The Power of Medical Animated Explainer Videos: How SB Animation Brings Complex Concepts to Life
In the fast-paced world of healthcare, clear communication is essential. Whether you are explaining a medical procedure, a treatment plan, or a new health product, conveying complex information in a way that is both engaging and easy to understand can be challenging. This is where medical animated explainer videos come into play. At SB Animation, we specialize in creating high-quality animated explainer videos tailored specifically to the medical field, helping professionals, organizations, and businesses effectively communicate important health information to their audiences.
Simplifying Complex Medical Concepts
Medical topics can be difficult for patients, clients, and even healthcare professionals to fully understand due to their technical nature. Medical animated explainer videos are an excellent tool for simplifying these complex concepts. By using animation, we can visually break down intricate processes like the functioning of the human body, the mechanism of disease, or the steps involved in a surgical procedure. These animations help turn complex information into clear, digestible content that is accessible to everyone, regardless of their medical knowledge.
Engaging and Memorable Visuals
Humans are naturally drawn to visuals, which is why medical animated explainer videos are such an effective way to capture attention and retain information. SB Animation creates vibrant, eye-catching animations that not only convey medical knowledge but also engage the viewer. Whether it’s a 2D or 3D animation, the visuals can make the content much more memorable compared to text-heavy brochures or static diagrams.
Boosting Patient Education and Compliance
One of the primary uses of medical animated explainer videos is patient education. Patients often have difficulty understanding their diagnosis, treatment options, or post-surgery care instructions. Medical animations make it easier for patients to visualize what is happening inside their bodies and how a specific treatment will help them recover. By using clear, approachable animations, SB Animation can help patients feel more informed and confident in their healthcare decisions.
Effective for Marketing and Brand Awareness
Medical animated explainer videos are also incredibly useful for healthcare marketing and brand awareness. Whether you're a pharmaceutical company, a medical device manufacturer, or a healthcare provider, animations can be used to highlight the benefits of your products or services in a compelling and memorable way. These videos can be shared across websites, social media, or presentations to reach a wide audience and enhance your marketing efforts.
Streamlining Communication between Healthcare Professionals
In addition to patient education, medical animated explainer videos can also facilitate communication among healthcare professionals. Complex medical procedures or advanced treatments can be better understood through visual storytelling, making it easier for doctors, nurses, and medical staff to explain concepts to one another, especially when working in multidisciplinary teams. Animated videos can serve as useful training tools, offering clear, concise explanations of medical protocols and procedures that can be reviewed by staff at their convenience.

The Benefits of Explainer Videos for the Healthcare Industry
In the rapidly changing healthcare industry, effective communication is the key to engaging, educating, and making patients understand. The health sector has seen a new powerful tool in explainer videos, which have been used to explain complicated concepts, market services, and facilitate communication between the patient and the provider. For us, being one of the Best Animation Studios, we feel that integration of explainer videos in healthcare organizations will be of great value.
1. Simplifying Complex Information
Healthcare is replete with jargon and long procedures that leave the patients baffled. An explainer video makes things clear through graphics and simple words, which allows the patient to understand more about his or her diagnosis, possible treatments, and procedures carried out on him or her. It will help break down these complex concepts and allow the healthcare providers to better facilitate patients' comprehension and ease stress.
Example: A short animated video explaining a surgical procedure can alleviate patient fears and provide clarity about what to expect before, during, and after the operation.
2. Enhancing Patient Engagement
Engaging the patients in their improvement journey is crucial for favorable outcomes. A video explainer may even be of interest to more people than any ordinary pamphlet or leaflet. Animation and storytelling in videos make patients hear and remember better, making them more involved in care.
Example: A video that shares patient testimonials and success stories can motivate others to seek treatment, fostering a sense of community and support.
3. Boosting Marketing Efforts
Marketing is important for attracting more patients and sustaining the existing flow of patients for a healthcare organization. Explainer videos will be shared across the sites, social media, or even during the onboarding process of the patient. Videos that display services, expertise, or the philosophy about patient care are effective marketing tools.
Example: A promotional video showcasing a new health service or technology can attract potential patients while educating them about the benefits.
4. Improving Training and Education
Explainer videos not only benefit patients but are also a great tool for training staff. Visual aids enhance the learning experience for healthcare professionals, and thus organizations can use these explainer videos to train healthcare professionals on new equipment, procedures, or compliance guidelines.
Example: A training video demonstrating the proper use of a medical device can improve staff competency and reduce errors.
5. Accessibility and Convenience
The explainer videos are available at all times, anywhere. It is an easy resource for patients, they can replay the video as many times as needed to ensure they understand what is happening to their health and treatment plan.
Example: Patients can watch instructional videos on managing chronic conditions from the comfort of their homes, empowering them to take control of their health.
Conclusion
Explainer videos are extremely important for the healthcare sector, considering their ability to clarify, engage, and aid patients as well as healthcare professionals. Being one of the Best Animation Studios, we know that what's needed is exceptional production and storytelling that gives impact to the videos in resonance with the target audiences.

*Angrily looks around* ok so we're not writing more werewolf Valeria???? Fucking fine I'll do it myself
En Sus Marcus Part 1/?
Part 2
Summary: Valeria hunts you through the woods, fucks the shit out of you. Congratulations you won and you're her pet housewife now <3
2nd person omniscient, black reader, she/her pronouns, no use of y/n, no actual smut in this chapter but still sexy as fuck, kinda dubcon, but reader's DEF into it, bimbo reader, reader's dumb as shit y'all. That being said I could see myself doing similar, dom Valeria, sub reader, predator/prey dynamic, fucky and inaccurate Spanish (corrections greatly appreciated)
This is self indulgent trash and I the humble outdoor cat feasting on the week old chicken wings inside it.
🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙🌙
It was stupid to be out in the forest this late, you knew how stupid it was to be in the forest this late.
You were exhausted. Your boss had worked you to the bone for the last three fucking years and still had the nerve to complain when you used your pto for a single week off to enjoy Halloween—your least busy week of the year—by yourself in a cozy little cabin in the woods.
But you were also stupid. So stupid. And so scared. Your first day in you nearly gave yourself carbon monoxide poisoning when you forgot to open the fireplace hatch. Your second day, you'd left the gas on for an hour and set the smoke alarm off for the second time in three days, and now, your third day in, you saw what looked like a limping dog outside, in the pitch black darkness and your dumbass decided to follow it?
You were cursing yourself out the entire time. Horror movie rule number one was without fail, the black guy dies first. And here you were waltzing into the woods after a random animal that you full well could've hallucinated.
But you didn't. You know you didn't. And while that dog was huge, if it was willing to come that close to the house it had to have been someone's pet. Even if it was a wolf dog or something it was obvious it had been abandoned. You weren't a vet, but it seemed way too alert and aware of how you stood by the door. You'd seen YouTube videos of how animals with rabies acted. They were haunting, but the dog didn't move like that. Aside from a slight limp its head still darted in your direction when it spotted you peeking out the giant glass door into the backyard. Its tongue lolled out of its mouth when it heard you call after it for godsake.
You couldn't explain why or how, and you hoped it wouldn't attack you because explaining why you left the house to medical professionals would make you feel like the biggest wet noodle known to man, but it looked like it wanted you to come closer. So you did.
You walked towards it slowly, making sure to avoid eye contact and making yourself look too big or too small, trying to remember the "if it's black fight back, if it's brown get down" rule and whether or not that only applied to bears. You managed to close enough distance between the two of you that you could shine your phone's weak flashlight on the creature to check if there was any blood on it.
Thankfully there wasn't, not so thankfully it got up, and calmly walked further into the woods, turning its head back every few steps to stare at you pathetically.
At this point, maybe if you hadn't finished half a bottle of pink moscato, you would've recognized that it was probably just politely asking you to back off. In the way an animal does when it does not want to fight. But sadly, you had. And the wolf wasn't staring at you like it was trying to avoid a fight, It was staring at you like how dogs stare at people in those probably faked rescue videos where they lead the cameraman to a den full of newborn puppies.
You didn't know what was wrong with this animal but you knew you wouldn't be able to sleep at night if you didn't make sure. And you didn't know that there were multiple hotlines in the area you could call instead of risking both of your lives.
It kept looking back at you, tail flat between its legs, ears pinned back, what could only be considered a giant dopey looking smile on its face as you trailed behind it for long enough that your feet started to hurt despite the hiking boots you'd thrown on before leaving the house.
You were freezing sadly because it was the sole practical element of your outfit.
You were in a lacy pink silk nightie that stopped just at your thigh. Thick brown thighs jiggling a little with each step. If you'd bent over, the wolf could've gotten a nice and pleasant view of your pussy peaking out from underneath the fabric cause you never went to bed with panties on. You could've run to pick some up but you didn't want to chance that the animal would be gone by the time you got back with no proof of if it even existed.
Your phone battery was low. Not dangerously so, but enough that it made you really stupid for going out without your little pink portable charger.
But it was such a stupid spontaneous decision. One you'd spend the rest of your life paying for.
You froze when the wolf darted out of sight suddenly. So fast you didn't have time to point your light towards the direction it ran, it was gone before your eyes had caught up to your ears and processed the rustling of leaves trailing off into the distance.
And now you were painfully aware of the fact that you were alone in the woods. And you had no idea how far you'd gone off the path. And that even if it had stayed, the injured animal probably couldn't offer you much help against a bear, or worse, a man with a gun.
You started shivering, the crisp fall air was delightful in the early mornings, but the sun set at 5pm that day and it was in the high forties now. You weren't even wearing a little sweater to keep your arms warm.
Valeria noticed.
She hadn't actually been injured. She wasn't even limping believe it or not, you just weren't wearing your glasses and couldn't tell that she was walking normally. Let alone that she was much much bigger than a wolf dog.
You smelled divine with your pumpkin spice body oil and the cheap wine clinging to your lips.
Valeria was here for fun too. She owned these woods. And everything in them. She was stunned that you hadn't noticed how deadly silent your romantic evening walk had been. There were so many signs this was a trap.
It wasn't at first, of course. She rented the cabin out. She liked to see who stayed in her home away from home when she wasn't there. What they smelled like. Tasted like. If they looked fun to hunt. But then there you were. Standing outside in your pretty pink dress, her favorite color glowing against your skin and making you look like a goddess underneath the light of the moon. Normally she'd have left you alone. She'd always had a soft spot for pretty girls. But you looked and smelled so divine she just had to get closer. And closer. And closer.
She realized you'd spotted her the moment she realized you were her mate.
She could've shat herself she was so scared. The elation from finding her mate and complete dread at the fact that you were so gullible consumed her with every step you took further into the forest.
She'd have to teach you a lesson.
With all the spoiling she was gonna do to you, you'd probably get bratty. She'd have to teach you many more. She wasn't complaining.
But for now, you needed to learn why you don't follow strange animals into the woods.
And you needed to learn that you were hers. Quickly.
You looked around erratically. On the verge of tears. She could hear your little heartbeat racing.
That's when she decided to shift back.
"Excuse me, are you alright?" She nearly convinced herself she meant it.
You jolted around and immediately started bawling. She wrapped her arms around you, pressing you to her bare chest.
"Hey, it's alright. Can you tell me what happened, princesa?
You nodded, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I've just been so stressed at work and there was this dog—I think it was a wolf dog, and she's hurt and she's definitely someone's pet and she looked like she was leading me to her puppies and I got worried cause if she was willing to lead me there, that means she'd be willing to lead someone dangerous there, so I followed her and we went too deep into the woods and I'm on vacation, I don't know these woods, I'm from L.A.!"
She nodded along, trying to hold back her laughter.
"Pobrecita. You just need someone to protect you, huh?"
You froze. Suddenly and painfully aware of the fact that your head was pressed directly into the bare tits of another woman. You were far from displeased and it wasn't the first time, but still, why in the flying fuck would there be a woman in the woods even more naked than you were?
"Um, ma'am, why are you naked?"
She tossed her head back laughing.
"Ay, que rico, la niña que no lleva nada más que su lencería quiere saber por qué estoy desnuda."
You were kicking yourself mentally at the fact that you hadn't been more serious about learning Spanish all these years. That little green owl was going to kill you if this weird ass woman didn't do the job for him.
"I'm sorry?" Was all you said instead, trying to make your way out of her embrace.
It didn't work. She did let you wiggle around enough that you could crane your neck to look up at her, however, and by god were you grateful. Big pretty brown eyes, hair the perfect length to tug on while she ate you out, an aquiline nose. And the most beautiful, wolfish smile you could ever imagine.
She was the kind of woman that'd make you leave a room just to avoid embarrassing yourself in front of her.
You immediately felt guilty for sexualizing her despite the fact that she was naked and had pressed your face into her tits two seconds ago.
"Shit, you're not doing so hot either, huh? Do you wanna go back to where I'm staying and get some hot chocolate, maybe a shower? Alone! Of course! I can call anyone if you need help too! Oh wait I forgot I had my phone! I can just call the sheriff or something—" she grabbed your phone out of your hands and threw it off into the woods.
You were silent for an embarrassingly long time.
"What the fuck dude." You said it so quietly and calmly Valeria couldn't help but laugh.
"Don't worry. I'll remember where it went in the morning."
You tried with a lot more fervor to put yourself far out of arms reach from the woman, failing every time. She didn't even have to exert a large amount of strength to pin you to her. You didn't let it stop you, but you knew, you wouldn't be moving unless she let you.
She let her long, sharp—sharper than they should be, you had a fresh set of stilettos, they were not that sharp—nails graze your skin just slightly. A warning. You weren't dumb enough to miss that.
"Stop. Moving." Something was wrong. She growled at you. You'd been growled at before in bed by exes, they didn't sound like that. She sounded like she was barely able to form the words. Like she was twisting her vocal cords around to make sense of the random sounds and syncopations that just so happened to make your little pussy drool.
"Here's what's going to happen, princesa. I'm going to give you..." she leaned in to sniff at your bonnet, shivering and pressing her mouth to your forehead, letting out a moan as her hand snaked down your waist to rub at your ass, just above where your nightgown had already ridden up more than dangerously high. "Ten seconds."
"...Ten seconds to what?"
You could feel her grin grow unnaturally wide against you.
"To run."
This time you shivered. This poor woman was crazy and in need of help and here you were getting off to her delusions. What a creep.
"And then when I catch you, I'm going to breed that wet little pussy. I'm going to take you home. And I'm going to fill you up some more, sólo para asegurarme de que funciona."
You were having a hard time breathing. Her voice was so low and even. Her fingers danced at the hem of your dress and as awful as it was you didn't even want to run. You wanted her to snake her fingers just a bit lower and breed you here. You needed her fingers, her cock, her mouth, whatever she'd give you. You could feel your own cum pooling down your thighs which had literally never happened to you before. She was causing chemical reactions in your body you weren't sure had been previously seen within the human race.
She huffed, smiling a bit.
"Oh! Someone's excited."
You whimpered a bit, at the sensation of her claws digging into the fat of your ass.
"Let's get something straight, princesa. If you don't run properly," she pressed you even closer to her, "if you don't make the chase fun," she trailed her nose down the side of your face, pressing you impossibly close. Her grip so tight it was starting to actually hurt, "then I'll kill you."
You laughed a little bit, or tried to. Wheezed would be more accurate.
"Oh, I'm not kidding. Tengo que demostrar que serás una buena compañera, nena. Que te aseguraras de que tus hijas sean fuertes."
Valeria was of course, lying. But you didn't know that. You didn't know that she'd make sure your kids would grow up nice and strong and much much smarter than their ditsy mother was the day they first met.
"You ready, coñejita?" Her grip loosened slightly, and you immediately took your chance to bite her on the neck. Hard. Hoping she'd let go completely and you'd be able to run back to your cabin and use the ancient house phone before she cut the lines or something.
She didn't though, she just frowned. But you could see the edges of her lips fighting to twitch up into her normal Cheshire grin.
"I didn't say it was time to start running, coñejita."
She grabbed your jaw and tilted your head to the side, trailing her sharp teeth down your neck. You felt like they were cutting skin but her hot breath soothed the ache the second it started.
"En su marca."
She grabbed your ass so hard you could feel the chill night air on your dripping cunt.
"Lista."
She pressed a kiss to your neck with a gentleness you wouldn't have guessed she'd be capable of.
"Fuera."
You knew what it meant but she still didn't let go. She wanted you to feel it through your body when the chase had really begun.
She whispered into you ear, teasingly. Joyfully. An excited impatience emanating from her voice.
"Run."

OK OK OK OK OK people talk about sniper, or pyro, or medic being autistic right?
B u t
What if I told you all of them are?
Every single one.
Engineer? He's autistic. Soldier? Autistic. Frickin Spy?? Omgsh he's so autistic
So because my brain won't stop itching about this I'm going to write up a collection of all the evidence I have for why the TF2 mercenaries possess within their beings the big tism. By the time this is over y'all are going to be very sick of the word autism.
But IDC
So without further ado, let's go through each of these silly mercs one at a time:
Scout:
Alright, first up we got Scout. Scout I would consider to be AuDHD for multiple reasons
The ADHD is more obvious but like dude trust me he's autistic too
He's hyperactive, forgetful, gets distracted easily, kind of the basic stereotypical ADHD stuff you would notice immediately. He stims, he fidgets, he struggles in social situations, he's seen as over the top and a bit annoying, he talks a lot
Now a lot of these traits are things that are common for both autistics and adhders. But I wanna point out some things I notice about him that are autism specific
He has a special interest: It's Tom Jones. Honestly he probably has a special interest about baseball too
But I mean c'mon he's literally has a Tom Jones tattoo
You could argue this is just a hyperfixation but I bet it's been going on for a while
He also has "spikey" skills. Really good at stuff like drawing, dancing, sports, but he sucks at things like reading, math, etc
Mostly what makes me see him as autistic it's how he struggles in social situations. Bro doesn't know how to flirt unless he's got a bucket of chicken on hand
Soldier:
Honestly if anyone's autistic coded it's soldier
Special interest is all things American, especially if it relates to the military
Lots of autistic people wear certain items that remind them of something they like, usually disregarding things like how it looks or even whether or not it's comfortable. Soldier's helmet is way too big for him but he's almost always wearing it anyway
In meet the spy he does "hut hut hut" when he's doing down the stairs and it makes me so happy
He has no filter, he takes things really literally, he often sees suggestions as orders (teleporting bread anyone?)
Also when he says he's been doing nothing but teleport bread for 3 days it makes me think he must've been hyperfocused on that
I don't think he knows anything about volume control since he's yelling everything
What kind of neurotypical fights bears in Siberia while naked and covered in honey
He speaks his mind rather than beating around the bush
His helmet could also double as helping him avoid eye contact
Pyro:
Tell me they don't have aversion to like every texture besides their suit you can't
A lot of their animations are super stimmy
Pretty much nonspeaking
Has childish interests
Could also have schizophrenia? (I'm relatively uninformed about it tho so I might not be a good person to judge)
I bet half of their little mmph mmmph noises are audio stims
Special interest is fire
their stim is ARSON
Demo:
I headcanon him as AuDHD too
I mean tbf a lot of how he is is more related to alcoholism but shhh let me have this
But I mean he made friends with Soldier
Special interest in medieval weapons which would explain why he's crazy about swords?
Drinking could be an unhealthy coping mechanism/safe food
Probably also depressed with how he can never live up to his family's expectations
Infodumping about bombs in his introduction video
Honestly most of my "evidence" for him is just fanon but idc I like autistic Demoman
Heavy:
Whether or not him having a PhD in Russian literature is canon, some of his in game lines show him to be very poetic and thoughtful
The fact that he only has a few food items but always seems super happy to be eating them gives me safe food vibes
He sings and hums a lot, probably as a stim
He has the Resting Autism Face™
Special interest in his gun
A lot of his voice lines also just feel really stimmy to me, especially when he's doing the "YATATATATATA" thing
Not sure he has any volume control either
Seems to genuinely enjoy Medic's morbid stories, at least to a point
He really really really really really likes the song of the Volga boatmen in particular
He's the prettiest princess it's canon, you can't be a pretty princess without being autistic /j
He has a tiny bed for Sasha. HE HAS A TINY BED FOR SASHA
Heavy is often criticized as a class because guess gameplay is relatively simple and can become a little stale for a lot of people. Yet Heavy seems to have some of the most excited voice lines in the game. I feel like this emphasizes how much he thrives in routine, since he seemingly never gets bored of just doing his thing
Engie:
He has 11 phds
A lot of his voice lines also sound really stimmy to me. Either he's going YEEHAWW GIDDY UP or he's yelling DAMNIT DAGNABIT DANGIT DAGGIT NABBIT
Probably a lot of echolalia with that too
He humanizes his buildings and cares for them like a mother bird
Just listen to his genuinely heartbroken when his sentry gets taken down!
When playing Engie sometimes I find myself smacking stuff with my wrench even though I KNOW it's already level 3 and maxed and whatnot, or I KNOW I'm out of metal, just because I wanna hear the clang noise. So this point is just me projecting but I love the mental image of Engie giving his things a few extra whacks too
He sawed off his arm for his special interest
His whole monologue in meet the engineer is so autistic sounding to me
His dancing taunt also feels stimmy
He's always hunched over, implying irregular posture
He's a NERD—
Man of many talents including playing the guitar
Never takes those goggles off
How does he turn a stressful TF2 match into a (not so) relaxing tower defense game?
Medic:
I headcanon him as AuDHD too because he seems really scatterbrained and it feels like he's working on several things at once and always
He talks a LOT. definitely an infodumper
Either he's super stern or really giggly, there is no in between
He wears gloves in battle but not while doing surgery??? Does he just like organ textures??? Wacko
Special interest is obviously whatever the heck kinda of mad science he does
Here's a heavy medic headcanon I have: medic likes deep pressure hugs
Another special interest could be his birds
He's very spontaneous which makes me think AuDHD even more
Look how excited he gets when taking about the tumors in expiration date!
He got the organ stealing autism
Is it just me or does he fixate on baboon organs in particular???
Sniper:
I'm pretty sure all of you know why this man is autistic but I'm going to list some reasons here anyway
My main evidence tho are his Halloween voice lines: https://youtu.be/2WDljNAslys?si=JP25VOGGDWwwoCI7
Exhibit a, look how much he enjoys having an owl head
Exhibit b, lots of those voice lines make him sound really freakin' overstimulated
He probably wears the hat and shades for sensory reasons as well as because they look cool
Obviously the most socially reclusive of the mercs
I love his backstory where he learns he never felt like the other kids because he wasn't actually Australian, but what if he also didn't fit in with the other kids because he's autistic?
Also throwing rocks at people as a kid screams autism to me
No neurotypical would ever throw jars of his own piss at you either
I think he just wants to live in the woods somewhere and never come back to society and honestly that's based
I feel like he would be the type to bite his own arm when stressed (just like me fr 😭)
Extremely meticulous in following his own life rules (ie being professional and having standards, driving safely with the turn signal and everything)
Spy:
Ok just hear me out for this one
Smoking because stim reasons
He's literally and figuratively masking
He's very suave and probably really good with social things, but I feel like it looks like he's just practiced really hard, again MASKING
Who knows he might not even actually be French
Who collects photographic evidence for a ur mom joke
I see him as either being hypersensitive or hyper insensitive to pain depending on the day (his screams + "I do believe I'm on fire.")
Mad butterfly knife tricks as a stim? (Notice he couldn't help but fiddle with them even disguised as scout in meet the spy)
He sucks at dealing with relationships and that's one of the reasons he's a bad dad
He actually really cares about his team and you can see it especially in expiration date but he's not very good at expressing it
Do you think he wears the ski mask for sensory reasons too?
Probably has his suits tailored to not give him any sensory issues, which could be another reason he likes them so much
Believe me I could go on but I think this is enough to get my point across
THEY ARE ALL AUTISTIC >:00
#tf2#autistic headcanon#adhd headcanon#audhd headcanon#tf2 all mercs are autistic#we need to talk about this#guys they're so silly#they are definitely autistic you can't say they're not#i will die on this hill#medic tf2#tf2 sniper#tf2 heavy#tf2 scout#tf2 spy#tf2 soldier#tf2 demoman#tf2 engineer#tf2 pyro#tf2 headcanons#long post#congrats you're stuck here in this rabbit hole with me#autism#team fortress 2#all of them are so autistic it's not even funny#actually it's hilarious

Here's a funny kinda nostalgic post for commenting on.
In Husbandry Warhammer what media normally designed more for kids do Space Marines enjoy? (Aka what media are they latching onto because it is healing their traumatized inner child?)
I'm gonna go through some of my totally unbiased opinions. And if you're favorite legion isn't on here...
Comment it with your thoughts!
Thousand Sons - Take your damn pick there's so much magic based media but of course the Owl House is up there for recent examples.
...some of the Loyalist Thousands Sons do get a bit...existential when the plot line of the tyrannical Emperor Belos gets expanded upon.
Ironically despite its fictional nature Thousand Son or other psycher space marines use certain scenes in it almost like training videos for their offspring.
Ultramarines - You can't Tell me these guys wouldn't like Bob the Builder, and Thomas the Tank Engine. The main characters are Blue and so much of trains and building is logistics! And Cyberspace! Logistics is mostly math so Cyberspace is in there too.
Death Gaurd - Zoboomafo, the focus on flora and fauna is quite enjoyable for marines literally in tune with the cycle of life. Children's shows in general often use simpler language which is easier to understand or translate for Marines still coming to grasp with ancient terran languages. The similarly enjoy The Wild Thornberries
Nightlords - Goosebumps. They LOVE Goosebumps and 'Are you afraid of the Dark?' No I will not explain it.
Blood Angels - Art Attack! Never watched the show myself but Damn it looks fun! And perfect for craft inclined Blood Angels.
Alpha Legion - The animated Carmen Sandiego cartoon! Deception, mystery and most importantly disguises! What more could a hydra want? And Blue Clues...because.
Salamanders - Dragon Tails. Love watching it with their family or kids. The show has a big focus on family itself and giant lizards it's practically made for them! Would probably also like Dinosaur Train.
Emerperors Children - Steven Universe. The art, the music, the messy drama of the characters that makes them weep and the existential dread of being similarly tied to a parent or family that is...complicated.
They find a lot of comfort and catharsis in it.
Black Templars - Veggie Tales. Okay JK kinda they would like that just swap out God for God Emperor. Also...Winnie the Pooh.
Is it just because Pooh is Yellow like their gene father? That's not entirely it but they approve of the little yellow bear who isn't the brightest but he does his Best Okay!
I could also see them using it as another weird allegory for the God Emperor loving and protecting because in quite a few episodes of "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh," Christopher Robin shows up to help Pooh and Friends out of their predicaments.
Iron Warriors - Reboot! My sister loved this show as a kid, and given its focus on computers/a digital world I could see them enjoying it! Also they like Cyber Space because Math. And...Chip and Dale rescue rangers But! They like it specifically for the scenes with Gadget because she makes cool things and they also want to make cool things/find a way to make them work.
See a video on AstartikTok about an Iron Warrior making a remote controlled roller skate and putting the families pet rat on it.
The rat is unharmed and even seems to enjoy the ride.
Dark Angels - Redwall. God that series gave me Nightmares but it Was still technically a kids show....technically. Also Jane and the Dragon, they like the medical aesthetic.
Space Wolves - No I'm not saying paw patrol. Blue Clues and Bluey! But All the legions have Marines who like Bluey! There's hardly a demographic on this planet that doesn't have a legion of Bluey Fans!
Also the old Tarzan Disney animated series because it was actually pretty damn hot shit! And full of cool action scenes fighting giant frightening animals.
White Scars - My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Yes because horses, and yes because it espouses the values of community and collaboration and it has a kicking soundtrack. And White Scars are one of the few legions who both accept psychers but also acknowledge their inherent danger. They have a big focus on meditation and not becoming lost to the power you wield and finding support in those around you. They appreciate the similar messaging in the show.
War Hounds and World Eaters - Lazy Town. Because all of them want to become as strong as Sportacus and be able to lift a fuckin pyramid with a grappling hook from an airship!
Please stop them, the Pyramids of Giza need to stay where they are. Don't let them cause an international incident.
Ravengaurd - Ruby Gloom. They enjoy the macabre atmosphere merged with the cheerful main character. Plus the music isn't half bad.
Some tags for ya'll if you wanna jump in! And don't hesitate to comment about legions already mentioned if you've got more ideas about shows they'd like.

i've been waiting all my life (for you to arrive)
bot with a baby au - chapter one
after a decepticon attack leaves a newborn baby orphaned, ratchet takes it upon himself to take care of the baby until he can find her remaining family. it doesn't go as planned.
author's note: i can't believe i'm actually doing this. this was supposed to be a joke. this was supposed to be a crackfic. but here we are, because i actually managed to come up with a plot. gonna shoot for a saturday/every other saturday upload schedule so i don't overwhelm myself, whichever one ends up working out, but we'll see how that goes.
the title comes from "worlds collide" by marianas trench. if you know the story behind that song and get why i chose that line for my title, you get alllllll the brownie points.
the first lesson every medic on cybertron learned upon entering the field was that you couldn't save everyone.
of course, it was drilled into each prospective medic from day one. it wasn't meant to frighten anyone away from the field. it was simply a hard truth, and the sooner one learned it, the better.
ratchet knew it from the start. he knew going into the medical field that sometimes, bots would offline, and he could do nothing about it. as difficult as his first loss was, he was at least mentally prepared for it.
and then the war happened, and losses became the norm.
it was impossible for ratchet to not blame himself when a patient died under his care. it didn't matter if they came in with their chassis blown apart by cannonfire, tox-en circulating through their hydraulics, their faceplate bludgeoned to oblivion, or whatever horrific combination of injuries one could suffer on the battlefield. if they didn't make it home, ratchet would blame himself.
as trying and painful as being a battlefield medic was, ratchet didn't have it in him to quit. in his mind, giving up would lead to even more deaths, and it was better to dig his heels in than give in to his self doubt. and as he improved in his field, as he fought like the pit to keep soldiers and civilians alike alive in the face of impossible odds, he learned the second important lesson all medics would come to learn at some point in their careers.
he couldn't save everyone, but that would never stop him from trying.
it started with an alarm on the base computer.
it was a saturday, and the children were spending their weekend with their autobot friends. raf was playing video games with bumblebee, miko was trying to explain the plot of an anime she liked to bulkhead, and jack was hunting for his bike helmet so he and arcee could try to break their speed record. this left smokescreen wandering around the base, getting himself familiar, and optimus and ratchet standing by side by side in front of the base computer, trying to find any possible signs of the remaining relics alpha trion had sent over.
"still no luck?" ratchet asked as he moved to optimus' left.
"alpha wanted to be certain that these relics would not fall into decepticon hands," optimus said. "my only comfort is that, if we have the same information, these are as difficult for the decepticons to find as they are for us."
"that's one way of looking at it," ratchet huffed. as he watched the screen, he asked, "what do you think you'll do when the war is over?"
"if we win?" optimus asked. he paused, thinking for a moment. "i am not sure. i would much like to go back to iacon and see alpha trion again. maybe i would return to my original job."
"i don't blame you," ratchet scoffed. "i don't think i could handle being a prime. too much weight on my shoulders. you're a better bot than i am, optimus."
"i could say the same about you, old friend," optimus said with a slight smile. "it takes a strong spark and a lifetime of skill to do your job."
"eh, it's not as hard as being a prime is," ratchet shrugged. "anyone can learn how to do what i do."
"do not sell yourself short, ratchet," optimus said. he thought for a minute, then asked, "what will you do after this war?"
"me?" ratchet said. "i'm not sure. we've been in this war for so long that it's hard to imagine anything else."
"i feel the same way," optimus sighed, his expression changing ever so slightly before returning to his usual calm.
ratchet was about to say something when the screen lit up with an alert. focusing on it, ratchet noticed what looked like two sets of lifesigns moving along the screen.
"knock out and breakdown?" he said, reading off of the screen.
"most likely knock out and cylas," optimus inferred. "cylas must've defected from the decepticons after project damocles failed."
"what's knock out doing with him, then?" ratchet asked.
"he's probably mad that cylas took over breakdown's body," bulkhead guessed. "i wouldn't be surprised if knock out wants payback."
following the two blips along the screen, ratchet saw that cylas was moving towards an isolated building, far from any cities or towns. putting two and two together, he said, "that must be a mech outpost. he's either going there to gear up for a fight or to hide."
"either way, he needs to be turned in," optimus said. "we can't have a repeat of project damocles."
bumblebee beeped out a response, which raf translated. "he's saying that cylas was the one who took out his t-cog. he'll probably try to use knock out for extra parts if he beats him."
"then we had better get going and make sure he's apprehended," optimus said. "bulkhead, arcee, come with me. ratchet, you too. we may need a medic. bumblebee, you and smokescreen stay here. we'll need you to man the ground bridge."
bumblebee nodded and got up to take his place next to the ground bridge controls. at the edge of his vision, ratchet saw jack, bike helmet on, climbing on arcee's alt mode, while miko hopped inside bulkhead's alt mode. he rolled his optics, exasperated, but not in the mood to tell the children off when he knew for a fact that they wouldn't listen.
bumblebee booted up the ground bridge, prompting optimus and ratchet to change into their alt modes. once bumblebee punched in the coordinates, the familiar swirling, green vortex of the ground bridge opened up before them. optimus took the lead, and ratchet, as usual, followed right behind him.
the ground bridge spat them out in the middle of a forest covered in snow. as dark as it was, the moonlight streaming between the branches helped illuminate their surroundings. aside from fallen pinecones and animal tracks, the only things disrupting the blanket of white were two sets of tire tracks, which changed into giant footprints once they went deeper in, where driving was more difficult.
"stay on your guard," optimus warned them as he changed into his bot mode. "they may be focused on each other, but we cannot afford to be careless."
ratchet changed into his bot mode shortly after, followed by bulkhead and arcee. the four bots trudged through the snow, following the tire tracks, with bulkhead and arcee carrying their humans on their shoulders.
"do you see that?" miko asked, pointing forward. ratchet looked up from the ground and saw what looked like a building in the distance, though ratchet couldn't make out the details from this far.
"that's our mech base, alright," arcee said. "there's nothing else it can be."
as they collectively picked up speed to get a better look, ratchet saw the destruction cylas and knock out had already wrought. the entrance to the building looked like it had been hacked open, most likely by knock out's buzzsaw. tire tracks scattered in all directions, though none of them looked like knock out's or cylas'. they were too small.
"whoever was here must've packed up and ran for it," ratchet guessed as he stepped through the destroyed entryway. sure enough, the area he'd stepped into looked like a garage, and only a few trucks had been left behind. the rest had all been taken, and which ones remained had been shoved aside or mangled in what must've been a fight. what remained of the base controls had been hurled aside and hacked through, rendering the base inoperable. part of the ceiling had been shot down, leaving a pile of concrete and twisted metal on the floor, partially covering the doorway to the next room.
"i'll go check out what's ahead," arcee said. she set jack down from her shoulder and crouched through what wasn't covered by ruin to scout what lay ahead.
"bulkhead, come with me," optimus said. "we need to see if cylas or knock out are still in the area."
the wrecker nodded and followed after optimus, setting miko on the ground before changing into his alt mode and following optimus outside. jack and miko followed after arcee, leaving ratchet to himself in the garage. as he looked around, he started to weave a possible narrative together in his mind's optic.
cylas must've come through this way to alert his agents, he guessed. knock out followed right behind him, and they must've gotten into it. that hole was probably from knock out trying to shoot cylas. knock out, i can understand, but why would cylas be coming here and not getting away as fast as he could?
"hey, ratchet!" jack's voice rang out from amid the rubble. "you might wanna come see this!"
ratchet turned in the direction of jack's voice. arcee crawled out of the rubble and started to clear a large enough path for ratchet, who, in turn, helped her pull apart the fallen concrete and metal. as the two bots worked, ratchet looked over to arcee. her face looked as confused as he felt, her brow scrunched up in bewilderment.
the two bots forced their way into... well, ratchet wasn't sure what it was. it looked somewhere between an abandoned hospital room and a ramshackle laboratory. jack shone his phone flashlight around the room, revealing a massive medical berth, fit for a large cybertronian, as well as a human sized bed nearby, oddly enough. along one wall hung a myriad of barbaric looking instruments which ratchet could only guess were for taking apart and examining cylas' hijacked body. feeling a draft coming from nearby, ratchet looked around and saw a hole big enough for him to walk through ripped from the wall, along with two sets of snowy footprints leading out.
"looks like we found where they went off to," he grumbled. "knock out isn't done with cylas, it looks like."
"i don't blame him," arcee said, raising an eyebrow. "i would've done the same for cliffjumper."
as ratchet continued to look around the room, something caught his attention; a doorway mostly covered by fallen equipment and concrete. curious as to what lay behind, ratchet hauled the mangled metal and chunks of concrete out of the way. maybe some mech agents had hunkered down in there, people who'd be able to give up any information on where cylas might've gone.
the doorway was tall enough for a bot like arcee to go through comfortably, but ratchet had to duck his way inside. to his surprise, this room seemed relatively untouched by the destruction outside. apart from dust shaken down from the ceiling, everything looked mostly intact, from the fluorescent lights on the ceiling (which ratchet accidentally bumped into upon first entering the room) and the human sized medical equipment. he couldn't understand it. was the human equipment for the mech agents, or was it for cylas? maybe both?
as he turned to his left, two things came into his vision. the first was what looked like a monitor displaying vital signs. he didn't know how human vitals would read compared to cybertronian vitals, so he didn't understand everything he saw, much to his dismay. after raf's poisoning, he'd promised himself that he'd learn more about human medicine; clearly, he hadn't learned enough.
the second was what something ratchet couldn't wrap his processor around. it looked almost like a cross between a table and one of those rolling chairs the kids liked to play around on. on top of the main part of the table was what looked like a clear tank with a myriad of wires and tubes either protruding from the tank itself or plugged into the table. one wall of the tank had two large holes in it. something lay inside it, but ratchet couldn't quite tell what it was, squinting against the glare of the fluorescent light reflecting against the top of the tank.
crouching down to get a closer look, ratchet leaned in closer - and felt his spark freeze up.
two sets of footsteps followed ratchet into the room. the voice of miko piped up, "ratchet? what is this place?"
"this looks like nicu equipment," jack pondered as he looked around the room. "what on earth is it doing here?"
"and how do you know that?" miko asked.
"mom's a nicu nurse, i know what that stuff looks like," jack replied.
"children," ratchet piped up, raising a servo to shush them. once they were quiet again, he slowly raised his servo to the side of the tank with the holes in it and gently pulled on it, causing it to slide downwards. once he got a better look at what was inside, ratchet's horrified expression melted into something furious.
"bumblebee," he said, trying to keep his voice as level as possible as he opened up his comms, "we need a groundbridge. optimus, we need to get back to base, now." turning his head to the side, he said, "jack, when we get back to jasper, we're going straight to the hospital."
"wait, why?" the boy asked, stepping forward to get a better look. "what's going on? is someone hurt?"
ratchet didn't say a word. he reached inside the tank and slid the interior bed out with one digit. summoning up every bit of care and caution in his body, ratchet picked up what lay on the bed and gently set it on his other servo. behind him, the kids craned their necks and stood on their toes for a better look. as ratchet slowly turned around to face the children, his expression shifted to something unusually calm, but the fist clenched at his side revealed his righteous fury.
in his servo, wrapped in nothing but a thin blanket, lay a tiny human baby, asleep and shivering against the freezing cold air.
author's note: i told you i came up with a plot for this fucking crackfic idea. now to get started on the next chapter. (is this crack taken seriously?? idek anymore. i can't write just a goofy dumb fic. i've gotta do something else with it)

A take on a reddit story i watched to a minecraft parkour video on tiktok:
humans and the Geneva convention.
oftentimes, animals, naturally, don't exactly hunt for sport, you know? except dolphins (and i'm sure, some other animal i'm probably missing) but dolphins are blood thirsty and not the sweet, loveable creatures in thought them to be when i was more naive and weak.
naturally (usually) animals wouldn't really hunt for sport, not like humans do. sure some animals do stalk their prey and enjoy instilling the ingrained feeling of dread and fear in said prey from their stalking, but they don't mass hunt, right?
off track; humans and the geneva convention.
with sentience comes opinions. and with opinions comes other's opinions which do not align with your own. thus, conflict, yada yada, you know the rest. (war, usually. that is the rest.)
so when humans had a War, and the War was horrible and huge and there were So Many deaths, the humans made up (hah) and created what is known to us as the Geneva convention.
to those who do not know what the geneva convention is, i shall explain, but please do not take my pitiful explanation for its pure definition and please do some research.
the Geneva Convention is an agreement that is upheld by any and all nations participating in any sort of lethal conflict (war). the basic of this agreement are these; civilians must not be purposely harmed or captured in conflicts; medical personnel are not to be purposefully targeted in conflicts; and POWs (prisoners of war) must not be killed or treated super badly (i'm not completely sure about the accuracy of this one, but i think it should be in the geneva convention if it isn't already).
to stop my waffling on, the geneva convention is an important Rule of War (as not all is fair in thus and love) and any party (not the fun kind, usually) participating in conflict should abide by these rules.
it's funny, because we have those rules! like, we as a species are so merciless, that when we looked at how many deaths there were after That One War, we all came to a world-wide, nation wide, agreement (where we can't even agree to accept our own people, no less) not to kill who do not need to be killed.
animals have no such rules in their "wars".
would aliens?
it would stand to understand that with sentience comes opinion, and opinion births conflict, but are aliens alike to us in such a way that they would have their Own Geneva Convention?
would they need it? or are they a species more logical, less fiery? or, perhaps, are we humans too heartless, where aliens find only empathy for lives lost?
Who are we, as Humans (Homo Sapiens, Terrans,) to have such Rules for War?
Why, we are the ones who would have no such qualms, eliminating the enemy if our rules were to be exempted. We are those who do not hesitate to kill ourselves. What makes you think we'll hesitate to destroy you?
No Geneva Convention?
Good luck, then.

Life with a Low Battery: Living with ME/CFS
From the Bateman Horne Center:
Bateman Horne Center https://batemanhornecenter.org/ understands that it can be incredibly frustrating and difficult to explain how to live in a body that functions differently than it once did. In response to feedback from the lived experience community, we created an animated video, "Life with a Low Battery: Living with ME/CFS," explaining energy utilization in a fun and engaging way.
This video aims to help your friends and family members understand what it is like to live with ME/CFS and to help you identify ways to close unnecessary “apps” (when possible) to conserve energy.
To accommodate the sensory sensitivities of our community, there are several versions of, "Life with a Low Battery: Living with ME/CFS," available for viewing:
Read the content:
A version that has dialogue audio only
youtube
A low sensory video with muted colors and no background music
youtube
One with full color, with no background music
youtube
And finally, a version that includes full color and background music
youtube
This is one you may want to share with people in your life who don’t have sensory sensitivities because it is the most engaging version.
You can find links to these in the YouTube descriptions at batemanhornecenter.org. We hope you enjoy this new resource created by the OMF-supported Medical Education Resource Center at BHC, with support from the Whittemore Peterson Institute and our generous donors.
Help make ME/CFS common knowledge by liking and sharing with your friends and family.

🩹How to deal with unhealthy regression:🩹
🍼First of all what is unhealthy regression?
Ageregression or agedreaming is both a trauma response and a coping mechanism. As such it can also present in unhealthy ways. When that happens the usually beneficial behaviour can cause harm to the individual partaking in it. I will explain what that can look like in this post and which warning signs to look out for.
🐾How can unhealthy regression present?
If someone's regression is unhealthy it can show in a number of ways since regression itself is something very personal and is often very different from person to person. Unhealthy regression can show through tantrums, being easily frustrated, struggling with things like personal hygiene and maintaining a healthy routine, overspending, insomnia and nightmares or general issues around sleep, relapsing in addictive or other harmful behaviors and much more.
🍼What are some warning signs to watch out for?
Warning signs can differ from person to person but these are some I watch out for in my own coping/symptoms. Struggling to control your regression ie. slipping at work or in public without being able to regulate back to a mindset where you are capable of caring for yourself and performing necessary tasks. Experiencing mainly upsetting emotions while regressed. Falling back on unhealthy coping mechanisms due to stress occurring during regressive episodes. Struggling with properly taking care of yourself, (cleanliness, sleep, nutrition etc.). Basically any unusual amount of stress, symptom flare-ups, dissociation, mental distress or similar during or after regressive episodes is something to watch out for.
🐾What do I do if my regression is currently unhealthy?
First of all don't panic, it's okay to struggle and it does not make you a bad person to do so. If you can talk to a medical professional who might be able to advise you on an individual scale. On your own I would recommend a few different things depending on how much you are struggling. If it is currently not safe for you to regress try not to, don't do it voluntarily and if it happens involuntarily try your best to stay safe, be around people you feel safe with, let someone know what's going on, stay away from potential triggers or things that could cause harm towards you. If you can't stop regressing or don't feel it is necessary try addressing the issues you are experiencing. Journal about the feelings you are having, get them out in whichever way works for you whether it be talking, writing, drawing, singing, painting or anything else. I also recommend actively doing positive things like going to the zoo, having a playdate with a friend, playing a new video game or having a plushie spa day. Actively making good memories around regression can be very healing. The most important advice I have is don't force it, rather set aside regression for a while than risk harking yourself just because it is a coping mechanism that has served you in the past, sometimes we have to let go of things even if it hurts. Also don't be afraid to seek professional help, it does not make you weak to need assistance, stay safe.
🍼How can I help somebody else with unhealthy regression?
Ask them if they know any specific things that help them and act accordingly within your own boundaries. Try being there for them in any way you can safely do, offer an open ear if they want to talk about anything, send them cute animal pictures to cheer them up or just check in with them every now and then. Send them any resources you feel might be helpful, whether it be mental health apps, a recommendation for a great therapist or a self help group or just a cool colouring book. If you feel it necessary for their safety don't be scared to involve their family or friends for a wellness check. If your country has the proper means to execute a safe wellness check through police/EMTS or similar that is also an option worth considering but be mindful of their safety regarding such actions.
🐾How do I confront someone I am worried about?
There isn't one way to do this, if you are worried about a friend, partner, family member or even just a mutual the most important thing is to be kind. Don't accuse someone of something, throwing around big statements can be overwhelming. Indeed try addressing specific things you are worried about like "I've noticed that lately you have been isolating yourself." or "The posts you have been making on social media lately make it seem like you are struggling, I'm worried about you and would like to help if you'd let me." We can't make someone accept help especially not through the phone and someone else's wellbeing is not your responsibility (in most cases) but it is still important to check in with people who you think might be struggling. Explain your concerns as calm as you can, hear them out on their answers and do your best not to make any judgements on their struggle. If you feel overwhelmed with approaching them try contacting somebody close to them first.
🍼What if I can't access a therapist or afford to go to a hospital?
If you or someone you care about lives in a country without universal health care getting the right support can be hard. I personally do not so I can't give exact advice on this but I recommend calling things like mental health hotlines, reaching out to resources like the Trevor project and looking for things like local support groups and mental health charities. Getting help can be scary but you are worth it.

Dress to Impress Lana Lore: Why her?
Post Date: 1 November 2024
special thanks to youtuber callmehhaley for her video "SECRETS In The LANA LORE QUEST & Breakdown! *STORY EXPLAINED?* | Dress To Impress Halloween Update"
also thank you to youtuber izzzyzzz for her video "The Dress To Impress Horror ARG Explained"
For my thoughts on Nurse Julie from the Halloween Update, feel free to visit TopfSecret's Lana Lore Tag!
.
Why Did Agamemnon Choose Lana?
At first, it's easy to say that Agamemnon symbolizes the predatory people in the fashion industry. The early Lana lore cements this interpretation. Agamemnon's minions exploited Lana's sickness, roping her into a job so she can pay her medical bills, before trapping her in the whole Awakening business.
But the Halloween Update reveal that Agamemnon may have caused Lana's illness in the first place is... wild. It doesn't undo the above interpretation, especially with the shadowy cult stuff. But why Lana? Why not take someone who's already got a terminal illness? There's plenty of desperate people to take advantage of in this age of capitalism.
The song "Temptation" may have the answers. It's reaching a little bit, but please bear with me!
Let me tell you a story of betrayal Between two people unalike There was a goddess, who was immortal against a jealousy of a warrior and when the time came for a judgement There were more wrongs than a right There was no solace, no immunity banished from who he used to be
So, there's precedent in greek mythology of mortals being punished for wanting to surpass/being better than the gods, for example Arachne - being turned into a spider for defeating Athena in a weaving contest. There's also precedent of mortals being punished for cheating death (wanting immortality), as in the case of Sisyphus - doomed to push a boulder up a hill for eternity because he trapped Thanatos (personification of death) and prevented him from taking Sisyphus' soul.
So it's not a stretch to say that Agamemnon isn't a new figure. I can't say if he's literally mythological Agamemnon, but he could be? From wikipedia: "Agamemnon has slain an animal sacred to Artemis, and subsequently boasts that he is her equal in hunting."
ummm... yeah. That's punishment material, babey. A warrior (well, hunter) of sorts being jealous of Artemis' immortality... makes sense, but not quite.
Regardless, in my opinion, DTI Agamemnon is old enough to have been jealous of a goddess' immortality, trying to get it, and then being punished for it. I'm guessing his punishment is being denied a physical form, doomed to be a ghost forever (since he wants immortality so much). My rationale: he's seen as hallucinations and dark shadows in the Halloween Update, which is probably the earliest chronologically (since it talks about Lana's leaving her house and her hospital days).
He only got a physical form after sacrificing multiple souls (seen in the earlier updates), such as the Fortress Security Footage #1. It's not his "ultimate" form, though, which is why he keeps trying to get more sacrifices.
For the temptation in his heart His life was doomed right from the start He wanted more than what he got But it was locked away
Well, duh. Immortality is locked away from mortals for a reason. If his life is "doomed from the start", it could be that DTI Agamemnon is based on (or is actually) mythological Agamemnon, where his entire family has been doomed due to the actions of his ancestor, Tantalus.
Obsessed with immortality He wanted to live eternally Wanted to make himself a God and now he's locked away
This explains itself. He may have been locked away by the goddess that he was jealous of back in the first verse.
So he planned to sneak into the palace and consume what wasn't his he thought you made it, with all his malice but he was caught in carelessness
"Sneak into the palace" could have not been literal, because I have no idea what the literal equivalent is. However, a palace and a fortress can be equated in some way - which may mean that he's creating The Fortress to consume what wasn't his (souls of the innocent).
How about "He thought you made it, with all his malice, but he was caught in carelessness."?
Well.
This is where my speculation goes to an unhinged place.
Ready? Of course you are.
So: I think Lana may have been related to whoever goddess punished Agamemnon in the first place. Whether she's the goddess' descendant, or a reincarnation, or simply an unlucky mortal chosen for a quest, Lana Dress to Impress may have divine purpose.
That's why Agamemnon chose Lana as his main collaborator/pawn instead of other terminally ill young women (or others whom he thinks is easily exploited). He wanted to get revenge on the goddess that punished him in the first place, so he took it out on Lana.
I think "he thought you made it, with all his malice" means that Agamemnon has the impression that Lana made it (the Fortress) for him.
"But he was caught in carelessness" because he assumed wrong. In truth, Lana made the whole thing to stop him - at least at first, before he started influencing her. In the previous updates, we see that Lana made the whole Saudade/Coterie thing to stop the Awakening. It could've been a prophecy, or something driven inside her because of her divine heritage. Her obsession with ancient Greek mythology could be explained by her unknowingly reaching for her birthright/quest hints/etc.. (Although, that goddess would not be Artemis, I think.)
I think Lana made all that stuff to stop him and the Awakening as soon as she left the hospital. She thought she was free! She wants to, has to, fight back against him!
But of course, Agamemnon is still stalking her, waiting until the right time to influence her again, to make her work for him instead.
now the time came for a judgement and he pleaded for his life he would be banished, and stay immortal if only he sacrificed a few souls
The problem is, I still don't really know how these lines fit. "Stay immortal if only he sacrificed a few souls" wouldn't make sense if the gods didn't want him to be immortal as more than an incorporeal shadow/hallucination.
Maybe he knew, somehow, that he had to sacrifice a few souls to become immortal (not only tangible, but also having an Ultimate Form through the Awakening)? Did he know that innately? Or did someone else, a greater force, tell him? I really don't know. We probably need more information.
If you're a bigger Greek mythology nerd than we are (which is probably the case - do let us know if I missed some important part of the Agamemnon mythological lore.)
Thank you all so much for reading!
