Wednesday, November 6th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as things have gotten worse for me as I'm struggling to pay off my account and to keep my utilities on!!

I apologize for asking for help again; as most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot to make ends meet while on welfare benefits and due to my rent arrears and ever-increasing debt. And to be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

However, due to late bills and fees, my account is overdrawn to an amount that I can't possibly pay off on my own. This has left me in desperate need of help, as my utilities are also on their emergency credit. I don't receive my welfare until the 30th, which will go towards this balance if I can't pay it off in time and leave me with next-to-nothing of my welfare.

I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/���1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much.

Haven't blogged about movies in a long while here's three horror recs for October

All You Need is Death, 2024, Paul Duane, AMC+

I won't shut up about this one for a long time I imagine. It's not even particularly gruesome or exciting, but there is self mutilation, body horror, and hyper pregnancy. and it kinda made me go a little crazy by the end.

Terrified, 2017, Demián Rugna, AMC+

there is a moment early in where you see a deceased, rotting, young child sitting at a dining table with cereal and a glass of milk and it's awesome. doesn't take its time to get to the scares and i enjoyed it a lot but the final scene felt sooo corny.

The Hyperborean, 2023, Jesse Thomas Cook, digital

this one is a comedy and i don't usually like horror comedies, but i gave it a chance since the writer, tony burgess, also wrote the novel and screenplay for my favorite zombie movie, Pontypool. i think it was definitely worth it, but i don't doubt it won't land as well for others. i won't lie it takes about 45 minutes for anything scary to happen and i'm not sure what i can say to make it sound appetizing. it's a laser blasting ice mummy.
