You know, I definitely think about songs all the time. When I'm not listening to music, I'm singing it in my head. And this is a great ask because it actually allows me to answer a different kind of ask, so forgive me little leeway:

Fun fact: it was actually the inspiration for Walk With Me. I had a very different vibe in mind for this story and the OFC. She was intended to be a little more naive. And can you just picture August in a buttercream silk Versace shirt? Maybe a few top buttons undone, so that glorious chest hair peeks out? Maybe a gold chain...?

Anyway...yeah. The story did NOT turn out that way, but I had a fun time trying fit some of the details from the song, mostly the cities listed, in to it.

I have a complicated relationship with my mother, she was abusive when I was younger but as I got older she became very dependent on me. I have CPTSD and have held my life back to put her first. Now I have an opportunity to move to a city with a friend. Where I live has a lot of ghosts for me and doing this would bring a numerous amount of positive opportunities and changes for me but I feel like I can't because of my mother. There's so much guilt for even considering it even though I know shouldn't. I want this so badly but it feels like there's a physical block stopping me and I don't know how to move past this

it is always under appreciated how secretive phoenix is like he’s very breezy and hard to nail down. i feel like it’s bc he’s often seen in the context of his relationship with edgeworth but like. edgeworth isn’t cagey. if anything he’s somewhat willing to share a moderate level of personal details if he’s able to, he’s just awkward and very formal and task oriented. phoenix is snarky and impersonal but everyone allows it cause he gets deemed as harmless and goofy. kind of a slay
