like Maybe if her comments weren't repeating EXACTLY WHAT YOU CAME HERE FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE THAT SHE HERSELF DIRECTED YOU TO she would be f i n e . . .
teehee afternote from the tags below lmao
i maxxed out the tags by accident but it ended up being the last one i wanted to put in there anyways... but then i got sad i couldnt add more so that would've been another tag to add but then it wouldn't have been necessary? love that
i do like the posting ui. u can save drafts and it actually keeps ur tags, add the post to the post queue, also can set to post at a specific time/date very cool! there's good colors to choose from too! u can super easily add pictures gifs links audioclips make polls and you can make a break in the page for optional more content for the readers. that could negate the tag thing but we all know there's the shows and book and movies etc. that have a million characters and 30 wouldn't be enough for all the characters LMAOOO
ANYWHOOOOO time to learn how to fix this and get hired at tumblr to sort out the tag situation
also also first post that isn't a repost i think? omg mom look im doing it am i doing it right?
#loz skyward sword#skyward sword link#skyward sword fi#please nintendo why#teehee extra rant xPP#its not fine actually#she Also repeats exactly what you just learned Two Seconds Ago#she actually for real does that and its so aggravating#she makes this game so hard to play#its not a Difficult game its just So Hard to go through it and not want to chuck the wii remote at her face when she says stupid shit#AUGHHHHHH#im still forever obsessed with skyward sword its just so silly and goofy pilled#shout to my boy groose#the silliest and goofiest of guys#be like groose learn from your mistakes and change your ways#but seriously why is fi here#starting a gofundme to remaster the game Without fi or like idk maybe give her helpful dialogue or witty jokes like midna????!!!!!#man i love twilight princess#except for the stupid hard chase scene with Ilia and the sick zora prince in the cart going across hyrule field#shit suckkkkkeeeddddd and i did it with a gamepad for the gamecube its even Worse on the wii#but nonetheless twilight princess is so slay#im in love with the entire loz franchise tho so i cant say anything about favorites#i could Get Into That Shit And Talk All Damn Day if you let me cuz there are so many good ones and bad ones and nostalgic ones and blah bla#this shit took me like an hour to make#the picture was the easy part but DAMN the tagging ui on the tumblr mobile app is So Bad#why cant i edit tags after i see they're misspelled when i add them too quickly#AND WHY IS IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REARRANGE THE TAGS AFTER ADDING THEM#i try and move a tag up One and it goes All The Way To The Top then i try to move one down and it just Doesnt Move#WHY IS IT ALSO SO QUICK TO DELETE THE TAGS WITH THE BACKSPACE BUTTON WHYYYYY#discovering the pain of this app as we go but we go anyways 🤪

Okay, found an adorable Link-ism while playing through Twilight Princess last night.
We all know that Twilight has a special affinity for animals.
Tumblr media
And that he's pretty emotive in the game, like when he finds a little treasure that makes him homesick.
Tumblr media
But--and so help me god I can't find a single video or gif of this--when you walk into Castle Town from the western gate, Twi will pretty insistently turn his head. The reaction has a pretty wide radius from the source. And anytime I notice that I'm always looking for a heart piece or a golden bug that I can go take to that autistic girl and get a fifty in exchange.
But there aren't any hiding treasures that I can tell. Just two Ordon goats, chilling in their market stalls, minding their business.
And Twi simply can't walk by without watching them every single time.

I kinda really love how crowded and full of games the downfall timeline is
It really does show how much the fate of the world rests on the hero, and how much affect he has on his world
Considering that downfall has so many games because of one link's faliure, causing such destruction that it just takes so so long and so many tries to fix it, and how in the timeline where link suceeds, there is so much less destruction, meaning that there is less burden placed on the heroes of those timelines
Really shows how strong ganondorf and the hatred he harbours really is but also shows how strong link is to face it over and over again, unreleting.
The world relies on link, the hero to keep them from harm, and the effect that him failing has just goes to show how important link really is

any chance I could get some comfort from blorbos? It's been a long day and I'm both tired and hurting (deep cleaning and moving will do that to you I guess)
No pressure if you're tired though!
Rusl stretched a little, back sore from sleeping on the ground. He felt the blood move in his legs as he flexed his feet and tried to let the coolness of the morning dew pull him into wakefulness.
He hadn’t slept the best, but he knew with the exhaustion headache he’d had yesterday he’d needed to rest. Link had volunteered to keep watch, and Rusl had naturally argued letting the boy stay up all night, so they’d compromised.
Wolf senses were far more keen, after all.
When a wet nose greeted him as he opened his eyes, prodding at him hesitantly, Rusl smiled sleepily and pushed his head off the ground for an instant to get a little peck on Link’s snout. His boy sneezed in retaliation, huffing and stomping his paws as he pulled back, irritated. Rusl laughed despite it, and Link quickly turned back into his normal Hylian form, face sour.
“Pa,” he grumbled halfheartedly.
Rusl’s smile lessened, almost apologetically, before he pounced on his boy, wrestling him to the ground and kissing his nose again while Link wiggled and yelled.

In my head, there are three different categorizations of Link from LoZ:
The General Link. This is the vaguest concept of Link. He’s a guy, usually dressed in green, who wields a sword and a bunch of funky tools and gadgets to beat up the bad guys and save Hyrule. Generally goofy in some flavor or another. Yells, otherwise doesn’t talk much, and typically has some beef with pottery. Each one of the Specific Links carries the General Link within them. Cool.
The Specific Links. These are the ones from the different games. Each Link, while a reincarnation of the same General Link, is still an individual person. Twilight Princess’ Link is not Wind Waker’s Link is not Zelda II: The Adventure of’s Link. They all have different personalities and people they know and goals they pursue and things they do. These guys are awesome.
The Powerscaling Link. This is a horrible Frankenstein’s Monster of Links whose strongest things have all been stitched together in order to prove he can beat Bungo Shlumpo or whoever the hell in a fight. He has every ability from every game regardless of how long there was between them or the unique circumstances that made it possible for him to get them in said games. Every Link’s greatest feats taken from their original context and stitched together to form a Link that never truly existed and never will, and who is well beyond the scale that the humble Link was ever meant to tread. Carries the spirit of neither the Specific Links nor even the General Link. All has been lost for the sake of power. I don’t like this one.

Dark Link Headcanons !!
Tumblr media
- He has a mirror obsession! Dark constantly checks his reflection, making sure he looks as menacing as possible. He can’t resist himself, and he has mirrors EVERYWHERE.
When no one’s around, he’ll rehearse dramatic monologues and intimidating taunts, perfecting each one to sound even more sinister.
- He’s Terrible at Directions: Despite knowing Hyrule inside and out, he somehow still gets lost in his own castle. He’ll stubbornly refuse to admit it, pretending he meant to take the “scenic route.”
- Dramatic Lightning Entrance: Whenever he walks into a room, he waits for thunder or ominous music. If neither happens naturally, he just sighs and makes dramatic sound effects himself.
- Loves Fancy Titles: He insists on being addressed by every possible title he’s earned or given himself—King of Shadows, Lord of Darkness, Duke of Doom—the list goes on.
- Naps Everywhere: Dark Link is known for sprawling out in the strangest places to nap, be it a stone floor, a tree branch, or a throne. The more uncomfortable it looks, the better the nap, apparently.
- Secret Love for Fluffy Blankets: For someone who embodies darkness, he has a surprising fondness for the softest, fluffiest blankets. He has a stash hidden away so no one knows about his cozy side. I imagine his skin and home is freezing cold ,, so bonus points if it’s an electric heating blanket.
- Overly Serious About Games: Be it a card game, chess, or even a simple guessing game, Dark Link goes all out. He treats each game like a battle and demands a rematch if he loses.
- Over-the-Top Poses for Portraits: If ever he had a portrait done, he’d strike the most dramatic, over-the-top poses, like standing with his sword raised, gazing off into the distance, or pointing ominously at nothing.
- Snarky Under His Breath: Dark Link has a habit of muttering snarky remarks about heroes, Hyrule, or even his creator. (Ganondorf and Cia) He’ll never admit to it, of course.
- Mimics Link for Fun: When no one’s around, he’ll practice Link’s moves just to mock him, adding dramatic flair or purposely overdoing it.
- Pretends to Not Care About Hobbies: He actually has a couple of hobbies, but he’ll act disinterested or too “dark and mysterious” to care. (Spoiler: he’s totally invested.)
- ohmygod this man is a YAPPER!!!! You start small talk with him and he WONT. SHUT. UP. ESSPPECCIALLYYY if you make the conversation about how cool and awesome he is,, he will talk for hours.
- Extreme Competitiveness with Link: If Link can do something, Dark Link immediately has to do it better, faster, and with more flair. If he can’t, he’ll sulk in a very dramatic, shadowy way.
- He’s a dumbass…….. write 7 x 4 ,, he’ll just frog blink at it. Someone please teach this man math…
- Refuses to Admit When He’s Wrong: He could be completely off about something, but he’ll dig his heels in and defend his point with absolute conviction.
- Easily Bored by Mundane Things: He zones out during mundane conversations, staring blankly and hoping he looks ominous instead of just zoning out.
- Obsessed with Hiding in Shadows: If there’s a shadowy corner in a room, he’ll gravitate toward it immediately. He insists it’s for “strategic purposes,” but really, he just likes lurking.
- Jealous of Link’s Popularity: Deep down, he’s a bit jealous of how well-liked Link is. He’d never admit it, but sometimes he wonders what it’d be like to be a “hero.”
- Pretends Not to Care About Hylian Gossip: He actually listens intently when he overhears people talking about the latest Hyrule news. He’ll scoff as if it’s beneath him, but he’s always curious.
- He’s the type of guy to say “Nono, I’m not hungry”,, but then steals all of your food. It really just does taste better off of someone else’s plate.
- Unconsciously Mimics Link’s Habits: After battling Link so often, he’s picked up some of his habits, like stretching his shoulders or adjusting his sword grip the same way Link does. He’ll be furious if he realizes it.
- Easily Annoyed by Kids: Kids aren’t scared of him at all, which drives him nuts. They’ll ask him questions, tug on his cloak, and call him funny names. He just growls and hopes they go away.
- Uses Darkness as an Excuse for Everything: Late to a meeting? “The darkness holds no concept of time.” Misses a step? “The shadows are unpredictable.” Anything goes if you’re the King of Shadows.

How long have you been drawing, and was there any specific piece(s) of media that greatly influenced your style?
Tumblr media
these were probably the biggest influences off the top of my head from when i was little tiny til my mid teens i’d say. they’re all still pretty visible in my art today too!
when i was old enough to hold a crayon my grandma set me up with a box of them and let me scribble all over the wall in our hallway and that trend pretty much continued my whole formative life. she would buy me sketchbooks, pens, colored pencils, my first tablet, etc. and now i’m a fulltime artist as a profession so! :-)

Im curious because I think I might be crazy
Also what are the movies you guys are rewatching?
My thoughts on each answer:
Only Once: Your favourite movies!?! Really!?!? …Okay 🤷🏻‍♀️ I genuinely don’t understand how that’s possible. I pretty much only ever watch a movie once if I really disliked it…even then I’ll probably wait some years and try watching it again
2-5 Times: This is how often I watch most movies..even ones I only kinda liked. I like to rewatch everything before actually deciding if I like it or not. The thing is..once I’ve seen it about 3 times I start to get too comfortable and decide I love it no matter what. I do this with songs too
6-10 Times: Okay this one I’ll accept depending on the reasons. If the first time you watched it was within 5-7ish years then I’ll accept it. I will also accept it if its a favourite, not because it’s a comfort movie, but because it’s genuinely amazing and you don’t want to become apathetic to it’s amazing-ness
11-20 Times: There are definitely quite a few movies I’ve seen this many times. Mainly ones that are shorter and have come out more recently.
More than 20 Times: You are my people. You get me. I have seen an unreasonable amount of movies dozens and dozens of times and I will watch them more times. To add some perspective I have seen Attack of the Clones seven times since January. That’s not even 4 months…imagine how many times I’ve seen it in total :)

i never really understood the criticism over the intro to twilight princess being “too long/drawn out”… like ok i get some people play video games for the Game part and want the Game to start asap. but to me it’s more of a story telling method/choice, like twilight princess over any other Zelda game feels like an epic or a myth.
you start off with the story of a young farm boy who enjoys peaceful days with his community, until that peace is suddenly torn from everyone. he starts on his journey not as a hero, just a kid who wants to save his loved ones. and after he’s secured the safety of his loved ones… he decides to keep going and saves the entire land. it’s not like he’s trained his whole life for this, he’s just driven by his good nature. idk i love the build up it really shows you how he’s lived his life and how world-shattering zant/ganondorfs takeover was

This isn't the actual Dad Squad snippet I'm gonna write, but this scene popped in my head and I didn't want to lose it, so here you go:
"The fact that they're kidnapping boys named Link," Rusl mused. "You think they're looking for a specific one?"
Abel watched him a long moment, eyes too knowing, face unreadable. His gaze flicked away, expression still stony, and he said, "I wouldn't know."
"Perhaps they have a vendetta against people name Link," Fierce suggested. When the pair looked at him, he smiled. "An attempt at a joke. Apparently I still must learn humor."
Rusl pat his strange friend on the back as Abel walked away. "I appreciate the attempt."
Fierce watched Abel go. "I recall others trying humor to cheer warriors who were hurt. Perhaps you'll have better luck."
"Abel isn't injured," Rusl noted, brow furrowing. Had he missed something? Surely the knight wasn't foolish enough to hide wounds.
The cursed deity was silent for a long time, still as a statue as his gaze lingered on the retreating knight. Then he looked down at Rusl, his face softening. "All warriors are injured. I have seen it. I am happy you are healing well."
The Ordonian blinked, surprised, as Fierce walked ahead, leaving him to ponder his words.
