Chapter 6

"You have to ask him Rory, you're the one concerned" Lena said. I groaned. Lena made a shooing motion with her hands. I got up and walked over to the lunch table where Chase and a few of his friends were sitting.

"Chase, can I talk to you for a second?" I asked. His face lit up.

"Of course you can! I always have time for my favorite tech kid!" He got up and followed me to the hallway.

"What's this for? You never wanna talk to me" Chase said.

"I had a question about our project" I said hoping he didn't catch on to my obvious concern.

"One that you had to ask me alone in a hallway?" He asked. I rolled my eyes.

"It's for your benefit, not mine" I started. "I wanted to know if you were really okay with doing the scene. We can change the characters story if you need us to, but we have to turn our idea in soon. So we need an answer"

"I gave you an answer Rory, I said I was fine with it" he replied.

"I know, you just seemed really uncomfortable with the idea and I...we wanted to make sure you were actually okay with it" He looked nervous for a moment and then quickly covered it up with a sappy smile.

"Aww, you were worried about me. I'm touched!" He fawned. I rolled my eyes again.

"Yeah yeah drama queen, are you cool with it or not?" I asked. He looked deciding for a second.

"Yes Rory, I'm cool with it" he said. I offered him an awkward thumbs up and began walking back to my table.

"Rory?" He called. I turned around.

"Thank you for asking again" he said seeming very genuine. I smiled.

"No problem" The bell rang then and I walked to the table to pick up my stuff.

"He was cool with it" I said as we walked to out tech class.

"I told you he would be, sometimes you read too much into things" Lena replied. We took our seats as Mr. Bailey began the class.

"Today I'd like to hear some of your ideas, I'd also like you to begin a script for your actors. They are doing us a favor by helping us with this project, I ask that you make things as easy on them as possible" he said.

As usual, Mr. Bailey was thrilled with our idea. He always loved my ideas and Lena was one of his favorite students.

"Tomorrow I'd like you two to meet with Chase and work out his space within your set, you should be great if you stay on the path your on" said Mr. Bailey.

Another meeting with Chase, I was not excited.

I love how mqf's oficial description is something like: a good heart who wants to help others but then you read the novel and his reaction to lqg trapping ten infected men who are crying in panic is "great now I can start to work in my experiments with decomposed people to find a cure" and gets out a lot of needles, which makes the man cry even harder.

Even if we only get bits of the other Cang Qiong sect leader's we can reach the conclusion that no one there is normal, sqq is just biased.

I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.

and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like

this is NOT a negative in the slightest, I love it all, this truly was an incredible update in so many ways

It would be nice to hear from Wanda and Cosmo! It is kind of nice that you guys have two children like your own family does. Are you two still close to your siblings? Wanda has a sibling and Cosmo also have a sibling just like Timmy and Peri. Do they share some sibling stories to your children?

Wanda and Cosmo both reconnected with their siblings shortly after having Peri. Or, well. More like Blonda reentered their lives once she realized she had a baby nephew. Eventually, they slowly patched things up the more Blonda came to visit Peri.

Schnozmo was dragged back kicking and screaming. Mama Cosma refuses to have her sons live estranged lives now that she has a grandchild in the picture. Schnozmo doesn't know how to handle children, but he's doing his best.

Peri likes Schnozmo because he makes silly noises and funny stories. But he prefers Blonda's theatrics much more and loves playing Dress Up with her.

Chapter 5

"Kyle, I can't do it. He's gonna know I like him" I heard Chase say.

"He won't know man, he's completely oblivious, I promise" Kyle said back.

"He can't know I'm gay dude" Chase said. I immediately stopped listening and felt awful. I was not supposed to hear that. So that's why he looked nervous. He doesn't want anyone to know. And apparently, there's a specific boy who can't know. I had no idea him and Kyle were that close. I walked away quickly.

"Hey Lena, do you think we should maybe switch our scene around? Change some things?" I asked.

"Like what?" Lena asked skeptically.

"I was thinking, maybe the character isn't gay. Maybe he like couldn't handle his alcohol or something" I tried.

"Rory, what the gumdrops are you taking about? You're always all for queer representation in plays" She said.

"Well yeah, I was just thinking that Chase seemed uncomfortable with it" I tried again. Lena looked at me skeptically.

"Since when do you care how Chase feels?" She asked. I felt a little trapped.

"I know it sounds silly, but he looked a little too nervous. What if he was actually queer or something? That might be a sensitive topic for him" I hoped this would convince her.

"Rory, I'm sure if he was he would've said he was uncomfortable with it. He told us it was fine. If he wants to change it, we will, but for now we're too close to the deadline to change our idea" Lena reasoned. I guess that made sense. We had to turn in our idea soon and Chase did say he was fine with it.

"Can we just ask him one more time? Just to make sure" I asked. Lena sighed.

"We can ask him"

Me: The sexiest thing is when two people spend weeks staring at each other in longing and then their hands brush against each other, and then they hug, but like with their whole bodies and one person puts their hand on the back of the other's head and it feels like they will never stop hugging because they've wanted it so bad, and then they kiss ONCE (1 time) but it feels earned.
