I guess a key point about community building is that creating and maintaining close trusting relationships with a large number of people is difficult and time consuming, and often times incredibly exhausting. We should not act like it isn't, it is a disservice to those who want to build community to pretend otherwise.

But! If you do that work and you spend that time eventually when you have a bad day someone will leave tupperwares of homemade soup at your door. Eventually you get to a point where if you have to work late someone else will go pick up your kid from school no questions asked and make sure they get dinner. Eventually you don't have to worry about being left alone after a surgery because people will work out their schedules to make sure you're cared for.

The flip side of this of course is that sometimes you are the one leaving tupperwares of soup at someone's door. Sometimes you will be the one picking up someone's kid from school. Sometimes you will have to take a few hours out of your day to care for someone after a surgery. Like I said, community is time consuming and it is work.

But oh my god that work is so worth it.

LIKE WHATTTT 👀 go read it RN. masterpiece

high tide came and brought you in (and i could go on and on) by silverluminoqity (T, 1/1, 8k) - MOTEL FIC MOTEL FIC MOTEL FIC 🥳 or, mike and will have yet another heart to heart, and some things are revealed. this fic is just so completely heartfelt and UGH i was MELTING the ENTIRE TIME, holy SHIT. probably in my top 3 motel fics EVER tbh.

Chasing Heartlines by @cherryisgone (T, 1/2, 6k+) - i was so excited to read the first chapter of the sequel to maybe one of the best byler fantasy aus ever!! knight mike pining after prince will is something that can actually be so personal to me. i love a good mike-won't-shut-up-about-will fic. the attention to detail in this fic is actually INSANE.

Y'know I was gonna say this tomorrow for the one year anniversary but I think I'm gonna say it today.

The QSMP was the very first community I've actually been apart of. Even if it was small, it still meant a lot to me. To find different CC's I've never would've found. To finding a community/fandom that makes great fanart, headcannons, ideas, fanfics, and so much more. Y'all are talented and passionate as fuck, never forget that.

This is more a thank you to the community, the CC's, and the admins for making qsmp worth watching. I've been watching qsmp since the beginning (Philza Main here) and I haven't stopped since. And I don't want to stop but if I have to or if/when qsmp does end, I won't forget any of this.

I remember during the earlier days of having this fixation I would search and look through any online forums relating to tickling/ticklishness or talking about the quirks or struggles of being ticklish/having certain tickle spots, whether people's comments were negative, positive, funny, wholesome or neutral. I also remember one particular thread I found about belly tickling, and one person added this story-

"I have a friend who is a monster about exercising. She does like a million crunches and for the decade plus that I have know her her belly has been rock hard...for that same time period I have proven time and time again that she is still ticklish no matter how much she works out! My favorite time I had her in her chair on her mother's porch...I was using the "claw" on the stomach and she was a giggling wreck! LOL! She went to silent laughter and I had to let up before she wet herself! I don't see her as much as I used to, but I still get a kick out of it!"

Hellow 💕 Hope you are doing well. I am so happy that the sunny days are back ☀️

I need to drop this period tip, hack ! Because I am so done seing girls struggle with those freaking blood stains ughh. And trying to use any products that never work. No more stress of getting stains, because they will go away every single time with this ingredient.

So you just need one magical Ingredient. And that is....

💫🌸Baking Soda🌸💫!!!

Yeah... but trust me. Once I discovered this, my life literally changed. Literally

Okay ! One thing ! Not the cooking one by the way, but the one you find for hygiene, households,... (you can easely find it in a drugstore or even just in a pharmacy). Just make sure it's also for food supplies. We never know. For those that have a sensitive skin, ...

So the steps :3 (It is really easy, but you just have to do some things right) ->

• Start by rinsing the fabric with some cold (it has to be cold, not cool, cold, otherwise it will cook the blood. And it won't ever go away. At least not as easy) water, just to remove some blood that goes away easely (this is for more fresh stains).

• Then you gonna take some of the baking powder and wet it just a bit, to get a little paste. And you rub it on the stain (This will take most of the blood away. If it's fresh, it should go away completely. If it dried then you have to do the last step).

• Take a basin and fill it with the coldest water you can get (not ice water, tap water will do). Add baking powder and dissolve it in it. Plunge your whatever stained in, and let it's magic work. You should leave it at least 1 hour. Personally I always let it sit for 3 hours (in the shower or the bathtub)

• For the toughest stains do this :

- when it's in the baking powder-water filled basin, put some more powder on the stain (in the water). This will remove the stain even deeper from it's fabric :)
