Mab's Drawlloween Club Day 27: I had gone through the rest of my lists and hadn't found a subject I wanted to do, so I landed on the prompt mythological, and rather than Western mythology, I went with the Eastern mythology. It's been a while since I've drawn a Chinese dragon, which are known to be deities of water and air. I used some classic elements of their depiction, but also went with a few of my own. It just fits in the space of the page. Pentel brushpen, Windsor & Newton fine-line marker, and Prismacolor fine-line marker on Canson mixed media.

Drawlloween 2024 Day 2: Frankenstein

I had so much fun working on this one. I really enjoyed Lisa Frankenstein and I knew that I wanted to make fanart of it somehow, but didn't know how to compose it. It wasn't until I fell down a rabbit hole of gothic romance novels of the sixties and seventies that I felt inspired. Lisa Frankenstein is, after all, a gothic romantic comedy.

Mab’s Drawlloween Club, Day 2: Frankenstein

This illustration is of the Lisa Frankenstein movie, which you should definitely all watch if you’re looking for fun spooky vibes.

Prompt 8 is "Grimm" and the Cult of the Lamb obsession isn't ending anytime soon so Red Riding...Cape.

With the "Red being cut from the wolf's belly" scene but with the Lamb doesn't need a woodsman's help tearing up The One Who Waits and usurping the Red Crown.

Does the black ichor look less gory than normal red blood? And do you like it with or without the red accents?
