The difference between book and show Curtain is that if show Curtain was a cat, he’d be a passive-aggressive fancy show cat that would look you dead in the eyes as he jumped up on the counter and knocked one of your glasses onto the floor.

Meanwhile, book Curtain is a scraggly old cat that hisses and yowls whenever anyone gets near him.

These are the only two moments I remembered to snap a picture of, but the whole dang series is just littered with this absolute tomfoolery. At least once, in every chapter, they are tripping over each other, or glueing themselves together at the slightest mention of danger.

I love how in The Mysterious Benedict Society they have the tech for a brain sweeping and mind control, but everyone, including Curtain, is still out here using landline phones.

If Curtain wanted to be rich and powerful, all he had to do was make an iPhone, but nope. Not enough drama involved in that.

formulating a showverse streamer/socmed au with @heyitsthatonesmolgay because i’m insane and i had a dream about streamer shep again.

i’m fascinated by how streamer’s fans interact with them and how you learn things about them from casual comments i wanna see how it would play out. also he would definitely stream art too my favorite artist guy

part of the idea is that several of the characters stream or similar in some capacity, but in very different genres so they don’t interact much online (since they can just talk to eachother) leading it to be a big shock when their fans find out they all know eachother
