Yoimiya and Nilou are supposed to be the reasons WHY you want to save the nation. Yoimiya is there to show you the passion she has for her culture and heritage, her fucking sheer adoration for the nation she's lived her entire life in and that she WANTS it to get better because she's just as deserving of a good life as any other fucking Inazuman, AND BY ALL FUCKING MEANS IT'S NOT LIKE SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING THE ENTIRE QUEST. NOT ONLY IS SHE SUPPOSED TO SHOW YOU WHY INAZUMA IS LOVED, WHY INAZUMA IS A NATION WORTH SAVING, BUT SHE LITERALLY COMMITS SO MANY CRIMES FOR THE SAKE OF THE RESISTENCE. ARE WE FORGETTING WHEN SHE SMUGGLED PEOPLE OUT OF THE NATION, DESPITE THE SAKOKU DECREE? ARE WE FORGETTING WHEN SHE LET WANTED FUGITIVES HIDE IN HER HOME AND STORE?? Every day of her life until Azar is taken away, she's constantly discriminated against for following Kusanali, she's degraded and insulted in several main quests for her passion for dance, and her entire fucking livelyhood is threatened to be demolished CONSTANTLY, and she KEEPS FIGHTING because you NEED to see the good in this nation, and there NEEDS to be that good in the nation. What is Truth Amongst the Pages of Purma without Nilou??? Without her theater?? It's empty. In Miko's own fucking words, "A nation like that isn't one worth eternity." She puts EVERYTHING on the line for the quests. Had Alhaitham's plan fucking failed, she GENUINELY would've gone to jail for dancing in a public area. It's fucking banned. She was KEY to the plan going right, and she is the reason Sumeru was WORTH fighting for, why NAHIDA was worth fighting for.
