I was feeling so fucking angry about the situation in Palestine earlier, but on my way home i stopped to talk to some people fundraising for Save the Children. They were women from Lebanon and Palestine, standing outside everyday facing hate from people walking by.

We talked about how ridiculous this situation is, how much it hurts to see and how cruel some people are. We also talked about how much bravery and compassion we've seen, how the solidarity between queer people, Indigenous people, and people from Palestine has been heartening, and how good it is to see so many people outraged by this decades long atrocity.

I walked away from our interaction feeling mobilized and energized, and I just want to say, don't underestimate the power of connection and action. Later, I'll stand with them at a rally, and none of us will feel so alone.

If you feel hopeless and helpless, go to a protest. Connect with organizers online and learn how to fundraise, spread information, and educate yourself and the people around you. Whatever you can do, do it. I promise you, it helps you as much as it helps other people.

The antidote for hopelessness is action.

Sooo, I couldn't find out if silicone packers were available in the 90s- side note you have no idea how hard it is to research the minutia of historical transmasc life like this, we really have been buried so long. Most of what I have been able to find is related to our involvement in protest and pushes for rights, so thats cool at least.

I somewhat suspect people were having to resort to the sock and hairgel/condom DIY packer methods, which sucks ass. So I'm going to be a little possibly ahistorical and say Billy lives close-ish to San Francisco and he got one of the silicone ones that just looks like a soft dick.

The chapter i'm working on is maybe like 3/4 of the way done now? It's a very eventful one, I think yall are going to enjoy it.

I'm going to answer your other questions based on the plans i have, so vague spoilers below.

Stu and Mickey are both unhinged silly men, there's a reason Billy gave Mickey a shot at all, so yeah Stu and Mickey are going to get along well. In a slightly complicated way though.

For Mickey's part he's obsessed with the Woodsboro massacre, we see that in scream 2, so Billy and Stu being the "final boys" makes them both very interesting to him.
