Backstory: Originally grew up in a small town with a very high ghoul population, when he got older he became a butcher and started making a living by selling meat to ghouls who wanted to be more pacifistic or simply couldn’t hunt for themselves. He eventually moved to a larger city but got caught pretty quickly and had to flee. Repeat that cycle a few more times and he eventually made his way over to Japan which is where he’s set up shop by the time of tg.

Personality: Acts very friendly towards everyone he meets (so friendly in fact that most people find him unsettling), though in reality he only really cares about himself and how much of a profit he can turn. If he does end up caring about someone it will be in a very controlling and unhealthy way.

Other Information:

He supplies meat to both the Ghoul Restaurant and to Anteiku when their usual methods aren’t working

He sometimes hand out eyes wrapped like candy to ghoul children who come in

He engages in cannibalism, but he’ll usually only really eat whatever’s left over at the end of the day, since he doesn’t want to waste good meat that he could sell

I’d imagine he’s met Shuu, Touka, Hinami, and Kaneki before. He has a fairly positive relationship with Shuu (he likes having someone else to talk with about food) and Hinami (she reminds him of someone he knew back home), and a fairly negative one with Touka (he gives her the creeps). He’s only met Kaneki once, and finds him interesting

He’s a musical theatre fan

He keeps a poster of Angela Lansbury in his room

He doesn’t just sell human meat, his shop also just functions as a regular butcher’s shop so he sells normal meat too

Yet To Be Titled Silent Hill Time Loop Fic

Harry watches as the young girl hums to herself, skipping around in the schools boiler room. It's the fourth time he's been there, and he does his best not to startle her, this thin gossamer slip of a girl, this fae of a child who deserves more than she's been given, Cheryl's twin.

She doesn't remember the loops.

Cybil does. At first she was angry, nauseous, but by now she's just frustrated.

"I go to the amusement park, I get possessed. I don't go, I get possessed," she snapped, more to herself or the situation than Harry. "What the hell am I supposed to do? I'm sick of being killed, Harry.”

“I know. I don't want to, but… I don't know what else to do! I can't just leave and refusing to fight you…”

The third loop, Harry refused to fight Cybil in the amusement park, only to find himself scrambling to his feet in the Café and lurching over to be sick in a plant pot. Sure, he'd been hurt before, but never killed. That was when he told her about the loops, and the next time she remembered.

hello again! do you mind going more in depth about the cutters and keepers (and the ideological divide between them)? you’ve already mentioned that propaganda has affected the keepers more- is that a purposeful thing done by the captiol? or something perpetuated by the keeper community themselves? a mix of both?

Hello, dear! I'm going to write this with as much neutrality as possible because the lore I have created is long and extensive and I don't want that clouding this response.

I want to stick to as close to the canon as possible and my interpretation of the canon without having what I created leech through [especially since it tends to get jumbled in my head].

Get ready for another long one, Backpacks!

I have always believed that post-Dark Days there has to be that separation between trade and industry, especially in a district that then has two principle industries. Prior to the Dark Days, there was much more community between the trades-folk of 2, everything was very unified and friendly to an extent, which is why Katniss mentioning the first rebellion and the Victor tributes holding has as a sign of unity between the districts mirrors that community and solidarity (CF, 258).

But war changes things in unbelievable ways. There were those who remained loyal to the Capitol of course, by way of taking their names that have Greco-Roman origins (Strabo, Sejanus, Cato, Brutus, Enobaria), and then there were those who remained loyal to their people and their trade, who saw the military industry as a disruption to their work and community and traditions. They were more aware of their slavery once the military entered their lands and held a stronger Capitol favor.

Gale had a point when he said: "It's to the Capitol's advantage to have us divided amongst ourselves." (THG, 14)

District 2 is one know for its strength in not just its manufactured, propagandized kind, but prior to that when it was full of stonecutters, mountain-miners, blacksmiths, etc. and that strength is just as strong if not stronger after the Dark Days among the trades-folk. Where before there was a healthy delineation between the natural trades of the district, after the first rebellion that bond grew stronger and closer among the working-class because of the military invasion. There was less care put towards whether people mingled between a hewer or layer mason (historically hewer masons [those who cut the stone] was a far more contentious and lucrative job than a layer mason [those who set the stone]) and more of an effort to maintain their community as trades-folk in the face of an oppressive military who wanted nothing to do with them.

So the clear divide between the two industries was done by the Cutters in an effort to steer clear of both becoming a part of the propaganda (in both industry and Games-realted) and siding with the new invaders. There was a high likelihood of ostracization among the Cutter community to those who became Peacekeepers once it was exclusive to 2—prior to the first rebellion, I think it was seen more like how Plutarch had explained it "[as] a way for their people to escape poverty and a life in the quarries. They're raised with a warrior mind-set." (MJ, 83). I do see that last sentence as being more appropriate post-Dark Days, but that's neither here nor there.

As for the Keepers, they are an oppressive, invading force that were not welcomed by the natives of 2 at large, but they are also amazing at brushing that off if it meant more of a chance of wealth and success within the district (and within the Games too, of course). They knew that they were in better favor with the Capitol compared to the Cutters after the Dark Days and more so because they saw themselves as better than the Cutters, still District and not Capitol, but at least they weren't Cutters. And those who came from the Capitol to be stationed in 2? Well, they were all kinds of high and mighty! But as I said in a tik tok breaking down District 2 and my love for it: "the loyalty of District 2 has always been in something that has been Capitol made." (1:42-149).

In regards to the propaganda having more of an affect with the Keepers, I believe it is a mix of both and it has to be. The superiority complex of the Keepers (as in: those born and bred for it, not Cutters who join) comes from sustaining the Capitols favor but it is because of that propaganda that is so deeply imbedded into the district. Once they came into the picture as the new Capitol favorite, they didn't flaunt it so much as usurp it once various military installations came about, like The Nut, that did away with various Cutter work. Maintaining that "warrior mind-set" works with children who saw that as a thing of pride and not a thing to do out of poverty and upper class mobility. I still am having difficulty distinguishing both a timeline and an explanation for how the propaganda becomes successful within the Cutter community because I simply can't see it as A Thing™ without an intense feeling of betrayal to both your heritage and your people*, but again, that's a question for another day.

By Panem, I hope I answered this well! I feel like I kinda dropped the ball on the Keeper bit, but then again, I'm in the minority & don't give them much thought compared to everyone else.

*Please ask me if you want me to talk about Lyme in regards to that sentence because OH BOY IS THIS ALL ABOUT HER!

Also I almost started this with an excerpt from my silly OC fanfic but a ficlet of a scene, only to realize that my open statement completely contradicts that! Anyway, here it is at the end so you can't say I didn't do it in the actual answering of this ask!

Because if the years of watching District 2 pairs reach victory has taught her anything, it’s that those from 2 are loyal to their community. Of masonry or military. And that it’s the worst part of watching The Games in District 2, how much the animosity grows amongst the crowd at even the slightest difference in trade or birthplace is put to question the chance of triumph as one tribute falls.  But is the answer so simple? A mere difference in industry? In home? The Cutters: hewer and layer masons, quarry-folk, stone and crystal miners, blacksmiths. The Keepers: soldiers—the common grunt and almost unheard of 2 born general—, cadets in schools, Peacekeepers stationed throughout the country never to return for 20 years, the hundreds working in The Peak*. The southern desert folk and their blunt nature, intrenched in tradition that mirrors what it was before. The northern mountain people and their river sweet ways, creating new rituals after living so close to their invaded neighbors.  No, nothing as simple as that. Their mutual destruction is not an echo of past rivalries, but of present vows.

*What I think the natives of 2 call The Nut since that name came about by the 13 rebels, not the natives

summary: Edward’s sister fall for a wolf…

Y/N Mason Cullen was Edward’s little sister, she was turned at 15 when she also had the Spanish influenza, their mother had begged Carlisle to turn them. She was the baby of the family, she didn’t had any powers like Jasper, Alice or Edward but she had this humanly aura around her, in school she was the friendly Cullen and she was proud of that.

On day Edward had been fighting with her because he thought she was too weak to travel alone but she was also 110 years old, she didn’t understood why she couldn’t go while he left to Alaska the year before. She left when he started to be angry and a little bit violent. She knew she was playing with fire while she walked along the border but she didn’t want Edward to find her. 

Jacob was patrolling along the border when he smelled something heavenly, he stopped to look around and that’s when he saw her. A girl with the beauty of a goddess, the smile on her face could lit up the world, she was small and he wanted to protect her from everything. But when he started to walked toward her he remembered she was on the leech’s side...So he did some noises to grab her attention, when she looked in his eyes he felt like she was holding him on earth, she was his everything and more, he would be anything she wanted him to be a lover, a protector and a brother(even if the last choice would be a real disappointment for him).

When she saw the wolf looking at her she wasn’t scared, she felt so protect and cared for. 

“_Hello… I know am not supposed to be this close to the border but please don’t tell your alpha, I just wanted to be alone. I don’t know which wolf you are but you’re beautiful, I understand that this is a lot to ask but could you please phase back so we can talk?”

Jacob was shocked, he imprinted on a vampire, but she didn’t smell like one or act like one, he was confused but he somehow nod and phased back behind a tree.

_That’s… thank you. Umm we both know that we shouldn’t talk like that but you seems really cool and nice so maybe we could get to know each other?

That was the beginning of the relationship that would unify the wolves and the vampires in Forks, of there would be ups and downs but at the end love would always win for the two imprints!

In the spirit of Halloween, I thought it would be fun to post an old AU that I was inspired to make before S3 aired based off the ragtag group that is the Coven Heads.

So before Thanks to Them aired, I got the wildest thought on a possible "What If" about the fate of the Coven Heads with The Collector being freed. Long story short, thought it would be a cruel twist of fate if they ended up cursed like Eda because The Collector, going to call them T.C. for now, wanted to make them more "fun" for the "Owl House" game.

Essential, when the kids came back they ended up going to Eda place and are ambushed by a fully Cursed Raine which. After Luz finds one of Eda potions still hidden in the house, Raine tells them what happened while they were gone. One resolution battle later with T.C. and Belos, it's now up to the kids to find the other heads and change them back cause, per Eda, no one deserves to lived trapped in their own bodies.

Half a season worth of adventures later to find and revert the heads back to their original forms, with no cure for being cursed discovered yet despite T.C. powers, Eda and Lilith takes it upon themselves to teach them how to lived their new lives.

Some rough sketches of what their "hybrid" forms look like once they harmonized with their curse beasts.

Raine curse beast is a "vampire" bat and the kids find them in Eda place cause they sought out a place of safety after transforming. Their compromise with the beast is to drink blood every so often, much to their disgust. Is granted night vision and flight when in hybrid form.

Darius curse beast is a kraken and the kids find them in the sea. Refused to fight Hunter, so the kids used that to their advantage to defeat them. Their compromise with the beast is to do long soaks in sea water, to his annoyance cause "sea water is horrible for his skin". Is granted the ability to breath under water and a octopus ability to squeeze into small places.

Eberwolf curse beast is a manticore and was found near Darius cause, despite being lost in their own mind they still sought out their friend/brother. Was the fastest to compromise with their curse cause they didn't mind eating raw meat. Is granted a prehensile "leech tail, alongside increased strength and speed in their hybrid form.

Adrian curse beast is a spynx and the kids find him in an abandoned theater/castle since some part of him still wanted to be near civilization. The only head who has a beast who the kids can understand in full curse form. Takes the longest to compromise with their beast cause they both have massive ego's, and the fact that Adrian does not want to read a whole philosopher book or eat rats. Is granted flight and increased cat like reflexes.

Terra curse beast is a giant snake, and the kids find her in an overgrown forest caused by her magic still being "active". Her compromise with the beast is to eat live animals and daily sunbathing. Her hybrid form turns her into a Lamia similar to a boa constrictor.

Vitimir curse beast is a mosquito/dragon hybrid and is found buzzing around a cliff face where Hettie curse form also resided. Their compromised with their cursed beast is to drink blood. Their hybrid form grants them flight, a needle tongue, and the ability to store liquids in a "throat sack" that they then can use to spray people with boiling/noxious liquids.

Hettie curse beast is a minotaur and is found in a cave on a cliff. Her compromised involved her eating raw meat. Her hybrid form grants her increase strength and improved sense of hearing and smell.

Mason curse beast is a lava golem and is found in a basin where they were literally melting the surrounding area where they walked. Matt and Steve have to help turn him back to normal. His compromise with his beast is to eat rocks/stones and sunbathing. His hybrid forms allows him to manipulate heat and create magma from the rocks he consumes.

Osran curse beast form is a giant spider and is found deep in a cave. His compromised with his beasts involves eating insects. His hybrid forms grants extra mobility, armor like chitin, web making from his snot (much to his chagrin), and improved night vision.

“I apologize for my dimwit friend,” Pacifica was telling the man when Dipper snapped back to reality. He had been attempting to leech some of that warmth back by simply looking at the man’s skin. It was not working. “I swear he meant to introduce himself.”

It was a moment before Dipper caught on. He cleared his throat guiltily. “Oh! Yes, hi, I’m Dip– Mason. It’s nice to meet you, um…?”

Dipper’s expression froze in a half-smile as Pacifica’s roaring laughter rolled over him. “Um, no sorry. Sorry, I’m Mason. Just Mason.”

“Oh!” Wirt said, his eyes widening. “Sorry, I don’t know how I–”

Pacifica cut him off simply by running a gloved finger along his jaw. Dipper watched in rapt excitement and horror as Wirt’s cheeks pinkened.

“You’re so funny,” Pacifica murmured.

Dipper when he is the biggest loser vampirefail to ever exist and has to compete with Pacifica, The Vampire of All Time, for Wirt’s affection (and life)

Yeah, like. It's hard to wedge in a discussion on what the game is actually about when both sides are too busy accusing each other of being bigoted. Meanwhile you're just standing there like "can we talk about the themes and gameplay now." Lol.

The number of times I've heard a YouTuber sneer "woke," as if that even meant anything to the SH2 remake's standard of quality in general, and noped out of the rest of the video are... well... more than one, to say the least.

Like, I don't really care in the slightest about whether Bloober injected "DEI" into the game; I care about whether they made a faithful remake, and in my estimation they haven't.

I don't think they had an agenda other than to gratify their own egos by leeching onto the creative work of Team Silent, because they've pretty much said so in their own words. It's frankly kind of stupid to go the conspiratorial route with how Bloober are pushing some "woke" agenda when the Silent Hill series has always been, more or less, "woke." Maybe not along the axis of race - it'd be nice to have an indigenous protagonist - but certainly along that of gender.

Seriously, if 1-4 released as-is today, they'd be decried "woke."

Harry Mason, an adoptive dad proving to be a far superior parent to his child than Dahlia Gillespie, an abusive mom who subjects her child to years of torture for personal gain? Preposterous! What do you mean he's not a secret predator?

A game where a terminally-ill woman is not portrayed as a total martyr, and her husband isn't an alpha male? Insulting! Not to mention how they ~sexualize~ Angela's trauma: Team Silent must be pedos somehow!

Don't even get me started on 3 lmao. The fucking field day they'd have with 3. "This game is a load of garbage because it's pushing a trans agenda!" (game is one big metaphor for unwanted pregnancy but also covers topics like religious trauma, guilt, revenge, abuse, and sin) "Why do they expect me to empathize with a girl protagonist? Everybody knows girls don't suffer the way boys do! Do they want me to change my gender right this second????"

4... well, tbh, I think they'd be okay with 4 since Eileen and Cynthia receive sexy outfits. But idk, they'd probably find something to bitch about there too ig. Maybe something about how Henry isn't chad enough to defeat Walter, or how Walter is a beta cuck because mommy issues. (shrug)

Yes I know the Coven Heads were a bunch of petty bitches that liked to bully a literal teenager.

But I also like to HC them spoiling Hunter just a little before he was made the Golden Guard.

The kid has 3 different toys in his bedroom that I can make out and I seriously doubt that Belos gave them to him or allowed him leave the castle with an allowance for a fun afternoon of shopping.

My guess is that the Coven Heads might have spoiled him at first as a way to suck up to Belos. And Hunter kept everything he has fond memories of because that is the only way he was able to survive growing up in his Uncle's Murder Cult.

Hettie gave him Sprig to help him deal with nightmares after getting his first big scar on his cheek. There's a lil satchel of herbs in it to help him sleep. But being 5 or 6, he didn't know about that and magic or not, that stuff still needs to be changed out to keep it's scent, so it doesn't do much to help him fall asleep anymore but he still keeps Sprig after all these years.

A lot of the more random bits and bobs where dug up by Eberwolf then dumped on Hunter when Darius found the junk still caked in mud in his nice clean room. "Whatcha doing?" "Throwing away this garbage while I plot murder, Little Prince." "That looks cool! Why is it garbage?" "Ugh! If you want it you can have it! Just leave me alone and find someone else to bug!" "Really! Thank you Darius!" "YOU BETTER MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN THAT MUD OFF BEFORE TRACKING IT AROUND THE ENTIRE CASTLE!" "KAY!!!"

This thing. Eber dug it up. Probably with some other bones he gnawed on for an hour; then decided to leave the skull as a gift for Darius. Baby Hunter thought it was cool and kept it, because of course he would.

Mason carved the Belos statuette for Hunter the day that he got stuck with a lost 7 year old leech latched to his side for 9 whole hours, asking a million and 3 questions about everything and gushing about his favorite Uncle. After that day Mason promptly made himself scarce every time he heard the pattering of excited feet and non-stop chatter coming around the corner in halls.

The long stick is something he found and immediately ran to show Lilith. It reminded him of her staff! Can she show him how to fight with it. Cue Lilith spending an afternoon teaching Hunter how to properly twirl a staff without dropping it or accidentally smacking himself in the face. It was the only time that she thought him cute. Then he started scout training and destroying all of her Coven training records and she quickly changed her mind.

After he started scout training, the Coven Heads stopped humoring him as much because they had too much work to do to continue babysitting the Emperor's nephew now that he was the coven trainer's problem. But it didn't stop completely till he hit his obnoxious know-it-all, better-than-everyone-else, pre-teen stage.

That potion on the wall? From Vitimir. What is it? Hunter doesn't know. Could be a sleeping potion, could be acid. Vitimir did not say. Just tossed it to him on his way to a meeting. Hunter would've tested it on Kikimora but didn't want to get in trouble on the off chance it killed her; Nor did he want to be late to flight practice. It is hanging on the wall until he can safely identify it. (It's an explosive. Vitimir didn't want to deal with the budget meeting that day and thought he could get out of it if the Emperor's nephew managed to destroy a good portion of the castle. Sucks for him that Hunter kinda forgot about it.)
