For the holidays, Trey and Lydia bake gingerbread men together, decorating them to look like their friends (and each other ♡). With the gingerbread men they also bake sugar cookies, decorating them with different frostings and designs. The cookies will be given as gifts, boxing and wrapping them to suit each person. Once Christmas gets closer, they begin passing them out, surprising their friends with a visit ♡

For Yuusha (@crystallizsch), her cookies are wrapped in a purple box, with music notes decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of herself and Jamil, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a violin, a snake (that resembles Jamil), a silhouette of a couple dancing, Kalim, and a... eel? (and why does it resemble Jade...)

For Yuuna (@crystallizsch), their cookies are wrapped in a light and dark pink striped box, with bows decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of themselves, Riddle, Ace, and Deuce, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a can of tuna, a ghost, and Ramshackle Dorm.

For Daisy (@midnightmah07), her cookies are wrapped in a light blue box, with sparkly white tulle decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of herself and Ruggie, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a pumpkin, a hyena (that resembles Ruggie), a glass slipper, a mouse, and a castle (with a shooting star next to it)

For Oz (@viperbunnies), their cookies are wrapped in a dark blue box, with white pompoms decorating each side (to resemble bunny tails ♡). Inside the box was a gingerbread version of himself, Yuudai, and Jamil, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a bunny, a snake (that resembles Jamil), stargazy pie, mushrooms (that resemble Oz, Yuusha, and a few others), and... Silver?!

For Kiyuu (@skriblee-ksk), her cookies are wrapped in a purple and white striped box, with stickers decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of herself, Jack, and Ryoko, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a wolf (that resembles Jack), a creampuff, a ribbon (that resembles the one Kiyuu wears), a can of tuna, and Ramshackle dorm.

For Yuya (@cheerleaderman), their cookies are wrapped in a black box, with yellow shooting stars decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of themselves, Yolonda, Ortho, and Idia, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a cat (that resembles Idia), a camera, a phone (that has the home screen of a rhythm game on it), a star, and crochet needles.

For Astrid (@cheerleaderman), his cookies are wrapped in a green box, with red roses decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of himself and Jamil, along with a sugar cookie Jamil dressed as a princess. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a rose, a snake (that resembles Jamil), a book (that looked like a fairy tale), and... a sword? (and why it does resemble the one Silver has...)

For Mayu (@anbaisai), her cookies are wrapped in a white box, with different colored pieces of origami paper decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of herself and Jamil, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a snake (that resembles Jamil), a onigiri, a plate of curry, a fox (that resembles Jamil), and a can of tuna.

For Lysander (@offorestsongs), his cookies are wrapped in a brown box, with wild flowers decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of himself, Józefina, Silver, and Rook, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a hare, a bird of prey (that resembles Rook), a needle and thread, flowers, and a frying pan.

For Rebecca (@0honeybones0), her cookies are wrapped in a light pink box, with white ruffles decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of herself and Jamil, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a snake (that resembles Jamil), a can of tuna, a ghost, a chibi Rebecca flexing, and Ramshackle Dorm.

For Shuu (@oya-oya-okay), her cookies are wrapped in a orange box, with different colored candy wrappers decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of herself, Hagi, Jade, and Azul, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a octopus (that resembles Azul), a squirrel, a purple and orange heart, two eels (that resemble Jade and Floyd), and... a rose? (and why does it resemble Riddle...)

For Fayrouz (@fell-e), her cookies are wrapped in a sky blue box, with lilies decorating each side. Inside the box was a gingerbread version of herself, Jamil, and Kalim, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a snake (that resembles Jamil), a basketball, a can of tuna, a plate of shawarma, and Ramshackle Dorm.

For Poppy (@justm3di0cr3), her cookies are wrapped in a brown box, with red and white checkered fabric decorating each side (to make it resemble a picnic basket). Inside the box was a gingerbead version of herself and Epel, along with a sugar cookie Isabelle (@midnightmah07's OC). Other sugar cookies in the box include: a apple, a picnic basket, a apple tree, a stuffed animal, and a rose.

Each box comes with a Christmas card and some hot chocolate, along with a picture Cater took while Trey and Lydia were unaware. The picture was of the two of them in the kitchen, powdered sugar covering their faces and clothes. They were mid-laugh, their faces inches apart. In the background was a counter holding various ingredients and cookie cutters, a mixing bowl filled with cookie dough off to the side. Happy Holidays! was written in the corner of the picture, Trey and Lydia signing their names on the back of it.

While most of the cookies were gifted to friends, they made more than enough for everyone, offering the extras to anyone who wanted some.

Of the gingerbread men, there was Ace, Deuce (with a cauldron sugar cookie), Cater (with a phone sugar cookie), Trey (who Lydia gave a toothbrush sugar cookie to as a joke), Riddle (with a hedgehog sugar cookie), Leona, Ruggie (with a thaumark sugar cookie), Jack, Azul (with a contract sugar cookie), Floyd, Jade (with a mushroom sugar cookie), Kalim (with a magic carpet sugar cookie), Jamil, Vil, Rook (with a bow and arrow sugar cookie), Epel (with a apple sugar cookie), Idia (with a sugar cookie of his tablet), Ortho, Malleus, Lilia (with a bat sugar cookie), Silver (with a sword sugar cookie), and Sebek (with a lightning bolt sugar cookie).

There were even gingerbread men of those that didn't attend Night Raven, such a Che'nya, Neige, Najma, Rollo, and Ernesto (with a sugar cookie Gino).

The extra cookies can be found at Heartslabyul (with Trey) or the Mostro Lounge (with Lydia), so feel free to ask them for one the next time you see them ♡

What do you think BJ will do after marriage??? Do you believe he can be with Lydia without cheating on her with another woman?

I believe that he might peek at other women, especially when Lydia isn't around lol, but I do not think he would act on it.

We're talking about a man who longed for the same woman for over 30 years. Sure, he might have eyeballed a few women along the way (heck, he checked out Delia 💀), but I highly doubt, given the opportunity, that he would cheat on Lydia once they are finally married.

Betelgeuse's undying love for Lydia aside, there is also a marriage contract. Let's look at the alive person x dead person marriage contract, which would allow him freedom in the world of the living. As far as I saw, one of the terms of the contract is that not even death can separate them, and it also says that the marriage is for eternity. He wouldn't go and break an actual eternal bond of love and companionship as that for a nice pair of boobies or something. We would have to see if infidelity on his part could nullify the contract as well, since agreeing to being bonded through eternity should mean they agree to being entirely exclusive to each other. He wouldn't forfeit his much desired freedom in the living world for something so trivial, and especially not when he's finally bonded to Lydia, whom he really does seem to be completely in love with.

That said, the man has been a sleazy ass demon for over 600 years, and he isn't blind. He likes women (though women don't seem to like him at all lol), so he's sure to take a peek or two. Hopefully he would make an effort to stop checking out other women once he's finally married to the one lady he referred to as the love of his life, but I think he'd still let his eyes wander every once in a while, even if he wouldn't pursue other women and actively cheat. I'm sure Lydia would peek at other men as well; she's only human, after all, and therefore not perfect either.

If they marry in the afterlife (when Lydia has passed away), though, we're talking about eternally devoting themselves to each other. That's the end of the line right there; once the choice is made to be together through eternity it wouldn't only be dumb but also irrational to cheat. I don't think Betel would do more than peek at other ghost ladies, assuming Betelgeuse and Lydia don't just end up taking the soul train together and going off to the great beyond in the end, to have their eternal peace (which for me would be lovely and their perfect ending). I think once Betelgeuse marries Lydia his soul will be freed and he will no longer be a demon, and he will be able to move on to the great beyond next to her. I'm sure once they get to that place there will be no one else to even look at than each other. We're talking about a vow to spend eternity together; neither of them would break that, not even someone like Betelgeuse.

more!! again!! for the nico after blood of olympus fic!! actually I thought of this while writing the last one but I just finished it.

His elbows buckle and he lets himself fall into Will, snorting at his theatrical groan under the weight. They lay there for a second until Will shoves him gently, and Nico lets him manoeuvre them into a more comfortable position.

"Hi," he whispers, moving a curl away from his cheek. The greenish tint of the loft window casts a weird shadow over Will's face.

"Hey yourself," Will murmurs back, winking.

Nico rolls his eyes. "You look like Apollo when you do that. Please stop." Will squawks in protest.

"I do not! Also, since when do you remember what Apollo looks like? Actually, no, don't answer that, you can't bring up my dad while we're in bed, Nico, why would you do this to me?"

Now it's Nico's turn to sputter and whack Will in the chest - getting another dramatic oof and a laugh in return - before turning around to face Hazel's bed. He's not sure when he'll ever be able to sleep facing the wall. Will can't do it either.

As Will's arms curl around his waist and draw him back against him, just like they did back in the infirmary that one day, he thinks maybe he'd be okay trying that with him sometime. One day, in a house with gates, no longer wary of monsters.

Will noses the back of his neck, causing him to twitch. "What is it?"

Will's answering smile presses through the rough cotton of his t-shirt. "Nothing, sunshine."

Nico frowns under the covers. "Hey, what do you think of houses with gates?" He whispers.

"Gates? Well, it'd be safer, I guess, but we'd lose the neighbours coming over -"

"As if you want to see random people at the door anyway. What if they're monsters?"

"Oh, come on, darlin', I'm from Austin. Of course I gotta keep space for the neighbours to come knocking."

"…Fences? Actually, hey, why'd you assume I was talking about us? Obviously - Obviously I was talking about random. Random houses. For architecture reasons."

Will muffles his laugh into the back of his neck, again. "Oh, my bad. And I'm only here because you ripped a stitch on the lava wall yesterday."

Nico feels his ears warm.

"Shut up."

"I didn't say anything."

"..Still."

Will reels him in closer until his back hits his chest and he can press a soft peck to Nico's still-red ears. "I think a fence is a great idea, by the way. We could ask Hazel for help with some ward stones too, like you have in the cabin. Gotta make sure we've got at least one window and standing space in every direction, though, or at least in the east, because you know my dad would sulk if he didn't get to scream me awake in the morning."

Nico's blush gets worse.

"Now who's talking about your dad in bed?" He gives up on pretending. Will sees him through every time, anyway. "Also, shrines, obviously, and we need a spot to stargaze."

"Yeah, shrines, obviously. Maybe just yours, mine, and Lady Hestia's though, or else everyone else is gonna get pissy."

Nico barks out a laugh like it's shocked out of him. "Pissy? Don't let them hear you say that."

Will holds him tighter and settles against the pillows. "Sure thing, sunshine. Now can we sleep?"

"Yeah, yeah."

It's not long after that that Will's breath evens out behind him, his muscles untensing. Nico knows he's got a few minutes yet, so he thinks.

Today was…. good.

Today was nice. Normal, even. Just a day of camp schedules, working in the infirmary, an admittedly short campfire, and this. No monsters, and no mistakes. No deaths, but..

Unbidden, the moments in the infirmary come to mind. He thinks of helping Will scrub in for his one surgery of the day, a kid that had gotten parts of an arrow stuck in their leg a week ago and hadn't noticed til yesterday. He thinks of yesterday during capture-the-flag, stepping in and desperately trying to copy what he'd watched Will do, because Lydia was hanging crooked from a tree and there was no one else around but him-

He thinks of Patroclus tying the straps of Achilles' armour, watching his lover sleep peacefully. He thinks of what Connor had told him about at the campfire weeks ago, of Silena Beauregard taking on a drakon when Clarisse declared the Ares Cabin wouldn't be fighting.

He thinks he might understand.

Lydia wasn't the same (thank the gods), but if there was something to be done that only Will could do right, yet couldn't, and the only way Nico could take up his mantle would be to die trying - then, yeah. He'd do whatever it would take for these kids. To do what Will would do. He's gone to Tartarus already, hasn't he? At worst, he'd try his best and greet his father early if he failed to survive. Nico could even give Charon a tip on the way in for the hell of it, why not?

If there is a luxury that comes from being a child of Hades, after all, it is that dying is not the thing that scares him.

There's a brazier still lit outside the window. Its glow falls in slits across their bed.

Will grumbles, pushing his feet forward until their ankles are wound together. The sheets shift.

Nico smiles into the dark, into the chirping of crickets and the soft glow of the fireflies out the window, and falls asleep.

A knock could be heard on the door of Ramshackle, the prefect opening it to find two people on their doorstep.

Lydia, dressed in white and gold with white wings on her back and a halo on her head, and Ryuumi, dressed in red and black with black wings on his back and devil horn's on his head.

While Lydia looked soft in her lolita style outfit, Ryuumi looked dangerous in his punk style outfit, contrasting in a way that made their costumes compliment each other.

"Happy Halloween!" Lydia shouts, taking a bag of candy out of the bag she brought. Before she could hand it over, Ryuumi stops her, shaking his head.

"Not so fast, Lyds... We don't know if they deserve a treat... or a trick yet." He says, eyeing the prefect with a grin. He takes a bag of candy out of his own bag, holding it out next to Lydia's.

"So, what'll it be? Lydia's bag of candy... or mine?"

The bag Lydia held was pink with ghosts decorating it, while the bag Ryuumi held was green with black skulls on it.

So, which will you choose? Will you get a trick... or a treat?

[OOC: Ryuumi knew that people would be more trusting of Lydia than himself, and would likely pick her bag of candy. So he had the brilliant idea of them filling each other's bags, meaning that Lydia's bag of candy has the tricks (extreme sour candy, spicy candy, gross flavored jelly beans, etc) while Ryuumi's has the treats (homemade chocolates, sweet gummies, lollipops, etc)]

Luckily for her, she'll enjoy the sour candies just as much as the sweet ones! The gross flavoured jelly beans however...
