Boo Woods' Location

So many people question where exactly is Boo Woods and Luigi's Mansion located at. People often look to the trees, dark cloud skies, and overall feel and assume it's located in the Koopa Kingdom/Bowser Badlands. But they overlook a key detail.

As established in a previous post, this Mansion from Luigi's Mansion was a created by the Boos, and after they were gone so too was the Mansion. Something to note is that upon the Boos being dealt with, Boo Woods' appearance changed with the dead trees disappearing and the skies clearing up.

When we see Luigi's new mansion in Luigi's Mansion 2 Dark Moon, it has a normal night sky with living trees and grassy surroundings. By extension if my fourth hypothesis about Luigi's new mansion is correct, then the one from Luigi's Circuit can also be used. We see in this one there are red mushrooms growing everywhere alongside living trees, and lots of grass. We also see a river, keep that in mind. Meanwhile places like the Koopa Kingdom rarely has grassy fields, living trees, clear skies, and the few mushrooms it has usually are not red.

So where exactly is Boos Woods, or was Boo Woods? I believe it's in the Mushroom Kingdom, particularly somewhere in the Grasslands. We know Luigi walks there using a map, which would imply he probably walked there from home rather than traveled. We also see the surrounding areas have clear skies and a grassy surrounding. And like I said if my hypothesis is correct then the addition of the whole place being grassy, with hills, trees, and red mushrooms growing everywhere. Then this more than likely takes place in the Grasslands. As what's noteworthy is both the map and Luigi's Circuit have a river present.

Luaisy's great, why does Nintendo do nothing with it?

I was thinking about Daisy's trophy celebration cutscene in Mario Power Tennis after watching a video about Luaisy, and you know what?

I'm gonna go over it bit by bit to show how one singular scene actually ends up saying ALOT about them and how they interact (which is good because it's pretty much the only cutscene they get in...anything 😭):

OK so Luigi specifically being the one to hand out her trophy isn't a big deal, he hands multiple characters their trophies, even characters he isn't particularly close to like Shy Guy and Wiggler. Still, in this case, instead of giving a formal "Congratulations" like he does with most of the other characters he gives trophies to, he excitedly goes "Oh Yeah!"

I'm actually not sure if he's trying to hype up the crowd (since he does turn towards the crowd as he says it, which is why he doesn't see Daisy coming before it's too late), or if he's just especially happy that Daisy won, but either way, I'm sensing favouritism!

But whatever, right? He likes her, we know that. The moment when this scene really starts getting good is when Daisy, wearing roller skates at her own awards ceremony by the way, zips right past him.

Not because she doesn't care about Luigi at all, she says "Hey Sweetie!" earnestly as she zooms past, that's something you only say to someone you care for. What's funny about this to me is that it shows where her priorities lie - she'd rather soak in the glory of her victory and wave at the crowd, even doing a little spin to show off as she stops. Let me be clear, I love this. I love this because it says a lot about Daisy in just a few seconds: she's sporty, she's reckless, she's a bit of a show off, she's more improper than one would typically expect from a princess, and she's prideful, although she does make sure to thank the crowd for their applause.

Luigi, in contrast to Daisy's show of energy and athleticism, is shown to be unalert and clumsy, as he doesn't move out of the way quickly enough and is left spinning. Something something opposites attract.

Daisy then says "I'll take that." in a rather brash way, before going back for the trophy. Then she either tries to grab the trophy but misses, or intentionally spins Luigi around this time just to provide an opportunity to show off, I'm honestly not too sure.

I like both possibilities, as they show either:

A) Unlike Luigi in...pretty much any game during the GameCube era up until (and after) that point (he can even be heard going "Oh nooooo..." in this very scene once the trophy slips from his grasp), she's not one to immediately panic or get worried when something goes wrong, suggesting she's more easy-going. She's also shown to be a lot more alert as she immediately circles back round, eyes only on the trophy, and expertly manages to catch it. This is also another good show of her athleticism.

B) Just how eager she is to show off, as she doesn't mind messing with her partner (in a way that not malicious of course) just to provide an opportunity to do a sick trick in front of an audience. She's very much not the nurturing type (good for her).

Either way, the cutscene ends with her catching her trophy and blowing a kiss to the audience. Luigi isn't even annoyed as he's once again left spinning, all he has to say is: "Nice catch" before collapsing on the stage. That guy is his girlfriend's Number 1 fan.

And that's Luaisy! An athletic, reckless, cocky, not-so-typical princess dating a very supportive, but nervous and clumsy boyfailure...

It's too bad everything they get afterwards can pretty much be summed up as: "They sure are standing next to each other."

Mario knew it would happen. In what world did Daisy think she could drive around Luigi's circuit while standing on her motorcycle? And with her dress? He swore if she weren't as beautiful as she was, he would've been facepalming a lot harder.

Daisy knew exactly what was coming. Mario had been racing on the track with her when the accident happened. He was going to come over and go on and on about telling her so, that she was careless to have steered the motorcycle to the dash panels. She didn't even remember what she was trying to prove. She just knew she had to get up quickly and walk off her injuries before she wouldn't hear the end of it from Mario. But it was too late; she could already hear his distinct footsteps rushing in the grass.

"Daisy-"

"I'm fine. I just..." Daisy grabbed onto the nearby fence, squeezing her eyes shut at the surprisingly great effort it took to stand up. Why does it hurt so much? Where's my crown? Is Mario gone? Please go away, Mario.

Daisy heard a dreaded crack coming from her leg. Shit-

Daisy's knees buckled, and she collapsed onto the ground once again. She didn't even want to see the damage waiting for her underneath her skirts. She grumbled more expletives, sitting back up to go for attempt number two. But before she could do so, she felt one arm around her waist, and another go under her legs, easily lifting her up from the ground. She looked up to come face-to-face with Mario, a little too close. But she supposed Mario didn't feel the same, because he just smiled gently at her.

"You can ask for help, you know. I'm not in your life just for decoration."

Daisy blinked a few times before hesitantly bringing her arms around Mario's shoulders. She strangely found it hard to tear her eyes away from those royal blue eyes. "Eh heh... right."

Mario's smile grew. He adjusted Daisy in his arms, pulling her closer. "Come on. I'm taking you to your castle to get ya fixed up."

"On foot?" Daisy's eyes widened. "Sarasaland is practically lightyears away from here!"

"Won't be a problem. I've walked further." Boy have I walked further. "Besides, you're lighter than a feather."

Daisy gawked. "I am not! I am perfectly in the range of weight for women my age." She huffed, crossing her arms. "You're just strong as hell for no reason."

"D'aww, you think I'm strong?" Mario cooed, getting close to Daisy's face to tease her. "Am I your big, strong, dashing cavalier?"

Daisy's face became a brighter red at the closer proximity of their faces. She hissed and turned her head, pretending to frantically claw at his face to back him up. "Never in a billion years! Caviar is disgusting! Sushi is way better."

Mario stifled a laugh, forgetting she didn't know the meaning of the word. He noticed that she didn't exactly deny what he said before that, but he'd keep that to himself for now; he had a hurt princess in his arms. "Okay then, Princess. I'll be your big and strong sushi. And by the way, I'm taking you on my kart, not walking. Seems all logic escaped that pretty little head of yours when you took that hit."

Pretty? Daisy shook her head, willing her face to not be as red as Mario's cap. "Whatever. Just take me back to my castle."

Mario gave Daisy an expectant look with a raised eyebrow.

"....pleeeeeeaaaaseeeeeeeee?"

He smiled, and pulled Daisy close to his chest once again and walking to his kart. Ti ho presa, bellezza.

Bowser Jr's Origin Hypothesis And Stork Haven

In Yoshi's New Island it is established that babies excluding Yoshies, and Piranha Plants are delivered from a land that storks pick them up from. It's also established that parents have to want children in order for them to be made, and eventually delivered by the storks.

So some form of magic is at play, and since it's everyone the closest kind that fits the bill is wish magic. This also answers the question that one interviewer had about Toad reproduction, they don't. The only thing that really doesn't come from the storks is Yoshi's and Piranha Plants. I'm mostly thinking of Peewee and Dino Piranha. Bowser is delivered by storks so even Koopas which hatch from eggs are delivered. It's possible they are delivered as eggs.

This also can create an explanation for Bowser Jr. If all Bowser needed was wish magic he wouldn't need a partner. The only problem is that as established in Super Mario RPG, Bowser is essentially blacklisted from having his wishes granted. That being said I'm pretty sure the sneaky King of the Koopas could have found a way around that, he is always messing around with stars. Or alternatively there is another possible way.

In Paper Mario 64 Bowser gets a hold of the Star Rod which gave Paper Bowser access to such magic. So it is possible that when he had the Star Rod he wished for a son who would eventually be delivered even after he lost the Star Rod.

I wanted to celebrate the Nintendo Direct a little bit with the announcement of a new Mario & Luigi, and I also found it funny how the comic had a ponified version of the two brothers.

You fool. You absolute buffoon. I have seen your type before. Singling me out to try and get free VR. But you. You may not have underestimated me, but you did overestimate yourself. I was to tortoise, and you were the hare. THAT is why you lost to me. You weren't even able to create a big enough gap between you and the finish line to enact your "oh-so-clever" plan. While your ilk were able to pull that same trick on me before, you had to be too confident. Too sure of yourself that it would work. Thanks for the only 1st place I got all night. Your hubris was your downfall.
