A cool shiver went down your spine after Piotr ..or.. Peter shut the door.

Oh my god he’s so cute, In a scruffy and ragged kind of way. Maybe he’ll order again and your paths will cross once more. You shoved the generous tip money in your bag and went on about your evening, definitely not daydreaming about the muscly, scruffy tall man with big blue eyes.

“I’m in love!” You barged into the cafe ready to spill all the details of your recent encounter to your coworkers.

It was after closing time so you could be as unabashed about your feelings as you wanted.

The kitchen staff collectively let out a sigh. Let’s just say this definitely wasn’t the first time you barged in telling everyone you were in love

“Who is is this time y/n?” Jeannie asked with exasperated tone.

“Oh hush, you love it.” You teased back.

She rolled her eyes at you as she wiped down the counter.

“It was this guy I just delivered to. He was tall and handsome! In a rugged kind of way.”

You grabbed a pile of dishes and put them in the sink. You happily helped close up while filling others in on every detail of your encounter with Peter.

“You’re such a hopeless romantic.” Jeannie teased.

“Yeah, well, what can I say.” You said hanging up your apron.

As you and the other staff departed for the night, you wished them a goodnight and went home. Thankfully you’d be back on day shift soon after picking up a few nights for some extra cash.

…

It had been weeks since your encounter with...Piotr..or Peter. You had resumed your normal routine, because why wouldn’t you? It’s not like you thought about his pretty blue eyes all the time or that spark when your hands touched.

Unfortunately, it was the end of your 15 minute break, so time to stop daydreaming about him and get back to waiting tables. Not that you were a romantic, (you definitely were but to admit it would result in endless teasing from your work friends) but something just felt different.

You were working your usual morning shift at the cafe today, it was uneventful so far. You were thankful for that though. Working with the public, you never knew what you were getting into.

You walked over to the broad shouldered man sitting in the corner booth.

“Good morning, my name is y/n and I’ll be taking care of you today. What can I get started for you?”

He looked up and a pair of familiar blue eyes looked back at you.

It was Piotr

Your swore you saw a flash of recognition grace his features.

“Good morning.” He said flashing you a polite smile. As he placed his breakfast order, you noticed a few things.

He looked a lot better than when you first saw him, he was clean shaven, didn’t smell like booze and he had gotten a haircut.

“Sure coming right up!” You said overly cheerful at 8:00 in the morning.

Damn, chill y/n it’s too early for all that. You told yourself.

You weren’t sure if you should say anything about when you met Peter before. On one hand that would be super weird, and on the other hand that’d still be really weird, y/n come on.

After giving it some thought, you decided not to. Unless he said something. But it didn’t seem like he was going to.

Colossus decided to get back into his old hobbies again, hoping it would bring him out of his funk. The cafe sat at the entrance to a city park so he had brought his sketch pad with him, hoping to get some quick doodles in. Plus maybe he would see that pretty lady, (y/n). He decided to start off easy by drawing the flowers that were blooming in the planter that hung on the railing of the cafe’s patio.

“Okay here you are, Peter, Anything else?”

Shit! Fuck. just called his name. Maybe he didn’t notice.

He looked up from the paper he was scribbling on.

“This will be all, y/n thank you.”

Oh, shit. He called you by name, with emphasis on the name. He definitely remembered.

“Great.”

You turned and headed to the kitchen cursing yourself.

You looked over your shoulder at the dark haired man once more.

He was concentrated on his drawing.

‘Don’t fuck this up y/n.’ you thought to yourself.

You barged into the kitchen, hoping Jeannie was there.

Your eyes darted around the room until you found her- that gorgeous red hair always caught your eye.

“Jeannie, wait!” You ran over to her.

“I’m busy, (y/n).” She explained as he held a plate of food in each hand.

“I know…but..He’s here!”

“Who?”

“Peter!”

“Peter?”

“You know..Peter.”

Her brown knitted in confusion.

“The one she is in love with! Most recent!” One of the line cooks shouted out.

“Thank you Jeremy!” You exclaimed. At least someone listened to you.

“Oh yeah. Well, good. Maybe you can actually talk to him.”

“No. You don’t understand! I called him by name.”

She laughed. “(Y/n) you are overthinking this, just chill.” She said and walked out the kitchen doors to the dining room.

Just chill. Just chill. You thought to yourself.

Thankfully you were pretty chill throughout the rest of your time with Peter. Chill meaning being able to serve him without combusting.

When you went back to get the ticket from his table, he had already left, but he gave you a good tip and doodled a little drawing on the receipt. It was a flower; a tulip to be exact.

You decided to keep it for yourself. The cafe won’t miss one receipt.

Not just a flower child huh ? (Logan howlett x reader ) part 8

summary : when it all went right to oh so bad and now it was a race against the clock for them all as a risk taker visits the school .

warning : fluffy and angsty ball of fun that seems to be the norm for this series . this part will shift to past and present , grammatical errors and spelling mistakes

Once again she was facing the metal bars , ones she was all to accustomed to only the device around her neck stop her fighting back , she should of known it was a trap , seeing them there  that day , she should of known it was just another ploy to get her back to where she started. The location was new , it was different the mold and damp hadn’t set in yet but all she was staring at was the metal bars not the fact they all stood in the room , watching her like she was an exhibit at the zoo and yet all she could think of how just a week ago she was finally letting it go . finally letting herself into the feeling she thought she wasn’t suppose to have and now it was all gone , he was gone . 

One week ago : 

Just as routine she crept out of her room , her heart slowly down and sweat not so profuse  but yet her hands still shook when she open the door , her steps shill shaky as she walked down the hall . what she didn’t expect was a sudden ball of blue fur and steel at her side making her tired eyes focus . 

“ why are you  hugging me” she murmured feeling the sneeze building at the feeling of hanks fur tickling her nose  then she smelled it making her eyes roll at the sudden affection . “ let me go you stink of alcohol “ she pushed them away . 

“ you are my new friend and you needed some affection” hank grumbled . 

“ you are my baby sister and i wanted to hug you” piotr slurred out . 

“ ok ok thank you big softies go to bed i will hug you when you don’t stink “ she rolled her eyes . 

She walked further to see scott carrying a nearly asleep jean and well storm almost asleep on the stairs  . 

“ what is it xmen go wild tonight ?” she asked walking into the kitchen seeing logan pouring himself a drink . 

“ couple of the kids got into college so they celebrated  , we did call you but you mumbled something about vines and asses if we woke you up” he chuckled . 

“ rings a bell” she hummed remembering a slightly a startled summer rushing out her room . 

She already looked to see the tea she drank normally ready as his own amber liquid cup filled heading to the back door the two walked out she was already a head  taking  the cup from his head before she spit the liquid to her hand  letting the fire hit the wood . 

“ cool trick “ 

“ a good friend of mine told me i’m like a bag of them “ she winked . 

“ smart friend seems to know  his stuff huh “  this was a new grin almost flirty the way his eyes danced along her features . 

“ he’s ok i guess” she shrugged playful. 

“ just alright?” he nudged her arm . 

“  maybe a little more than alright he is one of my favorite people but don’t tell him might go to his head” 

“ can’t have that can we well i think this alright guy thinks your alright or a little alright too “ he smiled only feel her hand in his the vast difference in size and yet it fit perfectly like a puzzle piece . 

“ thanks you for making me feel like a person “ she almost whispered as she stared up at the sky watching the beauty of the stars above while logan watched the beauty of  the woman at his side .  her eyes widened as she saw it the white fleck falling down floating out of the sky something she barely even remembered at first then suddenly it was like a flash she was on her feet like a child like wonder and curiosity on her face as it fell to the palm of her hand melted away . 

“ i remember this “ she smiled softly . 

“ snow? “ he filled in the blank a fond smile on his face. 

“ snow… it been along time since i seen it “ she giggled almost taking off to get more of it ,  her laughs and giggles almost echoed throughout the grounds of the school and it came down a bit heavier yet she was spinning in circle watching it fall to the ground. The way it was slowly like a blanket across the grass  she  was almost in awe of it  not almost it was  a beautiful sight one he wanted to burn in his memory for rest of his life .  he was a goner before and completely gone now watching how she almost danced around with the snow, something Piotr said earlier it was her favorite thing as child , everyone would be so miserable but y/n would dance and play with the snow  no matter how cold it go she found a way to be her . he felt a presence watching actually a few when he turned to see the man himself and the professor standing also smiling at the sight before them . 

“ i’m glad i didn’t miss this “  was all her brother said . 

“ guess you’ll take the car tomorrow… use the key please” professor chuckled handing logan a coat  for her and yet neither of them wanted to disrupt the show , the moment of her getting to be her after so long of captivity . 

She awoke to the sounds of laughter and happiness almost buzzing from the outside , the sound of children being children a smile laced on her face before her eyes even open . 

 only for a knock to send her flying out of the bed and hitting the floor instantly while she let out a little “ come in “ . jean stood head tilted looking down at the floor while bub stretched out on the bed a  meow to let them now he was awake and another to let them know he was well awake and attention on him . 

“ i was told to bring you a coat and scarf “ jean smiled placing them on the desk and heading straight for the fluff ball now demanding attention . “ i’ll be happy to watch bub  for the day “ she added walking out before y/n could even register what was going on . 

“ she stole my kitty” her head tilted as she groaned getting off the ground ready  to well get ready for her day knowing she wanted to see more of central park  which now would be covered in snow with the man that made her heart well do weird things , quickly dressing as she grabbed the scarf and coat on for rogue to pull her back into the room . 

“ nah out of those” she mused heading to the closet instantly pulling out a whole new  outfit  . consisted of a black turtle neck dress , tights and boots . 

“ you can thank me later “ was all the woman said sitting on the bed looking through the books that sat on the desk .  her eyes almost popping out of her head when y/n reemerged  dressed once more, “ shit you look amazing “ she smiled coming behind the woman pulling her hair out of the ponytail letting it fall naturally down   then handing her the coat and scarf . 

“ you all dress me like a doll” y/n chuckled remembering storm and jean when she first came . 

“ well your as beautiful as one now come one breakfast time” she giggled as two heading down the hall . the moment she walked into the dinning room  the noise of metal hitting the table as she looked to see all eyes on her . 

“ wow look at you” bobby smiled as rogue held his hand . 

“ it’s bad” she asked looking down at her clothes . 

“ you look hot “ storm winked . 

“ can’t believe she going on date with logan “ another she’d know as “ pyro “  although he didn’t make fire like she did it was confusing. 

“ come on dear eat” professor smiled . “ you look radiant” he added as her cheeks reddened only feel.  When she looked up like it was  second nature  her eyes  already locking with his until she say her brother standing in the way hand on his hips . 

“ what are you intentions with my little sister?” he asked sternly as she jumped from her spot. 

“ maybe we eat at the park” she laughed nervously as she pulled him by the hand only for her brother to move yet he hit the floor instead. 

“ man she makes those things strong” scott chuckled seeing the vines wrapped around Piotr ankles . 

She could barely look at the man her eyes locked out the window watching the passing scene just as beautiful under the white blanket  , even the city was beautiful and yet all her mind could conjure and think of was a date. “ is it a date.. Why would it be a date”  she thought not realizing her face was showing what her mind didn’t .

“ what’s going on in that pretty head of yours” he chuckled as her head shot in his direction and fact he was holding her hand. 

“ DATE “ She almost yelled . “ is this date?” she asked cursing herself for the well nervous squeak

“ about time you realized” he chuckled squeezing her hand softly but not one separating them  even when he was changing his gears he still found away around of it . “ that a problem? “ he asked already knowing it wasn’t  from the way he could sense her body language almost relax in a way but he could tell she was nervous hell he was nervous but hey wasn’t every new start like that. 

“ ok date … was the last time a date too” she asked softly more curious . 

“ sweetheart every night was a date “ he smiled . 

“ we have good dates then “ she smiled more nerves not so prominent as they drove through the city watching the now covered buildings pass , worker salting the roads and clearing the side walk .

 They pulled up to different place she could see the park not too far away as she went to get the door only for him to stop her before getting out of the car and opening it for her , she couldn’t help the little girlish giggle that spilled from her lips  . once again hand in hand as they walked into the almost diner themed place heading straight for the booth  , the waiter although a little too friendly toward her as he handed the menu over til he caught the glare of the man with her. Her eyes widened as she took in all the food. 

“ get whatever you want sweetheart the milkshakes are nice or so i’m told” he smirked 

“ rogue?” she asked 

“ scott actually don��t let him know” he chuckled . “  why rogue?”. 

“ she made me change in to this “ she looked down . “ its comfortable  i like it “ . 

“ you look beautiful but then again you always do  and if you read my mind you would of known that along time ago “ he winked making her eyes widen . 

“ not that i would do such a thing but what else would i find if i did” she asked softly almost shy to even utter the words, biting her lower lip almost to afraid to utter another word . 

“ that every time you do that make me want to do something else but i’m doing a new thing of being a gentlemen and waiting for the right time “ he whispered just in time for waiter come back.  “ yeah i’d like pancakes , extra bacon and a black coffee thank … sweetheart?” he smirked as her mouth fell open to his previous words . 

“ same .. milkshake chocolate” she barely even spared the waiter a look to his disappointment . “ what the thing ?” she asked almost leaning over. 

“ just have to wait for right moment to find out “ . 

Present :  

How she could go back just a few days , stop it all from unfolding now  how she wasn’t now looking into the eyes of smug bastard. The cat who got the cream look on his face god she wished so much to wipe it off his face . the monster she knew like the back of her hand , a sneaky weasel of a man if she could even call him a man when he got others to do her dirty work . 

“ don’t take it personal” was all she heard her father call out as they  walked out bag of cash in hand once more they sold her out .

“ i hope one day you die screaming in pain and you wonder why it is happening think of me the child you sold to the wolves twice “ she spat . 

“ well if you stayed the last time it wouldn’t happen now would it” her mother cackled . 

“ they will find me and get me out when they do no money will save you “ she gritted feeling the start of the shocks coursing through her body. 

“ enough talking we have so much to do my little bunny” stryker snicker watched as she convulsed before slumping over in the chair she sat. 

“ your not afraid of her power?” her father asked . 

“ that collar makes sure its not a problem  , now leave before i take my generosity back she is right you both are repulsive” he snickered watching as they rushed out only to hear them yelling and cursing before the guns went off and the money  brought in as they dragged her mother in . 

“ this one is hiding something the other is dead” the guard spoke as they watched the wounds heal . 

“ guess we got two test subject” stryker shrugged.  “ collar her and tie her down sure they can catch up later. 

He felt sick  , angry no he was almost a blinding rage he was so close to getting her out and yet he was so far all in the same , he couldn’t protect her and now she was gone back to a place he’d promised she would never return to . logan was done  , he was going to get her back no matter what it took , show them the animal they so thought he was . 

“ we need to be smart and we need to think of this clearly”professor spoke up although it seem as the words were clearly targeted . 

“ a week she’s in that hell hole a week , it like your doing nothing” he growled . 

“ we all  want her back we love her” jean shot back . 

“ then why is she still gone” piotr scoffed. 

“ because stryker is being smart we can’t locate her on cerebro  but the one who can help is currently knocking at the door” charles nodded as they stood waiting watching as they heard them , walking down the hall . 

“ professor this man said he needs to talk to you “ rogue stood at the door   her bare hand ready incase it was need. 

“ i need to speak to y/n but i fears its too late .. if you get my family safe i will help you get her back “ he felt so small as they all stared him down 

“Why should we trust you , what’s from stopping me chopping parts off til you start talking” logan stormed across grabbing the man by the throat as  one of is claw was mere inches from the artery . 

“ because dr. thompson is why we save her in the first place , he risked everything to call me last time so let him go logan “ charles warned. 

“ if you kill me it will be too late  and he will end up killing her if the plan of his doesnt work” dr. thompson almost begged to let him help . 

“ what’s he planning? “ storm asked just as jean gasped 

“ he trying to make her like logan , he going infuse her with adamantium “ she felt the bile rise up in her throat . 

“ that almost killed me” logan finally let him go was like his blood turned to ice and the air knocked out his lungs . 

“ well then start talking “ scott stood hand on his visor .

My Idea for a Live-Action X-Men Movie...

Thinking... how can we introduce the X-Men into live action, whether through movie, tv show, limited series, etc. ... and I have an idea.

Let's start in media res.

Charles Xavier's School for the Gifted has been active for the past few years, however with a small class size of seven. Scott. Jean. Bobby. Hank. Warren. Alex. Lorna. Despite only consisting of seven students, due to Xavier's wealth he has been able to keep his school open and thriving since the beginning.

However that has changed as the size of his class has dropped from seven to one after a botched mission led to the capture of his students save one, Scott Summers.

And the opening scene is Xavier sitting in his mansion, worried, waiting, until Scott kicks his door down, tells them his team is gone, and passes out due to exhaustion.

We then pick up on our narrator for the movie, the character whose eyes we will be seeing the entire movie take place through, stepping off a plane and into JFK airport...

Ororo Munroe. Storm.

She had travelled from her home in Africa seemingly on a whim, as if drawn there by fate, and - unsure where to go or what to do next - she goes to a nearby bar to make her next plan.

Who should happen to sit next to her but a short, hairy man in a cowboy hat and a thick, Canadian accent?

Ororo, meet Logan. They do not hit it off.

She does happen to hit it off with the soft spoken Russian man who is reading poetry at the other end of the bar - Piotr Rasputin - and the bartender, a Native American man - James Proudstar - who wasn't supposed to be working that day but traded shifts with his roommate.

While they are all gathered there they hear a voice in their heads and turn around to see Charles Xavier, a man they all recognize and all soon realize is the reason they are now gathered together in this bar. At first they all want to leave but Xavier implores them to at least first hear him out, which they agree to do, but he tells them he won't start until the final member of their group is here.

Cue shouts and gunfire as Kurt - Nightcrawler - runs, leaps, and teleports across the airport in all his blueness.

Xavier manages to calm the crowd however not before one of the security guards manages to call in that the threat is a mutant and it's a race to grab Kurt before reinformcements arrive. But wouldn't you know it the group is not the best team yet and the reinforcements do arrive in the form of Sentinels.

It seems like all hope is lost when, out of nowhere, a stray quartz-colored beam blows one of the Sentinels apart and allows the group a moment to escape. They regroup in Xavier's car, which had been where Scott was waiting while Xavier gathered the others.

They return to the mansion where Xavier explains what happens to his team, that they were responding to a mutant in distress on an island that had ultimately been a trap - with only Scott escaping. The group has been gathered together to help Xavier and Scott rescue their teammates.

It's mostly a resounding no. Piotr would rather be at home on the farm. James has to go searching for a new job since he undoubtedly got fired from the bar for leaving during shift hours. Logan is "not a team player" and believes that the team is most likely dead anyway. Kurt is game but he is also "not the best fighter".

Ororo also agrees to help.

That surprises everyone. She says that while the circumstances that brought them together were underhanded, she cannot sit idly by while innocent people, people like her with a mutant gene, are in danger. Not just those on the island, who they are tasked with rescuing, but around the world especially since Sentinels have become standard issue around the world. While she does not see herself being a full-time member, she knows that the team Xavier had protected mutants like them from these threats and, with them gone, who will protect their community now?

Xavier tells them that, after they help rescue his original team, they would be free to leave and do what they want with their lives as they please.

Piotr is in. So is James. Logan sighs and agrees, "Since I don't want to be the odd one out." They agree to go save the others. Scott says, however, that before they can mount the rescue mission, they need to become a team first - referencing their battle at the airport and how they need to improve.

They agree to train.

Meanwhile, on the island, we see that there is a Master Mold along with Trask and scientists working on creating the next model of Sentinels in their ongoing war against mutants using the captured mutants from Xavier's Academy as test subjects. The scientists are just as much as prisoners as the X-Men, however, as they were led to the island on false pretenses and forced to work for Master Mold who had, unbenknownst to everyone until the final act, had taken over Trask and controls him as a puppet.

A few of these scientists came with their families. One of these families were the Prydes. Katherine Anne Pryde is seen as a non-threat by both Master Mold and Trask, and is able to freely wander the island as well as speak with the prisoners because, since everything is monitored and she is twelve, she cannot do anything to disrupt the mission. We learn from this scene that Master Mold is on the cusp of unveiling a new breed of Sentinel that, using the schematics pulled from Jean's mind, would be able to track mutants anywhere without needing to be called in. It was luck that the X-Men arrived on their island, fell into their trap.

Meanwhile back in Westchester, NY, this new team of X-Men are having a hard time at coming together to work as a team, which is making Scott mad. He and Logan almost come to blows if not for Piotr stepping between them to break things up. They both step away to cool off.

Ororo decides to speak with both of them. First, she goes to Scott, and tells him that he is not being a good leader. They have a heart to heart where he confesses that his friends are his family, and Jean... he has a lot riding on this being a success, and this is as new to him as it is new to them. He is not used to working with people he hasn't grown up with. Ororo tells him that he needs to lead from a place of love and courage, and not fear. Then, she goes to find Logan to see that he is brushing off Kurt rather coldly and Ororo does not wait to take him to task on his loner attitude. They clash a bit before Ororo tells him to get his act together or just leave, as it shouldn't matter to him what they think if he really doesn't care.

They all agree to do another training session, only they never get the chance as Xavier tells them it is now or never as there was a spike of pain from the same island his first team was lost, and that cannot mean anything good. The heroes go to get suited up and fly to the island base.

Master Mold is ready to create his new breed of Sentinels and it looks like they are a success, as they have been fitted with new upgrades. He activates a few and they immediately power online with the alert that there is a mutant among them.

All eyes turn to Katherine Anne Pryde. Kitty.

Her father and mother object but are restrained as the Sentinels begin to pursue her, only able to tell her to run before they are knocked out. Kitty runs and manages to escape the Sentinels after discovering her ability to phase through solid matter. The escape is not fullproof as they burst out the bunker in full pursuit. When she reaches the beaches with what looks like no place left to go, the clouds part and reveal the Blackbird jet which Ororo had just exited from and is now flying down to confront the Sentinels she spotted chasing the little girl. The Sentinels sense her power and lock onto her, only to get blasted by lightning and turret fire.

The X-Men land and confront the Sentinels but, unlike at JFK, they are able to work together and take them down. Even Logan finds himself being a team player. They rescue Kitty and she tells them where the prisoners are and also what Master Mold is planning.

The team decides to split up - Scott, Piotr, and James will confront Master Mold while Ororo, Logan, and Kurt follow Kitty to the prison area.

Of course we stay with Ororo because, again, she is who we are relying to guide us through this story.

We get to the prison area and it's Ororo, Logan, and Kurt going HAM on these guards taking them down while Kitty uses her powers to free the X-Men. She manages to get to the main control room and hits the button that releases all the prisoners who do their best to help, despite being weakened from experiments and torture.

We learn from Kitty that there's a prisoner missing, and they admit that it's Jean. She was taken by Trask.

So the group races to the main room where Scott, Piotr, and James are and see a BUNCH of Sentinels on the loose and pure pandemonium. Piotr and James are on the ropes and Scott is putting up his best fight, however just as the group arrives the Sentinels converge and blast him, with a woman across the room watching calling out his name as he 'perishes' (we'll circle back on this later).

Without their leader and shocked, Ororo steps up and takes command, leading the group into battle like she's been doing it all her life against the Sentinels while Kitty and Kurt evacuate the scientists. She cuts across the room almost instantly to get to Trask and Jean where we finally learn that the former has been completely taken over by Master Mold and is now a Sentinel cyborg. They battle it out but it's a tough battle given the numbers they're against until there's a moment where Ororo and Jean are tucked away, shielded from incoming blaster fire from Trask and the Sentinels, when Jean places her hands to the ground and closes her eyes. Ororo asks what she's doing and Jean tells her she's asking for help.

"From who? Xavier only sent us?"

"From the mutant we came here to help in the first place. From the island."

BOOM! We get the reveal that the island. Krakoa, is a mutant and has been weakened by the experiments run on it by Master Mold and the Sentinel. Jean tells the group that they need to let Krakoa 'feed' on a piece of their energy to recupe its strength for it to help them and they all look to Ororo as it's her call, and she says they should do it. They do and the ground rumbles and shakes and we can see the island begin to terraform as it fights back against Master Mold and the Sentinels. It takes out MANY of them while the X-Men pick up the slack on the rest.

Ororo takes on Master Mold/Trask hybrid as the island begins to sink back into the ocean, with Trask, damaged, spouting nonsense. That he is there to save the world, that he is the FUTURE, the INEVITABLE, that the X-Men cannot prevent the world falling apart in the future, that they will be responsible for the apocalypse. However, with a lightning zap and some timely telekinesis, the group escapes back to the Blackbird as the rest of the island has already been evacuated.

The X-Men return to Westchester without Scott and inform Xavier of what happened.

Time moves on. They recover. They mourn. A memorial service is held for Scott. Xavier's original students, Warren, Bobby, Alex, Hank, and Lorna, decide to leave the school afterwards as they believe they need to come at the Sentinel problem another way. They form X-Force.

Xavier comes up to Ororo after the service and asks her to stay on, despite her having no obligation to do so. She watches Logan and Kurt keeping Kitty entertained while Piotr and James speak with her parents, about Kitty staying on at the school and learning from Professor Xavier, and decides that she would like to stay and lead the X-Men. Jean joins them and says that she'd be happy to be on any team Storm is leading, revealing that -of the original students - she is the only one who is staying with the X-Men. The three look out onto the horizon as there are endless possibilities for the X-Men now *play the theme song*

END CREDIT SCENE NUMBER ONE - Magneto watches Xavier's new team of X-Men in action and converses with Mystique, saying that, "If Charles has put together a new team of recruits, we should, too."

END CREDIT SCENE NUMBER TWO - A blonde woman in all white speaks with a raven-haird men with red eyes and a crimson diamond embedded in his head. "You pulled a lot of favors to get him, are you sure he's worth it?" "Believe me. He is." The duo, Emma Frost and Dr. Sinister are looking over the body of Scott Summers, very much NOT DEAD, held in stasis as the camera pans out and reveals the Hellfire Club.

And that would be how we introduce the X-Men, and mutants, into live action movies.

Do you think when the MCU adapt the X men and hopefully adapt Colossus theyll change Piotr nationality from Russian to Ukranian or Polish or just a generic Eastern Europe background to avoid controversary?

Forgive me in advance because I am going to vomit out a deluge of my thoughts and feelings on this matter, and (as is characteristic of me) it is going to run long.

Short answer? Do I think the MCU might pull something like that? This is Hollywood we're talking about, so I wouldn't be surprised. Optimistically, I hope for better.

Long answer: I would hope with the very building blocks of my person and psyche that one would not attempt that goofiness.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, I'll repeat it verbatim until I'm exhausted and have to scrawl it out in dirt because I choose this battle: Colossus, as a character, was conceived during the Cold War. People didn't like Russia then, very justifiably. There were MANY, MANY horrible things the Soviet Union was responsible for at that time. Prejudices all around were ASTRONOMICAL. And here was Colossus, a heroic Russian character, there to remind you, "hey! These people are still people! Even when we're scared! Even when tensions are high! Even when groups are enacting horrible acts! Individuals still exist, and they are people!" This general attitude is integral to the themes of the comics Colossus was brought into. I think anyone could see how changing Piotr's background because of "controversy" is a kick to the teeth and backasswards with this in mind.

Colossus' Russian home and heritage are important to him and fit within the general overarching ideas of the X-Men. Where Piotr comes from informs us of his perception, things he might have seen or done, and ideas he might have. Throughout the comics, there are multiple points where the differences between him and his peers are observed. It's also obvious he's been exposed to propaganda in his home country, and we see how his teammates handle or fail to handle it. Not to mention, he is shown in direct opposition to Russia and its ideals occasionally, and he also faced prejudice and pushback for his nationality in America concurrently.

AT THE SAME TIME-- While all of the above is true, you don't have to focus on Piotr's country of origin to make a compelling story or character arc with him. It's a PART of him, like his mutation, his art, his farming, his being a brother. No story with Colossus needs to center on (or limit itself to) just one specific facet of his personality. He could incidentally be Russian, as it were (like Deadpool's Colossus).

Leading to; the MCU will probably not have Colossus as a very integral character. In cases like this, historically, the MCU might choose to sand away the uncomfortable parts of a character or make edits to them to ensure they are more palatable/better fit to the story at hand. For this reason, he very well could still be Russian (there ARE Russian characters in the MCU already, after all, I wouldn't see the point in making a fuss of it now), or they could change him for "simplicty's" sake. They might not even give it that much thought.

For a final addition: I would HOPE the minds behind the MCU have the sense to understand that Russia is not interchangeable with Ukraine or Poland and vice versa. Because... those places are not the same. At all.

narrowing the dilfs down to a somewhat workable bracket was, by far, the one of the most nerve-rackings things we've ever done. it has kept us up for nights. bickering in the mods video call over this has ripped this family to shreds. the bracket was longer, shorter, and longer again as we pulled dilfs from the abyss to set them down into the arena. absolutely gutted that we couldn't include everybody, but if your dilf isn't on the main bracket, do not fear. we will not leave a dilf out in the cold to die without honor. they will have their moment.

the dilfs were ranked and seeded based on a very intricate rubric and vibes that included number of nominations so if you see a heavy hitter in a lower bracket than you'd expect, you've nobody but your fellow man to blame.

the first round of dilf death match arena contenders are below the cut. we'll work our way down the bracket with new polls roughly every day. first round seeds like hannibal and bob belcher get a bye week, due to their incredible energy catapulting them into top seed contention, and will not appear until round 2.

I'm for the most part only interested in canon x canon pairings. MxM is my preference. I'll only take on a very limited amount of MxF (with me as the male, as I don't have any female muses I write from the Marvel universe). I might be able to be talked into some canon x OC threads but only MxM for those. I like canon and canon divergent plots. No AUs that are way out there and don't make sense in the context of the Marvel universe. I lean towards romantic pairings and like writing NSFW/smut. I have no triggers or limits and like dark/angsty plots. However, that doesn't necessarily mean I'm interested in doing anything and everything. All characters will be 18+ for these.

Hello and Welcome to the Tea Party! ☕️🫖

As stated in the mini bio, I’m 1/2 American, 1/2 Italian (si, parlo tutte due lingue ☺️). I’m also a huge Disney and Marvel fan. I used to be a huge super fan of Star Wars, but I left the fandom after Disney bought it. I still love most of it and celebrate May 4th, I’m just not active in it. I’m a big history buff, preferring to stay in the 1600-1790’s, mainly the Golden Age of Piracy and the American Revolution. I LOVE dragons (kind of an unhealthy obsession at this point, but you can never have enough dragons in my opinion) and am a big fan of the Eragon series. Recently, I’ve started to get more into book fandoms such as ACOTAR, TOG, FBAA, Fourth Wing, etc., so you might see me lurking over in those areas. However, I tend to bounce back and forth between different fandoms depending on my mood. I am over 21, but I would prefer not to disclose my age.

To clarify, I’m not a fanfic writer, but I am an avid fanfic reader. Please do not expect me to post stuff, I’m mostly using this account to be able to connect better with the fandoms that I am a part of.

As mean as it sounds, I will block people who have nothing more than a profile pic because of the scary amount of bots there are on this platform. It’s nothing personal, I’m just watching out for my own safety. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang—I will not accept critiques about this beautiful and uplifting masterpiece. Grandpa Potts is my favorite 🤣

James Bond—I’m here for Q. Desmond Llewyn was absolutely brilliant (fun fact, he was in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as well); I totally don’t recite the line about the grenade pen all the time. Ben Whishaw is at a very close second.

Austenland—Fantastic. I watch this every time I need a good laugh.

The Eragon Book Series—I refuse to watch the movie, as this is my all time favorite book and book series and I don’t want to ruin it for myself. Favorite characters being Angela, Murtagh, Sapphira, Solembum, Eragon, and Brom. I will occasionally read Murtagh x reader fanfics, but there are so few of them, that I read most of them years ago.

Harry Potter Series—Both books and movies. I also like the Fantastic Beast series. I’m going to be blatantly honest; I’m here for the dragons and Charlie Weasley. Don’t get me wrong, I love the stories and what not, but I have a giant fangirl moment every time he’s mentioned, in the stories, and/or I see dragons. I’m kind of like Lampie from Pete’s Dragon, except I get super excited about dragons, as they are my absolute favorites. 🐉

Hook—As stated with Peter Pan, one of my favorite characters of all time is Captain Hook. Dustin Hoffman was absolutely brilliant in this and I love the idea of Captain Hook facing an adult version of Peter. One of my favorite adaptations of the classic story. 🥹

The American Revolution—Not any film or story in particular, but I do love learning anything I can about the conflict and love the period. The exception to this is the TURN: Washington’s Spies series; I LOVE this series. Definitely my favorite TV series of all time. Hamilton the musical is fine, however I don’t care for Hamilton as a person, so it’s weird for me watching an entire production about him (he was pretty nasty in real life). King George was the only thing I really liked about it. Banastre Tarleton and the Culper Spy Ring are the two big things that I will devour information about the most as they are the most fascinating for me. If it weren’t for the fact that I am broke and don’t have time, I would absolutely join the re-enacting community for this time period.

The Golden Age of Piracy—As stated, I am a big fan of this time period. It spans a pretty long time time (most sources put it between 1690-1720, but there are many events that led to this giant boom and they started long before then), but I my favorite pirate/privateer out of all of them is Benjamin Hornigold. He was such a fascinating person and out of all of the pirates that are most famous, I would argue that he stuck to his moral code the most. Otherwise, same as American Rev; besides Pirates of the Caribbean, I don’t have any stories or films in particular. Black Sails is ok and Our Flag Means Death is hilarious, but I have a problem where I start screaming at the screen about how inaccurate it is (mostly with Black Sails. Out of all the things you could mess up, it shouldn’t be that hard to not mess up one of the biggest things in history that is associated with the start of the rise of piracy in the Caribbean, but apparently I’ve been proved incorrectly) 🤷🏽‍♀️.
