Steve being the one to steal the car in catws is one of my favourite things simply because there's no way Natasha "The Black Widow" Romanoff doesn't know how to steal a car.

Which to me implies that she pretended to not know how, or at least waited just a bit to see if Steve would do it.

Simply to know if he could, figure him out.

To this day whenever I remember that the MCU turned Carol Danvers into a deadbeat dad I laugh. I do not care if it is comic accurate it's the funniest decision a marvel movie ever made. She's Earth's lesbian superhero icon, a role model for little girls everywhere, saving the galaxy and fighting evil. But she can't pay child support and would rather spend her limited time on Earth at a Red Sox game than face her kid. Most accidentally wildly entertaining and interesting character quirk they managed to come up with.

every single outfit carol wore in the marvels made me physically sick. there ain't no reason someone is allowed to look good in everything i don't understand.

and don't even get me started on kamala's cute ass nerdy outfits. the way she was wearing a captain marvel shirt when she met her??? mf adorable i cannot. kamala dancing is something i didnt think i needed in my life.

I wrote the first part to a Marvel AU fan fic idea that's been living in my head for a few weeks now and I'm trying to decide if I should post it or not

the idea mostly focuses on Spider-Man and Daredevil, though some other Marvel characters are important to the storyline (Harry Osborn, Black Cat, Kingpin, etc.). essentially, the idea builds on the concept of Wilson Fisk becoming mayor of New York and working to eradicate vigilantes.

my main hold up is that I wrote this with an OC instead of as a reader insert and so I'm not sure if you guys would even really like that, y'know?

anyways, I'm just rambling for the sake of rambling. if anyone has any opinions on OC fan fics and what not, I'd love to hear them!

i am AWARE the avengers compound was very very destroyed in endgame but dont mind me for really liking the concept of Nat coming back after being dead to find the living area the exact same.

Her seeing that desk she probably ate every meal at and fell asleep at for 5 years because she could never stop again.

Forgive me for having my mind already stuck on the idea of the remaining Avengers who arent really much of a team anymore at this point leaving it basically untouched as a special tribute for her sacrifice (both her death and her work)

IDK, I feel like at some point, it's gonna happen; because I've been saying for years that I would never watch a Marvel/MCU movie and that went out the window the second Hugh Jackman came back

I do feel like I at the very least need to watch the last two Avengers movies and also maybe Hawkeye before Thunderbolts

Things I think Captain Marvel has done to make money (some are inspired by random posts I remember but can’t find)

Sells embarrassing photos of the JL to the younger superheroes

Sells kryptonite thrown at him to the Fawcett City black market where it’s bought and thrown at him again

Using his lightning to spell stuff out in the sky for other heroes anniversaries (price depends on the person paying)

YJ paid him to juggle all of them at once. Goes without saying it ended in disaster

His tooth was knocked out by Black Adam once and Billy sold it to Batman (Batman wanted to study Cap’s dna and Billy just went “money is money”)

Many of the sidekicks (current or former) have paid him to blow up their mentor’s mailbox with lightning and Billy, once again, went “money is money”

Took kids flying (for a fundraiser, but it still counts)

Paid to eat really hot peppers or anything difficult to eat in general

He did a little jig once for 20 bucks

On the topic of Marvels playlist:

On his work playlist, he listens to a lot of older songs like Elvis and Frank Sinatra. It’s what he hears a lot around Fawcett and they were his parents favourite songs so it’s comforting to listen to, plus it helps with his cover as an immortal.

On his secret playlist, he listens to a bunch of Weird Al, children’s songs like purple people eater and Nyan Cat (or the gen alpha equivalent), and ‘innapropriate’ songs. By that I mean songs that swear a lot, never songs about sex. He only listened to WAP once by accident and he almost cried, but now he’s recovered enough to joke about it.
