So glad to have my digital art ability back!

A rough concept WIP for Mavos 2024, all grown up and feral. Just proud of what I have so far.

My goal was to have at least ONE son of Trechire's that, in looks and tone, takes after her. While Kirr has the Galerions' good looks, his tone leans more towards his father. Fennorian and Rinyu are perfect blends of their parents in looks and tone, and Sunnabela strongly resembles his father in looks and tone.

Not to mention Mavos is a perfect foil to his elder half brother, Aithilo. The two sons of Sotha Sil. Aithilo totally rejects anything clockwork related, sticking to his worship of Sithis (in the Argonian sense) and embracing Tamriel's natural beauty. Mavos is more accepting to his father's legacy, but to the point that he is acutely aware of the multiverse (like Trechire is) and aggresively makes sure people and/or things stay in their proper place.

I kinda get Maliketh vibes in the sense that "there wasn't a daedric prince that didn't fear him" suits him.

Onthulling bouwbord nieuwbouw MY college Spijkenisse!

Op de foto Vlnr: (scheidend) bestuurder Onderwijsgroep Galilei: Paul Slier, voormalig directeur MY college (en thans ‘bouwpastoor’) Ruud Vet, directeur MY college Marjolein Scholten, (sinds 1 juni 2023) bestuurder Juliette Bouw en wethouder (o.a. onderwijs) Wouter Struijk.

MY college is een brede school voor mavo en vmbo en staan voor hoogwaardig en uitdagend onderwijs. De nieuwbouw inclusief gymzaal wordt energie­neutraal. Het onderwijs dat door MY college wordt aangeboden is MY learning. Leerlingen krijgen door middel van deze vorm van onderwijs de mogelijkheid om zich persoonlijk op hun eigen tempo te ontwikkelen.

Wij zijn verantwoordelijk voor de nieuwbouw. We hebben de opdracht verworven voor het begeleiden van het volledige project middels Risicodragend Projectmanagement (RPM).

Book side of Tumblr! I need help finding a book for my sister!

So, back in Mavo (or middle school for other places) she read a book that had an orange-colored book cover with a tan boy on it. The book was about this young boy who lived with his sister in a boring neighborhood, and he was bored until new neighbors moved in, another young boy and his grandpa. The sister in the book apparently died after being hit by a car. The boy and his grandpa turn out to be aliens, and my sister insists that they are turtle aliens, who help the boy get his sister back using time travel, but they (the boy and his friend, the turtle alien) never see each other again and apparently the boy doesn't remember his neighbor at the end either. We've been looking for it everywhere, but can't find it, though we found many others looking for the same book. If anyone could help us find the book, it would be very much appreciated!

For more information, it was a Duth/Nehterlands book with, I think, the word Neighbor/Buurman in the title (Something Like, 'My Neighbor/Mijn Buurman' in it or something). The book is probably from around the late 20th to the early 21st century. It was read in Mavo (Middle School-ish), so it was most likely a kids book or a teen book, for ages 11/12 and up.

Dus toen ze terug was in Mavo (of op de middelbare school voor andere plaatsen) las ze een boek met een oranje boekomslag met een lichtbruine jongen erop.

Het boek ging over deze jonge jongen die met zijn zus in een saaie buurt woonde, en hij verveelde zich totdat er nieuwe buren kwamen wonen, een andere jonge jongen en zijn opa.

De zus in het boek stierf blijkbaar nadat ze door een auto was aangereden.

De jongen en zijn opa blijken buitenaardse wezens te zijn, en mijn zus houdt vol dat het buitenaardse schildpadden zijn, die de jongen helpen zijn zus terug te krijgen door middel van tijdreizen, maar zij (de jongen en zijn vriend, de buitenaardse schildpad) zien elkaar nooit. nog een keer en blijkbaar herinnert de jongen zich zijn buurman op het einde ook niet meer.

We hebben er overal naar gezocht, maar kunnen het niet vinden, ook al vonden we vele anderen die naar hetzelfde boek zochten.

Als iemand ons zou kunnen helpen het boek te vinden, zou dat zeer gewaardeerd worden!

Voor meer informatie: het was een Nederlands/Nederlands boek met volgens mij het woord Buurman/Buurman in de titel. Het boek dateert waarschijnlijk van eind 20e tot begin 21e eeuw. Het werd gelezen in het Mavo (Middenschool-achtig), dus het was hoogstwaarschijnlijk een kinderboek of een tienerboek, voor kinderen van 11/12 jaar en ouder.

I'm sorry about the lack of Picture or banner it took me literally an hour and a half to find the source for the second pic and the closest I got was a reblog from January of 2022. I was scrolling for so long, I didn't have the motivation to edit the pictures. Sorry the front triggers are so short too the Mogai horde was a bit draining. I hope this is alright!

Also I had a slightly hard time figuring out what exactly Inverted DSMP meant but I ended up on Roleswap!DSMP and it stuck in my brain. If this isn't what you were thinking I can make another pack. But like even tho Roleswap!DSMP is what I went with I couldn't find anything when it came to Q.

Yea okay I’m gonna do the Dutch school niveau thingy

(If you don’t want the explanation, go to the green text. It starts there-)

Let’s start with what what means and Dutch people. Please help me with Mavo and vmbo. I rarely interact with them and don’t really know-

So, is dutch people normally go to a primary school for about 8 years. We’ll get tests and at the end a Cito toets. Then they give us an advice.

If it is a little in between (een twijfel geval) we get a mix. For example, I have Havo/vwo and a friend of mine has Havo/mavo.

We have different levels amd different kinds of names for those levels. (If I can’t explain it, I am sorry-)

Vwo- vwo is the highest you can get. This prepares you for the university. It lasts 6 years in total

Havo- Havo is, in my experience, a bit easier than vwo. You can also get onto university with this. This lasts 5 years

Mavo- im pretty sure you can also get into the university with mavo. This lasts 4 years

Vmbo- vmbo is the lowest and you mainly get physical lessons. Like baking, taking care of animals, ect. This also lasts 4 years

(listen, I don’t know shit about this vmbo and had to redo this post like 10 times already. I’m sorry😭-)

Also, these are just the things my school has, so if I missed any, PLEASE CORRECT ME

There are also a few special classes.

Tto- tto stand for ‘twee talig onderwijs’ or in English, bilingual education. Most of the lessons with this are in English and you sometimes travel to another country. There are also exchange programs. Sadly tto is only for Havo and vwo

Sport klas- sport klas is for sporty people. Sometimes the second years prepare sport days for the school. They also get to skip lessons some times to do the sport

Kunst breed- kunst breed is with art. In my school, every Friday the people who filled in the papers for this go to the ACD classroom and make art.

Now finally onto what I think the people would do:

Will: probably Havo or mavo/havo. He might do sport klas but I’m not sure

Horace: mavo sport klas. Listen, this man is pretty good at grammar and begrijpend lezen. He seems like a person to be very good in Dutch if he was dutch

Crowley: havo/vwo tto. If I can do it, this guy can do it too.

Halt: also havo/vwo tto. But I feel like he’d also do kubstbreed

Alyss: vwo tto. Do I even need to explain??

Pauline: vwo. Really liked languages

Arald: mavo and I feel like he and Rodney really liked medieval history. Because you know, knights and sword fights

Rodney: mavo sportklas

Jenny: Vmbo. She is really, really, REALLY good at the cooking and likes to do things with her hands

George: vwo tto. He’s good at languages. Really good. (Please give me your skills, George)

Gilan: he either has like havo/vwo or vmbo. I cannot decide. But of course he does sportklas
