Mechanics of the Astral Clocktower (Theory)
Scrolling around, see the Bloodborne image with Lady Maria in front of the Astral Clock. Was thinking about how instead of numbers there are 12 blank circles around the clock face, which is a motif that I recently noticed in the Dark Souls 2 Smelter Demon Boss room (was researching for miniature painting reasons).
And because of the direction that my thoughts have been in recently, I thought to myself: This reminds me of the album cover for Clockwork Angels (2012). Except in that case instead of circles there were various alchemical symbols that replaced the standard numbers, each symbol is generally believed to correspond to a song on the album - although not always in order. One interpretation in this 2012 blog post that I found. A commonality that this shares with the Bloodborne clock is that the top symbols are in the correct orientation and the lower ones are upside down. The clock hands are also positioned meaningfully: on a 24 hour clock the time would read "21:12" in reference to one of the early breakout albums of Rush.
...and then I zoomed in on the photo and realized what of course Bloodborne fans have long known, which is that there ARE symbols etched around the border of the clock. It's just that they don't exactly align with the circles.
I haven't played Bloodborne, I can't just go stand in the room. So I try some searching because surely it has occurred to someone before that this is a timeline. A few hits, but nothing too satisfying in my short search. I've already more or less cracked the timeline puzzle in the Round Table Hold of Elden Ring, so I figured I'd take a look at the Bloodborne version. What I found especially interesting is that the most potent versions of most of the runes are found in the chalice dungeons, which have connotations of Victorian era Egyptomania similar to the mummified husks of the Round Table Hold. But the lower level versions tend to be found around the world in various places.
Video research intensified. When the clock is activated the circles complete a single full rotation in a clockwise direction and the upper hand completes 8/12ths of a rotation in the clockwise direction. The lower hand completes 11/12ths of a full rotation in an anti-clockwise direction, also crossing below the upper hand, which on most clocks would indicate that this is the hour hand. Given the context that Kos's corpse is found through the clock and her discovery by the hunters is an event that occurred in the past, I assume that the general idea here is to "turn back the clock" in the sense of conducting historical research.
I assembled a reference of the runes and their relative locations. There are 14 of them, clockwise starting left of Lady Maria:
- Lake - [Unnamed] - Oedon Writhe - Oedon - Guidance - Eye - Moon - Communion - Radiance - [Unnamed] - Hunter - Beast - Beast's Embrace - Deep Sea
Observations and other thoughts:
1) In the start position the two hands of the clock are aligned as if to link opposite sides of the clock face. The lower hand is pointed just before the "Beast's Embrace" rune which is obtained by defeating Lawrence, the First Vicar and when equipped allows permanent transformation into a beast. The upper hand is pointed at the "Guidance" rune, of which the 1st tier version is found on a Carrion Crow elsewhere in the Research Hall before reaching Lady Maria, the 2nd tier version is obtained from Ludwig, the Holy Blade ("Aah, you were at my side, all along. My true mentor… My guiding moonlight…"), and the 3rd tier version is simply unavailable without save editing the game.
2) The lower area is illuminated in light and the upper part is obscured in shadow - implying that the upper runes are more mysterious from the perspective of the Hunters. This could perhaps be read as a conversation between present and past. The next clockwise rune from "Guidance" is the "Eye" rune, which is one of only 3 blue glow runes in the game, and associated with the idea of having eyes on the inside.
3) The "Moon" rune is directly opposite the "Deep Sea" rune which is itself behind the head of Lady Maria. The 3rd tier version of the moon rune is obtained by performing the "make contact" gesture in front of the Brain of Mensis. The arms are held out at right angles as if to mirror a clock hands at 12'o'clock and 3'o'clock positions and then grasp and manually rotate that clock anti-clockwise to the 9'o'clock and 12'o'clock positions (or vice versa to force the clock forwards by a quarter turn, if the player facing forwards is themself the clock). The Doll in Bloodborne is modelled in the image of Lady Maria and she also reacts by clapping when the "make contact" gesture is performed. The 2nd tier version of the moon rune is obtained in the nightmare of Mensis during the Micolash fight, in which he appears to be puppeteering many dolls. As I understand it, the 1st tier version of the moon rune is obtained by being kidnapped by a Snatcher, defeating the Witches of Hemwick, and then taking it from a location in the Hypogean Gaol guarded by 2 other Snatchers.
4) Unlike a typical clock where only the hand move, the entire clock face rotates. Also it is a portal to another location. Both of these remind me of the function of the Stargate, for which the last chevron locked in is the point of origin. For Stargate the last chevron lock is positioned at the top of the wheel. In Bloodborne, the two clock hands form a chevron surrounding the circles at the bottom.
So my guess is that the present day is "Deep Sea" on the timeline - one step beyond "Beast's Embrace" (which is basically the thing that is presently happening to the Hunters) and the destination is "Guidance".
5) There are 5 standard Caryll runes that are not represented on the clock border: "Clockwise Metamorphosis", "Anti-clockwise Metamorphosis", "Blood Rapture", "Clawmark", and "Heir". The implication might be that these are concurrent with other runes on the clock border. A question would be, should efforts focus on trying to place them as substitutions for the 5 mismatched runes (the 3 oath runes and 2 unnamed runes), or should a wider range of possibility be considered?
There are 4 other runes that contain a hint of either clockwise or anti-clockwise turning. These are: "Beast's Embrace" (clockwise), "Beast" (clockwise), "Guidance" (twisted as if vacillating between clockwise and anti-clockwise), and the unnamed snake tangle rune (three strands turning in multiple directions).
A commonality between the other 3 runes is that they are all associated with visceral attacks - the "Blood Rapture" rune allows visceral attacks to restore HP", the "Clawmark" rune strengthens visceral attacks, and the "Heir" rune causes visceral attacks to grant more blood echoes. Of all other runes on the astral clock, only the "Oedon Writhe" rune is also associated with visceral attacks.
6) There are 6 total runes that can be placed in a player's "Oath Memory" slots, 3 of which are not represented on the clock face: "Corruption" (symbol of the Cainhurst Vilebloods), "Impurity" (symbol of the League oath), and "Milkweed" (rune envisioned by Adeline, patient of the research hall).
The inventory depiction of these runes includes a sortof circular shape as if they might be inset into the circles of the clock, and in fact the 3 that are present on the clock border each match to clock face circles to varying degrees. I would place the "Corruption" rune with the "Moon" rune opposite Lady Maria (she is thought to be a descendant of Cainhurst), the "Milkweed" rune opposite the "Lake" rune (it is similar to the left part of the rune, as if it's the false "eyes on the inside" version of the real rune), and the "Impurity" rune opposite the Unnamed rune of similar shape. Another support for this interpretation is that the three symbols are counting upwards: 4 voids, 5 tally marks, 6 dots.
Analysis (?)
Edit: with further research, there are several flaws in the below text, especially related to the chronology of the Hunters vs Church Hunters. I keep this up as a reference anyways.
I have been picking over this for 2 days and perhaps I see a shape of what's going on. I want to try working it out anyways before I lose my train of thought:
The Runesmith Caryll believed that a person can predict the future by listening to the Great Ones who live outside of time. From their position at 12'o'clock on the dial they peer into the shadowy abyss on the opposite side and faintly divine the "Deep Sea" rune. Over time they proceed to discover a handful of other runes: "Anti-Clockwise Metamorphosis", "Beast", "Clockwise Metamorphosis", "Oedon", "Eye", "Moon", "Communion", "Corruption", "Heir", "Radiance". To my knowledge, only these 11 runes actually have the text "A secret symbol left by Caryll, runesmith of Byrgenwerth." which would imply that "Caryll Rune" became a proper noun applied like a generic concept, and at least in the case of "Guidance" and "Milkweed", these are said to be discovered by specific other people.
So let's say you're Lawrence, one of Byrgenwerth's researchers in Bloodborne. It's around 4'o'clock on the dial (4 being a number associated with death in Japan) and Runesmith Caryll has just died. You're clearing out their office and you find all of these secret runes that they've been working on transcribing, as well as partial instructions on how to listen to the Great Ones. You get the idea this this is a recipe for immortality - a panacea that cures all ailments including death and will allow a human to become a Great One. You cover up the existence of the "Beast" rune deeming it forbidden - because implying that humans are animal is heretical and obviously humanity is destined for greater things. Could a beast have figured out how to comprehend the Great Ones? Instead you focus on the good stuff: "Radiance" awaits at the end of the future predictions as far as you know. To help you get there, the first new "Caryll rune" envisioned by the Church Hunters that you recruit is "Guidance".
The Healing Church starts to get rolling in the 6'o'clock timezone which is fixated on 3 concepts: "Eyes", "Moon", "Communion", and moves on to the 7'o'clock position as enthusiasm for the project grows, adopting the mythologizing of a grail quest/quest for immortality as inspired by the shape of the "Communion" rune. And also having people descending into the "chalice" dungeons to obtain the Old Blood.
The Unnamed rune at 8'o'clock might possibly represent that time that Old Yharnam's lake was poisoned and started an epidemic of Ashen Blood before the Church arrived to carry out blood ministration, as represented by the upcoming Oedon symbol. Or some other "unspeakable" event.
Research and human trials continue with the belief that all of the steps of the process are being followed as described by the runes. There tend to be outbreaks of people turning into beasts, but this is a "minor" setback. Between 9'o'clock and 10'o'clock something happens to cause doubt in the process. Communing with the Great Ones continues, but what they are reporting back is that there is something beyond enlightenment - a dissolution of structure. This rune remains unnamed because nobody can agree on what it means.
They decide to try again after inching forwards a bit further and discover the rune that would come to symbolize "Hunters". No longer an idealistic quest for immortality but a pursuit of elusive meaning of why things are starting to go wrong. They seek again and discover the "Beast" rune - they thought that they were following a linear timeline but instead they have been trapped in a cycle. This research into immortality will go nowhere - the Great Ones are not timeless beings, they're just dead and all that can possibly be perceived in their blood is echoes of the past. They are all now trapped in an ever deteriorating nightmare. With the "Beast's Embrace" being obtained in the Hunter's Nightmare it is acknowledged in retrospect that in declaring it forbidden to consider humans beasts they had given themselves permission to be monsters. They believed in an upcoming miracle despite all evidence to the contrary and deadened even emotion itself to justify treating people as slabs of meat to be experimented upon and dissected.
Future prospects are looking grim, and people figure that maybe Master Willem had the right idea after all and they should develop "eyes on the inside" to better understand their own current position, and figure out how the present zeitgeist is influencing perception of what comes next. So they do that and develop the "Eye" rune around 11'o'clock. And with this sudden injection of Madman's Insight the last threads of sanity in the Choir snap and they make the blood moon happen right on schedule at 12'o'clock by reanimating the Great One to whom the "Moon" rune belongs. Micolash is totally okay with being trapped in Samsara.
Meanwhile in the background of all this research stuff, probably Old Yharnam has been being rebuilt into Yharnam and the Healing Church has been waging war against Annalise and the Vilebloods until she is the only one left around 12'o'clock. The Executioners believe in a 14-spoked wheel, and in their version history will repeat itself and if man is diligent enough in destroying corruption for every revolution that will inch them slowly closer to someday reaching enlightenment and escaping that wheel - "Radiance" at 3'o'clock is their symbol because this is their aspiration. And true enough, Annalise seems to be immortal.
I'm guessing that a lot of the eldritch stuff happens between 10'o'clock and 3'o'clock - matching how defeating Rom triggers the blood moon and exposes all of the stuff that was previously only visible with high insight. Especially 1'o'clock and 2'o'clock - they need to repopulate the chalice dungeons with Great Ones for the next cycle of the Nightmare.
And by the time the clock is back at 4'o'clock the stage is basically set for the player who will soon be arriving. Badge or no, you are a Hunter of Hunters in terms of arriving and systematically eliminating the NPC Hunters.
#Bloodborne#analysis of art design#I think that there are more layers to the astrology puzzle#especially since Charred Thermos makes a good case that the Great Ones are themed after “things found in a human body”#and I know that there are those 15th century medical diagram zodiacs that assign sets of body parts to each astrology sign#I have my guess already about how to calibrate the 12 Western Zodiac signs in sequence#but also there's a reason for why there are 2 sets of 12 circles#also the timeline vaguely follows the clock. Evening 4:30-6:30pm. Sunset 6:30-7:00pm. Night 7:00pm. Blood Moon at midnight. Morning 5:30am.#On March 24 2015 in London England those are the times anyways

FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS MAY 23RD 2024: ASTROLOGY
This is how the full moon in Sagittarius is affecting the collective on a health/biological way. Reach out for personal readings whether in clarification of the following or other readings like card pulls, birth charts, dream analysis etc.
Full moon in Sagittarius in your first house is headache and pressure to the head causing occupational hazard. Massage your head and do breathing exercises. Rest please 🙏🏿
Full moon in Sagittarius in your second house is throat problems. Parched, scratchy or sore. Relax your throat, tone down on singing and talking. Tape your mouth when you sleep, cover your mouth when you cough or yawn.
Full moon in Sagittarius in your third house is pain in your hands. If you're an instrumentalist, you're always typing or writing, you may want to take a three day break or more. Teachers, the marking can wait or get taken slower. Carpal tunnel syndrome.
Full moon in Sagittarius in your fourth house is uterus discomfort. If pregnant REST or you risk serious complications that can lead to pregnancy loss. Especially with this Jupiter in Gemini coming on 26th May that will be I'm your 10th House. If you're on your period, it might be a rough one this time.
Full moon in Sagittarius in your fifth house is pressure in your chest stemming from your heart. Stay away from coffee, carbonated drinks, fatty foods, processed sugars. So some little activity and avoid lying down too long. Drink black tea or other non stimulating teas. I know black tea is a stimulant, but at this time it's the best tea for you. Avoid the relaxing teas. Sing your heart out and listen to dancy music like can't stop the feeling from Trolls. This will help relieve the pressure in your chest that's interfering with blood flow.
Full moon in Sagittarius in the sixth house. Stop taking drugs to fix that stomach issue. Chew and swallow a pea size amount of ginger. Put moringa powder in hot water, mix and drink it while warm , 250ml is enough. Drink black coffee to have a bowel movement. Eat a lot of leafy greens.
Full moon in Sagittarius in the seventh house. That flare up in your skin will pass, you don't need all those products. If you have access to breast milk, ask the mother and apply on your trouble areas. Your skin is also probably rejecting your partner and to some, pregnancy. The pregnancy one has a direct correlation with your skin rejecting your partner.
Full moon in Sagittarius in the eighth house. Yeah, you'll need to get that infection in your private parts checked. Don't have unprotected sex or else you'll learn a very horrible lesson and no this has nothing to do with pregnancy.
Full moon in Sagittarius in the ninth house. Don't trust yourself this time. You're always right but this time wait until the New moon in Gemini, your mind will have changed.
Full moon in Sagittarius in the tenth house. Maybe you shouldn't overwork or strain your bones like that? Someone needs to get their sciatic nerve checked and another their femur.
Full moon in Sagittarius in the eleventh house. You're feeling weird because your blood metal levels are high, go get checked. Stop taking iodine and or zinc, you probably have a certain deficiency and these supplements are destroying you. Get a doctor's second opinion, you probably don't have that disease (mostly cancer).
Full moon in Sagittarius in the twelfth house. You see how women with PMDD tend to want to end themselves before their period then they get their period and go "oh, so that's why". That's the same thing here, it's just the full moon in Sagittarius making things feel and seem so bad in such a convincing manner. Hold on, it will pass. However, you are tasked with working through whatever you're feeling even after this transit has passed, otherwise demons of old will haunt you down.
I hope this is helpful because the energy already started and will persist until after as it slowly wanes into and past the sign of Capricorn.

ABOUT ME
Hello! I’m Skylar if you’re new to my page and I got my diploma in astrology from Kepler College (the #1 best astrology school in the world)
I’ve been studying astrology for over a decade now as well and these are the books I recommend
☆ BEGINNER BOOKS ☆
The Only Astrology Book You’ll Ever Need by Joanna Woolfolk
Goes over all the basic information for beginners and has interpretations written in as well. In the beginning of the book it focuses a lot on Sun Signs but gives more insight on other placements later in the book don’t worry
Astrology for the Soul by Jan Spiller
Another great book for beginners. I like the interpretations
The Inner Sky by Steven Forrest
Written by a very renowned astrologer. He goes over signs, aspects, etc and breaks them all down really well
You were born for this by Chani Nicholas
I love how this book goes over how to use astrology in your daily life and isn’t just cookie cutter definitions of placements like many other books. It’s also interactive and you can write in some pages which is always fun. It’s one of my favorite books for beginners
Aspects in astrology by Sue Tompkins
This is a great book for people curious about what each aspect means and how they can manifest into your life
☆ INTERMEDIATE BOOKS ☆
Predictive Astrology by Michele Adler
This book is definitely worth the price. It gives lots of information on techniques you can use to make predictions in astrology. It’s based on Western Astrology
The Art of Predictive Astrology by Carol Rushmam
Another great predictive astro book that talks about how to make predictions based on transits in your chart
Medical Astrology by Judith Hill
This is a great book with information on body part astrology and medical information. Although I do want to note when reading this do not be afraid if you share one of the transits that the public figures mentioned had during their health issues arising as astrology is a polarity. Meaning you can take on positive traits rather than the challenging ones often
☆ ADVANCED BOOKS ☆
Asteroid Goddesses by Demetra George
Goes over all the major asteroids in astrology. This can help you a lot if you’re interested in learning basic information on asteroids
Planets in Composite by Robert Hand
There are not many books out there on Composite compatibility so out of all of them this is my favorite even though it’s very basic it’s still a good read if you’re learning about Composite charts
The Psychology of Astrocartography by Jim Lewis
This is the best book about astrocartography I’ve found so far and very informative. The only bad thing I have to say about this book is that the print is really small. It’s amazing other than that though
☆ OLD AGE ASTRO BOOKS ☆
Mastering Traditional Astrology by Mychal A. Brian
If you’re more interested in old age astrology then this is an amazing read. You can purchase it on Amazon
Astrology of the Tree by David Frawley
This is great for beginners in vedic astrology and goes over all the basics. Really anything by David Frolly is great if you want to learn about vedic
The Nakshatras; the Lunar Mansions of Vedic Astrology by Dennis Harness
It’s a short read and goes over all the meanings of all the nakshatras
Light on Relationships by Hart De
A very comprehensive read that goes over synastry in Indian astrology. It gives lots of interesting techniques that can give insight on future marriages as well
Mayan Calender Astrology by Kenneth Johnson
This is extremely hard to comprehend so don’t purchase if you’re new to astrology. Even I had to read it a few times to fully get it. It discusses the astrology that the egyptians wrote in their hieroglyphics
☆ BOOKS I STUDIED FOR MY DIPLOMA ☆ [these aren’t all of them just some of my faves]
Sky and Psyche; the relationship between cosmos and consciousness by Nicholas Campion and Patrick Curry
This is an extremely underrated book and one of my favorites by far. This book goes over not just meanings of the planets, houses, synastry aspects, etc but also why the planets manifest in certain ways
The planetarization of consciousness by Dane Rudhyar
This one isn’t a basic overview like the other books I’ve mentioned it’s more psychological type astrology which I found really interesting
History of western astrology volume 1 & 2 by Nicholas Campion
This goes over how astrology has been used throughout history and why it was used in the past
☆ OTHER ASTRO BOOKS ☆
Moonology by Yasmin Boland
This is a manifestation astrology book. It gives an amazing story about the authors life before using astrology and manifestation and how it impacted them. Great for learning how to manifest using the moon cycles and astrology
The Handbook of Chinese Horoscopes by Theodora Lau and Laura Lau
My favorite Chinese astrology book. There isn’t many good ones out there
Birth Time Rectification by Paul Manley
There are some things I would’ve added to this book that weren’t mentioned but other than that it’s pretty good in helping find the right birth times using vedic astrology

💣Astrology observations #7💣
DISCLAIMER : All the observations written below are from my research and DO NOT copy my work
I am apologizing for my absence so y'all are getting an observation now ♥❗❗
💥I noticed that a lot of people with taurus moon have most normal parents like I would sell my soul for that kind 👀
💥12th house can really tell about past life dominant sign. Ex. Taurus 12th house can mean that you were possessive of your belongings (either Taurus, 2nd house, Venus or 2nd house ruler dominant in past life)
💥Meeting people with sun in your 12th house reflects the person you were back in the past life. That's why you can find them either similar or you feel the energy A LOT
This can also mean that you might have had past life connections with them
💥Eris (136199) asteroid is where you feel lack of a specific aspect in your life depending on which house it lays and asteroid Sedna (90377) is betrayal from men (all depends from house to house)
💥Eris in 11th house means lack of social life, in 10th house little to no reputation, 7th house lack of partnerships (either love, coworkers, etc.)
💥Sedna in 7th house can mean betrayal from men who are your lover, coworker or smth like that, in 8th house they can betray your trust and your hidden self, in 2nd house it can mean loss of property because of them
I reccomend reading the stories about the name of those asteroids, it can make a lot of sense.
💥South node conjunct uranus can mean that the person can predict the things going on and they can be all random. It depends on house placement and aspects to those how is it performed
💥South node conjunct Neptune/SN in 12th house... That must be pain dreaming a lot about your past life or living in it still. Same for Uranus - SN, you SEE things happening
💥I don't know if i have written this before but asteroid Eros (433) conjunct personal placements in synastry can result in instant attraction
💥6th house indicates daily routine, medical problems and pets bur for now I will focus on medical problems. Having a sign in that house can indicate a problem with specific body part.
The list of body parts associated with zodiac signs will be posted soon and a lot of astrology - medicine associations will be posted
For now that's it and I hope you enjoyed this post and stay safe y'all ♥

ASTROLOGY OBSERVATIONS- 018
☆ People with Moon in the 2nd house may get thirsty really quick, or they always have water on them and are hydrated. These people might also really enjoy milk and things like milkshakes, icecream etc.
☆Moon in the 3rd/6th/9th/12th houses or Gemini/Virgo/Sagittarius/Pisces moons may have fluctuating moods. This is cause the the 3rd/6th/9th/12th houses and Gemini/Virgo/Sagittarius/Pisces are mutable (which basically means adaptive/changeable) and Moon rules ones moods and emotions.
☆ Celebrities with Mercury in the 10th house may be involved in lots of public dramas. This is cause Mercury rules controversies and the 10th house shows what you're known for. Examples: Marilyn Monroe, Johnny Depp, Chris Brown.
☆ People with Mercury in the 4th (or Gemini/ Virgo in the 4th) may be able to speak multiple languages because they have a diverse family. This is because Mercury rules different languages and dialects while the 4th house represents your family.
☆ Venus in the 3rd may like reading erotica/romantic novels. im guilty 😭✋️.
☆ Venus rules the navel, so Venus aspecting Mars or Saturn can indicate having a belly piercing. This is because Mars or Saturn can represent piercings People with this placement look good with piercings.
☆ Mercury dominants or Mercury in the 2nd house may either have 10/10 vision, or they may have needed glasses from a young age. This is cause Mercury rules sight and youth and depending on how your Mercury is aspected, it can go either way.
☆Jupiter in the 10th/6th house can mean that you want to become a doctor or work in the medical field (or you wanted to as a kid). This is cause Jupiter rules doctors/doctor's offices and the 10th/6th house shows one's career
☆Fun astrology fact: Jupiter rules growth and I found out that it also rules the pituitary gland, which is in part, responsible for the growth and maturation of the human body. Interesting.
☆Guys with Saturn in the 1st or 10th houses could look really good with a beard especially as they grow older and mature. Examples: Leo DiCaprio(10th house), Chris Evans(10th house), Adam Levine(1st house), Kevin Hart(1st house).
☆Having Uranus in the 9th house can mean that you believe in 'unconventional' things like aliens and communicatung with ancestors. This is because Uranus rules unconventional things and the 9th house represents your beliefs.
☆Neptune in the 1st/6th house can mean that you're a good dancer (or at least youve got rhythm💃) this is because the 1st/6th house represents your body and Neptune rules dancing/dancers.
☆People with Neptune in the 10th/1st house could be known for their looks, they would do well in modeling. Example: Kendall Jenner(10th house) , Gigi Hadid(10th house), Adriana Lima(1st house)
☆ Celebrities with Neptune in the 1st or 10th house tend to build their fame on their sexuality or are known for being sexy. These people can sometimes be into cosmetic surgeries and/or filters in order to keep up their brand.
~Celebrities with Neptune in the 10th house: Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Cardi B.
~Celebrities with Neptune in the 1st house: Kim Kardashian, Marilyn Monroe, Kylie Jenner. **It's interesting to see that all the Kardashian/Jenner sisters have either of these placements. 🤔💭
☆Whatever sign is in your 12th house can show how you deal with grief, as the 12th house rules grief. Examples: 👇
~Capricorn in the 12th might mean that you like to deal with it alone, and don't like talking about it. You may also hate people seeing you cry.
~Gemini in the 12th can mean that you try to keep yourself busy in order to 'forget' your loss. You may also be very vocal about your feelings, since it's a Mercury ruled sign.
~ Aries in the 12th can mean you get angry about your loss. You might also try to make yourself look strong in order to help others cope. You may be other people's 'rock'.
☆When Mercury is Retrograde in Aries or Scorpio there may be a greater chance of getting into a motor vehicle accident, or the incidences of it happening may be higher.
☆Sun in the 11th house are really kind and try to treat everybody with respect. I feel like this is the real people pleaser placement. Like even if these people don't like someone, they won't show it. Truly kind people.

Writing Reference: 5 Symbols
for your next poem/story (pt. 1)
AESCLEPIUS WAND
The Wand or Rod of Aesclepius is a symbol of the medical profession.
The symbol belongs to the Greek God of Healing whose name it bears.
Although the origins of many symbols are indeterminate, there is a theory that the Aesclepius Wand came about due to the method of removal of a certain parasite that was drawn gradually from the body by winding it around a stick.
However, the serpent is a powerful symbol of healing, despite its toxic nature.
In general, the symbol of the serpent rising up toward the top of a pole or tree is representative of matter transforming into spirit and of enlightenment.
AKWABA
This is an African fertility symbol belonging to the Ashanti tribe.
The Akwaba is a doll, usually carved of wood, which commands the same attention as a real infant.
It is dressed, washed, and even “fed” until the human child is actually born, an example of sympathetic magic believed to ensure the arrival of the true baby.
AMULET
Although it is worn on the body as a piece of jewelry, the amulet is different from “normal” jewelry in that it holds a magical significance that is peculiar to its owner or wearer.
Generally, the powers of the amulet fall into two specific categories, either to bring luck or to avert evil;
either of these qualities arguably reflect a positive or negative attitude on the part of the owner.
The talisman is effectively the same thing as an amulet although its name derives from an Arabic word meaning “magic picture.”
A charm made specifically and inscribed with the names of the spirits, the Seal of Solomon, and other mystical symbols is more likely to be referred to as a talisman.
Significant symbols for use as amulets include birthstones (or other gems according to their magical powers), astrological signs, specific symbols such as the Hand of Fatima or the cornus, and symbols specific to the religious and spiritual beliefs of the wearer, such as the cross, the star, words, names, and numbers.
Incidentally, both amulets and talismans are referred to as “charms;” the origin of this word has the same root as the Latin word for “song,” indicating the link between a magical sound and a magical intention.
ANKH
Essentially the tau cross surmounted by a loop or circle, the ankh is a prominent feature of Ancient Egyptian reliefs, artworks, and funerary paraphernalia.
Like the tau, the ankh is a letter; specifically, it is a hieroglyph meaning “life.”
The volume of meaning that can be squeezed from such a simple symbol is awe-inspiring.
The ankh represents the male and female genitalia, the Sun coming over the horizon, and the union of Heaven and Earth.
This association with the Sun means that the ankh is traditionally drawn in gold—the color of the Sun—and never in silver, which relates to the Moon.
Putting aside the complexities of these separate elements, though, what does the ankh look like?
Its resemblance to a key gives a clue to another meaning of this magical symbol.
The Egyptians believed that the Afterlife was as meaningful as the present one, and the ankh provided the key to the gates of death and what lay beyond.
Powerful symbols frequently stray across into other cultures despite their origins, and the ankh is no exception.
Because it symbolizes immortality and the Universe, it was initially borrowed by the 4th century Coptic Christians who used it as a symbol to reinforce Christ’s message that there is life after death.
The ankh is used by the Rosicrucians too.
Even though its actual invention is shrouded in thousands of years of mystery, the ankh symbol can be bought in any high street jewelry store anywhere in the world.
ARROW
Symbol of flight, penetration, and direction.
As a weapon, the arrow is a symbol of the power of the person who carries it, along with the bow.
As a sacred symbol, it is the attribute of the Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis/Diana, as well as of Eros, who uses his arrows to pierce the people’s hearts with love.
The arrow also serves as a phallic symbol and an emblem of masculine power.
The symbol of the heart pierced with an arrow, popular on Valentine’s Day cards, is a covert symbol of sexual union.
As a symbol of direction, it works on a physical level and a metaphorical level.
The arrow that shoots high up into the sky is an emblem of the link between Earth and Heaven, a symbol of an idea, or of a message being carried directly to the Gods.
The arrow is used, too, as an analogy for swiftness and sureness, since the arrow travels in the direction in which it is shot.
The astrological sign of Sagittarius, the hybrid creature that is always depicted in the process of shooting an arrow from his bow, has a Latin root, sagitta; this means “arrow” and is derived from a verb, sagire, that means “to perceive keenly or quickly.”
Therefore, the arrow is symbolic of quick-wittedness and intuition.
Arrows were used by the ancient Arabians, Chaldeans, Greeks, and Tibetans in a form of divination called Belomancy:
This was practiced by shooting arrows in the air and reading a meaning from the direction of the arrows or their positions in relation to each other.
For example, crossed or touching arrows meant “no.”
Later, the arrows had words written on them to make any answers even more definitive.

NARA CHAKRA: Your body is the map to your universe.
I am NOT a healthcare provider or professional and this post is just for sharing astrological knowledge. It should not be used as medical knowledge or suggestion! If you have health concerns or issues please consult your medical professional.
Your inner realm is the subconscious part of your personal universe, your body is the external manifestation of that internal world. Nara Chakra is a roadmap, if you will, of the nakshatras that rule your body. It all starts with the head, which is your moon nakshatra, then the next nakshatra is your forehead, then eyebrows is the next nakshatra, then eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, ears, face and so forth. Each of your body parts is ruled by a specific nakshatra. Because of this your full incarnated karma is fully realized in your physical body. You can learn which parts of your body are or may be affected as certain planetary transits occur, especially with effects to your mars or ascendant nakshatras. You will most likely see some significance to that related body part if it is effected by a transit. An example would be, your moon is in Mrigashira, so Mrigashira rules your head, suddenly you begin getting head aches and having strange forgetfulness or confusion. You look at your personal planetary transits and see that your moon is conjunct sun in Mrigashira. This would make sense as sun rules the head and can cause ailments to the head. Especially with your personal planets, the effects can vary!
Nara Chakra can also show you the possible ailments or sicknesses you’re most prone to. Having mars in certain nakshatras can bring inflammation, having moon in certain planetary body parts can cause anxiety and blood related issues, venus can cause viral infections through the fluids or orifaces, etc. each planet can effect your body in some way if it is harshly aspected or considering your mahadasha at the time as well.
To understand your Nara Chakra best is to really study where each planet and nakshatra falls on your body. And if you see any illness arrive or possible issues you should m first: go to your health care provider (that should be the first priority) and then to learn the effects of the planet on your personal nakshatras.
Here is an example of how the nakshatras fall with your moon nakshatra as the head and so on.

Apparently being a regular teenager is a disorder requiring medical treatment and the removal of body parts. Not only are you "trans" if you don't fit a 1950s Barbie/G.I. Joe stereotype, you're "trans" if you don't fit a 1950s "golly, gee" soda shoppe "Leave It To Beaver" stereotype.
This is the same tactic psychics use to tell you your fortune, and astrologers use to convince you that distant stars reflect your personality. It's called the Forer Effect, or Barnum Effect.
To really drive home the cult programming, any time you're feeling better, that's how you know you've gotten worse.
For political and ideological reasons - for example, one presenter actually claims that children are being "misdiagnosed" as autistic when they're actually trans - they've flipped the symptom and the cause.
This is more accurate:

Okay imagine Solomon being upset and jealous that MC doesn’t have a mark of his own on their body, MC notices this fact and gets the mark of Solomon tattooed onto their body. I’ve been so obsessed with this idea ever sense Solomon became my no.1 favorite character ever.
Ooh, yes, I've seen this floating around as well!
Solomon would be pleased on the outside, absolutely thrilled on the inside. I think having his own mark would satiate that jealousy, because now having his own mark on your body shows the world that you have a strong bond of trust and care. Just as you do with the brothers, if not more so.
I know many people have different headcanons about where each of the brothers' marks are on their MC's body, which usually have some sort of meaning. I suppose it's up to preference where you'd want to be permanently tattooed, but what if you got it in an area that was special to both of you?
Trying to be as inclusive as I can to everybody's headcanons of the brothers' marks, so take these with a grain of salt or come up with your own! :)
Perhaps Solomon has disclosed with you a certain part of your body that he just adores, an area he often touches in moments when it's just the two of you. Rubbing your knuckles or kissing the back of your hand when watching movies together, caressing the small of your back while you read over a passage from one of his spell books, right behind your ear where he rubs soft circles as you drift off to sleep in his bed, or brushing his lips against your shoulder as he holds you from behind while you make dinner.
Getting his mark in an area he dotes over, one that he never fails to touch or lavish with kisses in those near ritualistic moments, would be the ultimate gesture. Because for him, it would be an indication that the small things he does in the time he is granted with you mean something to you. They're special to you too.
That's the fluffy, sentimental version. Now I kinda want to explore the logistical or rational placing of his mark.
I was looking at the seal of Solomon, and noticed two things: the symbol for Saturn (the one that looks like an awkwardly drawn n) and the symbol for Mars (which interestingly enough, the Mars symbol seems to have the Sun's symbol in it as well. Mars is the "male" symbol, while the Sun is a circle with a dot in the center).
For quick reference, Saturn rules both Capricorn and Aquarius in traditional astrology - representing structure and discipline. Mars rules both Aries and Scorpio in traditional - representing drive and passion. And I'll go ahead and do the Sun's as well, it rules Leo - representing the ego.
Now, I mention this for one reason: medical astrology. Each part of the body (and its systems within) are ruled by a sign (quick fire examples: Capricorn - knees, Aquarius - calves, Aries - head, Scorpio - lower regions, Leo - spine). So, how impressed would he be if he realized you'd tattooed his mark in one of those areas? Just what he'd expect of his clever apprentice! (Even better if you got it on the left side of your body, as the left represents wisdom! Right is power, in case you wanted to know :)).
Perhaps by doing so, you invoke one of the qualities of those aforementioned planet rulings, like you find yourself being more responsible with the mark on your ankle or the back of your knee, maybe you're more authentic with it at the top of your spine, or more aggressive in your pursuits with it on your naval or behind your ear.
I think he'd be fascinated, and oddly flattered, that his mark influences you in a such way. Like he's indirectly influencing you. It'd be similar to how the brothers' sins on your body might make you act certain ways, like more greedy or more gluttonous.
Yeah, he'd be smitten with you and that mark wherever you end up putting it. Whatever makes you happy, as long as he has a little claim of you as well. Perhaps he'd create a mark that represents you to tattoo on his body... If there's room, ha!
#whoa! sorry i rambled#i'm unfamiliar with the actual meanings of those symbols in regards to the seal so maybe it has nothing to do with astrology#if so then please ignore my ramblings :)#this was super fun to think about though i love analyzing things with astrology lol#obey me#obey me solomon#jo’s thoughts#blood moon mail

Houses in traditional astrology.
Instead of making separate posts for each house, I thought it’d be more judicious & practical to compile everything into one singular post for concision’s sake.
Some necessary contextualization before we get to the point:
— Most houses don’t represent personality traits or characteristics. They represent experiences & areas of your life. Your self in the more rudimentary sense of the term is the 1st house. Other houses can be other people, places, or experiences.
— The ascendant/1st house is you, not a “mask”, your “basic self”, a “facade” or a “superficial persona” it’s for the major part everything modern astrology believes the sun to be.
— The ascendant/1H representing you does not mean other placements cannot be relevant or resonant (as explained here), that’s an oversimplification and nothing in life is ever that simple. All elements in a chart matter, but to believe everything is a “me” indicators is far too reductive. This is especially relevant wrt appearance. While the 1H has higher than average chances of coming through when it comes to the visual aspect, there are other things that come into play — namely genetics, the Moon, the 2nd house, the IC, & the Ascendant Lord.
— There are 12 houses and 7 traditional planets. You will most certainly have empty houses — though inactive they are not. Even if there are no planets in a house, there will always be a planet ruling it and its themes will still hold significance to you & your life experiences, there just won’t be as much focus on them as there would be with houses containing planets.
— Signs don’t “naturally” rule houses. Aries does NOT signify the 1H unless you’re an Aries rising. In fact, “rulership” is something only planets can do. Not signs, not houses, just planets! The signs are a celestial system that shows HOW a planet’s energy expresses itself, whereas houses are a terrestial system that shows WHERE that energy is expressed (areas of life). You can read ABC house system debunks online, or wait for me to write one!

Western Astrology
Western Astrology refers to a form of divination based on the motion of astronomical objects such as stars or planets. The belief that astronomical objects are divine or influence events on Earth is found in many cultures, but the practices grouped under the umbrella of 'Western astrology' have their origins in the Near East and ancient Mediterranean.
In antiquity and the Middle Ages, there was virtually no distinction between astronomy, which is the study of objects in outer space, and astrology, which is the superstition that these objects can influence events on Earth. The belief that celestial bodies could exert control over events on Earth was one of the driving motivations behind their study in the past. During the Renaissance, astrology was treated as both a scientific and spiritual pursuit, albeit one that attracted scholarly criticism.
By inspiring astronomical inquiry, astrology ultimately helped birth the scientific innovations that disproved its validity. Advances in natural science and our understanding of the solar system during the 18th century led to the debunking of astrology and its accompanying beliefs. This shift in scientific thought created a clear distinction between the science of astronomy and the pseudoscience of astrology. However, popular belief in astrology persists into the modern period.
Ancient Babylon & Greece
Hellenistic astrology traces its roots to Babylon, where astronomers were interpreting astronomical phenomena as omens by the 1st millennium BCE. The Babylonians would later begin practicing natal astrology to try to predict events in a person's life based on the position of the stars and planets at the time of their birth. Ancient Greek authors claimed that astrology was introduced to Greece by a Babylonian priest named Berossus, who moved to the Greek island of Kos and established a school of astronomy and astrology around 280 BCE. This story may contain a kernel of truth, as the conquest of Persia by Alexander the Great (r. 336-323 BCE) in the 4th century BCE led to the transfer of ideas between Greece and the Near East. However, Hellenistic astrology was most heavily influenced by Greek philosophy, ultimately containing only faint traces of Babylonian cosmology.
The zodiac and astrological system used in Western astrology began to take on a recognizable form during the Hellenistic period (332-30 BCE). Natural philosophers reasoned that the stars and planets could influence Earth in the same way that the Sun affected life and the Moon moved the tides. People in the Hellenistic Mediterranean commonly consulted astrologers hoping that they could predict the future, reveal hidden information, and recover lost or stolen items.
Astrology was also incorporated into ancient Greek medicine and Greek philosophy, as it was theorized that the planets had both physical and metaphysical impacts. The belief that certain planets held power over specific body parts, and that it was possible to predict the best timing for medical treatment based on planetary positions, influenced Western medical thought until the early modern period.

Medical astrology
This article draws inspiration and is based on information found in two notable books: "Complete Practical Astrology" by Edward Lyndoe, published in 1938, and "Complete Herbal" by Nicholas Culpeper, dating back to 1652. It's not uncommon for individuals with a stellium in a specific zodiac sign to experience health issues associated with that sign more prominently compared to those with just one planet in that sign. The concentration of planetary energy in one sign can intensify the characteristics and tendencies associated with it, including health-related aspects.
The history behind it
In early-modern Europe, people held a deep fascination with the connection between celestial bodies and our well-being. This belief traced back to ancient notions of the Four Elements and the Four Humors, forming the basis of humoral theory in medicine. Originating with Hippocrates and evolving through Galen, this theory centered on balancing bodily fluids: blood, phlegm, black bile, and yellow bile. Men were seen as hot and dry, while women were considered cold and wet. Dietary choices and flavors were believed to influence humor balance.
These ancient ideas were intricately linked to Zodiac signs, seasons, cardinal directions, qualities, temperaments, and life stages. People believed that our health relied on maintaining a delicate equilibrium among these factors, shaping a complex system that demanded precise language to explain.
As interest in astrology grew in the 16th century, printed books, such as "Planetary Books" and "Folk Calendars," became popular sources of knowledge. These texts provided valuable insights, bridging the gap between celestial and earthly realms. They aimed to empower readers with wisdom about their place in the universe.
Aries: rules over the head, face, eyes, and the brain's cognitive functions, influencing the distribution of both mental and physical energy. This sign is associated with health concerns like headaches, fevers, neuralgia, eye issues, skin eruptions, inflammations, wounds, and accidents. Individuals born under Aries may have an abundance of energy, often exceeding their mental and emotional balance. Many health issues can be traced back to factors such as excessive physical exertion or bouts of intense anger. It's advisable for Aries individuals to prioritize maintaining a sense of balance and inner poise to promote their overall well-being.
Taurus: you should know that your sign is linked to certain areas of your body like the neck, ears, throat, larynx, and tonsils. These body parts might need a little extra care. Your sign is also associated with your ability to recover from health issues. However, it's important to be mindful of diseases that can specifically affect your throat. One thing to keep in mind is that Taurus individuals often have a love for indulgence and comfort, which can sometimes lead to health challenges. Additionally, your tendency to dwell on problems might make you more sensitive to minor health issues. So, remember to strike a balance and take good care of your well-being.
Gemini: For those born under the sign of Gemini, certain areas of the body require attention. Gemini influences the arms, shoulders, muscles, and bones, as well as the respiratory system, including the trachea and bronchi, and even the hands. People with this sign may be more prone to health issues like bronchial complaints, lung conditions such as pneumonia and pleurisy, nerve-related diseases, asthma, and anemia. These health challenges can often be traced back to nervous reactions and restlessness, which are characteristic of Gemini individuals.
Cancer: you have an influence on various parts of the body, including the stomach, breasts, solar plexus, diaphragm, and the upper portion of the liver. These areas are closely tied to matters of nutrition and digestion. Health issues that commonly afflict those born under Cancer often originate from emotional factors, triggered by mental irritants. These emotional disturbances can lead to nervous reactions and a general decrease in vitality. Interestingly, it's been suggested that more often than not, the health of a Cancerian is affected by external factors and the actions of others rather than self-inflicted harm. So, it's important for Cancer individuals to prioritize their emotional well-being and maintain a harmonious environment to support their overall health.
Leo: you have a special connection with the heart, spine, and vital forces carried by the blood. This makes you particularly susceptible to issues like heart troubles and poor circulation. Remember, many of these health challenges can be linked to overexertion or pushing yourself too hard. So, take good care of your energy levels and avoid unnecessary strain to keep your health in top shape.
Virgo: you have a unique connection with your own digestive system, which encompasses your intestines, alimentary canal, and the lower part of your liver. However, it's essential to recognize that individuals born under this sign might also be more prone to experiencing digestive issues and complaints, especially concerning the intestines. For you, these digestive troubles could occasionally stem from nervous causes, potentially leading to discomforts like acidity and other digestive challenges. It's a part of your unique astrological makeup, emphasizing the importance of taking extra care of your digestive well-being and managing any stress or anxiety that might contribute to these issues.
Libra: you are associated with specific areas of the body, including the kidneys, loins, appendix, lumbar vertebrae, and the skin. These are related to the body's liquid processes. Health challenges that often affect Virgos include kidney problems and issues related to the spine. These troubles are frequently linked to nervous exhaustion. To maintain your well-being, it's crucial for Virgos to manage stress and avoid situations that lead to nervous strain.
Scorpio: your zodiac sign governs several vital areas of the body, including the organs of reproduction, bladder, gallbladder, colon, and rectum. These parts are closely tied to procreation and reproduction. Health issues frequently associated with Scorpios involve the organs mentioned earlier. Problems may arise due to excessive worrying and the influence of others on the individual, which can break down resistance. To maintain good health, it's important for Scorpios to find ways to manage stress and emotional pressures effectively.
Sagittarius: you have a connection to certain body areas like the hips, thighs, and sciatic nerves. These parts are linked to your senses and how you perceive illnesses through your nerves. Health issues that Sagittarians often face include conditions like gout, rheumatism, and sciatica, as well as accidents. Restlessness can be a contributing factor to these problems, and individuals under this sign may have a propensity for accidents and injuries. Therefore, it's essential for Sagittarians to cultivate a sense of caution and mindfulness to prevent such mishaps and maintain their well-being.
Capricorn: you have an influence on the knees, joints, and hair. These are connected to processes related to preservation and conserving energy. Health issues commonly associated with Capricorns include skin complaints and diseases affecting the parts of the body influenced by this sign. Such ailments often have their origins in inhibitions. Therefore, it's important for Capricorns to focus on finding a balance between preserving energy and addressing any emotional or mental inhibitions that may impact their well-being.
Aquarius: your influence goes to the lower legs (calves and ankles), teeth, and blood circulation. These areas are interconnected with the body's circulation and eliminative processes. Health issues often associated with Aquarians include accidents affecting the ankles, as well as complaints related to this part of the body. Conditions such as varicose veins, blood poisoning, and certain nervous diseases may also be relevant. Many of these health challenges may have nervous causes, often tied to the highly sensitive nature of those born under the Aquarius sign. Therefore, maintaining emotional balance and managing stress is crucial for overall well-being.
Pisces your zodiac sign influences specific areas of the body, including the feet and toes. These are related to perspiration and the lymphatic processes within the body. Health challenges often associated with Pisceans include conditions like influenza, colds, and diseases accompanied by mucous discharges. Many of these complaints may have their origins in an overactive or overheated mind, possibly with perceived injuries from others. Additionally, individuals born under the Pisces sign tend to exhibit a high level of physical and mental sensitivity, which can contribute to various health issues. Therefore, it's important for Pisceans to manage stress, maintain emotional balance, and address any perceived injuries to promote overall well-being.

Ya'll are missing out on Medical astrology by Judith Hill. You know how every body part is associated with a star sign and if a certain planet is in a particular house it can cause health problems? Well now you do. Which mean if you know your stars, you can make better healing spells/curses.
Even though I don't do curses anymore, let's say you want to make a cartoonishly evil wizard with a cobra collared cloak have explosive diarrhea so he'd shit himself and ruin his clothes.
Scorpio is associated with the colon, rectum, prostate, bladder, genitalia, cervix and glandular portion of uterus along the neck of the womb, sweat glands, nose, pelvus, sacrum and coccyx.
One of the many effects of Mars in Scorpio is chronic diarrhea. I've also been skimming through picatrix so the moon is also important. Picatrix says to keep the moon away from the Sun,Mars and Saturn unless you're doing Malevolent magic. Not sure how to keep it from the sun tbh but that's another thing to figure out.
Anyway the sun goes into Scorpio from October 23 to November 21. The moon goes into Scorpio on October 4,5 and 6 for a short while before moving on to another sign. The moon in Scorpio can also cause diarrhea, leaky gut syndrome and overactive colon. Mars goes into Scorpio from Oct 12 to November 23.
So in theory if I do my signs right, if I grab my red candle and make a planetary sign of the moon on October 5 at 7:00, make another of Mars on October 29 at 8:00 and light both planetary incenses to inject planet spirits into it, I can make an evil cobra collared wizard shit himself like a 5 year old on Halloween ruining his Doctor Strange Costume after he sees one of those electronic skeleton decorations.

Philosophers & Astrology
Marsilio Ficino (1433-1499): Ficino, an Italian scholar during the Renaissance, was deeply involved in the revival of Neoplatonism. He translated several key works of ancient philosophy, including those of Plato and Plotinus.
