Marriage
Chapters :43
Lilyca is a poor girl who used to spend every day with her alcoholic mother.
However, one day...
"Kyaa, it's hot! No!"
Her mother woke up screaming and nonsensically asked, "Lily, you're alive! Have you gotten younger?"
"What's the date?"
She'd lost her mind!
"This can't be... I've come back!"
She started spouting more puzzling things, even going so far as to say, "We need to go to the Imperial Ball and meet the Emperor!"

RANT:
I read a lot of manga and I just wanna say that age gaps in children don't work because the maturity level is too different.
I've seen so many comics where the fl is like 2 and meet a love interest who is 6 and the love interest can't stop thinking about the fl and they meet again when the fl is like 5 so the love interest would be 9 and they are smitten.
The biggest age gap you can do in children under the age of 16 is 1 year (maybe 2 if they are older teens).
When I was a kid I was around a lot of kids of different ages. When I was 8-10 I helped look after my dad's friend's child whenever they were over and she was 3-5. Sure 5 years is a huge age gap.
There was another time I helped with my mom's friend's kids (older one was 7/8 younger one 2) when I was 11. The 3 years difference between me and the older child made him seem like a baby to me cause he was on a completely different maturity level.
These artists need to think back to when they were those ages (or even in their teens) and remember how they viewed kids younger than them. To adults those age differences are minimal and as you grow up it's easier to just see all children as similar despite the ages, but if your story is centred around children then you need to remember that kinda shit.

The True Identity of Lu Guang
A Link Click Theory
Ok guys, we all learn from the ending of s2 that Lu Guang is actually his future self from the ‘original’ timeline possessing the Lu Guang from the current timeline. But clearly, there’s more. Something else.
No known age or blood type? That’s a bit strange, isn’t it? I understand the age thing would have to do with the diving-back-in-time itself, but blood type?
Tumblr media
And what’s with all the cat symbolism?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All three main characters do have animal counterparts, but Lu Guang is the only one with so much cat merch in the donghua. Qiao Ling has her bunny phone case, but that’s it. And Cheng Xiaoshi doesn’t own anything dog-related.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lu Guang literally wears a cat pyjama set for most of season 2.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok, so why’s the cat motif important? This is where it gets interesting.
The one possessing Lu Guang is a cat.
Stick with me yall.
So remember Elizabeth, the cat Cheng Xiaoshi brought in the chibi episodes? Lu Guang refuses to take it in, and he gets super upset after the cat scratches him.
Tumblr media
Not only does his behaviour in this scene reflects catlike coping strategies, but his and Elizabeth’s behaviour in the two shorts reflect typical cat mating behaviour.
Tumblr media
Elizabeth seems to want Lu Guang’s constant attention and rubs against him.
Tumblr media
She also rolls over on her back in a ‘seductive manner’, despite only knowing him for like, a day.
These behaviours are more frequent in cats in heat (cats can reach sexual maturity as kittens). Elizabeth even begins to dislike Cheng Xiaoshi, possibly because she sees him as a threat in what should be a safe territory, or competition she just doesn’t want.
Tumblr media
But cats do these around humans anyway, so how does it relate to Lu Guang being a cat?
Well, don’t forget he exhibits cat mating behaviours too.
While only female cats go in heat, male cats can respond to pheromones released from these females. These pheromones are powerful attractants that can travel through air, able to communicate their reproductive status and desires to potential mates. The males can detect these pheromones and engage in behaviours to pursue the female.
This response can include vocalisations + roaming to find the source of the pheromones, displays of physical prowess/aggression to fight off competition and impress the female, rubbing, following of females and unusually affectionate behaviour.
The presence of Elizabeth’s pheromones could have been what triggered Lu Guang’s sudden liking to her.
Tumblr media
Now we can’t say Lu Guang displayed all of these behaviours, but not all male cats do. We can say, however, that he was particularly attached to Elizabeth, quite unusually indeed.
Remember when I mentioned his unknown age and blood type? Well, if you add the context of a cat possessing him, then it makes sense. Obviously, cats age differently to humans - a 1 year old cat is just 15 in human age, while a 5 year old cat is well into their 30s.
As for the blood type, cats have 3: Type A, B and AB. Compare this to the 8 human blood types, O+, O-, A+, A-, B+, B-, AB+ and AB-. It makes sense for these to be ‘unknown’ in Lu Guang’s character bio, to hide this twist.
All of this seems like far-fetched speculation based on observed behaviours and what-ifs. But how does a cat possessing Lu Guang fit into the narrative?
Okay. Imagine you’re a cat, just a street cat living your best life, and you somehow wake up to find you’re in a new place, with a new body, new feelings and new memories. You can also suddenly talk to humans, whom you’ve previously had a many dice rolls of experiences with. If you feared for your safety from these humans, wouldn’t you try to pretend nothing’s up?
The cat that found itself possessing Lu Guang sure did. It adopted Lu Guang’s entire identity. I believe the incident occurred some time before the events of the donghua. If you’ve ever read the Link Click manhua, you may have noticed that Lu Guang is written ever so slightly… nicer? Softer?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If the manhua is set before the donghua, and if the cat started possessing Lu Guang between these times (perhaps in the ‘original’ timeline), Lu Guang’s colder personality in the donghua is explained.
It would be a major plot twist to find out the Lu Guang we know isn’t human at all.
Some other details that point toward Lu Guang’s feline secret:
He likes sleeping, sunbathing and gourmet food. Obvious cat behaviour
His assigned flower is the forget-me-not, completely safe around cats, while Cheng Xiaoshi’s is the daisy and Qiao Ling’s is the hyacinth, which both happen to be toxic to cats.
He can’t tolerate spice (please do not feed your cats spicy food)
Tumblr media
if you look closely, sometimes his hair kinda looks like it has cat ears.
Hes just generally catlike, yknow?
Not to mention, HIS SLIT PUPILS IN EVERY. SINGLE. OFFICIAL. ART.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s more obvious if you compare it to other characters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In conclusion, this whole time, Lu Guang has been possessed by a cat.
Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk. *mic drop*

SAD CHENG XIAOSHI 😭
I love a sunshine boi who isn't always smiley and goofy. Cheng Xiaoshi has such an emotional depth and care for others, resolve and understanding that is quite well developed and explored. I'm also glad Link Click chose characters in their 20s rather than YA which you see in a lot of supernatural media, because they are more emotionally mature.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love the Manhua.
Cheng Xiaoshi begins to cry after this, and Lu Guang casually wipes a tear from his cheek. I'm not joking.
On another note, SMILING LU GUANG
Tumblr media
Well it's a tiny smile, but his eyes are soft.
And Manhua, THANK YOU FOR GIVING THEM CHINS. Hahaha.

Top 5 best manga/manhua/manhwa I've read this year
This was the year of pretty artstyles
1. A bride's story
- One of my favorite anthology-like stories. Each story was a delight and an experience with no bad or uninteresting dynamics. I love the proper integration and representation of culture and history. And the beautiful artstyle, omg.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Mother's Contract Marriage
- another absolutely gorgeous artstyle, although it had be taken aback at first. One of the most lovable children in a manhua whose maturity and childishness is very well realistic according to her circumstances. A lovely read.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Miss not-so-sidekick
- I have reread this gem multiple times only THIS year and I know I'll be rereading it a lot more in the years to come. A great take on someone reincarnating as a side character and one of the most humorous reads ever. I love the main character more than life itself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. The fragrant flower blooms with dignity
- the most adorable romance manga I have read this year. AND the most adorable found family manga I've read this year. AND ALSO the most adorable coming of age manga I've read this year. Need I say more?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Toilet bound Hanako-kun
- a reread that ABSOLUTELY needed to make a cameo as it is one of my best reads of this year. AND because mitsukou canon is my biggest event of 2023. Overall, no matter how much I read it, it's as good and hype as the first time!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Happy new years guys! Hope this year is also filled with many interesting reads to discover and love!!

TW: NSFW
I realized lots of those historical fiction comics made by Asians (Not racism, I'm an Asian myself), Manga, manhwha, Manhua not all of them treat the dark mature topics they first introduced well, it's like those topics are just added for shock values and are basically "Yeah so this person here did that, they're basically the worst scums of the world"
Like I remember that there's this anime which is made from a Manga, it's like those Royal OIs nowadays, I didn't bother to check if it's OI, anyway the story started with the Crown Prince who's ex-fiancé of the FL, he apparently committed incest with his sister and only got engaged with FL to use her as a meat bag camouflage so he can get away with his bullshit and the story ended up with the FL having a pink rosy romance with her magical beast man
I'm not against comedy, quirkiness or outright funny nonsense in Fiction, ppl can still make dark AF stories with some humours and bright colors, but the tonal whiplash with that anime just gives me a weird feeling, like I thought the story could go in depth with the Crown Prince as a major antagonist (When is the Asian historical fiction genre gonna start treating Crown Princes with the respect of antagonists they should have and not being treated like scummy punching bags for the readers and authors to unleash their anger at or just basically a dumb plot device trash bag). Like that Prince had potentials as shitty as he is, the story could go deeper into depth about why he's so fucked up and why he did incest, incest isn't bad at all in Fiction if used correctly, instead of just forcing modern ideals onto a historical fantasy needlessly (Boohoo incest is bad, anyone who does it is a scummy asshole), it just feels so off putting
Just because someone did unconventional stuff, they're automatically bad is just a bad perspective to have, it's basically being willfully blind towards actual problems
The only instance where Crown Princes are treated as the Villains they are, it's Eros and Alexo from Your Throne and Kill the Villainess respectively, we got to see how both are so messed up in their own ways and get their own personal chapters, which I believe is how you treat Villains right
I believe that every character deserves their basic decency and respect, not in treating them as good, but treat them as they are, Villains deserve to be their own characters, not just a hate bag, like what they did with Sovieshu and Rashta (I'm damn sure they're just made to be hated and not considered as anything worthwhile other than being targets of hate)
Yes even with utter scums, you should try to have decency cuz if you act hateful towards them all the time eventually you're just no better than them (This isn't a moral lesson)
I've seen cases of people getting hated cuz they're involved with bad people from the public, like there's this scene in a Chinese series I think, it was about crimes and lawyers, a lawyer who defends the criminal get yelled at after a trial by the lawyer of the victim, who apparently lost to the other party, she put the other lawyer into the same kind of people as his client, a criminal, all because the lawyer took the side of his client, are you fucking kidding me? The guy was being verbally abused RIGHT IN A COURTHOUSE BY A LAWYER NO LESS cuz he did his job??
The criminal lawyer gave a retort right back to the woman that made me think: "Instead of standing here yelling at me and treating me like I'm the partner in crime of my client, why don't YOU focus on your client and find actual proof to back up your claims"
You see this is a case of how ignoring the obvious and getting all emotional can be damaging, a lot of ppl don't understand that criminals get rights too cuz the laws don't know what is what until everything gets sorted out, even if the lawyer dislikes it, he has to defend his client the best he can without prejudices, cuz trust me, the moment anyone involved in the trials show that they're not even impartial enough, the case become a bust and the verdicts go nowhere. This was actually talked about by an actual lawyer, not the scene I mentioned but it was similar: A lawyer being treated like scum by the public cuz he represents the criminal hated by the public since to them, it means he automatically sided with the Criminal, he literally gets publicly attacked for doing his job, it's to show that the law business isn't for the weak at all
This is all a case of letting the emotions get the best of you that you basically ignored everything, Rashta was written to be hated so that everyone ignores the clear obvious that is the entire story, there's the concept that once the hatred gets to your brain, your mind can't think of anything else at all, to me, this shows me that despite being taught to be decent to everyone as a child, adults are sure to be quick to hate and get biased without knowing anything, I know cuz I was the same, I'm trying my best to fix it cuz apparently it has become a societal thing so it's effectively contagious and everyone just treat it as "You're just overthinking" when you pointed it out
I believe this is like that title I heard once about before, "The Hate you spread"
I also have moments where my own emotions are treated as unvalidated hence you can see why I stress a lot about the mind aspect of characters, cuz a character with no mind isn't a character, just something with a tag and a role to play, they have nothing else besides their assigned roles
So yeah I think that at least let the villains have their moments, cuz I honestly get so tired with blind rage cuz I dislike being treated like that, that I'm being blindly angry at nothing
I think that bright colored happy go lucky stories can have dark elements too but it at least needs to be balanced out, else it's just off and on most of the time, sure it's not like I hate happy stories that promote positivity and love, but seeing them introducing terrible stuff and then ignores it when they want to and brings it up when they want, it feels strangely obnoxious, it's like that person who always act happy with you, but then when issues came up, they immediately pull out the fact you screw up once just to fault you into being wrong
Wow, this was a really good essay you wrote.
It is definitely a huge problem with a lot of east Asian media I read where the use of dark topics like SA and incest are inserted in for either fetish reasons or an attempt to call it out but it just falls flat because it isn't an integral part of the story.
I could not agree more with your take that villains all need to be treated as characters and not punching bags. There's nothing wrong about actually hating one of your characters but if your hatred for said character is getting in the way of the plot then your going to end up with something like miraculous ladybug.
Miraculous ladybug is a magical girl show set in France that was originally about the misadventures of Ladybug and Chat Noir until Chat was basically tossed to the side to make room for random superheroes that played little role in the plot after their signature episode. Chloe was the typical rich girl bully that made the main character, Marinette, miserable however in season 2 she got the beginnings of a redemption arc that was actually fleshing out her character until Thomas Astruc came back, completely destroyed the redemption arc and tried to erase it by making Chloe so cartoonishly evil (the girl literally takes over the role as mayor of Paris which like... what? How the hell was that allowed? Thomas, make it make sense!)
This kind of writing flaw where the bad guys are so incompetently evil yet your supposed to take them seriously are just so pitiful to watch when you realize they exist solely to make everything else look good.
I actually can get really into tonal whiplash (when it's made well of course) simply because of the very real nature that not everything is as it seems and everything good or bad has its dark layers. The amazing digital circus does this excellently for example by combining vibrant colors and shapes to match the aesthetic of a nostalgic video game and designing the characters to all resemble childhood related toys or objects while combining it with the "I have no mouth and I must scream" vibes that force the characters out of the safe space of the circus and into the often traumatizing adventures.
But I can definitely see what you mean when there's just dark stuff for the sake of quickly hashing up something for either hating a character or for edginess to make the work feel more adult in that way. I've read many manga and manhwa that unfortunately were kind of icky to read when they pulled the rape scene card only to move on like it was nothing once the girl was saved, hell even some of my most favorite anime aren't safe from using sexual assault for quick shock value.

Mu Yao's response: You're misunderstanding Fuyi.
Random thoughts I had about the novel after watching the drama.
In the novel, Mu Sheng pushes Mu Yao to break up with Liu Fuyi. There are better guys out there. He's indiscriminately nice to everyone! (An unforgivable crime in Mu Sheng's eyes, lol.)
He feels that Liu Fuyi has been leading his sister on. She's known him for five years. From Mu Sheng's perspective, Liu Fuyi has been making excuses to push off the marriage.
Mu Yao's response: You're misunderstanding Fuyi.
At the time, I was on Mu Sheng's side. Why hasn't Liu Fuyi proposed after five years? Mu Yao deserves better.
Episode 15 got me thinking though. How did they spend the past 5 years? Mu Sheng's mere presence is coming in between them. How can Liu Fuyi and Mu Yao's relationship progress when he's been like a koala bear on Mu Yao before MiaoMiao joins the group? And I'm sure, he worked to discredit Liu Fuyi at every opportunity. His sabotage combined with Liu Fuyi being Liu Fuyi.
Tumblr media
^ Exhibit A: Mu Yao helping her tsundere brother and paving the way for a work date for herself. Finally, a date night after 5 years.
Mu Yao to Mu Sheng: I'm worried about leaving MiaoMiao alone. You stay with her. Fuyi and I will go to the Astronomical Bureau.
Liu Fuyu nods.
Tumblr media
^ Exhibit B:
Liu Fuyi after seeing Mu Yao alone at a romantic spot: I think A'Sheng wants to duel me. You should go back first.
Mu Yao: …?
Tumblr media
^ Exhibit C: Blushing from holding hands after 5 years! 5 years!
---
^ Exhibit D: Can't forget my all-time favorite. shijiujun's comments make the show even better.
---
Exhibit E: More complicated reason.
In the novel, on the boat, MiaoMiao asks Liu Fuyi why he doesn't just talk to Mu Yao. From her perspective, their conflict is just a misunderstanding, and everything can be solved by communicating.
This is his response:
"Over the years, Yao'er and I have long become accustomed to shouldering everything on our own. Rather than say we're lovers... it would be better to say we're partners. We depend on each other, but we also compete with each other. In this relationship, we're afraid of losing to the other. A single loss means an unrecoverable defeat..." He looked at MiaoMiao with the sympathetic eyes of an elder and
Mu Yao and Liu Fuyi's relationship is one between two adults. They have other considerations beyond love, so they hesitate. Whereas, MiaoMiao and Mu Sheng's relationship is like first love in high school or college. They don't have worries beyond what if the other person doesn't like me.
---
Things that Liu Fuyi has going for him that I think is clearer in the novel. Mu Yao shows annoyance towards Liu Fuyi when the women that he saves pursue him, but just like in the drama, she trusts him and is mature enough to understand that he's not intentionally encouraging them. And, as Mu Sheng tells us early on in the novel, Mu Yao likes Liu Fuyi because he's a righteous hero.
Li Fuyi is very thoughtful and gentlemanly. The author shows him doing little things in the background to take care of the group. In both the drama and the novel, he shows a friendly attitude towards her unreasonable brother. In the novel though, as Liu Fuyi gets emotionally invested in playing wingman, he is a big advocate for Mu Sheng when she worries that her brother is dangerous to MiaoMiao, which I think scores huge points with her.
---
All this to say, Mu Sheng isn't a reliable narrator. I think after Liu Fuyi and Mu Yao finally get married, Mu Sheng does admit to himself that Liu Fuyi is a good guy, not sure if that line is shown in the manhua version.
---
Tumblr media
^ MiaoMiao hiding her smile that Mu Sheng doesn't get to go either. It's like they're being left at home while Mu Sheng's parent figures finally get a night out. Ep 15 was so fun to watch.

Random DC movie musings.
Tumblr media
There are already quite a lot of thoughts, rants, complaints and appreciations floating on the internet regarding the DC movies so I thought let's just add one more :P
Movie 26 - Black iron submarine -
Well there has been in discussion for quite a lot of reasons but what I rarely saw was
RAN AND CONAN (SHINICHI) WERE SHARING THE ROOOMMMM!!!!
In all the DC movies, Its always Ran and Sonoko always sharing the room or she is with Kazuha or in a rare instance with the Haibara and Ayumi.
Well that also gave us an iconic combat scene and dammnnn I was definately happy and surprised to see them share a room especially when Sonoko was very much there in the resort with them.
From the Haibara angle, it was pitiful when she cried thinking of her sister when poor Naomi was breaking down for her father. But also kind of bittersweet when Ran hugs her in relief upon her rescue and she thinks of her elder sister again and this time in reassurance.
A small nugget but well presented I guess.
2. Movie 27 - A million dollar pentagram/signpost
Well I haven't really watched it yet but lets just say that enough people have had a mental breakdown because of this movie.
So I do not know how crazy does this fandom does research and all but-
a) Gosho Aaoyama had actually revealed a long time back that Toichi Kuroba is alive ~ around 2010-11, so the Japanese audience kinda already knew. It was mostly the international audience, who do not have much access to the old interviews or that which remain untranslated which were taken by surprise, perhaps.
b) Is Toichi hiding/faking his death a bad thing?
In my opinion - NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Because
He is a father of a very young boy. Toichi is literally investigating shady organisations using his alias of Kaitou Kid. His identity reveal with directly put his wife and son in danger. He is well aware of the dangers related to the job how else is he supposed to protect his son? No parent would want to be on a run with a young child that would be far more worse for a young Kaitou.
Even after faking his death, it's not like he can directly contact his wife because if his death is orchestrated then for sure his wife and child will be under some type of surveillance. He really needs to maintain secrecy.
His faith in Kaitous's brilliance is something to applaud for and his own genius. He left a perfect trap mechanism for an older and bit more mature Kaito to whom he can entrust the comeback of Kaitou kid and if anyone had been reading the magic kaitou manga then Toichi has already made an appearance in the manga as well (most likely) as Kaitou Corbeau, it was around the same time as the interview.
This 'Kaitou Corbeau' also claims that he is coming back after an 8 year hiatus because he was recovering from an illness.
Also is it really surprising that Toichi faked his death?
Akai has faked his death and is hiding it from his family except Shukichi. He is not very keen on letting his mom and sis know about his whereabouts.
Conan too is hiding and holding too many secrets from Ran.
Also in Japanese culture or rather east Asian countries the kids are extremely independent even from a young age.
Apparently, there was a Japanese reality TV show which had three-year-olds running errands for their parents!!! Freaking as young as three!!! It was greatly enjoyed by the audience and they found it very endearing as well.
But even apart from this. In Japanese, Chinese and Korean manga. manhua and manhwa respectively it is very common to show kids as young as 13-14 living by themselves. We feel it's wrong and neglectful but at least in the DCMK storyline, these teenagers are far well put together. Apart from solving murder mysteries, these kids are talented and well-disciplined even without direct parental supervision and the best part being, even after being distant they maintain a good parent-child relationship no matter how much we think otherwise.
Be it Yusaku and Yukiko being supportive.
Eri consistently spending time with Ran,
Heizo Hattori's Tough Love approach towards grooming his son.
Ginshiro Toyama looking out for his daughter
Sonoko, considering she is an heiress is also quite sensitive to the people around her.
Even Chikage who is shown to be travelling but is shown video calling Kaito frequently.
The bad parent may be Kogoro and Midoroko most likely but its not their fault.
Kogorou is most certainly supposed to be a comic relief so him being hopeless is just how its supposed to be.
Modoriko (Aoko's mom) has been nonchalantly introduced in the DCMK universe after 30+ years so can't blame her either per se.
Who knows we might end up seeing a similar pattern if Kazuha's mother ever gets introduced?
But DC women are far better written and empowered than many other series. They have their own stories and are pretty fleshed-out and individualistic personalities.
Also sorry for the Kaishin supporters. I have just have consolation hugs for you guys.
I was MAJORLY pissed when Miyano sisters were related to the Akai family. Apart from the reveal it just completely invalidated Amuro's character. He became the worst possible guy in the series. Again, not his fault but Gosho Aaoyama's poor writing. The problem is I am too deep into this series and even if the author keep contunuing it for the next 20 years I know for sure that I will still hopelessly spend my time reading it. ****Painful sobs**** For more feel free to read a different post of mine titled - My problem with the Akai family plot.
********
Let me know what you guys think!!!
Typed this out quite late at night so forgive me for grammatical errors

here to save your life.
Mo Dao Zu Shi (alternate names: Founder of diabolism, Grandmaster of demonic cultivation or mdzs for short) is an danmei novel written by Mo Xiang Tong Xu also known as mxtx in the fandom (we love you our god) which was originally published in 2016. Till now it has had multiple adaptations including an donghua, manhua, live action as well as a chibi version and an audio drama.
I highly suggest to send your support for the novel through official sites but since a lot of people can't afford to buy the books or watch and listen to the adaptations because of different issues of their own, I will be linking the places where these are available for free so that no one has to go through much trouble finding them.
Just a reminder that some of these are not official sites where the adaptations were aired which technically makes them (slightly) illegal but that's too common in the fandom so if you're new no you're not going to jail. The websites are safe and I will give specifications to avoid ads just in case.

The novel has a total of 126 chapters. The main story consists of 113 chapters and the other 13 are extras. Reading the novel was my best decision ever and I can bet my life that you won't be disappointed with it. The characters, the storyline, the freaking lines. Everything is perfect from the top and to the bottom. It has been rated mature as it includes explicit content and slight non-con?? It wasn't really non-con but then also maybe it was. It's debatable really trust me on this. You can read it here. Happy reading!!!

To put it simply donghua is Chinese animation. Most people say that it's just anime but Chinese. But from experience I can say that don't say it out loud cause it makes some people really angry. The mdzs donghua has 3 seasons having 15, 8 and 12 episodes respectively. The chibi version is called Mo Dao Zu Shi Q and has 30 episodes consisting of 5-6 mins each.
Season 1 can be watched here.
Season 2 can be watched here.
Season 3 can be watched here.
Chibi version can be watched here.
(Tip: Download the brave browser from playstore before clicking the links as it blocks the ads completely so you can watch in peace. It is safe.)

Manhua refers to a Chinese comic. The mdzs manhua has a total of 259 chapters. But due to our luck they have been censored which have left a few people banging their head on the wall (including me). But do not worry cause those chapters can be found on twitter. But really tho how hard is it to uncensore a kiss?? Nvm moving on from my despair you can read the manhua here.
And if you have the unquenchable thirst to read the uncensored scenes then you can find them by just searching on Google tho it has been said that the manhua publishing company will publish them soon enough.
Edit: THANK YOU TO THAT ONE ANGEL ON INSTA i got to know about the website which has been posting about the uncensored scenes here.
𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
This part is my fav I swear. The live-action is called The Untamed and has a total of 50 episodes consisting of 43-45 mins each. They are all available on youtube for free!! I will still link them all here. They are absolutely breathtaking. Due to the Chinese censorship the plot has been altered but there's not much of a difference according to me. I do think that the romance is a bit subtle but it's there. You can feel it through the screen and it makes you swoon so bad. I'm completely in love with the drama. It's so beautifully done.
There is also a special edition of the drama with the same name which consists of 20 episodes with the duration time of almost an hour on each episode. It was made for international fans with a different ending and focuses more on the relationship btw our male leads instead of the plot. Some scenes have been cut and some have been added. It's just as amazing. It's available here. The first 3 episodes are also available on youtube.
(Again don't forget to use the brave browser to remove ads)
𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮
Man the audio drama is just....perfect. There is not a single thing I can complain about. The emotions are perfectly conveyed. The audio effects of fighting or the sound of their breathing, even the slightest sounds have been added so make it as real as possible and it certainly does it's job. Earlier the audio drama was fully available on YouTube but unfortunately it has now been deleted. You can access it by joining the discord server of Treasure Chest Subs. Here is the link along with the steps on how to join on their website.

The rest is up to you of course!!! Hope you have fun with MDZS. I love it so much and I hope you will too now. This is my top danmei and there definitely is a reason for that. Happy journey to MDZS hell ;) P.S. If the links do not work or if you're having any problems with it please let me know. I will keep on updating the links if they are changed by any chance so it won't be much of a hassle.

Can you recommend any cool romance related manga?
Sseeing how this is a yandere blog, I will give you some of my suggestions on that end. Most of these can be found online.
Killer in Love (completed): although I was not that satisfied with the ending, this is one of my favourites. It is quite dark, psychological, and tragic with some excellent introspective panels.
Happy Sugar Life (completed): I would give the same the description as above, only add a mutual tender love and generally more cute scenes.
Love of Kill (ongoing): it is similar to Spy x Family with spies and rival organisations. It's not particularly yandere, but there is a decent amount of violence.
Ennead (ongoing): this BL manhua/webcomic is based off of Ancient Egyptian mythology, so note that I am heavily biased towards my preexisting interests. It is very mature so discretion is heavily advised.
I made a number of manga caps from Ojou to Banken-Kun, Assassin x Cinderella, and Chotto Kiken na Amaama Onii-san, but that is primarily because I like to use the art and less because of the plot and characters.
I hope this helped some- my tastes in manga are generally not romance.

Rival investigators Cui Buqu and Feng Xiao embark on a diplomatic journey westward, hoping to build a key alliance that will stand against the power-hungry Eastern Khaganate. But they get more than they bargained for when they stop to rest at the oasis city of Qiemo, where they find a haunted inn, a beleaguered Sui magistrate, and the city divided between two powerful self-styled rulers. Despite their larger mission, Cui Buqu has an audacious idea—one that will turn the city upside down and bring Qiemo back under Sui control if he succeeds. Even Feng Xiao must admit that, while Cui Buqu’s schemes are outrageous, there’s something increasingly intriguing about this sickly chief of the Zuoyue Bureau. Yet more is at stake in the city than petty power struggles: as the investigative duo digs into the underbelly of Qiemo, they uncover evidence of a conspiracy that stretches across Great Sui and beyond.

Warning for future followers:
Tumblr media
I don’t care what people ship, read, watch, listen, consume or discuss. I try to follow and practice don’t like it don’t engage with it and live and let live.
Before we make any judgment, remember, that context matters. Nothing is black and white, no creator is perfect, and every one of us has said, done, and indulged in activities that have hurt someone! Hence, engage in things with maximum contextual awareness before making a decision.
Some things don’t need a devil’s advocate, so treat them from the POV of how you can learn from the past instead of trying to justify it!
Racism, transphobia, homophobia, fat phobia, antisemitism, being anti-Palestinian, Islamophobia are bad! Any idea that tells you—that other humans need to be oppressed and eliminated, and their experiences discredited, is BAD!
I am an antinatalist, so my world-view is screwed up, and I do not entertain or encourage or endorse ideas of eugenics pandered in the name of antinatalism.
I have severe depression, and I have opinions about anything and everything!
If you are a minor following me, please be aware, contents and opinions I share are mature, NSFW, and sensitive, most of the things I share totally depend on my day’s depression and anxiety.
And I do not like distortion of spellings, misuse, or lack of tags and watering down meaning for sensitive topics. As deliberate misspelling and distortion make the purpose of muting, meaning-making and blocking redundant! So don’t write wrong spellings or water-down meanings of words! I will report you if I see you doing this!
Who gets blocked?
And if you are an account with no profile pic/no bio/no activity who suddenly followed me: I will choose to believe you are a bot and block you.
And if I see accounts anti or people with DNI instructions to my ships, I block them in advance to save all of us the headache of running into each other.
My thoughts on censorship
My thoughts on why shipping
My thoughts on age-gap romance
Tumblr media
And use that block button before you think you need to be SJW on someone’s posts!
And my main obsession
My favourite ani/manga is One Piece.
I am obsessed with One Piece, I started watching the series at 11, and it has been 20 years as a One Piece fangirl!
So, yes, I will bite you if you badmouth the story without any reason or explanation.
My concerns about One Piece Live Action and why I think Netflix is the problem.
My thoughts on the first teaser-trailer of One Piece Live Action.
We don’t accept Iñakï hate in this house!
My other obsessions
I love 2gether the Series and Still 2gether, and am devoted to loving BrightWin. That doesn’t mean I can’t distinguish between fiction and reality.
So I will not cry in future when Bright and Win find partners in future and live their lives. [Edited: Bright is dating now, and delulu fans proved me again they are idiots.]
I absolutely do not support people demanding Fan service or so-called proof of love from BrightWin as a BL couple. They don’t owe us fans anything. This kind of behaviour is not healthy.
Food TV shows I will sulk and curl up if I don’t get to read and watch cosy Japanese Food Tv Series, books and animanga.
Among cosy Japanese Food TV/books/animanga, I love BLs that revolve around food. My all-time food BL is: What Did You Eat Yesterday. Followed by Our Dining Table and Old Fashioned Cupcakes
My favourite BL webcomic is That Awkward Magic! It is currently being self-published on Webtoon.
My favourite GL webcomic is The Witch, which too is being self-published on Webtoon.
My favourite Danmei book is The Grandmaster Of Demonic Cultivation.
My favourite Danemi author is Priest. Yes, I love MXTX to death, but Priest has me in a chokehold.
And there will be Hozier every now and then.
My DM/Ask Inbox is Open For Fic Requests.
I accept fic requests for my main ship LawLu/LuLaw as well as the ships mentioned in my list at the top.
And if you want to know why I love LawLu, here is my answer.
I love getting feedback on my stories. Though, I don’t appreciate or want to see rude comments disguised as constructive criticism.
I will take screenshots of it, and I will cry about it like an injured dog on Twitter! I am a pathetic person. So yeah, you have Fic requests, my DMs are open.
You can ask for memes too! I make them for fun!
