Just finished watching the entire James Bond Craig's version and Mission Impossible francise in less than 3 night I think? And because I am bored I'll just make my own canon or just theory?
And am I the only one who find the similliarities in these two francise Like....
The serious "kinda* grumpy, and hot male protagonist
Tumblr media
Ethan Hunt and James Bond. Both of them was a rebellious agent, great spy, charming men with a very great charisma. And sometimes a little bit grumpy
The Opera Scene
Tumblr media
Looks familiar? Even if you hasn't seen both of this movies in a very long time, you maybe can't tell which one is?
The first pict is from Mission imposibble rogue nation (2015) and the 2nd pict is from james Bond quantum of solace (2008)
The hot girls
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both of them has been surrounding by too many beautiful, yet very smart and strong girls in all the francise.
The cute tech baby guy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The cute, nerd, smart, sarcastic tech guy, with glasses, who apparently marry their job and computer
Familliar Face
Tumblr media
Do you realized that both MI and James Bond hired the same actress? Yep. Lea Sèadoux. But this time, she was in MI first in 2011 and then she's in James Bonds spectre (2015)
The similliar plot (kinda)
Tumblr media
In Mission Impossible Rogue Nation (2015) Benji, the tech guy and also Ethan's friend has been kidnapped by the bad guy and they put a bomb on his body. (Sorry for the bad quality, I screenshoot it from my phone)
Apparently.... The kidnapping things also almost happen in James Bond Spectre.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the 1st version of the original script from spectre (2015) Q is suppose to get kidnapped by spectre in swiss, they tortured him, and Bond found him in the Spectre's prison barely alive.
And he had to killed a men and blow the entire building with Bond's exploding watch.
But unfortunately the script get leaked in 2014, and they changed the entire plot which is suck, because this version can be a very great arc for Q and Bond's relationship. And Q's character itself.
Don't get me wrong, I love both of thw francise very much. And in fact that MI came out before Craig's Bond. And I didn't mean to accuses MI of imitating Bond, because they both great in their own way, and maybe the similliarities is just an accident or perhaps they just got inspired by Bond and also Bond, who may have been inspired by MI
But in my opinion, I like James Bond more...
Because Bond gave me the crazy details, the feels about the espionage world that really exist, and all the iconic characters such as M, Vesper Lynd, Quartermastee, eve Moneypenny, and many more that I can't get from Mission Impossible.
And... Bond really connected to almost like 90% british spy themes series from BBC. For example Sherlock.
The way Mycroft used M's quotes and he clearly mentioned Bond's name in one of the episode (don't ask me which one. Just watch it!) Just so cool, if we didn't pay to much attention we wont notice it.
And I watched like some random espionage things BBC series like one year ago, and they also overshadowing James Bond and called him the shadow.
So for me James Bond is the winner in my heart, but minus in life. He died while Ethan still alive for right now 💀
So thank you for coming to my bored blog in the middle of the night ✨

AU: genderswap, pre-relationship.
Jemima Bond rarely has  an assignment in London, and even more rarely she finds herself wanting to carry them on. She has to take out her Quartermaster, on a bloody date Alexandra Jesus Christ!, and she really wants it to go well because it's been months and still she can't help but imagine what her lips would feel like when they will finally kiss and how soft Q's skin is going to be under her palms. (Or how she would feel sitting on her lap, her long legs around her waist, moaning Jemima's name while she f- but no, no, not the time. First thing first: she has to ask her out.)
But, more than anything else, the secret agent wants to learn the name of her Quartermaster's cats and what she likes to do in her free time, does she have any?, and if their first meeting at the National Gallery was an indication of her love for art and fine things in general or if Tanner had anything to do with it. Or maybe both? Bond isn't this great lover of art, but she knows enough to spend hours walking in and out of every museum in London without running out of interesting facts to share with her companion. And she is even willing, actually she wants to listen and learn, all she can of Q's work. The way that girl's mind work is art, and probably the only type that's never gonna stop to amaze her.
She wants, and this shouldn't be happening, not after Venice, not after watching his body going down in the water without having a chance to save him, to stay the morning after and, with a little luck, even the one after and the one after. She wants breakfast, lunch and all the embarrassing stories Q can tell her about her childhood and, she wants all that will come from it.
So now she just has to pass Q-Branch's doors and to ask Q out, maybe before Alexandra does it for her and before someone starts to think she needs another round with the psychologist because standing for fifteen minutes in the same spot isn't really a great sign that everything's okay.
(Q accepts her invitations and, a couple of weeks, once Q-Branch stops a bomb and 007 has to leave for Jakarta, Jemima learns how Q feels under her hands, and lips, but she learns too what type of tea she drinks for breakfast.)

No Time To Die online film streaming ita gratis completo
No Time To Die Guardare - https://no-time-to-die-ita.blogspot.com/
Benvenuto all'ultimo evviva di James Bond.

"ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE" (1969) Review
Tumblr media
"ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE" (1969) Review At least ten years or more must have passed since I last saw the 1969 Bond movie, “ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE (OHMSS)”. EON Production’s sixth entry in the Bond franchise has the distinction of being the only movie that starred Australian male model-turned-actor, George Lazenby. It was the first EON movie that did not star Sean Connery – already fixed in the public’s mind as the only actor who can portray James Bond. And it was the only movie that was directed by former film editor, Peter Hunt.
I first became aware of “OHMSS” back in the mid-1980s. I had seen it on television once, when I was a child. But ABC Television’s botched editing had turned me off from the movie. I eventually became a fan during repeated viewings of the movie during the mid and late 1980s. By the beginning of the 1990s, “OHMSS” had been fixed as my favorite Bond movie. For years, it remained in this position, despite repeating viewings of other Bond movies, the release of the Brosnan films and my own mysterious reluctance to watch “OHMSS”. It seemed as if I was afraid to watch it again, fearful that my earlier adulation of the film might prove to be misguided. And then EON Productions released “CASINO ROYALE” in the theaters back in 2006. "CASINO ROYALE" had impressed me so much that my doubts about “OHMSS” increased even further. After seeing “CASINO ROYALE” for the third time and 2008's "QUANTUM OF SOLACE", I finally decided to watch “OHMSS” for the first time in years. In the end, my fears seemed groundless. My latest viewing of “OHMSS” proved that I had every right to view it as one of my all time favorite Bond movies. After 41 years, the movie still holds up as one of the finest Bond movies in the entire franchise, if not the finest. And it also one of the few Bond films to closely follow its source, namely the 1963 novel penned by Ian Fleming. What makes the latter remarkable is that the previous Bond entry, “YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE” barely resembled its literary source, aside from a few characters and the setting. “OHMSS” picks up with Bond searching for Blofeld, now wanted by various governments for his past forays into international terrorism and extortion. His search leads to meeting the most important woman in his life other than Vesper Lynd – Teresa (Tracy) Draco di Vicenzo. Not only will his meeting with Tracy lead to a serious change in his private life, it will also affect his professional life, thanks to Tracy’s father, Marc-Ange Draco when he provides Bond with information leading to Blofeld. Of course, Draco was only willing to provide this information, if Bond courts his daughter. In the end, Bond not only tracks down Blofeld, but destroy the latter’s latest attempt to extort the United Nations. But as many know, Bond’s latest professional conflict will result in tragedy for his private life. I only have a few problems with “OHMSS”. One of them was the director Peter Hunt’s decision to have actor George Baker (portraying the real Sir Hilary Bray), dub Lazenby’s voice, while Bond is impersonating Sir Hilary at Piz Gloria. Why they had decided to do this confounds me. It seemed very unnecessary, unless the director was aiming for Sir Hilary to sound like a cliché of a British scholar. Another problem I had were some of the jokes that came out of Bond’s mouth. I consider this problem minor, since “OHMSS” – like many other Bond movies had its share of good and bad jokes. One particularly good joke was the St. Bernard who came to Bond’s “rescue” after the latter had survived his bobsled fight against Blofeld. And last, but not least, there were a few moments when the editing seemed a bit . . . questionable. A good example would be the scene that featured Bond’s first meeting with Draco. There is a moment when it seemed that Bond had asked Draco for Blofeld’s whereabouts. It seemed as if Lazenby had spoken too soon, cutting off actor Gabriele Ferzetti’s lines too soon. Another viewing seemed to reveal that poor editing might have been at fault and not Lazenby’s acting. And another review seemed to agree with my findings. Aside from the previously mentioned quibbles, I had no problems with “OHMSS”. In fact there is so much to enjoy about this movie – including the main star, George Lazenby. Many critics and fans either tend to dismiss his performance as wooden or give him minor credit for his valiant attempt at a decent performance. Frankly, I think that he was a lot better than many give him credit for. I must admit that he has a rather odd voice (which I suspect has been influenced by his Australian accent), but so did most of the other Bonds – including Connery’s tendency to indulge in pre-adolescent diction, Moore’s drawl, Dalton’s Welsh accent and Brosnan’s . . . well, I cannot really describe Brosnan’s voice. I just find it odd. But despite Lazenby’s odd voice, his acting comes off very natural and he seems to project Bond’s emotions with an ease that should not have come easy to him. But he does. And instead of portraying Bond as some kind of action/sexual icon, he portrays the character as very human. This is very obvious in the following scenes: -Bond’s growing impatience with Tracy’s antics -Bond’s surprise that M had given him leave instead of accepting his resignation -Bond’s breakthrough with Tracy -the Piz Gloria dinner sequence -Bond’s fear of capture during his escape from Piz Gloria -Bond’s proposal of marriage to Tracy -Bond’s quarrel with M over Tracy and Blofeld -Tracy’s death
Tumblr media
Personally, I thought that Lazenby really shined in the marriage proposal scene, those scenes that featured Bond’s quarrels with M and the Piz Gloria dinner sequence. Despite having his voice dubbed by George Baker in the latter, Lazenby managed to express Bond’s emotions during that scene effortlessly without having to say a word. The movie also benefited from the presence of Diana Rigg, who had recently left “THE AVENGERS” to begin a movie career. What can one say about the great Diana? Not only did she effortlessly combine all the complex personality traits of Tracy di Vicenzo – witty, emotional, sad, brave, determined, etc. Is it any wonder that Tracy is viewed by many actresses as the ultimate Bond woman? Even better, both Rigg and Lazenby managed to create great chemistry together as the romantically doomed pair. Not only did “OHMSS” benefited from both Lazenby and Rigg’s performances, the pair was ably supported by a fine cast that included the warm and charismatic Gabriele Ferzetti as Tracy’s father, the talented Ilse Steppat who portrayed the intimidating Irma Bunt shortly before her death (she never lived to experience the movie’s release), the always dependable Bernard Lee as M – giving one of his better performances, and the charming and fun Angela Scoular as Blofeld’s English patient, Ruby. Of course one cannot forget the legendary Telly Savalas, who became the second actor to portray Ernst Blofeld on-screen. And as far as I’m concerned, he was the best. He was not impeded by Donald Pleasance’s ridiculous scar and questionable accent or Charles Gray’s foppish portrayal. Instead, he radiated intelligence and menace, making him the only Blofeld (in my opinion) worthy of being Bond’s nemesis. I also have to commend Peter Hunt’s direction. “OHMSS” was his first time at bat as a director. Any other inexperienced director could have turned one of Ian Fleming’s best novels into a hash job. Fortunately, Hunt proved to be a talented director and did justice to the novel – although I did have a problem with the editing of a few of his scenes. Hunt was not only ably supported by a fine cast, but by screenwriter Richard Maibaum, editor and future director John Glen, and John Barry’s marvelous score and Hal David’s haunting lyrics to the song, “We Have All the Time In the World”. Cinematographer Michael Reed superbly recaptured the majesty of the Swiss Alps and the exotic elegance of Portugal with his photography. And one cannot forget skier Willy Bogner Jr. and Alex Barbey for creating the first and probably best ski chase in the Bond franchise. I could probably go on about how much I love “OHMSS”, but I do not want to sound repetitive. What can I say? After 39 years, I consider to still be one of the best Bond movies in the franchise . . . and definitely one of my favorites. And I am happy to see that “OHMSS” is finally being recognized by many as the fine film it is. If you have not seen this film, I suggest that you rent or buy it as soon as possible. Or else you might miss something special.

I'm not sure if this is the type of question you take but I'll try it. Im writing 3 books & in the 1st my male MC falls in love with his female work partner. Its a very will-they-won't-they situation which eventually works out, but in the end she turns out to be a villain and my MC is left heartbroken. In the sequel he meets another woman who eventually becomes his wife. However im unsure of how to develop the relationship without repeating the 1st 2 but also working the MCs sithation into it.
This sounds a lot like the plot of the James Bond story and film Casino Royale, Bond falls in love with fellow MI6 agent Vesper Lynd, and later it turns out that she was a double agent the whole time. The betrayal is given as a kind of justification for Bond’s later habitual promiscuity (kinda flimsy, but there you go!)
Now, as to the question ‘how to develop the relationship (with the second woman) without repeating the first’, first up, remember that as she’s a different woman, with a different personality, experience, wants, goals, etc, the relationship will be different.
Beyond the simple fact that she’s a different individual, though, you might want to consider changing up the romance subplot’s structure. The first woman was will-they-won’t-they? Have the second be infatuation at first sight, or friends-to-lovers. Make it something different, and have the MC think about the difference between the two relationships.
And I’m sure that you’ll do something a little more ... engaging with your MC’s personal development after the betrayal than Ian Fleming did with Bond. You might want to talk to @scriptshrink or @scripttraumasurvivors to figure out how he might react to such a big breach of confidence, and work out how you could incorporate the emotional and psychological fallout of the first relationship into his personality and figure out how it will affect the second relationship.
I hope that helps!

Daniel Craig vestirà per l’ultima volta i panni di James Bond nell’attesissimo No Time To Die. Craig saluterà ufficialmente l’iconico personaggio dopo averlo interpretato in cinque film (soltanto Sean Connery e Roger Moore erano apparsi in ben sette film della saga).
Naturalmente, questa cifra aumenterà dopo l’uscita di No Time to Die.
In Casino Royale appaiono 26 drink, mentre in Spectre 25.

In a kinder universe Vesper doesn't die in Venice because she doesn't die at all, if not years later when she is old and tired and happy about her life, and James can take her back in London with him. She sits on one of the most uncomfortable chairs in all MI6 and talks, talks for hours about plans, moving money and names, so many names they are still searching them even after years since that day. She gets a new identity, a new life and a new shiny car out of the deal, James gets a proper goodbye, a kiss a bit too long for Tanner's taste and a promise to write him when she'll feel safe.
SPECTRE dies before James eyes six months later and there's a single message he composes, a simple it's done and then life goes on. Vesper is Linda now, living her life far away from England and the Queen, her skin a little less pale than before and an impressive number of friends who goes to her Saturday brunch, every two weekends. James smiles at the invitation, without an adress or a date, he periodically receives in his mail. Someone is kissing his shoulder and adding his shirts and his favourite blend of teas in the cupboard.
Even in a kinder universe Moneypenny and her mistake find their way to Istanbul and he still falls down, the water is freezing and he tries to just not forget he made a promise he would not be able to keep, and even when he thinks nothing more could drag him lower point the MI6's building explodes and James in back, Q is sitting in front of a stupid painting, this time he's there before the agent, and he says his bit about old warship and force of time. There are meetings that, even across universes, can't be change. James smiles and takes what he needs from his new Quartermaster (all the equipment and a welcome home written in the same calligraphy he dreamed for months, while he was lost). Silva is a lonely pawn in a larger game that doesn't exist this time around but still takes away M with him and grief almost takes out James with them. It doesn't happen, in the end, because Q is there but Moneypenny is just a step behind and Tanner is smiling at him and hanging out in his apartment, sharing memories of Olivia Mansfield and all the funny bits of the stupid ceramic bulldog James has now.
He meets Madeline, just a little earlier, and she is one of the new MI6's psychiatrist, asking him to complete sentences and trying to outsmart him in commiting a mistake at every turn. He sees her a couple of times, and he even admits he could try and be sincere for once, with a person of that profession, but he's back on the field before the end of that day and the thought gets lost in the middle of hundred others.
Felix comes back after years, almost already ten since Venice, and takes a kid, he swear she can't be anything else if not a kid, and they end up working together again, Paloma looking around with her big eyes and big dreams and James could hug her because she is just so happy and seemingly innocent. Q slips them an invitation to their wedding during dinner and Nomi claims the title of 008 three weeks later. M decides, after just one mission, that 007 and 008 won't ever again work together because next time they would probably end up killing each other and not the target. Q and Eve finds the whole deal hilarious and Q kisses James a little longer, and maybe a little harder, when he comes back in one piece and Nomi is there too, alive and well even if not the happiest. They can all live with it.
James sees the island, the same one he's going to die on in a less kind universe, but he isn't alone this time. In front of him Q, Thomas, is reading his promises and they're exchanging golden rings and kisses before the day is over and Nomi is dancing with Paloma, M is drinking one too much for once and Tanner is walzing away with Moneypenny on the dance floor.

James Bond Is a Straight White Man Now, But Should He Be in the Future?
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
The next James Bond movie, slated to come out in 2020, is expected to be Daniel Craig’s last as 007. That has anyone even vaguely interested in Bond speculating about who should replace him, and a number of people—including a Bond producer—have suggested the character should be played by an actor of color or a woman.
On Friday, the actor Ralph Fiennes, who plays M in the latest Bond films, waded into the discussion during an interview on the BBC show Newsnight, saying: “I’d like to see a great black actor inhabit a Bond-like persona, but necessarily have it be in the same franchise. I think we remake the idea of a Bond as a woman, or as an actor of any ethnicity in another vehicle.”
The comments drew an almost immediate reaction on Twitter, where the audience seemed split: some people applauded the statement, while others pointed out that, uh, Ralph, you took over the role of M from Dame Judi Dench—a woman—who was playing a role originally written for a man.

Fiennes wasn’t the first actor last week to comment on the topic. Eva Green, who played Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale, was asked the same question during the premiere of Dumbo. “I’m for women, but I really think James Bond should remain a man. It doesn’t make sense for him to be a woman,” she said. “Women can play different types of characters, be in action movies and be superheroes, but James Bond should always be a man and not be Jane Bond. There is history with the character that should continue. He should be played by a man.”

No one outside Eon Productions, the company that makes Bond films, knows who will inhabit 007 after Craig. Oddsmakers in Great Britain have narrowed the field to six men, only one of whom, Idris Elba, is not white. Elba, who has signaled that he isn’t really interested in the role anyway, ignited this conversation when, in 2018, he posed this question during an interview with Variety: “Are we interested in having a Bond character other than being a male? It could be a woman—could be a black woman, could be a white woman. Do something different with it. Why not?”
Fiennes and Eva Green both make good points: People love to complain about the reboot culture in Hollywood, so why not build a new super-spy franchise around a woman or person of color? But this ignores (at least) three much larger points.
Hollywood is risk averse.
Hollywood studios love reboots and existing franchises because they’re bankable—the risk of investing hundreds of millions of dollars in Bond, or Star Wars, or Marvel anything is far less than pouring money into something entirely new. If you want to see a woman or a person of color lead a major franchise, the surest way is to give them something that already exists.
James Bond is a fictional character.
No one is suggesting the next World War II drama recasts Winston Churchill as a woman and FDR as a Hispanic man. But James Bond is not a real person. He jumped from Ian Fleming’s imagination onto the pages of a book, then onto the big screen. Yes, Fleming imagined him as a straight white man—real people Fleming knew did inspire Bond—but his books were written in the middle of the 20th century. Plus, the movies have evolved beyond the source material. And anyway, Shakespeare is constantly restaged with characters of different gender, race, and ethnicity—it has helped keep those plays vibrant.

Recasting Bond would be enormous for underrepresented people.
James Bond is clever, tough, intelligent, reckless, suave, stylish, and sexy. He’s a national hero, who saves the day every time. Now imagine what it would be like for a first-generation African immigrant in the U.K. to see himself in the form of 007. Imagine women watching helpless men abandon their allegiances to the forces of evil because they cannot resist a female Bond. Imagine how complicated the world would be for James Bond if he was a gay man but his job entailed sleeping with female foreign agents. Imagine if James Bond developed a chronic illness, nothing that would force him to quit his high-risk job but enough to make life more challenging. In fact, one of the men that oddsmakers like for the role, James Norton, has Type 1 diabetes. What if he brought that to the role? For the millions of children with Type 1 Diabetes, seeing Bond as a diabetic would give them a larger-than-life role model and eliminate any lingering stigma around the condition.

The most foundational part of James Bond—beyond the character’s immutable traits—is the fact that he’s British. And that means anyone who’s British should be able to play the role, whether it’s someone with royal blood or a second-generation citizen of the Crown. (In fact, two non-British men—George Lazenby, who’s Australian, and Pierce Brosnan, who’s Irish—have played the role.)
Introducing a new Bond who isn’t white, male, or straight would require some rethinking from the screenwriters. According to the books and movies, Bond was born in Scotland. He’s orphaned. His family has an estate. He becomes a Naval officer. This narrative could stay in tact, more or less, with some adjustments that could make the franchise more interesting.
Without changing the race and gender of Bond, the character has already evolved over the years. For instance, Bond was a chainsmoker in the ’50s and ’60s. Today Craig—who does enjoy a smoke here and there—seems more comfortable in the gym than the smoking section. Fleming’s Bond also served in World War II. Craig’s Bond is born in 1968, twenty-three years after the war ended.
James Bond on film has already evolved from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig.
Eon ProductionsGetty Images
All this is to say the Bond character is forever changing and, if it’s to continue for generations to come, must grow and adjust itself.
Ultimately, I’m not advocating for the Bond producers to absolutely hand over the role to someone other than a straight white man. I do think Elba saying, “Bond, James Bond,” in his raspy purr would melt audiences and open an exciting new chapter for 007. I also think Tom Hardy would bring a refreshingly gritty side to Bond (even grittier than Craig’s portrayal). Hell, I’m even confident Tom Hiddleston—who was great in The Night Manager and is currently the odds-on favorite for the role—would make a perfectly fine James Bond. But fans of the franchise must consider how truly profound it would be for underrepresented people to see themselves in one of the world’s most iconic characters.
He/she can still drink a vodka martini, shaken, not stirred.

Headcanon/fix-it of sort: contains spoiler of No Time To Die.
And then death will come by water. James doesn't know, doesn't remember who wrote this words, or if he just made them up, but nothing could be more true. Water took away Vesper, water drowned him away and saved him after Istanbul eben when he's not sure who came back after he woke up, water drowned slowly all the tears he wasn't crying during M's funeral and water took away his chance to save Felix. Not long after he will learn that water, freezing water, will forever link Madeleine and Safin. Water is where Safin shoots him so many times he doesn't know how he still finds the strength to get up and to finish the mission. Q voice is a balm for his soul even when staing awake is a constant struggle.
And then death will come by water he whispers while M is talking in his ears and Moneypenny is doing the same and then Madeliene is there too, telling him he can come back now, that everything is going to be okay, that they're safe. But all James wants to do is sit down and watch the immensity of the ocean before it's going to take him away too and he hopes, he really does, that his soul will find Vesper and Felix's because water took away one people too many from him and it can pay him back talking him to them now.
Water isn't how death comes to him in the end, at least for now. Death doesn't come to him at all. He wakes up and everything is white and shiny, nothing hurts and someone is holding his hand. Death isn't going to come by water James, not until I have something to say about it that someone whispers in his ear and sleep comes to him sounding like a blessing and a promise of a future the water isn't going to touch, until they're going to be together.
