

and that is how you both ended up in the studio above the gallery making each other ceramic mugs as valentine's gifts

finally finished with the pottery and having to wait a few days before you would be able to get them, the two of you headed down to the beach to have a little night picnic together to watch the sunset

"Wait stay right there!" jake suddenly urges holding his hand out indicating you to stop as you were mid laugh and now very much confused before he grabbed his phone taking a picture of you with the ocean and sunset right behind you

cuddled up on the blanket you both watch the sun go down and soon stars fill the sky lighting it up

"I love you so much." he leans in closer to you, "I love you more Jakey." you respond closing the gap between you both but the moment was short lived as a loud noise erupted and the sky filled up with bright colours from fireworks

↳ classic dinner date

as busy as sunghoon was, he still tried his best to give you the little time he could here and there and that included taking you out for valentine's day

he didn't say much to you other than to please be ready at 8pm and to put on your best outfit for your date that night

right on time, sunghoon was at your door with complimentary chocolate and some flowers for you

arriving at the restaurant, you notice how empty it was only a few staff left to which your boyfriend lets you know he had the restaurant privately booked for the night (it was moments like that where you remembered who and how rich sunghoon really was)

that night was filled with nothing but small kisses, good food and ofcourse sunghoon's dad jokes that did in fact make you laugh, he broke your humour

"I have one more gift for you." he says as you climb into bed snuggling into his embrace as you give him your undivided attention

reaching over to the bedside table, he pulls out a small blue Tiffany and Co bag and inside were two little rings

"I decided to get us promise rings." he says with a toothy grin slipping the ring on your finger as he chuckled at your state of shock, still baffled you somehow managed to take the other ring and slip it onto sunghoon's finger

fighting back tears, sunghoon holds your hand in his before gently kissing it before you engulf him in a tight hug

lost in dreamland, you were not expecting to be woken up so abruptly to the sound of pots and pans clanking down the hallway

getting up yourself to go check what all the commotion was about, you notice a head of blonde hair bent down looking into the oven and realised it was your boyfriend

"Sunoo? Baby what are you doing?" you ask softly as a yawn escapes your lips prompting Sunoo to also lift his head

"Oh, you're up, good morning! I'm sorry if the noise woke you up, I was trying to make you some cookies." he explains smiling shyly as you only then notice the first batch of heart-shaped cookies on your counter

walking closer to get a better look at them, you notice the red and pink icing with some wording on a few cookies "be my valentine?" it had spelt out

"Aww Sunoo-" you coo as you place your hand over your heart feeling your heart physically swell at this cute and sweet gesture

you make your way closer to him giving him a hug before gently holding his face to give him kisses all over as he gushes softly giggling at this display of affection from you

stopping, you pull away booping his nose, "your apron told me to do it." you jokingly say referring to his 'kiss the chef' apron

"Thank you so much for this, I would love to be your valentine, anyday." you tell him sweetly as you internally gush over his eye smile which made you fall in love with him to begin with

riki had just arrived back home early from a busy schedule and you were still at work/school without a clue having been under the impression that your boyfriend would only be seeing you the day after

taking advantage of the few hours he now had to surprise you for valentine's day, riki set up the space in the living room to build a comfortable pillow fort stacked with comfy blankets inside and dainty little fairy lights you had laying around in storage

the sound of the door keypad beeping catches his attention alerting him you were back and ofcourse the fort in the middle of your living room caught yours

"Surprise!" he jumps out from inside the pillow fort with his arms outstretched as you lung towards him squeezing him in a tight hug

"You just relax yourself and I will prepare everything." he directs you to the pillow fort after you changed into some more comfortable clothes

relaxing may have been a bad idea as the scent of something burning makes you instinctively get up and walking into your kitchen to find your boyfriend discarding the now burned popcorn into the bin

"So... funny story-" he says with a guilty smile as you fold your arms over your chest. "Riki how do you burn microwave popcorn?"

but alas, all is not lost with a better (edible) second batch thanks to you

now you can enjoy spending valentines with your boyfriend cuddled up in his fort watching silly cartoons together, there's nothing more you could ask for

You went to this mini cafe which was filled with couples and somehow have a couple discount that day.

And being a broke college student you both are, you decided to act it out just to get the goddamn 25% discount, and they actually believed it. (Gullible)

Your waitress even said how cute you both were and he is such a gentleman for buying you a lovely bouquet of (your favorite) flowers.

Jungwon said so much sweet yet cringy things that day such as "you're so beautiful" "I wish I can kiss you right now" "can't wait to marry you"

“y/n, stop.” you never turned around as heeseung kept calling out to you. you didn’t want to. turning around meant facing him again, and you didn’t know if you were capable of it.

“y/n, stop!” you walked faster, but heeseung’s legs were faster than yours. a brisk walk turned into a jog, until you broke out into a sprint, your vision blurred as you realized you’d never be able to outrun him. this proved to be true—before you knew it, a pair of arms had enveloped you with a strong force, the momentum barreling the two of you to the ground. you hit the grass with a thump.

“just go away,” you murmured, trying to avert your gaze from him. as you scrambled to your feet, you felt a tug at your legs. reluctantly, you looked downwards. the sight before you made your breath hitch in your throat.

heeseung laid himself bare for you as he got on his knees, grasping at you as if he was begging for his life.

he was begging for you.

you felt paralyzed as he looked up at you, pathetic and desperate. “just listen to me,” he pleaded, all discretions gone. his inhibitions had finally thrown out the window as he threw himself at your feet.

“please,” he begged, bowing his head. “i need you more than anyone else i’ve ever needed in my life. i didn’t get it before, but now i do.”

he looked up at you then, his shoulders slumped, his palms facing upward on his lap. “y/n… i love you. you don’t understand how badly i need you.”

he was in complete submission of you. the thought of lee heeseung at your mercy was a thought beyond comprehension.

“get up, heeseung,” you pleaded, not wanting to maintain eye contact. you tried to push him away, at least trying to pull him up from his knees, but he wouldn’t budge.

“stop calling me that,” he cried, shaking his head. he was groveling now. “baby, please. i need you. i’ll do anything to show you. i promise, i’ll spend the rest of my life proving it to you.” his eyes were tear-stricken. “please.”

you gave him a good look, the way he threw himself at your feet as if he knew nothing better. you were silent, completely still. he was a mess at your feet, and even if you wanted to say something, you couldn’t. you were at a loss for words. this was too much to take in all at once.

“let me prove it,” he begged, staring up at you like it was all he knew how to do. “give me the chance to show you how much i need you, how i’ll put everything into showing you that i need you here with me.”

“yes,” he agreed without letting you interject. “yes, i am serious. i will do anything and everything to prove this to you—right here, right now.”

“sure you will. just what could you possibly—jay? jay?” you stumbled over your words as he reached out to grab your wrist, giving you no room to fight back as he firmly placed your palm over his heart. you were frozen in place as he approached you then, breaking the distance between the two of you. “what are you—”

“do you feel that?” he interrupted you, his voice desperate, whiny. “do you feel me?”

you did. his heart beat was racing, more than you’d like to admit. the longer he stared at you, the faster it seemed to go. but no matter how fast it beat, he continued to stare at you, conveying his desperation the only way he knew how. “this is what you do to me,” he breathed out, gripping your wrist tighter. “keep it there. you drive me crazy. i need this. i need you.” when he realized you weren’t going anywhere, his facial expression softened. “i love you,” he whispered.

he had you stunned. he saw the way your jaw fell slightly ajar, and he took the opportunity to come even closer to you. his chest was inches apart from yours. “i’ll do anything to prove it,” he pleaded. “if this isn’t enough, i’ll do something that is. y/n, this is the most serious i’ve ever been in a long time. if it’s anything you can believe from me, it’s this.”

“jay, you can’t be serious,” you whispered.

he looked at you, the determination and desperation in his face clear. “yes, i am.”

“you’re lying to yourself and you know it!” he argued, now beating your pace with a jog. before long, he caught up to your pace, taking your hands within his own. “y/n, i don’t understand. help me understand. i’m right here, for you. don’t you get it?”

“can you just let go?” you thrashed in his grip, trying to throw his hands from yours, but to no avail. “i told you, i don’t want you here, you don’t need to follow me, you don’t need to do anything of this. just leave already!”

“no!” he yelled in retaliation, his eyes widened with panic. “do you not get it? do you really not understand?”

“no,” you spat at him, “i don’t.”

then, in one swift motion, jake had his hands gripped to your hips, almost slamming your body against his. you yelped at the close proximity, but his eyes never wavered from yours.

“y/n,” he whispered, his voice breathy. “i’m yours.”

you didn’t answer, his shock confession processing in your mind. noticing the way you slowly loosened your tense body, jake pressed his forehead to yours. “i am yours,” he repeated, his words pronounced. “undeniably, i belong to you. you are all i think about, you are in my dreams, you haunt me, and i invite it. i want all of it. i want all of you.”

“jake…” your attempts to escape his hold were futile—but you weren’t really trying your best, anyway. your voice faded as he traced your bottom lip with his thumb.
