Working on a new mask, this time I’m finally making one of my OC hazard, using a crocodile/gator pattern I made and adjusting it to fit hazard’s anatomy better. I’m pleased with how it looks so far, gotta make a few adjustments before I add more to it, but in the meantime it’s good.

It's SO close. So close. Making these mask patterns is not a linear process; some things don't line up quite right going from a 1/4 scale clay model to a life size mask. I have some gaps to fill, pieces to modify, and overlap zones to tweak. But it's close.

Red metallic cardstock on the base, cream and grey white core cardstock for detailing, only have mostly blunt blades so the edges are rough, but it fits the aesthetic

MGSV fan art from 9 years ago. Carboard recreation of Venom Snake's prosthetic bionic arm. Brough in the "demon" theme crossed with the medium of the sculpture to put MGS2's "The Orange" Box in his grip. Temptation, Fruit of knowledge, Apples and Oranges, fake Big Boss, intended to include all those ideas. The base again evokes the "demon" theme with flames and prosthetic purpose of what seems like robot arm with the bones. The base includes development sketches from planning out the sculpture. Its always a favorite thing of mine exposing the creation of a thing within itself. The base has 9 points representing the number of "canon" games, again vaguely related to the "fruit of knowledge."
