I've been struggling to get a job since i quit in june ( for being harassed for masking. which i do bcs i have long covid ).

Part of my income i used to support a friend and their roommate, both Black and disabled with LC, in staying housed. Its tough. Their car died for good the other night, while in traffic. Its been known to do this for years, but its been neglected because they sincerely couldn't afford to fix it, and it could've costed them their life.

I couldn't do nothing. So I came up with the idea of masked portrait commissions!!! In order to make up for all their unmet needs...which extend beyond car repairs.

These are two I've done so far... and am looking to do lots more!!

Im probably gonna do a second mask, will leave it raw, and do a long tutorial from the ground up. Since thats what im guessing ppl are asking for since i already have a mechanical tutorial up.

Next round of Firebird's Roost character sheets! Here we've got Luther and Wisp, the diligent keepers of the Magma Sanctum, and Forgemaster Moloch, who might find himself in unexpected need of the magister's services...

Design notes under cut:

LUTHER

-Usually keeps his pearl on a shelf in the sanctum instead of carrying it

-Jacket has two narrow slits in the back for his wings to poke through

WISP

-Highly expressive and flexible antennae

-Prefers to walk/stand in the position shown, with six legs on the ground and the front four used to gesture or hold objects

MOLOCH

-Wings and mane are fluid, similar to Wraith's, but have a much thicker texture and tend to hold their shape fairly well

-Hard, segmented body (Wasp gene)

-Prosthetic claw and tail glow bright orange

I’m hoping to get supplies to experiment with changing the ears and snout, so we’ll see how my future masks look :]
