nothing is worse than reading and nothing is worse than not reading
#its one of those things for me where i have to really dedicate to getting into the zone so i can enjoy#like i do not hate reading or books no duh im a writer#but its more about my focus which is. bad!#so sort of like how setting up to make art is a whole endeavor in itself#i have to consciously go “ok reading time” and then ensure that i do not think about how reading i am#because if i think about how i am reading then i will stop being able to read#is this something anyone else does or am i just bad with focus#and i fucking loooooove to read i love to explore books but im just so so so unfocused and i get sooo sneepy w books#especially when im trying to read nonfiction which is my favorite in the great fiction/nonfiction debate#memoirs my love#but yeah i cant just casually go oh yeah im gonna open a book#then i just forget everything i read#cherry talk
