Maybe it's just me, but why was Number Two’s stereotypically rural American family with stereotypically rural American sounding accents who were too afraid to leave the house somehow living in Luxembourg? I watch scenes with them and have to remind myself that they are in Europe and not the rural United States.

It's a weird detail to notice, but the only thing that makes sense is that the mom moved to Europe, stuff happened to make her super paranoid, she settled in Luxembourg, and then never left the house and shamed Number Two for trying to leave. So Number Two and her siblings were born there and never left the house/property, which explains why they have American accents (and everything else about them).

The gambling scene is my favorite scene in season 2 because it’s existence is just hilarious.

It’s like how season 1 basically has the message that cheating is okay but on steroids.

Plus, the lesson of it all is so muddied and all over the place.

It’s just like

“Yeah you shouldn’t cheat in gambling because it’s stealing but here are 3 counter arguments as to why cheating is okay sometimes. Hey! Do you think it’s cheating if you simply use your natural abilities to gain a tactical advantage? What if you really really need that money? Additionally doing the ethical thing and returning your earnings will cause major inconveniences for you in the long run. Also btw cheating in tests is actually totally fine! but not gambling. Gambling is different. Remember kids! Don’t steal!”

And it also teaches children like 2 ways to cheat in gambling.

"counting cards is stealing" is an insane moral for a kids' show. What. What's that doing there why do we need to take that detour

Disney Channel’s Missed Opportunity

So it’s now been almost 2 months since Mysterious Benedict Society was cancelled.

The end of this month, Disney Channel is premiering the 3rd season of Secrets of Sulphur Springs which has a, imo, very similar tone and look, both being TV-PG single camera young ensemble cast mystery adventure shows.

When MBS S2 was airing, they had a weird Tuesday Disney Channel premiere in order for a Disney+ premiere after on Wednesday

What I think would have been a better idea would have been to create a Friday “Mystery Block” and pair up these 2 shows back to back then put the episodes on Disney+ Saturday, which could have given MBS more views, then a random Tuesday night. 

Edited addition: Even Disney+ itself knows it’s similarites as the shows are the first in the suggested tab for the other one...

'The King of Topics' BTS Jin appeared as a quiz on 'Park Ha-sun's Cinetown'… "Which member was mentioned as having the prettiest lips in American dramas and cool style in anime?"

Jin of BTS (BTS) is constantly mentioned even during his military service as an army assistant, proving that he is the king of the topic.

On the corner of SBS Power FM's 'Park Ha-sun's Cinetown', which aired on the 11th, 'Movie Quiz Show - Six Sense', there was a quiz to guess the name of the BTS member.

The presenter, actor Park Ha-sun, said, “First hint, I am serving as an assistant in the 5th Infantry Division of the Republic of Korea Army. Needless to say, Doogi answers that this member's lips are the prettiest. Third hint. I'll tell you a scene from a Netflix animation that mentions this member." After that, after hearing the scene where Jin was mentioned in the US Netflix animation 'Life is always a party!', he played Jin's first solo single, 'The Astronaut'.

After the song was over, Park Ha-sun said, "Yes. Mid 'Genius Girl Doogi' and animation 'Life is always a party!' Each member was referred to as someone with nice lips and a nice hairstyle!
