I do not currently use X/Twitter, but I have some friends who occasionally lurk there, and one sent me this a few days ago.

I was never personally attracted to Lola’s Space Jam design, but I don’t think someone is necessarily weird or messed up for finding her hot in that movie. I haven’t rewatched it since 1995 (and didn’t even care for it then), but I’m aware that Lola has a curvy body, boobs, and a butt, along with no real personality beyond acting seductive and objectifying herself. Occasionally, she throws in a “I'm tough and competent, an' I don’t need no man” line, which feels like a half-hearted attempt to deflect feminist criticism. As much as you can criticize Lola in Space Jam for being nothing more than a male sex fantasy, and as much as you can criticize male sexuality in general for being very superficial, if you’re attracted to Lola in Space Jam, you’re essentially attracted to tits and ass like a normal, healthy adult.

But what exactly is "fucking sexy" about Lola Bunny in Wabbit or New Looney Tunes? She’s completely flat-chested, with noodle arms and legs, no butt, and the proportions, high-pitched voice, and personality of a prepubescent girl. What specifically about her are you attracted to here? And if all these designs are “equally hot” to you—when they have absolutely nothing in common in terms of design, voice, or personality, and only the Space Jam version has anything remotely resembling an adult woman’s body—what specifically are you getting out of this?

And when you’re also posting Bugs Bunny ass pictures—"ironically" a couple of years ago, but now because you openly want to fuck him—what exactly does Bugs himself have in common with these Lolas that makes him so enticing? You can't even say it's that Lola's a girl bunny if you also thirst for Bugs. When you also consider that all these thirst posts are sandwiched between posts cooing over actual photographs of real bunnies stretching or whatever, while you're cooing about how "cute" they are . . . well . . . you can do the math on that one.

All I can say is this: as much as I still love the content and media itself, I am so glad I’m no longer involved in online cartoon fandom. If you get cancelled in these spaces, the people doing it unwittingly did you a favor. No matter how it starts out, it inevitably becomes all about fucking characters that resemble animals and/or children—and if it only stops there, you’re one of the lucky ones.

How did Bugs meet you? :>

There’s multiple versions to this actually! >:D

If you go by the cartoon universe, the “episode” that they first meet is basically about my sona (Bella) who lives out in the woods and is trying to paint a picture during rabbit season. So she’s pretty much constantly getting disrupted by hunters and dodging bullets while Bugs is getting chased down by Elmer. Bugs soon gets distracted by Bella’s painting, stopping to admire it before Elmer shows up and accidentally blasts a hole through the canvas. Fed up and enraged, Bella snatches up Bugs and refuses to let Elmer have him. Bugs thinks Bella is trying to keep him for herself to eat, not realizing she’s just doing this to spite Elmer, so the whole time Bugs keeps pretending to be in distress and keeps going back and forth messing with the two while flustering Bella a few times and trying to escape her. Eventually he goes too far and upsets Bella, making her cry before feeling guilty and decides to join forces with her to get back at Elmer.

Now for the “Toon Actor” version, Bella is a new toon that was creative because of criticism at the studio for not having enough girl toons. So Bella is new to everything and is TERRIFIED of being recorded and has HORRIBLE stage fright. Which of course makes it frustrating for everyone on set and for the company because of this. Since he was her costar for an upcoming cartoon, Bugs offered to help Bella out with her shyness and with acting.

There’s other AUs for how they meet, but these two are the main ones.
