Nick’s

Nick has a soft spot for Natasha but doesn’t coddle her and lets her grow and evolve away from her red room training

Nick loves reality tv but no one will believe you if you say it. He has also shared a couple of his favorite with Natasha and Maria.

Nick and goose have had many staring contests(well Nick starng at goose while goose stares at him. Staring;starng without an 👁️ (i),get it!) after Natasha joined shield(before she became part of the fam) because goose disappearing from his office only to be in Natasha’s room wanting cuddles

Maria’s

Maria might be one of the most professional but whenever most agents are gone or only trusted ones are in the building she will quite literally barrel into nick’s office just to mess up his paperwork (the ones he can’t pass off to her obviously) stare at him and giggle then run out

Maria has once tried to be like Nick and hide in the dark shadows to scare Nick…well more like at least startle him hopefully, it kinda worked, he was surprised she was there but only for a millisecond then he grumbled

The hiding like Nick in the shadows might not have worked on Nick but it did work on many others. I think you can guess…. Clint it worked on Clint…..*scared bird screeches-HILLLLLLLLLLL WHY *……..*on the phone after, calling Laura-*mock sob* she’s so mean! Laur*and it also worked on some of the shield newer agents and even some of the more senior agents who were already tense around her, but never on Natasha not that she even tried because it’s Natasha Natasha would just laugh or smirk and say cute or something.

Natasha’s

Natasha once while waiting for Nick in his office as he cashed her to it, he wasn’t there so she paced for at least 30 minutes then sat on his desk and woke up two hours later to a freaked out shield intern who was just trying to get the director to sign something only to find no director and the black widow on the directors desk sleeping hanging and somehow not falling. Nick was watching from the security cameras he was never going to come. He was just feeling mischievous that day and wanted to see Natasha get bored and annoyed as she found out he wasn’t coming but nope he got a whole entire SHOW hahaha poor intern

Natasha might have been forced to dance in the red room but she does love it, ballet was the one part that gave her some freedom, so she still dances but not more then two hours then break time.

Clints’s

If someone was to ask Clint why he goes everywhere in the vents except the commander(Maria’s) office, meeting room#3, the west wing’s biggest closet and the east’s sides biggest closet, and Natasha’s and the commander’s dorm’s vents he would say because the closets are stupid. The meeting room is boring. It’s practically unused with no meetings ever being held, and because he respects the commander and the black widows privacy.  But in reality it’s because he does not want to see his little sister figure doing anything with his other sister(more like cousin, since Nick is kinda more uncle/dad and Phil is more dad/uncle) figurebecause oh let’s just say he’s learned lessons

heya! i also saw your tag about aro maria and ace natasha. i'm very fascinated about that. what's some of your takes on that dynamic? i've personally leaned towards ace/aspec, but it's always interesting to me when someone who identifies along there but more into sex or adverse to romance. just shows how diverse that spectrum is!

This is such a fun question and I'm going to preface it by saying these HCs are purely based on vibes and my own projection as someone on the aroace spec. I like to play around with their sexualities a lot bc it makes for interesting dynamics, but I'll stick to my thoughts about them being aspec for now haha. I can't promise this will be coherent and make sense but I'll try my best!

This got pretty long, so I'll put the rest of this essay under the cut:

A lot of my opinions of marvel characters are influenced by the comics, especially for Maria since we were given so little of her in the MCU. She has an interesting vibe to her that just... sort of screams being entirely uninterested in anything romantic. She's a very private person anyway, but never expresses interest in wanting romance, but she still wants so desperately to keep those she cares about safe. It's not that she doesn't care, because she does, a WHOLE lot. She just cares about everyone in a very platonic, dutiful way. And yet, somehow, she gives off the biggest lesbian vibes in the world. Therefore, aromantic lesbian. It also somehow just makes sense to me that casual physical relationships would be easier for her to keep as a crucial member of an international secret organisation. Outside of her own team who is she going to date? She goes to a nice bar and she drinks a scotch and she waits for the nearest femme to take her home only to disappear in the middle of the night. Satisfy some urges, and prove to herself that she isn't an evil monster to the naked eye, two birds one stone. There's no real evidence to her having any sexual relationships (that i can think of anyway) but the vibes just sort of work to me, or at least that she would have them. Sometimes i think she's too much of a loser to ever actually go home with anyone. So, in that respect, I can also see her as being aroace too. She just generally has more important things to worry about and isn't necessarily interested in things she deems so personal and unimportant.

I wish I could beam the vibes in my head directly to you because I'm doing a terrible job of explaining them with words, but generally Maria comes off as a very cold character who actually cares very deeply about those around her and that can hit home for a lot of aspec misconceptions and stereotypes. As far as I know, she's never been in a relationship either, which for marvel comics is practically an olympic feat. In one comic she says Natasha is the person she trusts most in the world because shes lonely too, and that shes the only person that scares her. what is that if not lesbianism aspec solidarity

As for Natasha, well we all know what her past is like, and I don't think it's a stretch to say that she might have some trauma around it. But honestly I just like to think she would always be asexual bc it's fun. She's really the character I have less evidence for, but I'm a sucker for the trope of a character who is sexualised by everyone around her actually being a big softy who would rather cuddle. That woman could count on her hands how many times she's been hugged in her life, I think she'd truly get the most out of a relationship where she is shown innocent affection. She's been treated as a physical asset her entire life and I think she deserves to be wined and dined outside of that. Maybe its just me trying to break her free and projecting at the same time but let that woman be the little spoon.

IDK man, she just gives me vibes. She's a cutie. She's a hopeless romantic thrown into a world of people that think she's hot. She's been forced to live up to a role that feels like an act, and is only able to play it so well because none of it has felt real from the start. Sexuality has always been a game, and she's so good at playing because she's always been outside of it. The second someone shows her genuine romance she doesn't know what to do with herself. She likes to give people flowers.

In terms of dynamics together, I don't actually tend to mix them together in this way, I usually pick one or the other because the fic is focussed on them having a functional relationship. I do, however, think Maria would be very accomodating of Natasha if they were in a relationship with this specific dynamic, because as characters they have a very similar need of wanting to be loved for who they are as a person. And to Maria any sexual drive is always going to be second to a real human connection for the first time in her life.

Honestly, the dynamic should be great for angst but I can't find a way to make it work because theyre very similar characters to me. Even if Natasha needs someone to love her whole heartedly for herself, someone to love her innocently outside of her body, Maria is still going to give that to her. It might not be romantically, but she is desperate for human connection anyway. The worst I can think of is that Maria becomes frustrated with the fact that Natasha wants more from her, whilst not being able to tell her the full extent of her own attraction, so theyre both stuck at a bit of a stalemate. Suffering in silence through their friendship because they both want something the other isnt able to give and both of them are too soft hearted to ever force it

Summary: Maria comes home late again and R has started not to care anymore.

A/N: I’m realizing as I’m getting this ready to post that I didn’t really follow the prompt since it asked for comfort but I’d be willing to do a part 2 to this if that’s something you guys would like to see lmao so sorry. This was also way angstier bc i wanted to make it inspired by Last Kiss by Taylor Swift but decided against it :,)

Maria finished filing her paperwork and took a glance at her watch. 12:48 AM. You were going to kill her. 

She stuffed her belongings in her bag and made her way to the parking garage as quickly as she could, hopping on her motorcycle and driving off to the apartment you shared. 

Her mind was racing. You’d been giving her a hard time lately because of her work hours. You were right to, Maria thought. You deserved better, to have a girlfriend who was actually home and spent time with you. She gritted her teeth and drove faster. Something needed to change. She couldn’t take the look of disappointment on your face whenever she arrived home late from work when you knew she wasn’t coming from a mission. 

There were so many things she could blame. She’d often lose track of time while doing paperwork, she’d take on a larger workload than necessary, and she would always pick up slack from her coworkers. But you didn’t deserve excuses, you deserved for her to be there when you fell asleep, holding you close to her. 

Upon entering the apartment, she found you sleeping on the couch under a blanket in a hoodie of hers. Maria could tell that you’d tried to wait up for her, the tv playing at a low volume, a drink sitting on the coffee table looking near empty.

She chewed the inside of her bottom lip guiltily as she turned off the tv and put the glass in the sink before leaning down to pick you up and take you to bed. 

You stirred awake in her arms, nuzzling against her collarbone, “What time is it?”

Maria looked down at you, “1:09”. She felt you sigh against her.

Your silence made her uneasy. It was much worse than if you’d yelled at her. Silence meant you didn’t have the energy to fight for her to stay anymore. You were starting to accept Maria’s absence.

She was going to lose you sooner or later and it would be her own doing.

Maria set you down in bed and took a cold shower.

Though your eyes were closed and you were comfortably in bed, now that your girlfriend was home, you found it hard to fall back asleep without her beside you. As upset at her as you were, you still missed her. There were many moments the two of you used to share but you rarely spent any time together anymore. 

You resented her for making you feel more like a roommate than her girlfriend. After one too many conversations about her work hours, you’d decided that if you didn’t see a change from her sometime very soon, you wouldn’t be her girlfriend any longer. You had just started to feel optimistic before tonight as she hadn’t stayed late for more than an hour and a half in the past week. You felt like an idiot for believing things would be different.

After her quick shower, Maria changed into sweats and got into bed next to you, looking down at you, seemingly asleep. She combed back the hair that was in your face and felt an uncomfortable tightness in her chest, “I’m sorry,” she whispered, sinking into the bed.

You turned onto your side to face her at that and threw your arm over her midsection. You didn’t answer her. It wasn’t okay, you wanted to tell her, but you didn’t. You were done fighting, and if she wanted to destroy your relationship by deciding that work was more important than you were time and time again, so be it.

Natasha could give a rats ass about separating the laundry. “Clothes are clothes” to her no matter how much Maria begs her to separate the whites from the colors. It happens one too many times that she washes Maria’s dress shirts with some of her graphic tees and lo and behold the dreaded color transfer.

Cut to a very grumpy Commander Hill sitting in an important conference with her jacket pulled tight because she’s trying her best to hide the Girl Scout pink mess that is what used to be one of her favorite shirts.

When your blood sugar is low

Characters: Kate Bishop, Natasha Romanoff, Maria Hill, Wanda Maximoff, Carol Danvers

A/N: this can be read as platonic or romantic! Also, world diabetes day was last week, but here we are.

Kate Bishop:

Before you met, the food scene at Kate’s apartment was dismal

The only things she ever really kept on hand were boxed Mac and cheese, microwave popcorn, and chocolate bars

Now, (in addition to real food and snacks you can eat more regularly) Kate’s apartment is filled with all of your favorite carb-filled, high glycemic index snacks and drinks

When you go low, she’s immediately offering you everything under the sun

If your favorites are from abroad, she WILL order them, shipping costs be damned

If you’re having a super mild hypo, she’ll pop downstairs and grab you a slice of pizza

Kate Bishop is a bit of a hoverer

Constantly checking in to make sure your sugar levels aren’t going down further

She HATES waiting 15 minutes to see if you’re back above 70 mg/dL (3.9 mmol/L)

Lowkey more anxious about it than you sometimes

“Are you sure you’re not going to collapse?”

“Kate, I’m only at 68, and I had a snack. I’m fine.”

“That is not fine!”

Natasha Romanoff:

Natasha is super observant (obviously, she’s a spy)

Seems to know you’re going low before you do

Will tell you to check your blood sugar because she’s noticing you look a little shaky and out of it

Other times will rummage through your bag and hand you a pack of gummies just as you’re about to tell her you feel low

She keeps little hard candies/gels hidden in the most random places for you

Once you were out and she pulled a candy from a pocket in her shirt you didn’t realize was there

Will never force you to do anything, but will give you her hardest stare if you don’t immediately treat your low (especially if you wear a continuous glucose monitor [cgm])

“I don’t even feel shaky, and you know this thing sometimes shows false lows,”

“I can tell you’re about to go low. Here, drink this.”

“Where were you hiding a juice pouch?!”

“I have a lot of things hidden on my body,”

“IS THAT A GRENADE??”

Maria Hill:

When she found out you were diabetic, Maria did a whole bunch of research, including on the signs of hypoglycemia and how to treat it

She has your lows down to a science

If you have a cgm, she definitely has the app on her phone so it tells her when you’re going low

If the cgm says you’re low, but you don’t feel the symptoms, she makes you check with the finger stick

Has things portioned so each serving has exactly 15 grams of carbs

Makes sure you eat a more substantial snack with protein in it once you’re back in range

Keeps a journal of the dates/times you go low and how effectively different treatments work for you

“I think you should start having an afternoon snack. I’ve noticed you have the most hypoglycemic incidents an hour or two before dinner.”

“Hmm, okay. But only if you take a break and have a snack with me.”

“If that’s what it takes, deal.”

Wanda Maximoff:

Wanda is an even bigger worrier than Kate

She’s lost so many people in her life, and she’ll be damned if she lets you die from something she can directly stop

She keeps a closer eye on your blood sugar than you do

Like Maria, if you have a cgm she has the app to track

Wanda makes sure EVERY alarm is turned on and at the highest volume

When you go out, she carries more snacks than you do

If you have glucagon, Wanda keeps a dose with her, even if you also have one on you

The instant she knows you’re low there is a candy in your hand (before you can even access your own stash)

“If that doesn’t do it, I have three juice boxes, two packs of fruit gummies, and about two dozen hard candies in my bag,”

“Geez, Wanda. That sounds heavy. Which one of us is diabetic again?”

“I just want to make sure you’re okay!”

“Sorry, I know. Thank you for caring so much about me.”

“Of course.”

Carol Danvers: 

You go low while on Carol’s ship once, and she gives you juice from an alien planet and it’s the most amazing thing you’ve ever tasted

She finds out how much you like it and goes back to the planet just to buy it for you so she always has some on her ship

Forget a phone app, Carol has low glucose alerts hooked up to all of her tech no matter what technology you use

She somehow managed to get your finger stick connected to her suit and her ship

If she happens to be off-world and she gets an alert about you going low, she stops what she’s doing to text you

But if she’s “close,” no matter where she is on Earth (or near it) when you go low she will use her super speed to get to you, even if you assure her your fine

“Carol, you really didn’t have to leave your meeting with Fury for this. I have my own snacks.”

“I know, but I’m planetside and I have that juice you like.”

“Thanks for always taking care of me.”

“Of course, I’ll always be here when you need me.”

HELLO SONADOW NATION HERES MY SONADOW HEADCANONS

(Buckle up. I have a lot.)

Shadow is under the aromantic label (little or no romantic attraction) and Quoiromantic (being unable to distinguish between platonic and romantic). Despite never having interest in a woman, he still identifies under the bisexual label (he’s very uncertain if he’s fully gay, so being under bisexual puts that at rest). He is also asexual, having no interest in anything sexual, as well as just not feeling sexual attraction at all. Much like sonic, it repulses him.

Shadow dislikes touch in the first place, but will sometimes take sonics hugs. He doesn't like handholding (he is good in private, not in public) but is fine with cuddles.

When shadow is feeling any form of anger or sadness, he tends to withdraw and be alone. Sonic just stays with him unless told not to.

Shadow also loves fuzzy blankets. He has a heated blanket that he got for no reason, he loves that thing.

Sonic is plain old bisexual, finding interest in most genders but still having a preference, which is men. He's had crushes on both men and women in the past. sonic is also asexual. He has no interest in any sexual activity, finding it slightly repulsive just like shadow.

Sonic likes giving/receiving hugs and loves the texture of shadows fur.

Both can be slightly clingy sometimes.

Sonic is one of few who actually knows shadow, his like trauma and shit and never uses anything he knows will hurt him (ex. Maria) in anything (ex, if they're like arguing, he isn't gonna pull the trauma card and remind shadow of his failures).

Shadow is not actually the biggest fan of kissing anyone on the lips, but will sometimes do it in private if both parties consent (CONSENT IS IMPORTANT.)

They have very clashing tastes, while sonic likes busy places, shadow would prefer the quiet places like hills, roofs, the moon, etc. in terms of dates. I actually think shadow wouldn't care for going on actual dates

Silly little thing I wrote:

Their friends make bets on the two when they’re bored.

Shadow legit just calls sonic sonic, he does not do nicknames. Sonic loves nicknames but doesn't indulge in them as much as he likes, he does call him shads a lot though. Sonic calls shadow hot topic sometimes, shadow is only mildly annoyed by the name.

They're both equally shit at cooking

Sonic has to FORCE shadow to eat something other than

Sonic gets bridal carried a lot (Sonic can carry shadow, he just doesnt lmao)

The dumbass rolled his ankle one time or something, tried running and fell on his face. Shadow scooped him up and carried him the rest of the time.

Shadow will tell sonic when he rambles too much because he does that a lot

one of the ways shadow manages to be alone is teleportation. Also, hc he'll just like zap around the same room if he's like having a panic attack. It’s almost a stress response for him, he tries to go somewhere else but he’s so focused on what happened that set him off that he ends up stuck where he is.

Sonic knows some guitar, sometimes he plays (albeit not too greatly) for shadow

Shadow needs melatonin to fall asleep properly

Sonic is fond of gummies whereas shadow prefers chocolate

shadow got his love of coffee beans from agent stone (movie universe)

Sonic prefers beanbags and shadow likes hammocks

Sonic is like me he a chronic yapper he will not stfu ever

Shadow likes chocolate covered oranges (they're a British thing I think)

Im not saying that sonic thought being slammed against the glass was hot-

Shadow goes to agent stone and sonic goes to either tails or maddy/tom if they’re having a crisis

Shadow really only developed romantic feelings, although he didn’t recognize them, when he got to know sonic on the moon, when they yapped about stars.

The two have stargazing dates

They’ll almost cuddle during movie night, sonic mainly the one doing all the cuddling (aka laying on shadow) Shadow returns the cuddles hesitantly and just basically protects him

Chocolate covered coffee beans are also another favorite of shadows

Shadow is very destructive when angry, he’ll try to hurt something. It’s a side effect from his time with the doctor and in the ark. He enjoys the sensation of just destroying stuff, it helps him calm down.

Shadow is fascinated by but hates water, it reminds him too much of the lab.

Shadow has a lot of ptsd induced panic attacks

Aside from his multitude of trust issues and trauma, plus his aromantic identity, one reason shadow was hesitant to and still is hesitant to show affection is his fear of vulnerability.

Sonic kicks in his sleep sometimes, it’s very annoying to shadow.

Shadow also dislikes crying, just in general.

Shadow would wear leather or black jean jackets sometimes

They both have a talent for art, shadow is better at drawing and sonic is better at watercolor or painting

It was so difficult for shadow to show any form of care for sonic

Shadow has nightmares. He maybe gets one peaceful dream a month, or just no dream often.

Whereas Tom and maddie are parents, stone is more like an older brother to shadow

Shadow actually went to hot topic. The gang took him to one. It was funny. He actually did get a shirt, some pins, and a couple accessories

Knuckled genuenly didn’t know the two were dating for like three months.

Sonics smile reminds shadow of marias

Shadow would casually smoke every so often

Sonic is extremely frightened of thunderstorms

Sonic and shaodw both have crazy issues- shadows is probably worse on the surface because sonic keeps his hidden

When I say shadow isn’t a fan of physical touch I mean he’s okay with it, but he will not hesitate to use violence if someone touches him when he’s “in a mood” (/refehehs). He most normally will not like nor tolerate most touch for more than five seconds. Ask him before engaging.

On their phones/communicators they have custom sounds for the other

He ends up on an armchair by the window with you perched on the armrest and you both sip your drinks in the dim light while the other guests slowly file out. Joel swears that it cements the lights as his favorite tradition.

Christmas, for Javi, usually means a trip back home to meet the family. Born and raised in Texas, it's one of the most important parts of Christmas: Everyone being together, despite their differences.

Colombia and the cartel case are a welcome excuse to not take part in the family gatherings. Every time he does visit Laredo, which only totals to three times during his time in Bogotá, he can't stand the way people look at him.

When he goes back after Cali, he doesn't even make it through half of the gathering. There have been too many drinks emptied and too many questions asked and he is back in his truck before anyone can notice he's disappeared.

Four years later marks the first time he does show up for Christmas again, with you by his side and proudly showing off the noticeable bump under your sundress.

You think he's joking when he whispers to you that night, explaining that his new favorite Christmas tradition is keeping you stuffed and spending all of Christmas Eve next to the tree, hands caressing your stomach to feel for movement from his baby

He isn’t joking. Three years in a row, the timing aligns perfectly and like clockwork, a baby is born every spring. It's definitely not the worst tradition you can think of.

After a satisfying number of babies however, the tradition shifts back to its origin: Gatherings with the whole family. And you have quite the family to show off with three little ones and Javi by your side.

Dieter loves having you over for Christmas at his house in the Hollywood Hills. It starts innocently enough, with Covid ruining plans for any other possible get-together.

He orders enough food to last for days, rolls a generous joint for you to share and puts on a Hallmark Christmas movie for giggles.

It ends up getting you both in the feels, despite ticking off every possible cliché. By the time the credits roll around, Dieter's body is pressed against yours, both of you sinking back into the fluffy couch pillows.

The next three days are an intangible mess made up of cheese, weed and sex. In no particular order.

For once, no agent calling disturbs the bubble the two of you have created for yourselves and when New Year's rolls around, you both vow to repeat the same kind of Christmas next year.

Din Djarin

Din doesn't really know or celebrate Christmas until you and Grogu come along. When you start decorating and making a few purchases, he grumbles slightly but lets you go through with it.

To your (and his) surprise, he doesn't hate the decorating. It's a nice change of pace to just sit for a while, make chains of popcorn and dried fruits and watch the child play with a few of the Christmas decorations while you consider the best spot for the tree.

Din does help with all that you can't reach and with securing everything so that your whole work won't be ruined the second the ship takes off.

It's dark outside when you are finally done, Grogu napping below the tree after wearing himself out. Din lifts you onto his shoulders almost effortlessly, allowing you to place the golden star on top of the tree while he watches.

You light the tree together afterwards, the twinkling lights reflecting in his beskar armor, multiplying the light by what seems to be a million and it makes your knees weak.

Every following year, a beautiful tree decorates your living quarters. You both pretend it's something you only do for Grogu. You both know it's not.

carol isn't very used to seeing people in such fancy clothes. other than maybe royal alien she's never been around such elegancy. but when she see yours putting on the most beautiful dress she's probably ever seen, her jaw drop. big bold captain danvers will turn into a pile of mush. she feels as if she's standing before a goddess when shes watching you get ready for a gala. when you ask her to help you zip up your dress she's gets nervy omg. she'll respond with a breathy "y-yeah" and she's so gentle with the zipper and you. she knows how strong she is so she doesn't want to break the fragile zipper. she make sure non of the fabric gets caught too. she'll be very focused. when she's done she'll wrap her arms around you and tell you how beautiful you look.

Natasha Romanoff: Nat regresses to around 3. Because of the red room she suppressed her regression for a long time and it was by accident that Clint found out - eventually Coulson, Maria and Fury found out too but it took years for her to be comfortable with her regression. Sweetest little ever though, super cheeky too. It’s kind of impossible for every caregiver in her life not to buy her every single toy they find, so she’s amassed a large collection. She really likes duplo, less the building more the smashing it down. Natasha Romanoff: Very protective but gentle at the same time. She'd teach her little one Russian and if you wanted she'd let you watch her practice ballet and she'd teach you little bits and pieces very gently. She'd always bring back a stuffie for you every time she goes on a mission.

Wanda Maximoff: She likes to make sure the people she loves feel cared for. She cooks her littles all the best foods, her magic is very helpful for grabbing toys that drop under the couch and sometimes she projects pretty patterns on the roof for her little to watch. Wanda Maximoff: She is a very quiet and emotional little due to everything that has happened to her. She misses Pietro even more when she's smaller. She's also very scared of her powers and hates using them. She finds so much comfort in her little items and will not put them down if she's feeling small, her paci and her toy bunny in particular.

Kate Bishop: Kate ‘Katie’ regresses to around 4. She’s quite comfortable with her regression but struggles letting other people know about it, especially Clint. She hid it from Clint at first because she thought he was so cool and was kinda embarrassed. However after one particularly bad mission she’s feeling super little and doesn’t know who to call so she calls Clint (I’ll do a whole other part on this if you guys want). She’s super fidgety and playful when she’s little, she thinks everything is funny and is almost always laughing. She has a toy bow and arrow (a present from Clint which Laura does not support).

Yelena Belova: Like Kate, Yelena regresses to around 4. Like Nat, she really struggles to be open about her regression but Kate helps her a lot with that. She’s a very talkative little, though a lot of it’s hard to make out. As far as caregivers for her go I’m on the fence, I think I’ll have a better idea after Thunderbolts comes out. I can only really see her being comfortable regressing around Nat (so that’s kind of out of the question…), Kate (they take it in turns to regress - I can’t explain how much their friendship means to me), or Melina and Alexei (but I struggle to believe she’d be comfortable being that vulnerable in-front of them after everything)

Maria Hill: Maria, Mia when she’s little (because that's how little Nat pronounces it), is around 6. She hides her little side for AGES (most of my hcs for Mia are based off these fanfics I read a while ago, I don’t remember what they were called). She’s super independent, she loves playing with the other littles but sometimes gets a bit overwhelmed by how loud little Nat can get. She likes to build forts under Fury’s desk - he’s her primary caregiver. Maria Hill: When Maria's big she’s a great caregiver, she mainly watches Nat. She has a whole corner set up in her office for littles and a fridge filled with all the best snacks.

Daisy Johnson: Daisy (Skye) is a little, she regresses to around 2-4. She’s a very cuddly little, always near her Mama and Dada (Coulson and May). When she first joined the team she tried to hide her regression but it lasted like a month before Coulson figured it out. She regresses most of the time after missions and it helps everyone wind down. She has this little worn old blanket that she can’t sleep without.

Jemma Simmons: Jemma regresses to around 4 though if she isn't feeling great she'll get a lot smaller. She is the biggest rule follower you’ll ever meet - sometimes the others do things May and Coulson wouldn’t like and it scares her a lot, but sometimes she can be convinced to join in… She loves story time and refuses to go to sleep if she doesn’t get a story. She obviously loves all her siblings but thinks her big sister Bobbi is the coolest and most grown up girl in the world. If she's feeling smaller than normal she'll get really clingy and quiet. Daisy and Jemma are like two peas in a pod, if Jemma is feeling extra small Daisy will talk for her and always knows what she needs.

Leo Fitz: Fitz (though he goes by Leo when he’s little) regresses to 6, he’s the oldest of the three og bus kids and takes his role very seriously. Aka, he’s super bossy. He loves lego and has a million different sets, which all have to be completed properly, sometimes after the brain injury Coulson has to help him because his hands are too shaky and it upsets him. He also naturally has like a million stuffed monkey toys, his favourite is one with those Velcro hands (idk if you guys know what I’m talking about) he likes to stim by pulling the velcro apart and putting it back together.

Bobbi Morse: Bobbi regresses to around 8-ish. She’s a very hyperactive little, she always wants to set up obstacle courses and play rough which would be fine except the other littles are all much younger than her and so not as interested in that kind of play, Daisy tries her best though. Mainly Mack plays with her. She’s a great big sister, always keeping an eye out for the little ones. She’s very emotional when she’s little, she also really loves dogs.

Phil Coulson: Coulson is the Caregiver equivalent of a Super Soldier. He just somehow always seems to know when they feel little and what they need. He’s always at the ready with some (captain America themed) little gear and a bottle of milk (if May asks it’s definitely not chocolate milk). As I’m writing this I’m watching AOS S2 EP5 34:28 and if you need any proof that Coulson is caregiver material just watch that scene.

Melinda May: May is as practiced and all knowing in being a caregiver as she is at everything else. She has this ability to make littles feel immediately at ease because she seems to always know what to do, they can just relax and fully let her take care of them. There is a gentler side of her which is only shown to her littles. She’s stricter than Coulson but always fair.

The Hunger Games:

Katniss Everdeen: She regresses to around 4. She has a comfort pacifier, which she got from Madge Undersee and she keeps with her at all times. Haymitch is her primary caregiver but eventually she learns to let Effie take care of her too. She’s the biggest sucker for physical affection - always on someone’s lap, cuddling, holding their hand - anything tactile helps soothe her. She tends to gravitate towards Peeta if he’s not regressed for comfort, and if he is she’s very protective of him.

Peeta Mellark: Regresses to around 3, his caregivers are primarily Finnick, Annie and Effie. He loves his big sisters (Kat and Jo) so much and is always following them around. Very affectionate, always cuddled up to someone. He's quiet too. He regresses more after the hijacking.

Finnick Odair: Finnick is like the coolest dad ever. He’s really strong so he can carry the littles (even Peeta) which they adore. He’s always down for one more bed time story, a spontaneous treehouse building project or the fanciest tea party the littles could ever imagine. He loves taking them out to the beach in the morning (in my head they all end up moving to district 4 to be together) and he teaches Peeta to swim. Finnick Odair: Mags' little baby. He's such a Mama's boy. He and Annie are the best friends ever when they are little and are always having quiet conversations that no one else can understand. He loves being at the beach more than anything and has every ocean themed toy in the world.

Annie Cresta: Annie adores her babies more than anything else. She’s quiet, but observant and very caring. She always knows what they need. She can recognise the slightest shift in mood and knows what to do. Johanna’s upset? Annie knows she’ll be in the treehouse. Peeta’s upset? He’s probably been having nightmares and needs a bottle and a nap. She knows Johanna needs a nightlight on but will never admit it, Peeta’s still a little bit scared of the water, Katniss (whilst not Annie’s little, they are still very close) needs physical contact to calm down. She is always there for them no matter what. Annie Cresta: Annie is very quiet while she's regressed. it tends to seem like she's checked out and not paying attention but she always is and you can only tell by the little smiles and giggles every now and again when someone makes her happy. She has a baby blanket that she carries around with her all the time unless she is in the water and she loves to be in the water more than anything else.

Johanna Mason: Jo regresses to around 7, her cgs are Annie and Finnick. She’s very strong headed and likes to boss Katniss and Peeta around - this causes a few issues for Katniss. Finnick helped her build a treehouse and she goes up there whenever she’s upset. She loves wearing overalls and they look soo cute on her.

Haymitch Abernathy: Haymitch tries his best. He loves Katniss, he knows he needs and wants to take care of her, but he often feels out of his depth. Really all that matters to him is that his little girl is happy and my gosh does he make sure of it. No one understands Katniss and Haymitch as much as they do each other. They are inseparable. Little Katniss thinks all of Haymitch’s dad jokes are funny, he thinks she’s the smartest little kid ever. He acts all tough but he hangs all her drawing on the fridge and he learnt to braid hair just for her!!

Effie Trinket: Effie loves enabling the kids. Like they’ve been through so much why should she say no if Peeta and Katniss want to eat ice cream for breakfast?! She tries and fails to convince Katniss to let her out bows in her hair but very quickly learns that Peeta likes them much more. She buys pretty much every stuffie she thinks the littles will like (Johanna included though Jo swears she doesn’t need little kid toys) and eventually she learns to sew so she can make them little clothes and stuffies herself.

Daisy Jones: Daisy regresses anywhere from 2-10. Simone is the first to know about her regression, she figures it out shortly after they move in together. Karen is the first to find out in the band (when she gets Daisy out of jail), then Billy (while they are recording the album), then Rod (at the start of the tour) and everyone else finds out after Nicky leaves. Daisy LOVES colouring books and doodling and just pretty much anything creative. She hates wearing shoes and is very picky with her food. She’s amassed a gigantic collection of stuffies but her favourite by far is this little bunny that Simone got for her. She’s really shy at first but once she trusts someone she’s really clingy and talkative.

Karen Sirko: She regresses between 2-6. Caregiver Camila obviously. She loves dragons and dinosaurs and playing cars with Graham. She's a lot more reserved when she's little and super duper clingy to Cami. She finds a lot of comfort in being around Daisy too because Daisy is her best friend and always knows how to make her feel safe with make believe stories and fun games. Karen Sirko: Karen never wanted kids but she is completely dedicated to taking care of Daisy. She loves that girl more than anything. She's really good at understanding when Daisy needs quiet time with just her to process and calm down (a sippy cup, cartoons and a colouring book) and when she needs something stimulating to do to keep her mind occupied (usually this includes letting her go outside and just run because despite how little she sleeps that girl has so much energy). No matter how Daisy is feeling Karen is always there with exactly what she needs.

Billy Dunne: At first Billy didn’t fully understand Daisy’s regression. But once he got it he was completely understanding. No matter if he’s on good or bad terms with big Daisy he can always put it aside for the sake of baby Daisy. When she regresses in the studio he likes to write and play little lullabies and kid songs for her which she adores. More often than not the rest of the band will leave them to write for the album and return to Billy singing and playing a song he’s come up with on the spot while Daisy jumps around sings along with him.

Camila Dunne: Camilla is a natural born caregiver. She knows Daisy is a little from that first night they meet. She doesn’t say anything at first because she really doesn’t know Daisy that well at all but she does bring it up to Karen who later confirms her suspicions. She’s very gentle and understanding with Daisy. Talking to her calmly when she’s overwhelmed, taking her side when she’s upset because of a fight big Daisy had with Billy. She knew with Karen too, the second Karen considered regressing Camila could tell. She's so gentle with soothing Karen into it, just holding her quietly so she can receive some comfort without having to admit how she's feeling.

Simone Jackson: Simone is the first person to figure out about Daisy’s regression and she’s the first person to ever make her feel validated and understanding of herself. She does everything she can to help Daisy become more accepting of herself. She buys her colouring books and pyjamas with kids cartoons on them and every time they are shopping and she sees Daisy eyeing a stuffie it goes straight in the cart. She worries about Daisy all the time and is constantly on damage control to make sure she takes care of herself. When she moves away she makes sure to call Daisy consistently both when she is big and little because she’s worried Daisy will get lonely.

Tara: Tara regresses to around 4. She’s very clingy but also just damn adorable. She has a little lamb stuffie which she brings everywhere like she even keeps it in her dance bag when she has class. And again, very clingy to both Kat and Sammy. But that also means she adores them. Yknow (you probably don’t I doubt anyone who’s seen the show will see this) the scene at the end of s1 where her Clara dress goes missing and they ask what she needs and she only wants cat? Literally the most regressor coded moment ever.

Kat: Kat never would’ve expected she’d be able to take care of a little. In fact most times she rarely knows what she’s doing at all. But then she reminds herself it’s just Tara, and she loves T, so really, it’s not that hard. And truthfully she’s amazing at it. She always knows what she needs and how to calm her down.

Sammy: Sammy is more of an older brother to Tara. He spoke her rotten. Tara’s always quite uptight when she’s big and struggles to relax, even when she’s little. It’s sort of Sammy’s life goal to help her actually have some fun from time to time.
