(how to do these cups: go to however many players -> VS race -> pick your character + kart -> any cc/ other rules -> 4 races -> pick the following tracks)

asia cup - tokyo blur, bangkok rush, dragon driftway, ninja hideaway

Mario Kart Wii’s Rainbow Road: An Iconic Track Requiring High Skills

Rainbow Road on Mario Kart Wii.

As a gamer who achieved first place in all 32 Mario Kart Wii tracks, Rainbow Road is the hardest course to achieve 1st place. Playing this track on 50cc or 100cc is nowhere near as difficult as driving on 150cc or Mirror Mode (where the track is inverted left-to-right).

While you might enjoy Rainbow Road’s music, you will feel pressured by the following stress factors:

Rainbow Road is the last track of the Special Cup, meaning you will have to play all 4 courses again if you rank poorly.

There are tight turns, little guardrails, and half-pipe jumps that make it easy to fall off the course.

According to a player from TheTopTens,

“Wii Rainbow Road is very fun to play on, and definitely very hard. Add sharp turns to crazy waving roads split paths, speed boosts, risky shortcuts and amazing music and you've got an impossible track.”

Rainbow Road is so difficult that Nintendo added more guardrails when the course was added to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course DLC.

In my opinion, the newer Rainbow Road doesn’t feel the same. Driving on this course feels like bowling with the bumpers on.

Mariokart 8 Deluxe pt 1 - Mario Tracks

I play King Boo. Here is my opinion on the Mario tracks from worst to best.

Mario Circuit 3 SNES: It starts good but gets samey and boring.

Mario Kart Stadium: Very average.

Mario Circuit GBA: Short and sweet. Just slid round the whole course. Not too interesting to look at but good to go round.

Mario Circuit: Much bettter course. Its got good curves and traditional Mario decor.

Mario Circuit DS: This is lovely. Plenty of curves, good background, interactive creatures such as the fire shooting piranha plants and suprise wiggler. Looks pretty, drives lovely.

I played Mario Kart Tour again lately after not playing it for a while it’s so...simple, there is zero depth to the game at all. Every kart plays identically, and characters are only visually different. At least Mario Kart 8 DX had mechanics about items in first place that you can manipulate for better chances, and most of the older games have tech of their own.

Mandatory cabinet man. This is just his song. Every single lyric applies to him 😭 I like imagining “but there’s this tiny little box in Japan” is him finding out about RoadBlasters and “it’s getting lonely, it’s getting hard to breathe” is after he crashes it. Honorable mention I really like this cover by ANRY L STUDIOS whose videos also inspired the end of my own video :)

SPEAKING OF ROAD RAGE LOL. THIS SONG IS SO FUN AND HONESTLY TIES 1ST PLACE WITH CABINET MAN.

Not only is every line extremely reflective of his murderous and competitive tendencies but it ALSO PERFECTLY PARALLELS HIS UNDEAD SYMBOLISM ?? WITH HIM BEING GHOSTLY/DEVILISH AND ALL…. AND EVEN HIS INFAMY/haunted legacy with the line ���there’s something familiar about that car…” dude.

LAPFOX TRAX - The Queenstons - Terrible Ride

ok i was shy to add this one during my original ranking but it really is a top 10 Turbo song to me shhhh.. I love how nasty and dark the synths are and also the lyrics talking about going fast and the Aforementioned Ride (that is Terrible)

GHOST - cut the act (everything ruined in moments)

I Fucking LOVE this song oh my god it’s so glitchy and fucked up and dramatic and the entire title and even the artist being named “GHOST” just screams Turbo dude I can’t. This is his reveal scene song

Pendulum - Granite

I love dark electronic D&B or whatever the fuck this is it sounds so glitchy and evil this is PEAK TURBOCORE IDC

Oh yeah also the spooky ghost sounds at the beginning are a good touch

The “YOU CAN’T SAVE ME” is what really gets me. Turbo was too far gone the moment he felt the spotlight and he lost himself entirely. Fucking tragic and raw song, I cannot get enough of how it channels his anger and his fear of dying hated by everyone.
