WHY TO VOTE MIKAGE AND MIKAGE'S PHANTOM IN THE PLURAL TOURNAMENT

while not canonically described as a system the parallels are VERY clear, starting from the very CAUSE of mikages phantoms (she has like a lot) being their mothers abuse

there are even more phantoms than one and some of them have very interesting ideas behind them (the third shadow who ran away and tomodachi who is literally based on all of mikages other friends. also she isnt actually even named tomodachi thats just an epithet as it means friend

they have very real parallels to actual system roles mikages phantom coming across as a persecutor-protecter and mikage coming across as a persecutor-host

their dynamic is so interesting with the harm done to each other and how you can interpret their dynamic

mikages phantom is the most interesting character EVER to only be talked about once by her creator

they are VERY awesome and bad for each other.

mikages phantom is also in love with mikage. this is not good for her but its good for content . also shes insane about it./

they are from harumaki gohan’s multimedia series envy phantom. harumaki gohan is an amazing vocaloid producer who tells amazing stories with his songs (and artbooks)! they’ve got a concept album, a game, a live show, and a manga!

their dynamic is literally SO fucked up. phantom wants to protect mikage at all costs and dedicated her life to her, losing her identity and damaging herself forever. but her ways of protecting her involve cutting her off from her friends and more. meanwhile mikage does not give two shits about phantom, and can even be considered downright abusive towards her

they have a really cool headspace (though it might be more than just an average headspace, given harugo’s lore about dream planets and stuff. still a headspace tho)

they’re explicitly stated to be a traumagenic system, the trauma being mikage’s mom’s awful controlling and mentally abusive treatment towards her

phantom gets fucking murdered by mikages best friend yuuhi

the third phantom somehow RAN AWAY and now may or may not live on a completely different planet

they both have cringe fail crushes (mikage likes this loser named spica and phantom likes this loser called mikage)

their system has tomodachi who is weird in that she can apparently physically manifest herself in her own body in our world (albiet in a… weird form.) tomodachi is the girl ever. its implied that she spent a week buying ice cream using mikage’s body when she literally has her OWN body which is more fucking hilarious the more you think about it. by the way this is a major plot point

mikage has autism. did i mention that. this isn’t even me saying that shes “such an autism creature”, there is evidence for this throughout the entire series. she is THE autism creature
