To the SPN fans that are hating on good omens rn bc of the leak, I hope you choke. I've seen some really nasty shit today from some of my (now unfollowed) followers whom I followed for spn content. So let's make one thing clear from actual posts ive seen today:

-Saying that the "wrong angels kissed", is...homophobic. I was with destiel from beginning to end and yeah we were completely shafted, but it's not okay to then say that other gay couples in media aren't allowed to kiss just because they aren't the ones you thought were hot. Jesus christ didn't think I needed to write that one down for ya-bo burnham

-I saw so much fatphobia about how Castiel deserved a kiss more than Aziraphel bc "he has far more sex appeal." Wtf wtf wtf. How do you live with yourselves saying that shit?You can pry Micheal Sheens body type Aziraphel out of my cold dead hands, you CW brainwashed morons!

-hate against the author for some reason, no one is willing to give specifics about it, but I think the majority of them maintain that GO is not good rep because they didn't kiss and now they are claiming pandering or something? Honestly that guy has only ever stood with the writers guild and queer people his whole career from what I find so I don't think it's fair whatever hate they are spouting. He isnt even saying he is upset with fans that saw or shared the video. Hes being super nice about it!

-I will say, non of us SPN fans have a fucking leg to stand on when it comes to hating something bc of the authors, OK. I saw someone saying the writing for spn was better and I can say you did not watch the show. I loved spn but don't do the late Terry Pratchett like this. He did nothing wrong

-on that same ish strain, as an ace person who thrives off queerplatonic relationships in media, maybe they kiss, I dunno. I just have to wait until the season comes out. Not 1 SPN fan gets to bitch about GO asexualty rep when SPN never even tried that route with any of its characters. But also ace characters are allowed to kiss, so you can write them that way of you want and interpret them that way if you want still. This is your viewing experience.

-this leak is truly not the same as the SPN yo a ti leak, solely bc the episode hasn't aired yet. "None of you GO fans would have survived the yo a ti leak." No I think you wouldn't bc the spn leak was clinging to an already mangled straw, while the angel's in GO are queer already. Queer queer queer and no amount of kissing or lack thereof is going to change that. We have no idea what happens in that episode of GO, but we saw the creators butcher the only moment in the show that could have meant anything real for queer viewers in SPN.

-"SPN crowly was kissing dudes first so this one is not that impressive". I see two cakes. One was made with the intent to make gay people look evil, but over time got kinda funny and a little better bc gay people liked it, and the other was about telling an interesting story about how love is so important, especially at the end of the world, and gay people liked that one too! So for me it's YaY two cakes!

-again the anti aziraphel is so plainly just fatphobia. You have no excuses. Sorry you don't think someone who looks like a slightly chubby micheal sheen could ever get kissed by someone who looks like David tennant, but you are not only wrong, you are also childish.

Stu sad watching horror movies and pining is great, definitely canon lmao. - yesss I have certain ones in mind I can see him doing this specifically to (Re-animator, My Bloody Valentine, The Prowler and Psycho were the ones that came to mind and I have specific reasons too lmao) I would love to know which ones you would imagine him watching in his sad boy mode too! Thos are all great picks! And Stu would love reanimator. I think Halloween 1 is a big one, like its so obvious and they've seen it so many times but I think it was formative for them and I also think Stu had a great big crush on Micheal and parallels Billy to him a lot in a very romanticized way. Like he sees him as this quiet, unstoppable force who also has these fun silly moments occasionally and idk, I think he knows every line in the movie but still feels so tender watching it cause its just Billy for him.

Black Christmas is another- aside from the fact that I love the movie I think its one Billy liked a lot as well, like this slow building pace, the shooting style, and then the fact that it revolves around phone calls and everything. Like when Sid runs up into Stu's attic during the chase scene its set up like a reference to the movie up there and I can't imagine thats not because Billy and Stu were playing Black Christmas at some point.

Deep Red is another, It just strikes me as a Billy favourite and I think he gets really animated talking about his favourites, so Stu would have som really fond memories of that.

LMAO giving the CDs is a great touch, like theres shards of CD flying and Stu's like " aww babe you didn't have to make confetti, thats so sweet"

Week 14: 

Michael is laying in bed with Alex, both of them just starting to wake up after a late night. Alex had performed at open mic night and then Maria had offered up a round of shots. One round of shots quickly became several and after an Uber home, they’d continued drinking over a very competitive game of strip poker, that Alex had lost spectacularly at. So when the puppies start barking incessantly from the other room, Michael can only groan. 

A moment later, the doorbell rings. 

“No,” he grumbles and Alex whines. Neither of them make a move to leave the bed when the doorbell rings again. 

Michael looks over at Alex expectantly, and Alex’s only response is to wave at his leg, helplessly. 

Michael snorts. “Interesting how you are so ready to pull the disability card when it comes to things like this, but when you’ve been on your feet for hours and I’m offering you a chair, it’s all, ‘I can do anything anyone else can do, twice. Three times on Saturday.” 

Alex continues to smile at him until Michael rolls his eyes and gets out of bed. The moment he vacates his spot, Bell jumps into bed and cuddles up next to Alex. 

“Traitor,” Michael tells her, with no real malice behind it. He’s glad to see that she’s getting more comfortable with them both every week that she’s here. 

He slips into last night's jeans, zipping them up but ignoring the button. Whoever is at the door can deal with it. He’s not planning on being in his clothes for long. 

“Bring me a coffee on your way back,” Alex tells him with the most adorable smile that he doesn’t even flip him off playfully like he normally would at such a request. Instead he kneels on the bed and leans over Bell to give him a kiss. 

The doorbell rings a third time and the puppies go crazy. 

“Alright, I hear you,” he says, standing back up and heading out the door. 

He rubs his eyes and he makes his way through the house. He peeks into the kitchen. The moment the puppies see him, they start jumping over each other, trying to hop the baby gate to get out, barking to get his attention. 

“Give me a minute,” he tells them as he reaches the door. 

The doorbell rings again and Michael curses as he opens it, annoyed to see Isobel on the other side. 

“You couldn’t just use your powers to unlock the door yourself?” he grumbles, confused at the grocery bags in her hand. He’s 100% sure he didn’t agree to her coming over today.

“Your neighbor’s watching and being super creepy. I got nervous,” she says. 

Michael looks over her shoulder and rolls his eyes when he realizes who she is talking about. 

“Asshole,” he explains before raising his hand with a fake smile. 

“Good morning, Mrs. Register!” Through his teeth, he adds, for Isobel’s enjoyment, “not a single one of her flowers are gonna bloom this year. She reported us to the HOA last week.” 

“Why?” Isobel asks, perfect mix of annoyed and confused. “Your guys house could be the cover of Better Homes and Gardens.”

Mrs. Register glares at him before heading back into her house, at which point he flips her off. 

“She claims our fence is too tall,” he says, stepping out of the way so she can come inside. 

“Was it?” she asks, heading for the kitchen. The dogs go crazy when they enter. Isobel greets them all, pulling treats out of her pocket for them. Determined as ever to buy their affections. 

“No,” he says offended. “You think I would install a fence that wasn’t the proper height? I told her I’d cut it down if she wanted to see all the queer sex we have in the backyard. She’s a homophobic bitch who’s pissed off that I moved in.”

“So you moved in!” she asks, squealing in delight so loudly that he rolls his eyes. 

“No,” he answers quickly to cover up his slip. He’s certainly been calling Alex’s place home for weeks now, but he doesn’t live here. Not yet. Not until Alex brings it up. It was his space first and Michael doesn’t want to intrude or push too hard or too fast. “You know what I mean,” he says, hoping she’ll drop it. 

Thankfully she does. She starts unpacking her bags and he leans against the counter to watch. Trying to figure out what it is that she thinks she’s doing. He’s well past the days where he needed Isobel to stock his fridge for him. 

“So you did your little weed-o-magic curse on her?” she asks. 

“Trust me, the woman deserves far worse, but it’s all Alex will let me do,” he complains, taking the eggs from her and putting them in the fridge. 

“Well luckily, my orgasms don’t depend on being in Alex’s good graces.” Michael makes a face. He doesn’t want to hear about his sister’s orgasms. “I’ll let the air out of her tires on the way out.” 

He smiles at that. After some of the hateful things the lady has said to Alex and him, it’s what she deserves. “You’re my favorite sibling,” he says. 

“I know.” She smiles at him, patting his cheek lovingly. 

He hears the creak of the bedroom door open down the hall and sighs. If Alex is up, his hopes of crawling back into bed are slowly fading. 

“Are you going to explain why you’re waking us up on a Sunday?” he asks as Alex appears at the baby gate, puppies yelping to get out. Alex opens the gate and moves to the back door to let the dogs outside. 

“Everyone else is gonna be here in an hour. I figured I’d help you get the house ready,” she says. 

“Ready for what exactly?” Alex asks, returning to the kitchen. He leans against the counter and Michael shuffles over so that he can lean against him. 

“We’re having family brunch here,” she says, like it’s no big deal. 

“What?” he asks, as if he misheard her. He heard her just fine, but he doesn’t accept. He did not agree to this. 

“Our Sunday family brunch,” she says, like that somehow constitutes an explanation. 

He looks over at Alex who mutters, “I better go find pants.” 

“Oh I don’t know Captain Manes, I think you look delicious,” she says batting her eyelashes in a way that Michael knows is teasing but he still steps in front of Alex to shield him from her view. 

“Stop flirting with my boyfriend and get your own,” Michael tells her. Alex’s hands find their way around his waist and Micheal leans into the touch. 

“You’re no fun,” she says, turning back to put the rest of the groceries away. 

“Iz, explain,” Michael tells her. 

“We’re having brunch.” She smiles at him without an ounce of remorse even though Michael knows that she knows exactly what she’s doing. 

Alex snorts. 

“Okay, now explain it like we are 5,” Michael says, fighting back an amused smile. He is not going to be happy about this, no matter how hilariously persistent she is. She’s a brat and he isn’t going to encourage her. She’s ruining his Sunday. 

“You said that, under no circumstances, were you leaving this house today,” she tells him, crossing her arms, daring him to challenge her on her interpretation of his words. 

He shakes his head as Alex whispers, “I told you to not to leave her a loophole to climb through.” 

Michael looks over his shoulder at Alex, who is fighting back a smile, clearly having already settled on amused instead of annoyed. 

“I hate you,” he says, rubbing his face in defeat. 

“I love you, too,” she says with a laugh. “Now button up your pants and go find a shirt that isn’t covered in last night’s sexual activities. 

“It happened one time,” Alex grumbles into his ear and Michael laughs. 

“You’re doing all of the cooking and the cleanup,” Michael tells her. 

Isobel shrugs. “Done.” 

“We’re going to go get ready,” Michael says, taking Alex’s hand and walking out of the kitchen. 

On the way out, Alex turns to her and says, “We aren’t making a habit of this.” 

Isobel raises her hand in a salute and says, “Whatever you say, Captain.” 

The challenge in both Alex and Isobel’s eyes has Michael groaning. Michael lets the puppies back in and then heads back to the bedroom with Alex. 

“You shouldn’t goad her,” Michael complains. “If you give her a challenge, she won’t back down. She doesn’t know how to lose.” 

“Babe, I’ve been to actual war. I think I can handle your sister,” he says. 

Michael shakes his head. No matter what Alex may have seen in Iraq, he’s never really had to combat Isobel in full on event planning mode. 

“I’ll be sure to say nice things at your funeral,” Michael jokes. 

Bell whimpers at them as they start pulling clothes out of the closet. 

“Sorry girl,” Michael tells her. “We won’t be spending the day with you.” 

Bell turns her head to look at Alex, expression hopeful, if that’s even possible for a dog. 

Alex shakes his head. Bell puts her head back on the pillow and shimmies until the blanket is covering all of her. 

“She’s got the right idea,” Michael says with a laugh, trading out his old jeans for a clean pair. 

“It’s not so bad.” Alex sits on the bed to get his prosthetic on. 

“Isobel’s brunches from hell aren’t so bad?” Michael says, eyes going wide in comedic shock. “Did Alex Manes just admit that he likes a party?” 

“It’s not a party, it’s a family brunch,” he argues. “It’s kind of nice. You know?” 

Michael does know. It’s the kind of thing neither of them had growing up. 

“I still get to be mad about the lack of morning sex though, right?” 

Alex laughs. “Always.”

What bugs me the most is that carina tries so hard to make Alex a bad guy in every situation. Him leaving for the air force. Tried making him the bad guy for leaving michael. But he had to protect himself from abuse. His trauma responses. He's not allowed to feel something or be confused to his trauma. But micheal can drink start fights flirt with whoever and get angry at Alex for his trauma. And the whole lost decade thing. That is the most stupid thing ever. That was mentioned one episode and blamed all on Alex. She threw that in there to say Alex is a bad guy and plays with Michael by saying he did it for the whole decade 😒. To me there's no lost decade because it's never mentioned again. And there's this small moment in 2x06 I don't think many people notice but it in the truck scene. When Alex and m*ria are play never have I ever and she said never have I ever cheated on someone and he puts a finger down. So wtf. Is that supposed to be us hating him now. Who was he with was it a guy because the whole season 2 is about him finally accepting being gay because he hadn't before supposedly. So then if he was with somebody before why do they write him like he's never been with anybody else. Why is he so potrayed as the villain and M*ria the goddess innocent savior to michael wth

You literally hit the nail on the head on everything. The lost decade, another thing we know nothing about for Malex. Did they go 10 years without speaking? Did Alex see Michael? We still have no idea and the 2x01 scene where Michael says “after all these years of this” means absolutely nothing. It’s just terrible, wishy-washy writing that can be either propped up later or erased by gaslighting again. I never bought the idea that Alex was in any way the problem or the issue in Malex like the writing was trying to sell in season 2. It didn’t hold up because there was no actual weight to it. It honestly just comes off as homophobic. It’s Alex’s fault that’s he’s still in the closet. It’s Alex’s fault that he’s not a woman like Maria. It’s Alex fault that he still loves Michael. It’s Alex’s fault that he is traumatized from the abuse his father did to him due to him being gay and he doesn’t know how to handle it. It’s Alex fault that he’s gay.

It just pushes the harmful homophobic narrative that I can’t even believe was written for this show because of how “woke” it’s suppose to be. Instead it treats the LGBTQ+ characters the absolute worst and passes it off as acceptable. It’s this narrative that I need to see RNM in season 3 fix and the only reason that I’m going to give season 3 a chance because I need closure to make sure it DOES get fixed.

Speaking of something, what we were talking about that lead to this was that he might like boys since Alec has repeatedly said he's had no interest in any of the girls in his school and some other stuff.

The problem is if the circuit board needs to be replaced, I don’t think we have one spare, Lonely Freddy has been discontinued for months so there would be no spare parts around here. I can’t just take it out without a replacement, he will not function correctly. Also getting circuit boards fixed or replaced feels weird, I mean I don’t mind it, Helpy hates it though and he refuses to let anyone screw open his head, even if he needs it. I'm pretty certain Alec will hate it, I would say it's like having brain surgery but you're awake and you can feel their hands messing around in there. That's just the worse case scenario.

Might like boys...? Now you mention it, I was not going to tell anyone else but I felt like he could be, that is he MIGHT be gay, Foxy said it's insane how easily I can pick gay people from random crowds, I just notice them easily for some reason, even if I don’t know much from them. I started to get the feeling after seeing the body language Alec has around Oscar, which is different from other people like Raj, Isaac, Millie, or Kelsey, also he seems to wait for him to come, like when he knows there's a day he's coming, he'll keep looking at the door constantly.

I was not going to mention it to Alec in case I scare him, I mean it should be his decision to talk about it, there's some bad people around that are extremely homophobic, we've fired staff for discrimination, considering Micheal and Jeremy are gay, and it's possible Alec has a homophobic family himself and doesn’t want to consider the possibility he could be gay out of fear. If he is gay, it should be his choice to tell people, it doesn’t change who he is as a person, it just means he likes boys, he's still Alec in the end.

“Yes,” Alex replied without a thought as he took a long pull from his bottle of beer before turning his eyes on the—oh, shit—gorgeous cowboy beside him. How he’d kept his eyes from wandering down his impressive jawline to the man’s mouth when he bit his lip, Alex couldn’t say, but he would also attribute it to his military training. Though if he were being honest, that had a helluva lot more to do with his father than he wanted to entertain at the moment.

“With your fist or your lips?”

The smile gracing the man’s own had Alex willing to admit he’d prefer the latter but not before he made the man work for it. He let his tongue flick out to chase the taste of hops on his lips then smirked a sultry reply. If he decided to go through with it—and let’s be honest, how could he not? The guy was a walking wet dream—he might as well play it up. “Haven’t decided.”

The man, with eyes like fire and corkscrew curls tempting Alex to run his fingers through them, moved in a little closer, enough for Alex to feel the heat of his body and the flames of his own desire he’d gotten so good at controlling burst out of control. Not how he expected his night to go, but he had a decent enough buzz working that he could blame it on the alcohol if things got too far out of hand.

He felt the cowboy’s breath caress his skin when he whispered, “I promise to make it worth your while.”

“Lips it is,” Alex replied, not expecting but absolute on board with the sudden press of lips against his, more tender and tentative than he’d expect from a rugged cowboy whose calloused fingers splayed over the sensitive skin of his neck, but Alex didn’t judge. He did however fist his hands into the man’s shirt and pull him close, so close, so impossibly close, so fucking deliciously close that his mind whited out and relegated everything but this sexy cowboy who’s name he didn’t even know into the ether.

And yes, okay, getting the shit kiss out of him in the straightest bar in town with the gayest name hadn’t ever crossed his mind as something he needed to put on his bucket list, but there it was. 

And he did not, he absolutely. Did. Not. Whine when the future Mr. Manes broke the spell and pulled away leaving him a panting mess as he tried to remember how to breathe again.

“The fuck, Michael? I thought you said you were done with all that fag shit,” some drunk chick hollered beside them. Alex blinked over at her and tried to let the homophobic slur slide off his back like he always did. It helped that the hands gripping his waist hadn’t wavered, strong and sure, and maybe a little possessive.

“No, I said I was done with dickheads like you, not with dick itself. I very much like dick and I will absolutely continue to get down with all this fag shit because of it, thanks.”

The dickhead threw her hands up and huffed. “You know what? It’s over.”

“I’ve been telling you that for a month. I’ve moved on, Monica, hence my super hot boyfriend here,” Michael said, arms tightening around Alex.

“Yeah, well I hope you’re happy with your little gay dick and your little gay wedding and your little gay babies.”

“Actually, we’re raising the children bisexual,” Michael corrected before turning his attention back to Alex. “Ain’t that right, darlin’?”

Alex tried not to laugh, he really did, but watching Monica’s head almost explode before she screamed and stormed out had forced it out of him. He bowed his head as he shook with laughter, his forehead coming to rest on Michael’s chest when he moved in closer. Alex hadn’t built up the courage to let go of his shirt yet, but Michael didn’t seem to mind, a hand still perched proudly on Alex’s hip. He liked the way it felt there, like a secret promise destined not to break.

“That could’ve gone better,” Micheal said before clearing his throat and leaning back.

 Alex straightened to look up at him. “I don’t see how.”

“I’m pretty sure she’s unbalanced.”

“Clearly.”

Michael sat down on his barstool and Alex finally untangled his fists from his fabric.

“Really didn’t mean to drag you into this, cute guy who’s name I don’t know.”

“I’m Alex.”

“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Alex. I’m Michael. And if I had known she’d go all homophobic on us, I wouldn’t have asked for your help, but thanks anyway.”

“Nah, it’s fine,” he said with a wave of his hand. The kiss more than made up for it.

“I seriously thought she’d just fuck off if she saw me with someone else.”

“Some people can’t let go.

Michael reached up to adjust the collar of Alex’s shirt, the brush of fingers against his skin felt like another promise. “Some people shouldn’t.”

Alex wanted to stop time and crawl inside that moment. He wanted to live there, locked forever in the way his heart seemed to speed up and slow down simultaneously as Michael looked at him, like Alex was something precious, something special, because no one had ever looked at him like that before, like he mattered.

And maybe for the first time, he believed that he did.

Maria cleared her throat behind the bar and both of their eyes snapped to her knowing smirk. Nope, Alex could not deal with her tonight. She'd ruined the moment, but he knew he couldn't have stayed in it anyway. Thankfully, she passed their drinks across to them and disappeared to the other end of the bar with a word. She always read him like a book. He’d make it up to her tomorrow.

A few shy glances took the place of witty banter, but after another shot of whiskey, Alex felt compelled to ask, “Do you always have such shitty taste in partners?” 

“With women? Unfortunately.”

“And with men?” Alex asked, his eyes meeting Michael’s under the dim lights as he hoped he didn’t come off too desperate for wanting to get to know this guy in spite of the drama he’d just witnessed.

“I sure hope not ‘cause you’re really hot. And it would probably destroy my faith in humanity if the crush on you I’ve been nursing from the corner booth over there the last few weeks came back to bite me in the ass.”

Alex blushed. As a general rule, boys didn’t crush on him. He longed from afar on unattainable men and maybe got lucky every once in a while thanks to grindr. But he felt brave, though he couldn’t decipher where to lay the blame: on Michael or the booze.

“I usually reserve ass biting for the second date.” That had Michael choking on a sip of whiskey, and Alex almost felt bad about it, but he pushed ahead and leaned in to whisper in Michael’s ear, luscious curls that smelled of rain tickling his nose as he pressed in close. “But you did promise to make it worth my while.”

And that dick loving cowboy did not disappoint.

More Than Just Buddie...

So I don’t venture out to the twitter world but from just reading posts here on tumblr I could see that there’s a lot of hate going on in there and buddie fans are being made to be the bad ones...

They say Buddie fans are making the show all about Buddie... Which might be true for some fans but I know majority of us Buddie fans are actually rational people and are capable of appreciating more than just the Buddie elements of the show... Like for example we love Poppa Bobby, we love BAMF!Athena, we love Christopher and appreciates what the show does for CP awareness... and a lot more than just Buddie...

We are Buddie fans, and like one half of our OTP, Sir Evan Buckley, we have big hearts, we are capable of loving more than just Buddie... Just because we enthusiastic about our love for Buddie doesn’t mean we are bad people. Sure I sometimes post mean things... I myself confess to the sins of lobbying hate for Abby and Shannon but I keep those on my OWN blog where they belong... I’m a buddie clown in my own blog and I won’t apologize for it... But that doesn’t mean I hate the show or the actors or the writers... I don’t think they are queerbaiting or being homophobes...

I don’t hate the show or the writers... I feel emphatic for the sufferings endured by these fictional characters and sue me but in the sanctity of my own tumblr blog I will rant and rave about that... And I won’t shy away from using words hate, fuck, loathe, or anything derogatory... I won’t mince my words in expressing how I feel... BUT I’m mature enough to know where the line is drawn... I’ll keep those to my blog, I don’t bother the cast with it...

Some fans won’t have that restraint. I personally don’t approve but I  acknowledge that it is something I cannot change... But what I can do, what we can do is be better...

Maybe just maybe we, calm and rational buddie fans can fight against the developing stigma and launch a love campaign... Fight the hate, fight the stigma...

We can be tweeting about loving buddie while also appreciating another element of the show... that way we did profess our love for buddie while also letting PTB know we are appreciate their efforts in making a good show for us...

TL;DR: I’m not saying people should stop campaigning for buddie to become canon I’m just saying we should also take a moment to let the cast and writers know that we appreciate them for more than just Buddie... For us Buddie fans to unite so casts and PTB don’t think we just a bunch of crazy clowns who would bring out the pitchforks if Buddie didn’t happen *whispers:* even if we so are, but hey what’s that saying, more worms with honey or something? ;)

9.) Cult

This season just...gave off a weird vibe? It is totally different from the other seasons and not in a good way in my opinion. Maybe it was the over played Trump election of that time. Idk. I just wasn’t vibing with it. (Gotta love lesbian representation! Sarah Paulson could’ve definitely done better than that lying traitor though tbh)(also first look at Billie Lourd in AHS was cool)

8.) Roanoke

The whole reality show thing was weird. It’s kinda scary. Like, those pig people were a weird type of scary, man. And that raining teeth scene left me a little freaked. Tbh, this season felt like a fever dream and I don’t remember much of it. It got rated higher than Cult because it freaked my mom out which is REALLY hard to do😂

7.) Hotel

(This got two gifs because I liked them both and couldnt decide) this one was ok. A little too much sexy times for my liking and there was not enough Sarah or Lily. First season without Jessica Lange😔 Lady Gaga had a wonderful performance in it though! And it showed Queenie so those are pluses!

6.) Apocalypse

Badass witches making a comeback?? Sign me up!! Misty? Saved. Queenie? Saved. Madison? Saved. Nan? Saved. In all seriousness, this was rated 6 because some parts were just boring. Like, I just wanna see my witch babies, not Micheal Langdons whole ass backstory. Plus, the whole satan worshiping thing??? Nahh fam. It’s rated this high because 1.) the witches are back!! 2.) MISTY IS ALIVE AND WELL!! 3.) Badass big dick energy Cordelia and 4.) Billie lourd running Langdons ass over and saving the world.

5.) 1984

I’m a slut for the 80s. Just, I love everything from the wonderful decade, so this season was a dream come true. It was thrilling at some points and there was some crazy plot twists. Lily Rabe’s performance was phenomenal. The only downside was there was absolutely NO Sarah Paulson!! That hurt my whole heart! At least we had Billie Lourd to make up for it!

4.) Freak Show

Let me just start out saying that Bette and Dot were just precious. Two Sarah Paulsons for the price of one?? Wonderful. This season was great! It was horrifying with Twisty the clown, and that thing on the back of the guys head, like?? Ew. I’m glad to see a bit of Peppers backstory, and like to imagine she thought Lana was either Bette or Dot separated. I was sad there was no Lily, but two Sarah’s make up for it.

3.) Murder House

Ah yes, the first season. What got me hooked in this roller coaster of a series. My mom didn’t think this season was scary, but I think it had its spooky moments (in, like, every episode). It’s a classic. You can’t go wrong with a haunted house in my opinion (at least this season couldn’t). I think it was a great kickstart to the series and that it couldn’t be started better any other way. My only complaint is the oversexualization of Tate. I mean, he shot up the school and was a complete psychopath! That is in no way hot or sexy. Maybe I’m to much of a lesbian to see the what all the hoopla is about.

2.) Coven

This season is completely wonderful!! The only reason it’s not 1 is because it is in no way scary. I love it with my whole heart!! Misty is the kind of swamp witch I wanna be!! I like the whole boarding school vibe. It’s like Hogwarts, but better since it’s all girls!! Plus it has STEVIE NICKS!! Amazing!! Plus I love my witch girlfriends!! (Foxxay might not be cannon, but it sure as hell is real)!

1.) Asylum

This is, hands down, the best season. It’s the most horrifying season, and has ample Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe content. The plot is great, and the actors portraying mental illness did a wonderful job. It also shows how homophobic the world was in the 60s. It had great dramatic buildup towards reveling the murderer. Also, Lily going from absolute pure innocent baby to satanic slutty demon nun is the best display of acting in the whole show. It also has the best scene in all tv history. Jessica Lange singing The Name Game. Nothing can get better than that.

Soo, that’s my opinion that literally nobody asked for. I like all the seasons. The show is just, wow, great. Most of these I haven’t seen in a while, so if it seems vague or sketchy that’s why. I’m gonna rewatch the whole series and maybe edit some stuff and reblog.

Listen to me, no, you were not aware Michael, this was not you. I know you'd never hurt meYou could never." Alex pleads with panicking Michael. So you know how the synopsis of S2 says Michael sort of spirals, how about drunk angry Michael losing control over his power and accidentally hurt Alex in the bunker and when he wakes up the next day with Alex sort of plastered protectively to his side with a big bruise to his side he's left horrified.

“So,” Dr. Julia looks at the pair sitting in front of her, “why don’t you tell me what brings you in?”

Neither of them want to be there, she can tell that much just from looking at them. It’s not unusual. Not among the men who come through her office and especially not among the rare same sex couple who seek her out. Michael Guerin and Alex Manes both sit on the couch, Michael perches like he’s about to run at the first opportunity and Alex stares her down like she is going to report anything he says. When people come in with bruises and defiance and a partner, she’s immediately concerned.

“I got drunk and hit him.”

Michael speaks bluntly and rubs the raw knuckles of his left hand. She notes the pink and torn skin, like he’s rubbed them with a nail cleaning brush. Alex looks at him, seemingly just as surprised that Michael has spoken first. Michael has sad eyes, red with the tell tale signs of crying and lack of sleep. He can’t look at Alex and she holds his gaze with her own as he continues.

“I lost my mom and my brother,” he continues, “it doesn’t make this better. I drank and last night I was really drunk and—“ he shudders, “I hit him.”

“He thought I was my father,” Alex follows up and Michael lowers his head, curling into himself, “my father was homophobic. Michael was confused.”

“That doesn’t make this better,” Michael snaps and looks at her, “tell him it doesn’t make this better. He doesn’t believe me.”

“She is not going to tell me that,” Alex says.

They both look at her, Alex still defiant and Michael has desperation painted all over his face. Alex doesn’t want to be here but thinks this can help. Michael doesn’t want to be here and thinks she can end this. And there’s more about Alex’s father that somehow plays a role. Abuse always makes her wary, it’s rare that a first time incident has the couple coming in for counseling. Michael looks desperate to get Alex away from him, the question is if he’s willing to be equally desperate to build a healthy relationship with him.

“I’m not going to take sides,” she tells them, “I’m here to facilitate this conversation,” she frowns as Michael gives a curt nod and gets up, “Michael please sit down.”

“I can’t just sit here and pretend like I didn’t hurt him!” Michael says.

“I’m not asking you to do that,” she says, “I’m asking you to sit with your partner and discuss what happened.”

She’s not expecting Michael to look so sick instantly. The color seems to drain out of his face as his eyes move everywhere in the room before settling on Alex. Alex has gone the opposite and his cheeks are flushed with red.

“You told her we were together?” He demands.

“We’re about to be!” Alex defends and then looks at her, “look, we are about to be together. Then this happened—“

“No, no,” Michael cuts in and comes back over, dropping into the chair, “I have been a drunk asshole for the past few months. He is supposed to be away from me. Hitting you undoes everything—“

“No it doesn’t!” Alex cuts in, “he’s grieving,” he says emphatically, “he’s not in his right mind.”

“That doesn’t matter!” Michael says, “So I’m just another person who hurts you? And that’s okay?” He shakes his head, “that’s not okay.”

Dr. Julia listens to the exchange quietly, discerning what she can. The two of them have slowly moved closer to each other on the couch, Michael is careful with his movements and Alex is respectful of his distance, but they shift and lean until they are closer than they were at the start. Instead of focusing on her they’ve started to focus on each other. It’s clear there’s a communication issue they keep running into, both desperate to get their point across and both unable to hear what they’re trying to say.

“I’d like to try something,” she says. They both snap towards her, “Alex why don’t you tell Michael how his behavior makes you feel? Michael I just want you to listen.”

“I’m scared for him,” Alex says. She nods towards Michael. Alex looks at him, “I’m scared for you. I’m scared you’re becoming everything you hate in the world. I’m scared that I did this to you. That it wasn’t just you thinking I was my father, that it’s me you hate,” Alex relaxes a tiny bit, like the weight is a little less. He lays his hand over Michael’s, “I’m scared we’re never going to be okay with each other. After everything—“ he hesitates, “I’m scared we’re just going to punish each other until we hate each other.”

Michael looks crestfallen. Dr. Julia imagines that Alex hasn’t ever actually said things in those words. Tears break free and he scrubs his cheeks with one hand, the other still under Alex’s. Alex twists back and grabs the box of tissues.

“Micheal, what do you want to tell Alex?” She asks.

“That I’m sorry,” Michael says, “I never wanted to hurt you. I wanted to see if you were gonna leave and—“ he wipes under his cheeks, “I didn’t want to hurt you.”

“I know,” Alex says.

“But I did,” Michael says. Instead of getting up he looks at her, “sorry doesn’t fix it.”

“No,” she agrees, “but committing to your relationship and working through this will be a good step,” she says, “striking your partner—“

“He didn’t strike me,” Alex says. They both look at him, “I just want to be clear. He didn’t clock me.”

“Any type of physical confrontation is not how you communicate,” she says, “not in anger. Michael we need to discuss your addiction and your grief,” she continues, “you need to get sober.”

“I know,” he says, “I don’t know where to start—“

“I’ll give you a referral,” she says, “we can find a place to start,” she looks at Alex, “I would like to discuss the possibility of you joining a group for domestic abuse survivors,” she tells him.

“No,” Alex says, “I’m not—“ he stops as Michael shifts his weight and looks at him, “I’m not!” He protests again.

“Michael, if Alex doesn’t feel comfortable that’s alright,” she says, “group support is not for everyone but it is something I would like you to give some thought to before you say no.”

Alex ducks his head in a slight nod. Michael looks desperate for him to go and get help. Only their still clasped hands and body language seems to communicate the fact that they want to be here. She wonders if either of them have been to actual therapy before or what their experience with it is. She lets them have their moment before clearing her throat lightly and drawing their attention back to her.

“Before we wrap this up, I’d like you to tell me why you said that you were partners and Michael, why did you react the way you did? Alex, let’s start with you.”

“I love him,” Alex says, “I’m not a saint in this relationship I’ve messed up too,” he says, “we went on our first date a few days ago. We joked about it but I was happy,” he says, emphasizing the word, “happy that were getting that chance to do things right. I’m not willing to just give up. But I want us to be partners in this.”

Dr. Julia looks at Michael who looks similar to how he did when she said that before. Pale and surprised. He looks young in a very sick way. She watches him tentatively settle his hand over Alex’s and twist towards him.

“I didn’t think you’d want to be with me after what I did,” he says, “I don’t know if you should—“ he shakes his head, “but I love you, you know? It’s always been you. I don’t want to give up on it either.”

“Where was the date?” She asks.

“At the Dennys,” Alex says.

“We gotta have a better first date,” Michael mutters, turning red.

“I like that being our first date,” Alex says, covering his hand with his own.

Dr. Julia gives them their referrals and sees them out, making her notes on the session and booking the next one. She’s sad when they cancel and surprised when they reschedule for a week later. She finds them in the waiting room. Michael looks horrible in that way someone whose been through detox recently looks. He’s curled into himself. Alex’s bruise is nearly gone. He’s got one hand around Michael’s shoulders, talking to him softly. They both look when she steps out and get to their feet. Their hands find each other.

“Come on back,” she says, “it’s nice to see you both again.”

Probably one of the funniest things that must have happened after the events of Be More Chill is the school reacting to Rich.

Like yeah, the popular kids are hanging out with known losers Jeremy and Micheal now as well as local theatre dork Christine, even if Jeremy is a little better than before, but they probably haven’t changed much otherwise. A mystery, sure, but not too weird.

But Rich (and by extension Jake) weren’t just popular but hardcore bullies. And not in the popular people gossip and mock sort of way, which is still bullying but not as stereotypical and obvious; they were physically shoving people around and probably stealing lunch money (though with Jake it seemed more teasing? Less malicious? Or mainly enabling Rich? idk)

Point is, Rich was a real shit. Rich slammed nerds into lockers. Rich made homophobic jokes. Rich burned down a fucking house and while we know about the entire Squip thing, the school doesn’t have that context.

So violent, mean gay jokes, arsonist Rich who is probably known as the local psychopath by the rest of the school, shows up after spending time in the hospital as not Rich the asshole, but Rich the bisexual icon who has a lisp and openly flirts with dudes and would definitely throw down for his new crush Micheal and buddy Jeremy. Like Rich would definitely punch someone for using a homophobic slur. First day back Micheal and Jeremy probably had to physically restrain him (bc you know Jake wouldn’t stop him, plus crutches) from beating up whoever shoved Micheal into a locker and if that image doesn’t make you laugh I don’t know what will. And if you went to that school that would just be such as wtf moment bc now Rich the asshole is being nice to the nerds and still making gay jokes, but like, playfully? And about himself? He’s friends with stoner Micheal and temporarily cool but back to geeky Jeremy? And he’s still weird and violent but also kinda nice and he’s defending ppl who used to be his victims and during English class he made several insightful points about Lord of the Flies and it would just be so trippy to go from asshole Squip Rich to proudly bi and kinda geeky Rich who still has a temper and could put you through a wall if he wanted

The World at Their Feet

The episode is very well crafted in telling the story of what we as viewers have only heard about from the characters. Events that have been alluded to such as Kyle's admitted homophobic behavior towards Alex are shown and it is heartbreaking to watch. These flashbacks also made me even more grateful that this is not a show set in the angsty years of high school because some of them were just not likable.

Having said that, it is interesting to see the broody Max we know now as an awkward 17-year-old with plans and dreams that were far beyond the deserts of New Mexico. The same goes for Michael, who up until now has been seen as a guy who couldn't be bothered to leave Roswell. We get to see Michael in a new light and experience a journey of his that has nothing to do with the alien life he hides. Finally, to Isobel, who is the center of this episode. The show peels back the bond these three share and it is very deep because it had to be given who they are. Whats more, we see Max, Isobel and Michael at two different ages during the flashbacks. In one flashback where our three aliens are played by younger actors, there is an event that is shocking and is a catalyst for how Isobel is going forward which also deeply affects Micheal and Max.

Sisters

The show finally gives us substantial backstory on the bond that Liz and Rosa had and it might break your heart to watch them knowing that in the present, Rosa is not there. We also see what has been talked about in regards to Rosa having a substance abuse problem, and how their mom plays a big role in that, even if we have yet to see her in the flesh. On the 'normal teenager' front, Liz and Kyle in the past are just not a good match but it makes you appreciate that Kyle has admitted that his behavior as a 17-year-old was not okay and he has grown as a person.

So what about Max and Liz? Well they do have their moments together this episode and it is bittersweet knowing where they currently are in their relationship or lack thereof. They share one sweet and perfect day together that could have led to something beautiful and epic. But we already know that it was derailed by events outside of their control. Can they get back to that place? Well..... it will be interesting to see where they go in the present after this episode.

(Personally I hate it when productions make Jason seem super violent and like shoving and yelling at Peter all the time. They're eager to show that side of him but shy away from the soft tender side). And what's one thing that productions do that you love/wish they would include more?

listen my thoughts are organized -2% of the time so if u wanna read this mess go for it but I’ve only seen the LA version, the 2004 version, and the musical and i recently listened to the 1999 demo so i decided to include that too also i may or may not have finished these??? idk i get sad over bare hella easy so i have to plan when i watch these because they screw me up for a solid couple days after 

LA 2013-literally everyone has seen this one but i love peter and jasons chemistry in this one?? also i just love the jason/nadia relationship in this one bc it is clear that nadia cares about him so much. essentially i love jason in this?? i also like father in this one because of the way he holds himself. it is clear that he is rigid to his faith and he fully believes every word of the bible. pilgrams hands in this is the best?? i love the way peter confidently is able to do that!!

2004- i love how the depict peter in this one. they show peter as this kid who wants to come out, but is unsure how the reaction will be? (i can’t articulate this as well as someone else could,, it was a post comparing la peter and micheal ardan as peter I’m so sorry i can’t remember who’s) but i ABSOLUTLY love all the confessional songs in this. cross and absolution??? HEARTBREAKING confession??? BEAUTIFUL and my final thought about this one is birthday bitch, low-key love the new lines even if it is way worse

BEAUTIFUL i love this so so so much because the last line is “so goodnight my love, yes you heard me right you were my love but ill have to let those words fall on your sleeping ears so i won’t see your honestly” and i UGLY SOBBED at that and he says “i should be the hero you want me to be” AND AHHHHH also bare???? UGLY SOBBING but real talk idk what’s going on??? like where they planning to come out??? “one stolen kiss and everyone will know” or is that referring to best kept secret??? “i really never thought it would end like this” AHHHHHHHHHHHHH also jason’s love confession followed by peter saying :i never thought you’d say it”??? BREAKING MY HEART no voice, i don’t love when they overlapped peter+matt’s parts but it is interesting how they go together. also the new verse with the whole bridge theme? AHHH SO GOOD  but if anyone is down to explain the plot of this demo to me i would be so down bc a sis is low-key confused

musical- yes i know i know its terrible but i do like some of  the new musical elements to it? for example, best friend? great,, pls don’t attack me for this but i like the are you and i and portrait of a girl? and i do like jason’s version of role of a lifetime and this point i will defend with my life. also peter is so adorable in this you cant change my mind on that one. in are you there “stupid stolen moments, this can’t all there is” IS SO AHHHHH also they changed the “one day he’ll wake up” to “one day SHE’LL” and damn. my absolute FAVORITE PART of this whole mess is in the middle of you and i when peter says that he has a bigger dick than jason i screamed the first time i saw it its fine lol also i didnt fully finish this whoopsie

things i hate/like about productions- i love it when peter+jason have these little moments in big groups (ex: in LA production in wonderland when jason offers clothes to matt and peter makes that little dont you dare!! thing) also lemme tell you, the you and i makes or breaks the production for me because i feel like if the you and i has no chemistry or pizzaz than that’s IT MAN game o v e r and also, i love it when they have confessionals on stage and when father is facing the audience and the children are facing him because this to me shows the disconnect between father and the kids. ok finally, i hear what you’re saying about jason being mean, but i actually kinda like it? but this is because i feel like it makes it more realistic? it shows what kind of emotional distress he was under and while that behavior is not okay in any sense, i feel like it would not have the same impact without it. and now the things i H A T E first one: nadia and jason not having a tight relationship/only moment is plain jane fatass. this relationship is SO important?? depict it well u cowards! also matt?? i dont love it when they DONT depict him as an uptight kinda guy. like this dude constantly has a stick up his ass and is NOT happy about it fam. we all know it
