samples of these 3 came in my guerlain order today and i have already passed them on to someone i sold a perfume to on reddit already because i was so wholly unimpressed by them -_- cherry oud is a red herring of a fragrance that has cherry for literally 3 seconds then dries down to leathery leather and thats about it. maybe like a hint of oud but mostly just leather. and now its on my arm and it wont go away its so strong. cuir beluga is a really pretty powdery vanilla but it is so soft you can literally barely smell it its nice and everything but very fleeting and it sits extremely close to the skin. tonka imperiale smells like a sweet sweet maraschino cherry of an almond its very gourmand and a bit tooth rotting if you ask me its a little too much for even my tastes as a gourmand lover. altogether these are like…..ok i guess. ? like theyre fine if thats what you like but i find them pretty unremarkable. and theyre JUST fine and theyre also over 300 dollars so i feel like that is kind of highway robbery to ask that much for something so mediocre. the only l’art et la matiere fragrance i have tried so far that i think is worth purchasing/i am going to purchase someday is angelique noire which is one of my top 5 of all time it is so beautiful and worth it. but these…….pah. save your money and buy food or an xbox or something.
