A common theme I see through the life is strange fandom is Nathan Prescott hate, which I understand cause he’s a shit person! I don’t support his actions of any sorts but it makes me upset how a lot of people will ignore the fact that Nathan Prescott was literally groomed by mark Jefferson just because Nathan is a shitty person. He was still a senior in highschool having his teacher who is a grown man manipulate and twist his already mentally unstable mind to make him far more dangerous to others. Mark Jefferson used Nathan’s daddy issues as a means to get in his head and make Nathan trust him, telling Nathan the things he wanted to hear just to get Nathan’s money and the drugs to carry out his sick perverted plan. once Nathan wasn’t to use to him anymore he went as far as to kill him.

I genuinely believe that if he had never met mark Jefferson Nathan wouldn’t have done what he did. If his family, more specifically his father, payed attention to his mental disorders and actually got him active help he wouldn’t have turned out the way he did.

Just because Nathan Prescott is a huge piece of shit in the story it doesn’t make it ok for you guys to ignore the fact that he is still a victim as well. Mark Jefferson is the true villain in the game.

My thoughts on Denji:

Honestly, I don’t know if I’m the only one that thought about this, but like I relate to him, but on a level of not just like the funny things in the manga or anime. Like genuinely he is a perverted teenager of course he’s a teenager. Relate to him on the level of his desire…

Doesn’t really truly know what he wants, Makima that manipulative bitch was unfortunately the person to teach him the difference between love and lust. I’m gonna say this once again but Denji is a victim for the people in the back for the nerds: Um actually Makima has no romantic interest in anyone. To that I say yes you’re correct be he is a victim to her manipulation and I would beg to differ that she was low-key grooming the kid for her benefit.

I personally think that Denji canonically wants love, someone to care for him. That being the reason that he was for a while willing to do anything Makima commands like a dog quite literally. This mostly being because of lack of family and emotional connection. I know this because of my lack of family connection that I tend to reach for other to fulfill that role. Basically anyone that is interested in Denji romantically is basically interested in that stereotypical conventually attractive emo girl with daddy issues and hella trauma but like has a good personality if you get what I mean.

Aka me lol. I recently had my boyfriend stop taking to me and my friends distance me at the same time think our friendship falling apart is my fault because I’m bad at reading people especially if I don’t talk to them that often nor knew them that long. Usually I wouldn’t be so hung up on a friendship if my relationship with my significant other is in a weird spot. I do tend to place love over friendship but not to the extent of oh my boyfriend won’t let me. Things like putting my plans with my boyfriend over friends plans if anything I think I haven’t even really had plans with my boyfriend without my friends officially. Sneaking out of school to make out at a park near it doesn’t count.

The transformation in the top pair of photos is nothing like the transformation in the bottom pair. I know there are a few folks who can't get past the ridiculous bristles under Declan's nose. I know big pornstaches aren't for everyone, but I've come around on this one. I wish. (Pun intended.) When I first saw the press photos of him with the 'stache, I thought it was funny. I still think it's pretty silly, but honestly, the more you look at it...

Oh shit, am I going to develop crushes on old photos of Barney Miller and Alex Trebek?! Nah, probably not. But I think of the 'stache here as icing on the cake; decoration on the tree.

Whereas, when they transformed Ralph Fiennes into a burn victim for the English Patient, now that was a travesty. Yeah, yeah, plot and everything, blah blah blah. But he had the prosthetics on for a considerable chunk of the movie. And it looked nothing like him. I will never understand why producers cast men as beautiful as nineties-era Ralph in roles where he's going to be covered up.

As Declan, Aidan still looks like Aidan, even with the silly mustache. It would take something like English Patient-levels of makeup and prosthetics to really disappoint me.
