That turned out so cute!! Thank you so much for tagging me, and oh my goodness I know what you mean about not leaving a big enough opening for turning, I did the exact same thing the first time I made one of these

Okay I saw @tj-crochets manta ray patterns and I was so excited about them I had to make one real quick 😅 I will admit I'm at my family's house and we don't have a printer so I had to free draw the pattern onto my fabric but it worked out pretty well! I will say 1- make sure to leave yourself enough room to turn the plushie because I did NOT and I had to rip some seams to get it to fit 😅 but here's my little sea flap flap!

Thank you so much TJ for having such a cute pattern available for free! I'm really looking forward to making another manta ray when I have more fabric to work with!

Sometimes you just want to make a giant plushie to see if you can and the only fleece you have that’s big enough is neon orange and yellow

Featuring a mini manta ray made using @firesidetextiles space fabric for scale. And also me, for scale lol

#sewing #handmade #giant manta ray plushie #manta ray plushie #my phone keeps autocorrecting it to ‘manga ray’#the wings aren’t quiiiiite as wide as I think they should be #but this was how much of the fabric I had left #therefore this is how big it is #because for once in my life there is no pattern!#I just freehand cut out half a manta ray (after folding the fabric in half for symmetry)#and then put that piece of fabric on top of my other piece of fleece #and cut out the second piece #haphazard! I forgot seam allowances existed for a minute!#but it turned out well and only took around half an hour to make!#I want to make an army of them!!!!!!#a flock! a gaggle!! a parade!!!!!!
