anyway the ask was "please talk more about 'their siblings are all the Pevensies have' " so I'll try to reconstruct what I had

Listen if there's anything I like in fiction it's siblings, and relationships that would probably be unhealthily codependant in real life but this is fiction so it's fine (or you push them that little bit farther into unhealthy and then you have a dark/tragic au, which can be fun too). So thinking about the Pevensies makes me go feral a bit.

Narnia, and her thrones, are a gift, and they're a burden.

The Pevensies gave up their home, their friends, their family, their old lives—even the memory of their old lives—to rule Narnia. And their old lives currently included being sent away into the country to shelter from a war, so they would have lost some of that anyway, and I'm certainly not saying finding Narnia was a bad thing. But it came with sacrifices, and out of all the things they lost, they still have each other. In all the magical, beautiful, wonderful, but strange things they have to learn, their siblings are familiar. Faced with sudden, terrifying responsibility, they can still be just kids, just Pete and Su and Ed and Lu, with each other. And then part of that responsibility is Peter and Susan being parents to Edmund and Lucy as well as siblings, and it's strange and it's familiar and everything gets complicated and messy but it all boils down to they love each other so much.

They're the only humans around. They're the only ones confused by the magical, medieval land they're in. Their friends and advisors do what they can, of course, but in the end the weight of running a country all comes down on four tiny pairs of shoulders; they're the only ones who know how that feels. They make friends, and friends that become like family, but in those early days the only people they've known more than a few days are their siblings. And they've known each other forever. They're the ones that know how to make Peter laugh when he works too hard or coax Susan into cruelly needed bravery and she's terrified or see past Edmund's angry outbursts to what's really bothering him or convince Lucy to be more responsible without telling her she's wrong for being young or emotional or wild. They know the in jokes, the favorite colors, the secret petty hates (Lucy doesn't like bugs, if you make Peter wear gray he won't be able to focus all day because all he can think about is how much he hates wearing gray), the little tricks to cheer each other up. They know how to soothe each other out of nightmares and the sort of places they hide when they want to cry.

And they're the only ones who understand how they can have the magical joy that is their new life and still be sad. They're the only ones who remember England, everything and everyone they knew there. Later, when Narnia has soothed their homesickness with cruel mercy, they're the only ones who know what it is to miss what you can no longer remember, who understand the ache that still gets into your gets into your dreams some nights, long after you know the words and the names to explain.

And then they go back.

Once again, they lose home; once again, their siblings are all they keep. Digory went to Narnia, but he knew her for a few days in her infancy. He doesn't know her castles, hasn't learned her dances, hasn't ridden for leagues through her forests or sailed her seas. He doesn't know what it's like to lose years of your life in an instant. He still remembers the names of months and how to use common household items. He wanted to come back, so he could embrace his mother and make her well. The Pevensies were thrown out without warning, and their mother is far away under bomb-filled skies. But they still have each other. Peter still tries to lead, stumbling, scared, and the others try to support him; Edmund struggles; Lucy runs wild; Susan is frightened. It's strange and it's familiar.

They return to Narnia; it's broken, changed, a thousand years too old. Of everyone the Pevensies knew in the Golden Age, their siblings are all they have left. No one else understands how strange it all is, so much the same but so different, how it feels to be a legend.

Alright this got much longer than I planned and there are two diverging rambles from here so. I'm gonna start with my thoughts on the Pevensies' dynamic in my preferred and-then-they-get-to-keep-Narnia-somehow headcanon, and below the read more will be my thoughts about canon.

They're allowed to stay this time, and rule alongside Caspian. All Narnia has assumed, of course, that the kings and queens of old would. Only the Pevensies know the relief the others feel. Only they understand the secret mistrust they feel, too, that Aslan's promise will be a lie. Some Narnians have utter faith in him, and would think such doubt inconceivable (especially from the four he fought alongside, and died for), or even blasphemous. Some would have preferred if Jadis came back, or are wary of authority altogether after so long under the Telmarines, but Aslan is a story to them, not seen for centuries. He was the Pevensies' friend. Their doubt is mingled with the taste of betrayal, and shame for feeling so.

The Pevensies rebuild Narnia once more, not from ice this time but iron chains. The work is familiar and it isn't; Narnia is the same and it isn't. All Narnia cheers when Cair Paravel is rebuilt, but the Pevensies are the only ones left alive who called it home.

If this is an au where the Pevensies simply never go back after PC, then they are once again the only ones who remember England, and the people they left behind. They aren't surprised when someone says "I'm homesick" while standing in their bedroom in Cair Paravel, know who their siblings are talking about when they ask "do you think they're doing okay? we'll be dead before they even know we're missing", understand how they can be living such a joyous life and still carry a little ember of sorrow in them all the time. If this is an au where the Pevensies still travel between the worlds, but with more time spent in Narnia and a guarantee to always return there, then they are the only ones who know how confusing that is, living two lives, and how hard it is, lying to your family about so much that's so important to you.

But their siblings are family too, and always there no matter the world, and as long as they have each other, the Pevensies can survive anything. Susan is famous for her beauty, and they all four laugh the day she gets her first silver hair, the first among any of them.

"The dear little friends are going senile now," Trumpkin mutters, in his grumbly, affectionate way, and Susan just laughs and says,

"Oh, I quite plan to,"

because Peter is giving her hand a squeeze while Edmund and Lucy beam, and she knows they all understand what this means. They are growing and greying and living, here, in Narnia. They have been and they will. They never got old enough to go grey, the first time round. And they will get very grey indeed, and very old, and they will have lots of friends and a large extended family, and lots of people will have lots of pieces of them. But, though those things get fewer, there will still be some things that only their siblings understand best, because they knew each other first.

(Honestly my base headcanon is actually the Pevensies as a set morphing somewhere along the way into the Pevensies + Caspian as a set, but the point is these siblings spend years being the only ones being each other's closest people and it shows.)

Alright now the acknowledging-canon-for-once option!

They leave again. Peter and Susan know it's forever. Edmund and Lucy now know there is a forever away from Narnia, waiting for them someday. They think of the Professor, who still dreams about the world he saw for a few days as a child. How comforting his stories had seemed before! How sad they seem now, a lifetime spent missing what you will never have again! The Pevensies go to stiff, unhappy boarding schools, and are surrounded by people who don't understand everything they have lost, everything they will lose.

Perhaps cruelest of all, they begin then to be ripped away from their one constant: each other. The Pevensies return to the train platform where they were waiting to catch two different trains: one to the boys' school and one to the girls'. Peter and Susan can't talk through their complicated knot of loss and relief and confusion, can't console each other or offer answers to the question of "what now?". Edmund and Lucy can't share their own relief, their anxiety. Lucy can't cheer Peter up or ask him if losing Narnia can really be okay. Susan can't toss away Edmund's fears with calm logic when he's loses his temper at bullies and fears he's slipping back into old ways, or listen to him tell her she's still brave and beautiful and important and safe even though everyone treats her as a child (a girl-child, at that) and the newspapers speak of war.

The ties binding them fray a little more, and a little more, and a little more. The next summer, Peter goes to study with the Professor. Their parents take Susan to America. Edmund and Lucy are sent to their aunt and uncle. They come back with tales of months at sea, of their friends Caspian and Reepicheep and Aslan. They are all Peter and Susan will ever get of Narnia again. Peter and Susan are the only ones who understand the pain Edmund and Lucy are now feeling, knowing they're never going back, the ones who teach them how to breathe through it until breathing no longer hurts.

It's not enough. Fray and fray and fray. Thread by thread. Susan works hard to live in this world Aslan told her to live in. What right has she to do otherwise? The other three cling to a duty handed to them by prophecy when they were children. What right have they to ignore that? They grow up. Three of them go to university or get jobs and probably move out. (Lucy did not. I'm trying to keep this neutral and not rant-about-how-much-I-hate- canon but I won't ignore that Lucy was seventeen when she died.) They drift apart.

Digory forms the "friends of Narnia". Peter, Edmund, and Lucy are united again, bound together by their shared experiences as they have ever been. It's not the same, Susan is not there, but it's enough.

(Extra painful fun fact! When I typed "Peter, " my phone suggested "susan" as the next word! I have typed "Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy" so often even my phone expects them to be a set! This is fine!)

The Last Battle, the train crash. Peter, Edmund, and Lucy die. Susan buries them, and there is no one left to understand all she is mourning. Her last link to a home she cannot bear to acknowledge aloud. The children she played with. The adults she saw them grow into. She knows what Lucy would look like grown, either because she still remembers Narnia and won't admit it or subconsciously somewhere inside her, but Lucy will never be twenty-three this time around.

Peter, Edmund, and Lucy wait in "true" Narnia. Again, they dwell in magical splendour, and ache in their dreams. This time, they remember who they are missing. Still, they are surrounded by joy, and time does not seem very important anymore, so overall they are happy. (It's not the same, Susan is not there, but it's enough.) Susan lives and learns and mourns and makes her peace and comes to Narnia in her own time, the only one of them to grow old and the last to grow ageless. It's easy to forget sorrow, in that place; when Susan embraces her siblings, the only ones who understand how badly she has missed them are them, because they have missed her just the same. But now they are complete again, and that's all that matters.

Just reread the books as an adult and I must say as an adult it’s actually really hard to be nice about Gale. As a kid I was trying to be balanced and nice about the love triangle but as a grown adult woman I’m like “I don’t agree with your politics and also if any guy treated any of my friends the way you treat Katniss, I would stage an intervention”. And also Katniss never smiles around him 😞

I'm also doing a reread right now because I finally got hard copies of the books! It's going very slowly though lol

I really don't remember my exact feelings about Gale when I first read the books (I was in 6th-7th grade), but I don't think I ever liked him. I also remember hating how the movies emphasized the love triangle when reading the books it was obviously always Peeta.

I reread the books last March and as an adult I picked up so much about him. I think when I was young I was mostly anti-Gale because I loved Peeta/Everlark so much, but rereading as an adult I'm really able to specify what I dislike about Gale. He's just so... annoying.

On his politics, I'm actually a teeny bit sympathetic towards Gale because I don't think all the responsibility for Prim's death should be wholly on him. The severing of Katniss/Gale's relationship is so much deeper than him killing her sister. It's a plot point and dialogue that's been misinterpreted because of the movies. I think the way they presented it cheapens the story and it cheapens why Katniss ultimately chose Peeta.

Regardless, I can't help but dislike Gale. It is how he approaches his relationship with Katniss for me, and as you said how he treats Katniss. Whenever he speaks I'm annoyed. What bugs me is the entitlement he feels he has to Katniss. And some things he says give me the ick.

(below is a tangent on the anti-Gale rhetoric. It’s a defense of one moment I think his hate is a bit too unreasonable so read with caution i guess)

I saw someone say on Twitter that Gale should be vilified for saying that killing people isn't much different than killing animals, and I think that person missed the point of that part in the book. And as some who likes literary analysis outside of my personal feelings for characters and ships, I kinda love that Suzanne wrote this. The dialogue:

“Katniss, it’s just hunting. You’re the best hunter I know,” says Gale. “It’s not just hunting. They’re armed. They think,” I say. “So do you. And you’ve had more practice. Real practice,” he says. “You know how to kill.” “Not people,” I say. “How different can it be, really?” says Gale grimly. The awful thing is that if I can forget they’re people, it will be no different at all.

In the movie, the line sounds brutal and violent and I think part of it could be delivery. In the book, to me, Gale doesn’t say that with confidence or with the belief that humans are dispensable, but “grimly.” And in the movie we don’t get Katniss’s inner thought that even though what Gale said was callous it’s valid because this is the world they're living in - a world that is violent and where Capitol citizens don’t see children as anything other then prey. These characters are extremely desensitized to violence and death. In Catching Fire, Peeta and Katniss curl up on the couch with a mug of warm milk to watch Haymitch's games like it’s a movie.

I think there are a lot of moments to dislike or have distaste for Gale, because I have many. But some of his hate goes overboard and people mostly on twitter and tiktok bc they see the movies as canon solely put the blame on an 18 y/o with immense trauma instead of the adult leaders who have never experienced life like him - Coin is from D13, Plutarch and Snow are from the Capitol.

And to call Gale worse than Snow and to excuse a lot of Snow’s actions, even making shit up about Snow like he cared and gave genuine condolences to Katniss about Prim, or say he didn’t murder Lucy Gray as a defense against Billy Taupe like the murder attempt isn’t just as bad, is seriously gross. I’m kinda glad tbosas and hunger games hype has died down on Twitter because the takes were increasingly getting worse and more illogical.

I have always loved ghouls since the first time I played New Vegas, and Cooper is obviously my favorite character in the show, but like.

Just the way fandom has glommed on to him makes me so uncomfortable. Like I don't even dislike the Ghoulcy ship, but so much of what I've seen in fanfics so far reminds me of the old bad days in the Harry Potter fandom where you can't just ship characters, you have to DESTROY the the person being pushed as the canon love interest first.

My takes on this are all based on fanfics because I spent a lot of time reading them since I can't write for beans myself, so it bugs me more when I catch trends:

It's a little funny that this bashing is so blatantly done in a setting specifically centered around there being no such thing as black and white, and you're often presented with choices that simply don't have a "good" ending.

But like, the fandom reactions are tripping over themselves to either amplify and fetishize how evil The Ghoul can be or alternatively softboi Cooper tamed in a week by Lucy. Either way, it's a fuckfest all about them.

But for Max, it's all: "hey this kid who lost everything at a young age and was raised in a cult he believed to be his saviors, only to be abused and berated and shown the ugly realities of life in a short span of time just stood back and let this guy (who was gloating about how he was going to get him tortured and executed for 'incompetence' despite being the one to do all the hard work and save his ass) die instead of helping him, despite the fact in the games we reverse-pickpocket live grenades into NPC's pants for a fraction of the shit-talk and disrespect Max was getting, so he's clearly evil and doesn't deserve anything".

And for Barb I have literally seen like two fics that mention her as something other than a glorified plot point, or an accessory to turn Ghoulcy into a 3-way. And I can kind of understand her not being featured as much in present day fics since we don't have the answers as to where she is or what she did during/after the divorce, but nearly every pre-war fic that does have her in the character tags she's an afterthought being actively cheated on for AU Ghoulcy to happen. If she has any characterization in those fics, it's a one-dimensional corporate bitch who is not a good mother to Janey.

I'm sorry, the woman who was willing to sell her soul to keep her family safe and together doesn't care about her daughter as much as Lucy who just popped in as a babysitter or whatever? The literal Deal With The Devil for her family's survival is suddenly doing it all for herself?

Like, duh, she's wrong. We know the spoilers, and that whatever survival Vault-Tec was offering wasn't worth the blood on her hands for supporting them, but that's the whole fucking point? I've seen "burn the world down and kill everyone in my way for my family" types get venerated before in other fandoms, so it's weird why suddenly Barb is deemed uninteresting here.

And I've seen a lot of defensive posts from people about how it's simply a coincidence the OTP is an old white guy and the young white girl, but like, is it also a coincidence that so many of the shippers have suddenly regressed to character-bashing instead of multi-shipping in this specific scenario? That only the OTP get nuance and character studies, and thoughts behind their actions and motivations?

Mirta Owain: Witch of Illusions, friend of Flora and Bloom, went through the bad experience of being turned into a pumpkin. She first met Flora during the First Dance, and hit it off quite fast as friends. Lucy was her best friend during her entire life, but they’ve grown apart recently and Flora helped her start sorting her thoughts on this. She’s quite shy and withdrawn, but observant, and get her riled up and she will destroy you with words alone. Her Source is Light, mixed with some Darkness and Water to form illusions, mirages and optical effects via manipulating the light, shadows and mist around her. Unlike in canon, she remains a witch after being returned to her full form, and regularly interacts with the Winx on outings and school events. She obtains Glamourix at some point between S2 and S3, via finally confronting what her actual feelings about Mirta are, and Onyrix between S3 and S6, after a particularly harsh nightmare.

Selina Harlock: Witch of Fungi, Selina is one of Bloom’s childhood friends alongside Mitzi, having gone to the same schools their entire lives. She’s as obsessed with magic as Bloom is (though her focus is witches and European folklore contrasting Bloom’s focus on fae and Grecorroman mythos), and so when they were kids most of their hangouts consisted on VICIOUS RESEARCH. She was shocked and angry when Bloom suddenly left for Alfea, and when her visits home became more and more sporadic she didn’t fully understood why she couldn’t come more often. They still talked over the phone and whenever their internets matched, and she has met at least Stella and Musa, but she felt a gap between them forming and she didn’t fully handle it well. Her Source is Poison, mixed with Plant and a bit of Earth to make mushrooms and the like. She gets her Glamourix by confronting Bloom during the White Circle’s attack in S4, of how she felt when Bloom “ditched” them for Alfea, her secrecy, and how that harmed their friendship, while also admiting it was selfish of her to want Bloom to always come to her. She gets her Enchantix at some point later on in the story.

Galatea Wen: Fairy of Vibrations, friend of Musa and Tecna. She is the princess of Melodeus. She’s a very chirpy girl, happy to meet other people and experiences after a lifetime of being inside the palace walls with only her siblings and helpers to talk to. Her Source is Sound, but has dabbled a bit in Metal magic and has managed to make a small flute, which she can mold into different wind instruments whenever she wants. She’s really interested in Musa’s style of music, as she was only allowed to listen to traditional songs for her entire life and strikes a fast friendship with her, as well as with Tecna as her gadgets seem almost unreal to her. She obtains her Glamourix during S5 after a chat with Musa, and obtains Glissandix at a later point in the story.

Krystal Rosales: Fairy of Aromatherapy, childhood friend of Helia and Flora. Flora and Helia knew her as “Rosa”, a fake name she used when she was young whenever she left the castle to interact with her citizens, and struck a fast and nice friendship with the two of them. She’s a very happy and exuberant girl, but she’s rather clumsy and has tripped on air more times that she can count. Her Source is Healing, but she mixes it with some plant magic to heal people via scents, flowers and sap mixtures, being a novice potionologist. She’s had a crush on both Flora and Helia for a long time, but she noticed their feelings for each other way before they did, and tried to nudge them in the right direction any chance she got. She later ends up dating Nex for the remainder of the story. She gets her Glamourix at some point off-screen between S5 and S6, and obtains Arborix at a later point in the story.

Lucy Wisteria: Witch of Insects, Mirta’s best friend and unlikely friend of Stella and Musa. Lucy’s a quiet yet sarcastic girl, and is distrustful of most people aside from Mirta and those Mirta trusts. She was bullied a lot for her appearance (she’s the daughter of a mermaid and a Surar drakian, which made the scale gene go crazy and she ended up almost completely covered in dark scales), and while she got over their issues and likes her appearance very much now, she’s still jaded from the experience and can come off as quite snobby. She’s found out she has a crush on her best friend, and distanced herself a bit to gather her emotions in peace. Her Source is that of animals, focusing on bugs specifically. She obtains her Glamourix at some point between S2 and S3.

Carmilla “Chimera” Mirthos: Fairy of the Lunar Winds, she’s a few years younger than Stella, and she’s a very selfish girl. While Alessandro never spoiled her more than necessary, she always wants to be at the top, and wants to win no matter what - she’s competitive to a toxic degree. She’s usually loyal to her friends, however, and will treat them as hers to protect. She’s in her first year in the Beta Academy for Fairies and Witches. She’s one of the few people to dare to wear dark colors in Solaria all year long, and is somewhat fearfully respected as a result. She and Stella don’t get along and somewhat dislike each other, but they prefer to avoid themselves and if forced to interact, they will be as civil as possible. Her Source is that of Wind mixed with Light and Ice. She obtains her Glamourix in S5 after a talk with Stella.

Miele Robledos: Witch of Soil, she’s 4 years younger than Flora, her Source being earth and ground. She’s a very adventurous yet reckless girl, and while she does have the same formal self-defense training that Flora had, as well as always travelling with Amarok, Flora and her parents still worry a lot over her, Flora specially after almost severely injuring her as kids. She gets Glamourix during the attack on Lynphea College in S6, mostly by dealing with some unresolved feelings about how she’s still treated as frail and weak by Flora despite everything she’s been able to do so far.

THE TIME WAR

The Starship of Theseus - 4.5/5 : What the hell? So that was confusing but in a good way. And that feels exactly like the Time War should be so kudos for that. I'm curious about Sheena-Emma-Louise, I wonder if we'll hear more from her (in an alternate timeline kind of way - i don't know?). I'm just not very convinced by the trolls, I don't understand how/where they exist but they're not really important so that's ok. I don't have an opinion yet on Bliss but she seems to be kind of a badass which you would really need to be in the Time War so good for her.

Echoes of War - 4/5 : god Time Lords don't muck about : I felt really bad for those little monkey guys. My dislike of Ollistra is greater than ever. Dal was interesting, his struggle felt real and the way Bliss has to take charge although she really has no idea what she's doing was also interesting. Also I'm loving Rupa, she's so sweet, but her husband feels very clingy. There were maybe too many characters to keep tracks on but the Time War vibe here is also very well done.

The Conscript - 5/5 : Sass!Eight at his finest, bless him. And now I really want a range at the Academy with the Doctor being an unsufferable trouble maker. I'm having trouble deciding if I like Tamasan or not, Ollistra is definitely on my black list (although I love the way she talks, it's creepy). The two recruits (whose names I've already forgotten) were interesting : both idealistic and eager in very different ways which get them both killed : what is the right thing to do then? I liked that grey area there.

One Life - 2.5/5 : Noooo! I hate when people turn out to be weapons, it's like with River Song. I mean I really liked Quarren and they could have still made him a Time Lord in disguise because I really liked that bit and how it echoes what will happen to the Doctor in the future. But I don't know he could have been a very important general or a scientist or whatever but NOT a weapon that can rewrite history because that's just way too much. So I'm very disappointed. Also I got distracted several times during the episode without it preventing me from understanding what was happening so that's generally not a good sign. And the temporal changed in the Starship of Theseus weren't due to Quarren, it was still the Time War and they still happened, right? I'm a bit confused now

The Lords of Terror - 3/5 : I don't really understand Bliss' reaction - if I'd been her, I would have been PISSED. I mean she's obviously upset but compared to what the Time Lords did to her and her world, it seemed a bit underwhelming. Anyway, this episode had a nice vibe to it and the twist that the villains here are not the Daleks but the Time Lords was well handled. I'm disappointed with the protector : she could have been a great antagonist or an allie when she finds out what the Time Lords plan to do but she's just stupid (I mean sure, the Time Lords are not good guys but thinking that the Daleks could actually help? Really?)

Planet of the Ogrons - 5/5 : Two minutes after she appeared and I was already in love with the Twelve. And I love the way she tells the Doctor off, as well as her previous selves, she's great! Also loved the Ogron!Doctor and all the little references (WHO AM I??? - Fred - "A tear, Bliss?" - "I don't wanna go"), I'm happy he's well and I hope we'll see more of him.

In the Garden of Death - 3/5 : There's something that bothers me with this episode. What were the daleks looking for? I have the impression that either I missed something or there was something missing, I don't know. The amnesia was a good idea, in the Twelve's case at least (it's very old with Eight at this point) and in how her other selves took advantage of it. I'm also quite intrigued with the ending and what is supposed to be inside of her : is it just inherent to this regeneration or was it there all along? And like, you know, what is it?

Jonah - 4.5/5 : I'm not gonna lie there, for a minute, I thought that Eight was amesiac AGAIN and I was about to be pissed. So I quite liked this episode - the submarine atmosphere, the search for a mysterious force, the dalek threat, the Doctor still refusing to be a soldier and refusing to make difficult decisions and the way it echoes with NOTD. I also liked the mystery about the Twelve and I hope we'll get to see her again.

State of Bliss - 5/5 : Bliss sends me huge Clara vibes. But like, if Clara had been written decently. It was nice to get to know more about her and about how she ended up on the Theseus but just like most of Eight's companions, her life and her timeline are completely fucked up. Also she's canonically bi or pan and I think we should be talking more about this : she's the third canonically bi companion with Fitz and Liv, so big kudos for that.

The Famished Lands 4/5 : i'm starting again this range after a long pause and this was a nice episode, not too complicated and which still explores the consequences of the time war. And this is horryfying! But I like that Eight tries to help and I'm liking Bliss more and more. But I really don't like the end and the Time Lords' plans for the Doctor.

Fugitive in Time - 3.5/5 : The Helixara and Shonath's story was interesting (another proof of the Time Lords' assholery) and I liked that she chose not to trust the Daleks despite everything that the Time Lords did to her and it makes Tamasan's treason even harder even if it wasn't surprising in the slightest. Shonath was clever but I could have done with less whining to be honest. And Eight is at his best and it kinda scares me for the next episode

The War Valeyard - 4/5 : Huh what? Sooo I'm not really into the Valeyard but I couldn't help but feel bad for this version (and he's as sassy as Eight, I mean : "Halt! Do not move" "I know what halt means" Ok, yeah I kinda love him now) This episode was a bit hard to follow but I can't wait to get the fourth boxset now.

Palindrome - 4.5/5 : So this was something huge. You have to feel at least some sympathy for alternate!Davros and his wife (while also calling him an idiot). I absolutely LOVE the construction of this episode, the palindrome, I love the tragedy of it, because of course you know this isn't gonna end well, and yeah, this is also slightly terrifying. Only thing that bugged me a bit was the second part felt a bit long sometimes

Dreadshade - 3/5 : That was a bit disappointing. I was looking forward to seeing the Twelve and the General again but it all felt a bit ... underwhelming. Still it was interesting to see the aftermath of the War Valeyard from Gallifrey's point of view

Restoration of the Daleks - 3.5/5 : the Daleks are at war with each other - again, which turns out be to rather good news for the Doctor. On the other hand, the Time Lords are not complete bastards for once (that sounds fake but ok), I mean even Tamasan is nice (and I'm still waiting for Eight to snap at her for what she did to Shonath but whatever). It just all feels a bit anticlimactic somehow. And God we don't need Rasmus hitting on Bliss thank you very much (I really hope she won't do like Leela and choose to stay on Gallifrey after what the Time Lords did to her planet). As for the end reveal ... I thought it was Emma, which would have been super interesting and new, while secretly hoping it would be Lucie (because I'm still not over it, ok?) and dreading it would be River. So I wasn't AT ALL expecting this ("after all he's family" --> I might have screamed internally 'NOOOOOO IT'S ALEEEEEX' at this point). So I suppose we'll have another Time War boxset? Or maybe they'll tie this up in the Susan boxset (which would annoy me to be honest)

Overall opinion : I have to admit I really wasn't on board at first. Maybe because I find the Time War way too complicated (and the ridiculous number of TW ranges with BF is CRAZY people, no way I'm keeping up with all this) but I really warmed up with this range and I'm glad I gave it a shot (several shots actually). I like the atmosphere of it in the first boxset, I like the grey areas : Daleks are pure evil, there's no doubts about that, but the Time Lords are not all good or all bad (which we already knew) and I like how it is addressed here. I've also warmed up a lot to Bliss and her complicated timeline and, yeah, I would definitely listen to more episodes with her.

Personality: They are one of two ways. They are very silent, with a resting bitch face. Only every responding with grunts, nods, shaking their head, shrugging their shoulders, and etc. But never really being mean to anyone just never seems interested, yet still listens intently when somebody is talking. They hide away in their room when they can, and try to avoid the others.. Always sticking to Satan or Luke and holding onto them, when they're out. When talking to most people, they're filled to the brim with either sass, annoyance, anger, or just nothing as though they are a robot.

Or...

they are very talkative and silly. Seeming to just never leave whoever they've taken an interest to alone. After spending a few months in the Devildom, everybody in the house of Lamination, (Minus Belphie and Luci, for reason that will be explained later) the other exchange students, Diavolo, and Barbatos have reached this stage with them. They'll happily tag along with them to do whatever, whether it's boring or not. And are more open with them, not completely hiding themselves. They are seen as innocent by the others, never really talking about or engaging in Asmo's horny inappropriate ways. But their mind is in the gutter. Yet, they are still easily flustered.

No matter what though, there are a few things about them that will never change. They hate bad grades, it makes them feel more insignificant than they already feel. They're adventures, always curious and wanting to explore the Devildom. They never liked themselves, and probably never will. They aren't very verbal about it, but they're always silently disagreeing with any and all praise they get. In fact, they don't share any of their personal problems. Opting to sort it out themselves instead of bugging others. However, if there is one thing that they make known is when they are angry. They won't be obvious about it if it's just something small that's annoying them like they're too loud. But if it's really working them them up, they can get close to Satan level angry... Yikes! And there are a few ways to make this happen, threaten the ones they care about? Prepare for a punch, dead named and misgenderes them?! Oh dear.. prepare for a screaming match..

Favorite Brother: Satan, he was the first one they made a connection with. And as long as they don't accidentally upset him, he's pretty chill. He's well informed and reasonable, but still fun to be around in their eyes.

Least Favorite Brother: Belphie and Lucifer, Lucifer is strict. Too strict, while others still tried to get them to speak. He was probably the most forceful, while he doesn't do it often since he doesn't engage in conversation the most. When it comes to conversation with Diavolo, he only accepts real words not grunts and body motions. Yelling at them to speak and be "more proper for their lord". Then setting unreasonably high expected for them, reminds him of their father who they don't like.

Now, Belphie is somewhat a strange case for Quail. Really, they wouldn't mind him and would probably be great friends with him already... Iiiif it weren't for the fact they hold grudges for a long time! If they see a reasonable reason for why the brothers were demon mode, like Lucifer getting mad about the Grimoire is understandable in their eyes. Getting mad at them for something that happened thousands of years ago, then killing them, and manipulating them... Haha, no. Grudges are being H E L D. Even if it was just once, they don't care. Sorry Belphie, but currently you ain't liked.

Now if unreasonable anger is the reason for Belphie hate, then why isn't Satan also hated? Simple, Quail already likes Satan to much. And unlike in the Canon story line, they immediately accepted Satan's pact but also asked him to atleast calmly say it's for another reason other than to piss off Lucifer. Which he accepted and said it was because he liked them romantically as a friend and has respect for them, which in this timeline/AU whatever you call it is true. So he bursted for a reason that isn't MC refusing his pact.

She meets the gang (in person) after the whole Mint Eye thing is resolved (4 months after, to be exact), and Saeran is tomato head! MC ends up with Yoosung, but she helped Seven look for Saeran. The entire RFA is the same age as they were when MC met them in this, and agree that there will be no more secrets, and the twins’ father is behind bars. This is also based on a thing I’m writing, which I won’t be releasing;; it’ll be too embarrassing >///<;;

> She actually visits the same café the RFA do! But she didn’t meet them the way you’d probably think. Seven’s actually one of three fans in the group (the other two being his brother and Yoosung) and he became friends with her over the net when he had “accidentally” hacked (Saeran knows) into her account and called out a bunch of people who were bothering her professional life (she was mortified when she found that post on her page, along with the apologies in her DMs). After that, she basically scrolled through the internet and relied on her knowledge of coding to try and find information about the person behind the hack. But compared to Seven, her skills her miniscule. 

> Eventually, though, after a few hours of Seven watching her try to make a dent in his firewall, he gives in and messages her phone directly. It startles her, but overtime, they developed into a friendship from there on out.

> Though, they both don’t know what the other looks like (Saeran was pissed when he found out and basically fights against his brother when he tries to hack into her camera to sneak a glance, even when he thinks Saeran isn’t looking. His reason; “You promised not the hack into anything, and you already have, so at least respect the privacy she asks for on her blog”)

> Eventually gives up, but he’s bummed.

> They find out about their identities one day at the café, after being friends for 7 months now. At this point, the two were close knit. 

> Basically, the two were at the café (Seven with the RFA while she’s by herself, the usual) and he had just sent her a joke. She ends up giggling, catching his attention. 

> Brushes it off, so the convo continues. 

> But then, she gets dizzy from her lack of sleep. She was used to her dizzy spells, so she shrugged it off and tried to type out her next message, but she ends up fainting, causing a commotion. 

> It alarms everyone, especially Seven. The RFA members sort of gravitated towards the limp body while the staff at the café try to sort out the situation. Seven sort of shrugs it off, but then realises that his chat buddy had yet to respond, which was strange. She didn’t mention any task that had come to her attention, something she’d usually do, so it concerned him, 

> He reassures himself, however, saying that she probably was busy. 

> That was until he notices that she hasn’t responded for 2 days now.

> He than hacks to figure out her location and his stomach sinks. He basically runs out of the house and straight to the hospital, to find out where his friend was. 

> It was tricky, trying to get into the room, but he manages to get in, revealing a truth he had already been suspecting.

> The girl was the one he had seen in the cafe! 

> Said girl was startled by the appearance of a worried man practically busting the door open, her heartbeat was skyrocketing at his appearance. But those glasses caught her off-guard. That couldn’t be…

> Lo and behold, the man introduces himself as God7, her pancake. This causes the girl to laugh, surprised he had actually used that silly nickname that she had only used to address him once. However, she questions how he found out where she was, earning a nervous chuckle.

> She catches the hint, remembering him mentioning that he used to hack as a profession and how they had became friends, so she sighs and just apologises for not being in contact. “I have my phone with me so that I can check the time and message my family, I did want to contact you, but it’s already hard enough to message them.” She explains.

> She’s about to explain more, but Seven interrupts her, pulling her into an unexpected hug. She hugs him back. 

> Not before she says, with a big smirk, “Soo, should I continue to call you God7, oor should I call you Saeyoung?” 

> He laughs, before telling her to call him by his real name. “And what should I call you?”

> She hums. “Lucie-Marezi is a mouthful…” She says. “So, just continue to call me Maple, but you can use my real name.”

> After that, Saeyoung visits everyday until she is dispatched. He’s always messaging her if she’d eaten, when to sleep, how well she slept, etc., not wanting the same thing to happen again. He also uses her real name more frequently than she thought he would, what’s more shocking is that she doesn’t mind it and finds it nice. 

> And when they are under the same cafe roof, Saeyoung wastes no time in introducing her to the rest of his friends, who quickly become friends with Lucie. 

> And a few months after that, they got together and now the RFA deal with two Sevens. 

> During their first months of being together, Lucie is a bit on the flustered side of things whenever they do cutesy things, she still is afterwards too, but she doesn’t snap at him like she did at first. She will not admit it, but she enjoys those quiet moments when they’re doing those things. She does, however, tell Saeyoung of her asexuality, to which he doesn’t mind. He does become cautious over his actions, he’s scared that if he does one wrong thing, he’ll lose one of his most precious friends. 

> Seayoung basically joins her in creating the game, gushing over everything with the same energy as Lucie.

Oh yeah, like, as long as I’m not claiming the fic is mine, pretty much anything works for rec lists. ;)

As far as OT3 goes, this here is my own fic. (Well, one of them, but that’s my main and basically first baby. For SW I also really like JediDarkPilot… which is now apparently known as Preylo which I find hilarious but great. I wrote a oneshot for that called Iris and I think at that time it was only the second or third fic of the ship. That’s why I’m referencing archaic ship names — I’m starting to make myself feel old, heh.)

Despite the dates listed I actually started posting Codega before BP (I remember the date vividly: January 26, 2016! Man!) — got hacked, it was stupid, I kicked his ass to the curb and divorced him, and reposted my stories eventually — but I’m going to start working on finishing Codega now finally! I have so many ideas! I gotta bug @perrydowning about then sometime soon before I burst from excitement or keel over from bouncy exhaustion. All this honestly fills me to the brim with tears of happiness and more emotions than I can name. It was a… complicated situation. That fic meant/means so much to me, and it’s taken me 4 damn years to get over the pain of losing my mental and emotional progress and safety net. But I’m ready now. I think. It’ll be hard, but surprisingly enough I have a fair few reylos who still support me writing and finishing that fic after all this time. We get so much shit as a community, but there are some truly amazing and supportive people out there. ily all. 💜❤️💙

Anyway. I could bitch forever about that but that’s more a private thing (or more like people are probably tired of me mentioning it). At least this is my own post I’m hijacking ahahaha.

But lol, I was more known around Reylo circles for this fic and Reylux in general than I was for any of my Reylo fics. 😂 Probably annoyed a fair few people over it too (but they mostly forgave me because I gave them princess Rey and reylo babies lol). But hey, post-TFA without the other movies or books or tie-ins forcing you into a small canon box…? Anything was possible! It was a magical time!

Think shipping heroine/villain gets you hate? Try two villains! Whoops. Ahahaha. Breaking Point, Codega, and LucidLucy’s Dance of Titans were the main longfics for that ship, and I love them all. Yes, even my own, but both Alania and Lucy are amazing authors and they finished theirs and found great success outside of the main reylux community, whereas I didn’t finish mine, so I definitely admire that they did so. I will always go back to those fics. :)

It used to be painful to read anything SW, let alone things that reminded me of my own/my favourite, but I’ve come a long way in my healing since. It’s so nice to read these things and just be happy again. (Which is a lot of why I was/am asking for recs in the first place! To get that old feeling back; that specific brand of TFA dopamine and serotonin. Heh. (It worked too. Beyond my wildest dreams, at that.))

But yes, in the end, of course, Reylo are the main characters, and that’s the main ship I gravitate towards when picking a main pair for SW. But being poly, I do so love exploring the moresome side of AO3, and delight in it when I find fandoms with some decent representation. :) The MCU is pretty great for that, but it could also just be sheer numbers, because hoo boy…. 😁 Potterverse too.

Really though, I think multishipping, or at least being accepting of others who do, is a really healthy thing for one’s mind. (Ship wars are exhausting. 😪)

…. You also run out of fics to read a lot slower than monoshippers (or as one of my monoshipping friends calls it: jealous shipping). 😋😉 Don’t blame me! She said it first!

Um. Okay that was really rambling. Covid cabin fever for ya, ladies and gents, both and neither! Some of y’all may know me as Juulna from AO3. Hi!

With the help of my bestie @perrydowning (ily babe) I’ve been trying to get back into the TFA mindset of Reylo. For one, I miss it, and TFA also offers me few memories of things I’d rather forget with the ex. I’m also trying to hype myself up for starting Act II of Codega, which is post-TFA to a fault and it’s been so long that I’ve gotten out of practice!

Perry has already given me a handful of great TFA, Alt-TFA, TFA-divergent, and post-TFA fics (some written after the other movies but ignoring them entirely) but I’m not particular to non-SW universe AUs. Canonverse only please. :)

So I ask you! What are some of the fics you love—big or small, known or not, whatever rating—that brings out the absolute love of The Force Awakens, and the glee you felt upon watching that first forest meeting… out in you?

If you lend me some aid, perhaps I’ll spill and reveal the absolute favourites that have stuck with me through the years. ;)

Basics

Subplot:

Before the fall:  This takes place one year before the Niflheim Attacks. Noctis is preparing for his future as a King. His father and friends are doing all they can to make sure he is prepared. Along with that, an announcement was made that Noctis is to be married with Luna. Though he knows his duties as King, Noctis innocence gets in the way of him fulfilling them

Fall of Lucis: This takes place during the events of FF15. Noctis and his friends are on a quest to make sure peace is brought back to the Kingdom. Though he worries of what is to come, fearful of losing his loved ones, Noctis must stay brave and fight to end the madness that has suddenly overcome the world

The plague begins: This takes place when Noctis is 30 and has just awakened from the crystal. 10 years he was locked inside, absorbing the power needed to defeat the darkness and bring back the light. Now, reunited with his friends, they prepare for the final battle ahead of them, as Noctis internally prepares to face his fate.

Child Noct: This takes place during Noctis childhood. His age ranges from 8-10. Noctis has been through so much at such a young age. Being a part of a tragic accident, an illness has overcome him and he must learn to live his life with it. Noctis is a pretty curious child, but has grown more distant then he used to be.

Highschool/Teen Noct: This takes place during Noctis' teenhood. Doing his best to fit in at school, Noctis struggles a bit living on his own and going to school, but in the end ti all works out for him. He has Ignis to help him out and Prompto to teach him all he needs to know about becoming a man, sometimes that leads to trouble but, a little trouble could be fun

History

Childhood/Family Life: At the tender age of 8, Noctis had a near death experience caused by a Marlith. It had put him in a coma for 6 months and when he woken up, he would soon find everything would change. Growing up as a prince, Noctis had a lot to be expected of him. After his recovery, Noctis was to finally take a step forward in preparing for his future. He had combat training, which was taught by Gladioius. At the beginning of their relationship it was a real struggle. Being the stubborn boy he was, Noct often gave up easily and always cut training short. This of course made Gladioius very angry at him. Overtime Noctis learned the importance of learning to defend himself, and while doing so learned to respect Gladioius. His royal adviser, Ignis, took care of pretty much everything else teaching wise. Etiquette, education, driving, as well as teaching him everything he needs to know. He aids him whenever he can. Cooking and cleaning for him, it seems as though it's never too much as a chore. Ignis too overtime because a really close friend of Noctis. Besides his royal duties, Noctis was pretty spoiled as a child. Though he didn't get to spend as much time with his dad as he wanted, his father made sure he had everything he wanted to make him happy. Such as giving him a whole huge playroom to himself, spoiling him with sweets, gifts, all of it. Though Noctis did indeed feel guilty, he felt selfish for wanting time with his father. Sometimes he thought he really didn't care, but he understood that as a King he had a lot to take care of.

Education: Noctis had basic education. He went from Kindergarten all the way up to high school. He attempted college, but after only a few days he found it wasn’t for him so he dropped out, and his father didn’t punish him for it.

Regrets: His number one regret is that he wished he spent more time with his father. He wished he told him how he felt while he had the chance. It will forever haunt him that he never got to tell him how much he meant to him, but now he’s gone.

Secrets: When his sickness bothers him, sometimes he holds back the truth of how much it affects him.

Likes & Dislikes: Noctis enjoys alone time and sleeping. He loves to draw as well, do anything regarding with nature and helping out with the community. He LOVES fishing and he also secretly loves make up and doing his nails. He doesn’t do it often, but sometimes to express himself he will, or if he is cosplaying. Also, regarding make up, he only wears simple cover up usual. Noctis is REAL big on making sure his skin is healthy and perfect. Eyeliner is also a must. With his condition getting the best of him usually, he spends a lot of his time sleeping, another habit of his. He hates veggies and bugs.

Dreams/Ambitions: Noct’s dream consist of traveling the world, seeing everything you can imagine possible and recording in through his paintings. His biggest dream though, is to be of use, useful to the world.

Fears: He fears losing any of his loved ones, but most of all he fears ended up alone.

Relationships

Parents: His father was the biggest influence in his life. He took everything he taught him to heart. No one could ever take his fathers place. Even though he is gone, he know he his with him, always.

Current Partner: Depending on thread.

Friends: He has come to know many people in his life, but only a few have made an impact on him. Luna, Gladio, Ignis and Prompto. Gladio and Ignis have been with him ever since he was really young. Gladio is like a younger brother to him, and though they have their disagreements/fights, in the end he holds him very dear. He owes him for everything he taught him about combat. Ignis was his royal adviser and grew to be very close with him. It seemed no matter what he was at his beck and call and he knew he could trust him forever. He has know Prompto since high school and they have been close since they. They do everything together and even though he gets him in trouble a lot of the time, he loves him dearly. Luna is a dear, dear friend to him. Even though they were separated, he keeps in contact with her via a notebook. As their bonds grow stronger, he awaits the day they can meet again.

Enemies: The whole Niflheim army, especially Ardyn.

Supernatural/Fantasy

Weapon of Choice: He can weild pretty much any weapon, but he uses swords mainly. Ranging from royal arms to his main weapon the Sword of the Father.

Physical/Magical Strengths: Thought he is not really that strong, the magic power he posses allows him to overcome great obstacles like fighting summons or Gods. He also has the ability to use black and white magic.

(Unique) Powers: I Ever since his near death experience, he had been blessed/cursed with special powers. First off his ability to see the light of the dead. Second is his ability to warp and summon up weapons to his leisure.

Physical/Magical Weaknesses: The more power he uses, or more force he puts on himself when using his power,  the quicker his body runs out of energy. With his condition it also may cause him to faint, grow tired more easily and bleed out.

Build: Very slim, slightly toned.

Eye Colour: Piercing blue, sometimes they glow red.

Distinguishing features: He has a black marking on his arm from his accident, because he was infected with the scourge. He wears a glove on that side.

HAIR : It has never been consistent. Like... in DuckTales and the related comics, it's orange. In some of the old comics, it's light brown. In the Italian comics, it's bright blonde. I just... I have no idea, my dudes. Gyro's addicted to hair dye or something.

NOSE : He's a bird. He has a beak.

FACE : Uh... round? Covered in feathers?

LIPS : Again, he is a bird.

SCARS : He's got a good few nicks on his hands, and probably a couple of other random scars from miscellaneous lab accidents, but nothing major. Plus, it's not as if you could see most of them anyway.

BUILD : It varies. In some comics he's kind of plump, and in others, he's like a scarecrow. I'm gonna tentatively put him at athletic, with a little bit of a paunch?

HISTORICAL  CONNECTION ? : His great-grandfather assisted a gentleman thief in the 1920s. Long standing family ties to Scrooge McDuck. Gyro himself is a knight of the kingdom of Quackalot thanks to time travel shenanigans.

Q1 : If  you  could  write  your  character  your  way  in  their  own  movie ,   what  would  it  be  called ,  what  style  would  it  be  filmed  in ,  and  what  would  it  be  about ?

A1 : I have no idea. It would probably be a campy, 80's style sci-fi though, like Honey I Shrunk The Kids or Weird Science.

Q2 : What  would  their  soundtrack / score  sound  like ?          

A2 : Lighthearted, but with a sense of wonder. It would make occasional use of odd instruments.

Q3 : Why  did  you  start  writing  this  character ?          

A3 : I had just rediscovered DuckTales and Tumblr RP blogs were starting to become this big thing that everyone did so I just sort of jumped on the bandwagon.

Q4 : What  first  attracted  you  to  this  character ?          

A4 : I've always loved nerdy, quirky characters. Being a ginger doesn't hurt either.

Q5 : Describe  the  biggest  thing  you  dislike  about  your  muse.          

A5 : He is usually portrayed as having human-like feet, which makes no gotdang sense. The ducks have duck feet. Cats and dogs have paws. Other chickens have chicken feet. BUT LET'S MAKE GYRO A WEIRD MUTANT, MWAHAHAHAHAHA! ...How about no? I'm just... completely disregarding that as canon unless there's an explanation for it. I'll even take a one off, throwaway comment. Otherwise, y'all can fight me.

Q6 : What  do  you  have  in  common  with  your  muse ?          

A6 :  A tendency to get way too invested in a project and forget to do things like sleeping or eating a reasonable meal.

Q7 : How  does  your  muse  feel  about  you ?          

A7 : He doesn't know I'm there, and I intend to keep it that way for now.

Q8 : What  characters  does  your  muse  have  interesting  interactions  with ?        

A8 : He has had some truly memorable relationships and interactions with other muses throughout my time playing him, and I don't think I could adequately cover all of them in just a little survey post.

Q9 : What  gives  you  inspiration  to  write  your  muse ?         

A9 : I've got a playlist of songs that remind me of him that I listen to sometimes. Other than that, I find inspiration for Gyro in some of the weirdest places, like my history textbook the other day, or a particularly scientifically inaccurate episode of Danger Mouse I watched the other day.

1. When did you first hear about Supergirl? Honestly idek I think I was watching Scorpion or something and I saw the ad.

2. Why did you start watching Supergirl? I started simply because I love superhero shows, so I figured adding another show to the list that was lighthearted and happy would be fun.

3. What’s your favorite season and why?

I just adore season two. I love Lena and Maggie, and then bringing in M’gann was just so perfect. I do love a lot of things about season one, like Cat and Lucy, but Alex’s storyline tips the favor to the sophmore season.

4. What’s the thing you like most about the show? I love the strong sister relationship between Alex and Kara. They have bad points and fights every blue moon or so, but they  work through their problems and come out stronger because of them. They always back each other up and are the rock the other can anchor themselves to in a storm.

5. Which aspect of the show should they improve?

They really should give more screen time to Jimmy and J’onn. They used to have such pivotal roles in season one but they’ve been downgraded practically to  minor side-characters.

6. Who’s your favorite character and why?

Lena. I just really want her to be happy, and the fact that she’s trying so hard to be good when the entire world expects her to turn out like Lex, and then when she realizes that even her mom is against her trying to salvage herself and sabotages her plan?? Oh geeze my heart breaks for her every single episode.

7. Which character do you dislike the most and why?

I don’t really care at all for Snapper? idk he just bugs me.

8. Which character deserves more screen time?

wtf is Lucy Lane honestly I miss her

9. Favorite episode? 

I really love the Flash crossover from season one, because I love that Siobhan teams up with Livewire. Those two are amazing together. (also Barry and Kara together are just so pure and puppies and sunshine all combined into one sweet pile of adorableness. They’re another fav platonic relationship of mine)

10. Favorite platonic relationship?

J’onn and M’gann. I want to see more of them , especially now that he knows she’s a white Martian. The evolution of them being close to them being sudden enemies is interesting, and I’m really looking forward to them evolving into a more familial relationship as they begin to connect again over Mars.

11. Favorite romantic ship? 

Do you mean canon or nah? Because I love Supercorp, but if you mean what’s actually happened so far then Jimmy and Kara owns my heart.

12. Did the show have any special impact on you?

I guess not really? Like i love the show so much, but there’s not much that actually directly correlates to me enough to impact me? The closest that it would come would be the Maggie/Alex storyline. 

13. Favorite quote?

ffs idk. It proabably comes from the scene when Alex comes out to KAra, but I don’t remember the exact wording.

14. What would you change about the show if you had the direct ability to do so?

Make mon-el an eight year old (or shamelessly make Winn/Mon-el canon)
