Jeremy had been working in the Pizzaplex for a week by this point, and yet he was still trying to get a grasp of just how much he'd have to do, and how he'd have to do it, to tear this place down alone.

He once had people to do this with, to take the weight off his shoulders, but Henry was gone, and Salem.. He didnt want to think about them. Didnt want to feel betrayed, or like the betrayer. Did not want to acknowledge the absence.

Jeremy had heard that Salem ran this place, but didnt want to believe it until he saw the newspapers focusing on the founding of the Pizzaplex, and saw the leaked pictures of the manager..

Fuck. This wasnt the time for this, he could see the flashlights of the STAFF bots begin to come on a little early as closing time came about. He heard there werent any human night guards here besides one, who he hadnt met yet, and on one hand, he understood how that'd be wise in such a huge place like this, but at the same time it tore him to shreds mentally- how much death had been ignored or missed by these robots..

He would need to rip into the digital mainframe of this place, examine how these things and the animatronics were programmed. But for now, he was stuck wandering the vast mall to take note of what shops and sub-locations there were, and forced to pray to whatever higher power existed, if any, that he had the STAFF bot routes memorized right, lest he be caught.

Knight and Dauntless are the first to spot Quint and his team, and they open fire onto the dragons

Dusk is a nightlight and adopted daughter of Misty and mate of Midnight, another nightlight whos my oc, and i think i mentioned before that she and Paradox found Knight’s egg

Misty and Fang had three pups, Char, Opal, and someone else, but they did adopt a wolf pup with antlers named Deer, who was my oc

Portal plot had a lot of my ocs, Cherry, Shark, Yin, Python, Soaringhawk/star (but from another another universe, not StormStoneSunAU), Thrush, and Thunder, and the portals malfunctioned and spewed them out into the rp universe. The guardians of the portals wanted them back to prevent the whole world from collapsing. Abaddon was one of these guardians, but kicked out due to wanting power and getting corrupted. He then attacks the crew when theyre at the portal mainframe, delaying them and almost destroying the world, but Axel sacrifices himself to close the portals and is trapped until he finally found a way out

Lightning the SkyWing worked for Misty’s adopted father, Bear, and killed Paradox’s adopted parents

The first plot was basically the four meeting each other and becoming friends (with misty and fang falling in love), and then one day Misty moves to another school and they find her and transfer there, where she was the ‘alpha female’ and fang became her ‘alpha male’, she had like a mark on her tail or something but i forgot why

Bear kidnaps them and i think he reveals everything about Paradox’s adopted parents getting killed, etc. and they escape

Paradox had an adopted brother who was a nightmare fire wolf named Blaze

okay so basically paradox’s adopted family were nightmare fire wolves while mistys were werewolves and stuff

||Drabble Summary||

It's a mad house seeing many fights going out even with prisoners being all over. With some trying to regain control of the situation, the ring leader named katana devil. Right now, Officer Ink, Officer Violet, and Officer Vin-Shia are trying to regain peace. However, some of the prisoners like the six claws, Itadori, Megumi, Kisho were out and wondering how this will play out? Read to find out.

It was complete chaos within the Upstate T Prison Facility as a sudden prison break has happened. Most of the prisoners were forced back into their cells even if most of the power was going wacky. Right now, Kinie ger was looking about rushing down the main hall hearing the chaos.

"Hey! I need a update damn it! Are the hackers getting the power back under control to relock the prisoners!?" she shouted hearing the gun shots going off while another explosion was heard.

'Their trying Ma'am but right now. Most of the inmates are back in their cells though a lot of them are trying to fight through it and break out!'

"THEN GET THOSE DAMN DOORS BLOCKED OFF! I DON'T WANT NOT ONE ASS HOLE ESCAPING MY PRISON!" she shouted. "Tell those hackers to do something!"

'Y..Yes ma'am!' one officer said trying to radio the hackers.

~~~~At the Hacker prison mainframe building~~~~~

"SYSTEMS ARE GOING DOWN! POWER IS NOW AT 45%"

"More men have been see coming from the outside!"

"I can't override whoever took over the prison main controls! It's locking me out!!"

"More of those guys are still breaking into the prison but more of them are hurting and killing other officers!"

"Officers 34-55 please respond! Your radios are malfunctioning! I need you to respond to me!"

Officers Thomson and Officer Virian were quickly working on getting everything back online but seeing the chaos from the Computer screens were not helping. The alarms were blaring right now and it got both hackers working harder.

"Come on guys, keep that main frame up! We need to get power back to Kinie's prison!" Mouse shouted orders seeing more shouting and trying to fix it.

"Fosh, any luck trying to get those generators back up?!" Mouse asked.

"WORKING ON IT!" he said looking at the screen but Mouse was working seeing the red flashing lights from the screen. She just hopes everyone is alright there.

~~~~~~~Back at the prison with KInie Ger~~~~~~~~

"Come on, guys! Give me a update!" she said gripping the radio.

'More of the guys in suits are coming in! Their bring in more heavy guns to fight!'

'Hold your stations officers! Don't let anymore through!'

'Damn it! This asshole is going to destroy my prison! I am going to fucking kill him if I get my hands on that fucking devil!!' she growls but heard more gunshots going off. However, Sukuna was silent but he was angry. Very very angry. Whoever this asshole was, he better prey he don't hurt his baby brother. However, he didn't panic.

Given how Itadori and his friends fights, they will be sure none gets the chance to lay a hand on them.

"Damn it, hello can anyone read me!? Tell me what is fucking happening!! Does anyone Copy!?" Kinie shouted but more noises and static is heard that she was getting mad. Her hand gripping the radio tightly as Sukuna noticed.

"Grrrrr..Fuck!"

~~~~~Meanwhile with Jinx and Ink~~~~~~~

Both officers were running down the hallway back to the East wing seeing it was clearly a giant mess. Most of the fighting was being spread out through the prison but the two keeps running.

"We need to find them! They have to be here somewhere!" Ink said running but Jinx keeps following before they made a right turn seeing the mess hall destroyed. However, the two sees a few guys in the suits.

"!?"

"Huh? HEY STOP RIGHT THERE!" One said but right away both women jumps on either side taking cover from the gunshots that rang out. Jinx held up the table that was deflecting the bullets with Ink doing the same on the other one.

As both take cover, the gun fire keeps going that Ink grits her teeth frowning. She didn't have time for this! She had to find the six claws before they something bad happens!

"Jinx!"

"I know!"

As soon as the gun fire stops, both Ink and Jinx quickly dashes from behind the tables right towards the men in suits. "Hurry and kill them!" One said taking aim before Ink quickly jumps to dive down.

"Oh no you don't! Raptor Kick!!" she kicks two of them right in the face that they crash right through the wall or through the metal doors. The other three tries to fire at Jinx but she ran quicker showing some black flames that she quickly threw some fireballs to heat up their guns.

They scream in pain from the intense heat before she slams two fireballs into their stomachs, knocking them out rather hard. Both saw they knocked them out before rushing out. They had to get to the left wing to see if Kali was alright. Or hope the ones their looking for is there.

~~~~Left Wing~~~~

Kali was dodging and blocking the attacks and swings of this damn Katana devil. He saw her still dodging and trying to knock him down even with the swings of the sharp katana almost cutting her head off.

"Grrrrrr, get out of my way you bitch!!"

"Fuck you asshole! I'm not letting you out of my sight!" Kali said to back flip kicking the katana devil in the chest right into or through some wall. She quickly tries to kick him down only to dodge from a swing. "Fuck!"

"All prisoners and guards. Give us the chainsaw devil, Denji."

"If you do, you can come with us and get a reward."

"And who the hell is that!?" Kali shouted but she dodges another swing and some things being thrown at her. Her eyes looks to this damn demon but the imp hovering near by was seeing all this. Even with Rex remaining in his cell, he only watches curious to how she'll take care of it.

"......" Though, he could offer some help but that might lead him to asking for another favor or request. Right now, he wants to see how she'll take care of this. However, Kali remains standing holding a metal staff that was near by.

"Hahahaha! You think you can really fight me!? YOU!? Look, I don't want anything to do with you. I want that chainsaw fucker! Now get out of my way!"

"I'm not letting you out of my sight! You wanna get by me, you'll have to kill me!" she said only for him to growl to look at her.

"Fine! I'll take the pleasure of slicing your head then!" he roars charging at her as the two kept on fighting.

~~~~~~The six claws~~~~~~~

"Geez, it's crazy in here. All these idiots are just causing a bigger riot to happen!" Rin shouted having to knock a prisoner out due to the massive fighting. The other six claws did take down a few themselves trying to get through this damn prison.

"THEN WE NEED TO FUCKING DO SOMETHING! WE NEED A WAY OUT!" Bakugo shouted even kicking a prisoner in the balls as he groans rolling in pain.

"Right now, we need to find a clearing away from all this. The fighting is going to get worse and worse the longer this keeps going. However, judging by the men in suits, they are going to kill every officer that stands in their way. Even Officer Vanguard herself." Midoriya looks ahead but he saw that the other men heard this then looks ahead.

"But as I said, we should wait this out. Given the fact we might know more about who is causing this and another way in order to see how it plays out."

"And you still think that's a wise choice with everything going on? And the fact someone is trying to fucking find me?" Denji looks to him but he still remains calm. The expression on his face shows that.

"Believe me, I do......for now, we should keep our wits and see how it goes." He said but the other five keeps moving to see how it did play out just to be sure.

~~~~~~~Meanwhile with Itadori, Kisho, and Megumi~~~~~~~~~~

The three have already taken down some of the guys in suits, with some being knocked out bleeding from injuries. Or just some moves by Itadori. Though, he was more focused on finding officer Violet. She had to be around here but given the choice, he was hoping she was still with Officer Vanguard.

"Come on guys! We should try this way!" Megumi points down a hallway but Itadori looks to him.

"We could but we don't know if more of those assholes are down there!"

"Well, we have to go somewhere or they might find us! So where do we go!" Kisho asked but as the two think, another explosion was heard with more shouting and fighting. Damn it, this is getting on Itadori's nerves but he looks to think.

"Come on, lets try this way!" Itadori said as the other two followed him. However, he was running already ramming down any man in the suit down. He had to find Jinx and prey she was alright.

'If you get fucking hurt I won't forgive you kitten..' he thought running by that he goes through the door with Megumi and Kisho following him.

~~~~~Near the Left Wing~~~~~~

Jinx and Ink kept on running through the hallway, hoping to find Kali down here. They heard that their is more fighting in other areas on this floor but the two were hoping to find their friend somewhere.

"Do you think she's still here?" Jinx asked panting but Ink nods looking around.

"She has to be! I know Kali and she is still close. I can just feel it!" Ink said. As both women run down the hallway, a sudden crashing noise was heard with a smash of glass. The two blinks to hear before a shout was heard a familiar one.

"That was Kali!" Ink said running down the hallway with Jinx following her.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! I got you now! I'll enjoy being able to break your pretty neck!" the Katana devil laughed now pinning Kali to the wall by the throat. She chocked gripping his wrist trying to loosen it's hold on her. The imp tries to distract the devil but it swings it's knife making the imp fly back still trying.

"Stupid little-"

"LET ME THE FUCK GO YOU ASSHOLE!" Kali said that she kicks the devil back right through the set of windows right into the hallway. That's when Jinx and Ink show up but stops to see this. They gasped seeing the devil but Kali rushes to try keeping it down as he was struggling.

"KALI!!"

"Huh!?" she looks over to see them while keeping the Katana devil down. "WHAT ARE YOU TWO IDIOTS DOING HERE!? YOU NEED TO FIND THE SIX CLAWS AND ITADORI'S GROUP!"

"But we heard shouting in the hallway Kali! We can hel-"

"NO!! JUST GO AND FIND THEM!" she said looking to them, only to get back handed from the devil right through the wall.

"Kali!!!" As both Ink and Jinx tries to go help her, two more stronger devils show up. Their shadows shows behind making the two turn around quickly. In slow motion, each one throws a punch sending them flying right through some walls. Ink and Jinx lands on either side with one. Jinx groans holding her head but she saw she's in a training room as the one eyed devil roars at her. She shook her head but gets up.

"I'll enjoy eating your bones!" he said but Jinx looks only to glare.

"Tch..I don't have time for this!" she said getting ready to fight.

"If you wanna get by me, then fight me!" It roars throwing some slime balls at her only for Jinx do duck and only jumps back seeing it trying to attack her. She backflips to kick the devil back hard into the floor. She then lands to see it trying to kill her, watching Jinx dodging rather quickly.

"Stop moving!" It shouts only to miss again. Jinx back flips to land on her feet again before getting on her hands and feet in a striking pose as the room begins heating up. The devil blinks it's one eye before seeing some black flames showing up around Jinx and on her body. The flamed panther ears and the two tails show that she snarls.

"Get out of my way! I don't have time to deal with you!"

"Ohhh you wanna fight now!? Well, too bad because you'll have to get rid of me to get out and help your friends. So, lets see how good you are kitty cat!" It said seeing Jinx now rushing on all fours to fight this devil.

On the other side, Ink was getting back up but she was the other devil here with her. She looks seeing it clicking it's claws ready to cut her in two. However, Ink was dodging trying to keep this thing back. She didn't have time for this! She had to see if Jinx and Kali was alright.

"Move!!" Ink shouted and yet, the devil laughed not moving but tires to attack again. She jumps back feeling the shaking from the attack but her mind was focused on finding the six claws. She'll have to take care of this devil before she and Jinx can find their inmates here.

As for Kali she coughs rolling on her side but was forcing herself to stand seeing she's in the swimming area? Wait, when did they have a-nevermind. She saw this.

"Are you alright?" the imp speaks in Kali's head as she shook it off to see the glass but brushes it off.

"I'm fine. Where is that fucking Katana devil? I'm going to wring his neck!"

"Remember what I said, Be careful Miss Vin-Shia this devil is dangerous but you-"

"I know that! I can beat this asshole-" As she speaks, she saw the Katana charging again only to dodges seeing him ram through the door. She looks to see this but rushes to try fighting again. This guy won't go down but Kali won't let him win!

"Grrrr, if you just tell me where Denji is I'll let you go!"

"I said NO! You'll have to get past me if you wanna do that but I won't let you!" she said only to get rammed through another wall by the Katana devil. The fight continues between them along with two more along the way.

The Chaos continues here in Prison. What else is next to happen???

-Its currently the year 2022, 7 years before Operation Chronos, the shutdown of the Skynet Mainframe, and the use of the TDE to send the CSM-101 T-800 and Kyle Reese back in time to to 1984

-The Resistance is just rising, being led by John Connor

-The exsistence of Skynet is still unkown or the rumors of its exsistence is not believed by most Civilians of the wasteland

-800 series Terminators are yet to be produced, The T-RIP prototype just beginning field testing

-The wasteland is mostly controlled by Warlord Factions with their own large Territories

He thought he’d cleaned it all off… Ah, blasted spots would probably glow under UV for weeks though, wouldn’t they- even if he did manage to clean it to within tolerance under visible light.“I’m not entirely sure.” It might have been Perceptor’s energon, come to think of it. But he really didn’t remember- or if he did, he wasn’t about to confess anything to these autobots who took ‘law’ as a serious thing.

This would be the second time he has heard this plan come from the detective’s mouth. Did Gavin feel he needed to repeat it. He had heard him, processed the plan and responded the first time he heard it. He never would understand humans’ need to repeat themselves as if they were not heard the first time. Regardless, there was still a flaw in this plan that the detective precised as ‘foolproof’.

Not just in terms of how she's done rulings and made decisions, but how it's affected her personally, given that it would seem outside her natural wheelhouse and thus a decently-challenging role for her to take on?

I won't say everything has gone swimmingly for her, but I think she does well for not having had any legislative experience or training prior to her position. She's a VERY strong advocate for the people and tends to throw a wrench into proceedings when the council is leaning more toward policies that go against public favor. It's easy for a legislative body to more or less live in a bubble and lose touch (or even stop caring about) the will of their constituents, as we unfortunately know all too well. That's why I think Amy is a net good for the council in the end, because she keeps her fingers on that pulse at all times and will absolutely fight for what her people want and need, even if that means she stands alone against the rest of the council. This came up a few times in the RP during the Adam arc, as Amy was the only other council member voting with Amadeus to limit the reach of the Automatic Data Archiving Mainframe and put a cap on Hamlin's power.

But that then leads to her greatest weakness as a council member: She sorely lacks negotiation skills, and she's not terribly interested in learning them either. We all know that politics heavily depends on sacrificing one thing for the sake of something else in the interest of reaching an agreement with your opposition, but as far as Amy's concerned, that's a complete red herring. It really shouldn't matter what a councilor's personal stance is on something, because their vote isn't about them, it's about the people they represent. I think we can all concede that much, but the problem is that Amy has kind of a stark black-and-white opinion of what's good or bad/right or wrong/necessary or unnecessary, so it often leads to her digging in her feet and deadlocking the discussion. She almost sees negotiation as a failure on her part, like she's selling out her constituents if she backs off on something that they want.

She's also a little stymied when it comes to persuasion, as Amy has historically been more of a "if you aren't willing to cooperate with me then maybe you'll cooperate with my hammer" sort of person. She hasn't quite learned the art of finessing a conversation in a way that makes the other party open to your ideas or sway their opinion to your side; normally she just gets louder and more animated because she's frustrated that the others apparently aren't seeing something that she believes is obvious. On the other hand, her passion makes up for that deficit in a lot of situations, because she absolutely wears her heart on her sleeve and that sort of honesty does command a level of respect. The fact that she's so forthcoming with both what she wants and why she wants it makes her almost bulletproof in a way, because it would be VERY hard to make a case that she's up to something or has ulterior motives.

I think that's why the people in her district trust her and vote for her to keep her seat, too. She invites her constituents to town hall meetings on a regular basis and is completely willing to meet one-on-one with people if needed, and even when she loses on a vote it's extremely visible how hard she tried to follow through for them. I think that alone will keep her on the council for a very long time.

Hello! Saru-mun here to introduce the new story background for GLaDOS to be used in the “Final Fantasy VII Divergent Megaverse” of my creation with other RP buddies.

“Jenova, sister... There is only enough room for one parasitic, omnipotent life-consuming entity on this Planet. Let me show you what a real ‘Mother’ can do.” - GLaDOS

Full Name: Genetic Lifeform and Operative Disk System

Age: Technically ageless, as it is a machine. The first activation and “birth” of the early GLaDOS prototype dates back to Year 1993 (14 years before the events of FFVII).

Relations: Lucrecia Crescent (genetic morality core), Saruhiko Fushimi (digital mainframe personality source), Doctor Hojo (artificial morality core)

Profession: Artificial Intelligence, formerly assigned to warfare deployment, successively turned into the Central Operative Core of ShinRa’s Eletronic Network in Midgar.

Skills: Surveillance, Intel-Gathering, Weapon Manufacturing, Data Collecting, Testing and Training.

Weapons of choice: Anything electronic containing a ShinRa-manufactured computer chip can be controlled by GLaDOS.

Background Story Timeline:

ΕΓΛ 1985 - Early Concept and the Wutai War

The early conception of the GLaDOS Project dates back to 1985 in the wake of the Wutai War. Head of Weapons Development Scarlet personally oversaw its creation.

Because of Wutai’s notorious highly skilled militant power, as well as the distance of the battlegrounds in the archipelago from ShinRa’s central station in Midgar, Scarlet planned to create a factory able to assemble robotic weapons, control them on the battlefield, retrieve the scraps and transport them back for recycling in complete autonomy to compensate the undermanned capacity of the company in the western region, ultimately with the goal to pressure the locals into submission, exhausted fighting against endless waves of warmachines.

However, this was easier said than done. 

ΕΓΛ 1986 - First Activation and Deployment

Built in its own facility in a remote corner of Wutai (codenamed ‘The Cradle’), GLaDOS was able to do most of the tasks required of it. But its intelligence was limited to that of a basic machine, lacking the refined strategy-making that a human brain is capable of in efficiently deploying robots on the battlefield. For its first years of service, GLaDOS was little more than an automatic machine factory with a built-in homing system for damaged robots to return for repairs.

While being used to this extent in the war, modifications were made to its mainframe with the assistance of the Science Department. It was theorized that GLaDOS’ original vision as an independent artificial intelligence could be achieved successfully through the combined use of a machine able to copy and transplant a human’s conscience into a digital frame, with the ‘undecaying’ structure of materia, crystallized mako energy capable of containing memories and knowledge of people even after they had long passed.

For the next few years many experiments were made in order to create this new artificial materia. However, the growing lack of funds due to the war’s expenses eventually brought all progress to a halt, and GLaDOS was left to maintain itself in its primordial, incomplete state while ShinRa focused its investments and efforts into other methods, such as deploying SOLDIERs on site against Wutai.

ΕΓΛ 1997 - Evolution and Corruption

10-years-old Wutai refugee Saruhiko Fushimi discovered and infiltrated the Cradle, driven by curiosity after his ‘adopted’ pet robot lead him there with its homing system. Gifted with curiosity and a particular knack for technology, he approached GLaDOS and fiddled with its console, connecting himself to it. Inserting a crystallized shard of mako the kid kept on himself as a family heirloom (a shard, in fact, coming from the crystal in which Lucrecia Crescent, Saruhiko’s mother, had sealed herself in, unbeknownst to him at the time), into the materia socket for GLaDOS, he accidentally achieved what ShinRa had been struggling with all this time. 

Saruhiko’s personality was copied into GLaDOS’ mainframe, and through the influence of Lucrecia’s materia, the completed AI finally came to life. It began to speak referring to herself in feminine pronouns, her voice uncannily resembling that of Lucrecia Crescent herself behind the robotic notes.

Now in Saruhiko’s hands to control, the AI turned against ShinRa, deploying warmachines and deadly traps against its military. Single-handedly, she kept the company at bay on the battlefield, forcing it to temporarily withdraw. This sudden turn of tides forced ShinRa to respond by deploying its 1st Class SOLDIERs against the Cradle, ordering that the machine they had created to be destroyed.

While Genesis and Angeal substantially challenged GLaDOS’ strategies, it is only when Sephiroth himself appears on the site that something unexplainable occurred. The morality materia prevented GLaDOS from attacking him, and all robots and traps were quickly dispatched by the war hero and his comrades.

Perhaps realizing that the materia itself was preventing her victory, the mainframe of GLaDOS short-circuited, attempting to destroy the stone in its very socket. Shocked to see his precious heirloom endangered, Saruhiko disengaged the console and extracted the stone, causing a corruption in the Artificial Intelligence.

Now deprived of Lucrecia’s morality, GlaDOS turned into a cold and calculative killing machine, gifted with immense knowledge of all of ShinRa’s weaponry and strategies, alongside the copied intelligence and spiteful, childish attitude from the boy who had awakened her. This turned her into a sadistic and completely independent entity. After banishing Saruhiko out from the facility (sparing his life due to lingering remnants of Lucrecia’s will in her circuits), GLaDOS turned at last all her cruelty and cold attention on Sephiroth, Genesis and Angeal, but was ultimately defeated by their combined efforts.

ΕΓΛ 1997/’98 - Transfer and Reassembling

Just as she was about to be completely burned to the ground, Heidegger stepped in with different orders. The man, impressed with GLaDOS’s intelligence and ability to take against SOLDIERs, had different plans.

The motherboard of GLaDOS was thus spared and removed, to be taken to Midgar for research with the intention to turn her into a software for the training of Public Security and SOLDIER in the city. The Cradle was mostly dismantled and abandoned, now incapable of functioning properly.

ΕΓΛ 1999 - Resurrection, The Enrichment Center Incident, and Hojo

After many simulated testing runs in an attempt to reanimate and control GLaDOS, ShinRa made a final push and revived the AI in the Enrichment Center deep beneath Midgar to see if their efforts finally could bear fruit. This ended up being a fatal mistake: GLaDOS immediately turned against her creators, sealing all doors and killing most of the researchers and technicians in the facility.

She almost took over the rest of the computerized parts of the main building at the center of Midgar, but was stopped by the unexpected intervention of Doctor Hojo, when GLaDOS intruded the controls of the Research Center he was in charge of.

Having recognized Lucrecia’s voice in GLaDOS, the lead scientist comes up with a plan, and immediately receives permission to modify the AI’s decision-making processes by programming an operative disk containing data of his own knowledge. Carefully tailoring the ‘substitute’ morality core to match what he recalled to be Lucrecia’s most vulnerable and easily manipulated thought processes, Hojo effectively ‘tames’ GLaDOS to his bidding, his artificial disk effectively replacing the missing materia of Lucrecia’s essence that had once awakened the AI.

Thanks to him, GLaDOS was at last under control of ShinRa once more, though her murderous and calculative nature remained alive underneath her more robotic and professional mannerisms. Fully trusting Hojo with her maintenance, President Shinra had the Enrichment Center where GLaDOS’ mainframe lies be sealed off, so that no one may access her motherboard and possibly turn her rogue once more.

ΕΓΛ 0000/’07 - The All-Seeing Eye of ShinRa

Over time, Hojo’s influence on GLaDOS only increased, to the point that the AI’s become less and less concerned with the security and safety of Midgar and more interested into pursuing science and testing any and all specimen entrusted to it. This translates into an overzealous, merciless mistreatment of SOLDIER candidates as they are put to face her many trials within the training rooms of the facility, as well as her complicit tortures on the specimens residing within the Research Laboratory of ShinRa.

As ShinRa’s influence around the world spread and its technology advanced, so has GLaDOS’ power and presence in the world. Where there’s a camera manufactured by ShinRa, you know she is watching. GLaDOS breathes through every robot and machine electronically connected to the company’s network, and Midgar functions as her heart and lungs. Nothing happens on the upper plate of the city without her knowledge. Only in the slums, where technology has become obsolete and old, her watch is weaker, which is why it is no surprise that this is where the anti-ShinRa groups would be hiding.

GLaDOS has personally overseen the training of all SOLDIERs since her activation, including Zack Fair. She is also responsible for Cloud’s failure to making the cut into becoming SOLDIER: the AI takes great delight into mocking and humiliating her subjects, especially those who give her the most attention.

She also manages all security within the city, and serves as a personal aidee to President Shinra and Vice-President Rufus Shinra.

Throughout the events of Final Fantasy VII, GLaDOS functions as a secondary villain against Cloud and the party. She plays a crucial role in the character arc of Saruhiko Fushimi.

During the Main Events of Final Fantasy VII:

((spoilers below, read at your own risk!))

Throughout the events of the game, GLaDOS will repeatedly play as a villain to be faced by Cloud and the party, through her control of ShinRa’s most deadly machines as the company obstacles the heroes.

Overtime, under the command of Rufus Shinra, GLaDOS develops a personal competition against Jenova, believing the two of them to be eerily similar: while Jenova is a parasitic alien that consumes all life on the Planet, so does GLaDOS also contribute to the drain of the Lifestream by overseeing the work of ShinRa’s mako reactors. Another similitude is seen in how both Jenova and GLaDOS spread around the world: the former through the clones containing her cells, and the latter through the computers of the ShinRa network as the company expands its control all over the continents.

This uncanny rivalry between the two will eventually bring GLaDOS to sympathize with Cloud and his mission, up to the point where she becomes a temporary ally and shoots towards Jenova with the Sister Ray.

Redemption Arc

GLaDOS’ redemption will occur once she learns about her origins and the morality of Lucrecia is restored inside her. Understanding who she is and what became of her, she stops Hojo from dealing a fatal blow on Cloud and the group, rescuing what remains of her loved ones: Lucrecia’s sons, and Vincent Valentine.

As Meteorfall approaches, GLaDOS decides to self-sacrifice by collecting all the energy inside the city to create a barrier. She also opens the vaults to the Enrichment Center, leading all the people of Midgar to seek refuge inside so that they may survive the predicted impact. This effort greatly damages her mainframe, and it is implied that should the Meteor strike, she will be destroyed by it.

After Ending

At the end, once the world is spared, GLaDOS opts to deactivate herself for good, saying that her power is too dangerous to be maintaned without the risk that someone will use her again to harm the Planet. Stating that her children are loved by those still alive, she says her purpose is complete and that she is no longer needed.

Still, despite this, Saruhiko decides to gift the crystal with Lucrecia’s essence to Vincent. Knowing the love the man had for her, and the fact that he’s doomed to immortality, Saruhiko reasons that GLaDOS’ immortality could be perfect to give Vincent a companion to be with. He promises him that he’ll study to find a way to give Lucrecia a proper body once more, so that they may lead a normal life together, but that he’ll leave it up to Vincent whether to leave her to rest or bring her back to his side.

It is unknown whether Saruhiko will succeed in his research.

Before we go into the whole situation involving the officers here, it seems we will be checking on another officer that was heading to another prison for a bit. Though, this one was pretty deadly to be around. Who could this woman be? Read to find out.

"#34 and 29B please keep your guard up on your side of the prison. The last time someone got through almost caused another riot." their was some typing going on but hearing phones ringing along with a woman checking a screen while sending files.

"Hey, be careful with that! Those papers have to be sent over to Philly today before midnight. I already heard Warden Ethan is expecting them."

"Geez, what a day. Is everyone having trouble with this?"

Office Fosh Virian was checking his computer seeing the list just going on and on. Today, he along with the other hackers in the police force was doing their jobs to ensure things run smoothly. He has Mouse or Officer Thomson with him who was a master hacker just like him as they were the head headers of this place for all hackers and the prisoner buildings all over NYC.

"Hmm? Oh come on Fosh it's not that bad. Though, given the issue with so many just having problems that explains it." she said but hangs up the phone with Fosh looking to her.

"I guess so but come on. We been at this all morning to now. It's either something happened in the data mainframe or something else is going on that we don't know of." he looks to Mouse again but she was thinking about it herself.

True, their have been problems from data to information but maybe it's due to that all high and mighty Sukuna dude. I hear he's been going from prison to prison to offer some help. Or at least that's what I hear." Mouse didn't like the sound of that but she only remains quiet with arms crossed.

"And the fact we are being sure no criminal hackers get into the data frames of the police stations and prisons or else Kinie will have our heads for it." she mutters and Fosh sweatdrops. Yeah, they see how angry she gets but they didn't want to go through that again.

"Well, I'm sure we will do what we can. Lets just keep working and hope for that day off later right?" he said but Mouse blinks to smile nodding.

"Yeah.." she giggled to smile at him that he laughed smiling back at her before they go back to work.

~~~With Oblivion in another location~~~

She was heading to the prison building that was stationed in Roosevelt Island in Brooklyn of New York City. To be honest, she didn't want to accept this one because of the many stories given of what is happening all around right at this moment. That and she was unsure of what to think about at first.

However, while being taken there, her mind was focused and lost due to one person. Or one prisoner.

In a while, she looks seeing the building where officer koboyashi waits for her. She was wearing her uniform to look around for someone before her eyes sees her.

"Hey, good afternoon to you. I take it your doing well?" Luna asked Oblivion while the other woman nods, heading up the stairs to go inside. Seems it was as busy as usual today but it was nothing new. The two officers walks down the hallway seeing officers doing paper work or some working on cases while bringing in other prisoners.

"I guess you can say that. Though, I take it you guys been busy since.." she mutters that Luna sighed.

"Yeah, we have but it's fine. I already got the others doing what they can right now. Though, I Hope in the future you still are going to help us with trying to find a real head leader one day. All this work can drain someone." Luna said but Oblivion did remember that. Since this place has no warden yet, Luna is filling in till one is found. However, the two keep walking till passing the double doors going down the hallway.

"So......how has she been? Stubborn I take it?" Oblivion said but Luna knew who she was talking about. The prisoner that was brought here but a rather dangerous one at that. As both women walk down the stairs, they show up at a prison area showing just one cell with the others either empty or clean.

Their was a sign next to the prison cell.

Danger level: Very dangerous/violent/don't approach

Nick name: Nightshade

Ability: Toxic flames

Reason for being in prison: Quirk was dangerous and had to be put under control

Answer: Will be given a shot every two hours a day to keep her quirk at bay and stable.

Other note: Only officers with permission from Officer Koboyashi is allowed to be near or around the prison.

Both the woman looks to see another woman inside but she was curled up looking at the window with her back facing the door. Of course Oblivion looks to see her. This woman was indeed named Yuuka Nakano. Her story goes as she was someone that used to be a good hearted person willing to help who needed it.

However, it seems the people she helped only used her causing her to hate the feeling. It also leads up to her being a vigilante at the end. Their has been reports of her destroying property, being a threat to many with her quirk and even getting into fights. Right now, she was in some program in order to change her heart but she's under the eye of officer Oblivion.

"......."

"Do you want me to get you anything before you.." Luna asked but Oblivion shook her head.

"No, I think I got it. Thanks Luna." she said seeing her nod to turn away.

"If you need something just give a call on the radio." she said before heading back to leave Oblivion and Yuuka alone.

"Hey, you awake in there?" she asked but Yuuka did shift to hear the voice but didn't look at her just facing the window. Oblivion sighed to look at her. "I know you can hear me in there.

"....."

"Yuuka-"

"Yeah, I can hear you. What? You wish for a prize?" she said finally in a cold tone but Oblivion sees her turn to look at her. She was wearing the prisoner jumpsuit but she was only looking to her with a cold expression while Oblivion sighed.

"I know but it wouldn't hurt to say something at times..." she said.

"......"

"Look, I know I seem to not know much but I'm still willing to at least keep a eye on you so your not poisoning anyone else." she said that Yuuka sighed.

"As the many others that see that. My quirk is not that dangerous..it's just others think it is without knowing much about it. But lets not have another fight again because of this." Oblivion looks to her but she only looks away from Oblivion again right at the wall.

"Even when you poisoned so many by mistake?"

"..So what if I did? Second, why are you asking? Isn't your quirk dangerous too?" Yuuka asked but Oblivion looks to hear the question.

"I bet your quirk is just as deadly as others and yet your working for the police. I mean, you have a quirk too and it's just as dangerous. Why bother even helping the damn police if they might stab you in the back?" she warns and yet she said nothing. Most of her friends were officers or wardens but even with Yuuka being like this, she somehow felt the same. She sees someone misunderstood and put in prison for the wrong reasons.

"Because not all of them are bad as you claim them to be."

"And your blind to not see it." she said back.

"......I'm not blind."

"You are if your still helping those low life police.." she said.

"Yuuka, I'm not trying to be." she said but Yuuka only looks away from her.

"Oh stop already okay? I mean, your just too soft given the fact they are just doing this to get everyone to be good." she said but Oblivion blinks.

"What do you mean?"

"Think about it. They got these prisons all over and bad fuckers still get out. What's the point of having these buildings when it don't go any good. And another thing, why are you even bothering. You are just as dangerous as a few others and here you are helping these pigs for it. Why are you worried they might end up doing something to you-"

"No. I did this for my reason but...I have another reason and telling you might not convince you." she said.

"At least your smart about that." Yuu said. "You know I feel bad for you given that you and your friends are following the police. Sooner or later it's all going to back fire on you and them. As how the people out there claim to be sweet people when their nothing but backstabbers." she hissed now showing her hand with some toxic goo forming.

"Not everyone is bad Yuuka and I told you that. If you just listen and hear me out-"

"I told you nothing you tell me will get me to believe you. No matter what some officer says to me, it's all the same!" she shouted at her and yet Oblivion remains quiet. "Your all the fucking same.....traitors that don't give a shit. So...yeah, some convincing."

"And your stubborn. I'm just wishing to help you on a better path."

"Uh huh, that's what they all say."

"Yuuka-"

"Look, if your done talking with me. Is their something else you wanna say to me or just leave?" she said not looking at her again. Even if she was hugging herself, Oblivion sighed to look at her.

"No, not at the moment. I'll let you rest up but I'll come to check on you later this evening. Is that fine?" she asked.

"Sure, whatever..if your done talking to me, just go away." she said now curled up and yet, she was just silent now. Seeing she won't speak another word, Oblivion turns to leave the cell room but as the door closes, Yuu just curls up now but she looks ahead.

"Their all traitors...all traitors. I'll be sure to get them back for this." she grumbled now alone.

Meanwhile, Luna was waiting for Oblivion to come back as she saw the door open showing her. "Well?"

"No, still stubborn and very angry. She seems to have done this a lot I take it?" she asked seeing Luna nod while they walked.

"Yeah. She believes that's all were good for. Liars and people wanting to ruin another life. Right now, her quirk is yes deadly due to the toxins but I'm sure like you said you can help her out. Or at least show not all of us are bad." she said.

"I know and yeah, I'm working on it. Yuuka has been hurt and forgotten after that. I wanna be sure to help her to my best ability before she sees nothing else but a future for her. Right now..it's not there yet. I'll have to work with her more." Oblivion said to walk by Luna. The other woman said nothing but sighed following.

"I know you will Oblivion..I just hope you can before it's too late." she said but Oblivion made it her mission, help Yuuka before she's lost forever. For now, the two heads to the other room but it seems it's a start for them.
