I was waiting for this one, turn it up. poc who try to cross polish border because they work/study in ukraine can do it without any problem, just like thousands of Ukrainian women and children. nobody is pushing them back to stay in Ukraine. so far there were incidents on the Ukrainian side of the border because they weren't letting those people in even though they were standing there and waiting in the cold for two days straight and instead guards were telling them to go to the end of the line.

but if you're referring to what has been happening on Belarus' borders for months, then no, I'm not proud of that, I never said I was lol. these people are innocent victims of lukaszenko's regime. he is using them because he thinks he can somehow destabilise our country this way since there's a huge islamophobia already in slavic countries. the polish government won't let them in because they think these people are dangerous, which is completely untrue. how can someone who spent weeks hiding in the forest, in the cold, without meds and proper food want to attack our soldiers? but they won't admit that aloud. if I was responsible for that, I'd let those people in, check their documents and make them file papers for asylums. eu didn't help solve this crisis too. sanctions did not stop belarus.

the situation with Ukraine looks different because it's all happening so close to us. thousands of people are fleeing from literal war. because Ukraine is not part of neither EU nor NATO, they feel like have no one to ask for help. so yes, allow me to be proud of not my country, not government but civilians who help refugees. no one was willing to help us in 1939 when we were attacked, that's why we help Ukraine now, because we know what does war mean.
