Wait... I lied (lying liar who lies) I have one more. Basically just wanna say that Alec is so-- Normal coded-- in the way that uh... That he's-- That-- He! Just appears so Normal on the outside but he can be so very going through it on the inside like that one phase in his life where he lost his self in which he doesn't even know who he is anymore and just stumbling through the dark anf then I just love revisiting thinkin bout that version of himself cuz of Stuff that happened to his past. I think it's Very Neat.

For the past few days, Jonas had been under a wholllle lot of pressure. He had to get an act together within the next week and it might be that he'd bitten off a little more than he could chew. He'd pulled back to back bartender shifts at the casino's lounge, been up night after night trying to work out ideas for a really good performance and finally something in him just needed NEEDED to do something and relax.

So tonight he'd gone down to the casino lounge and well...might have gotten a bit carried away with the drinks. In his very drunken state he was wandering back up to the penthouse, a nearly empty cosmopolitan in hand and happened bumped right into Annalise.

His brain felt pleasantly fizzy and relaxed and as he looked at...this was...who....who was this again? He knew her right? He tilted his head. Ohhh her name was...righhhht on the tip of his tongue. Said tongue by the way was pressed goofily over his upper lip as he thought.

Well whoever she was, she was cute as hell with her pretty blue hair.

" HiihIIIII, " he slurred out, blinking at Annalise. " Hiiii...cutie!! Lookit you! Y'r...hol' on...y'r..."

He tilted his head looking at her and the rest of him followed. His shoulder bumped against the wall. " Y'got...ohhh y'got. Blue...cotton candy hair! Are-are you asss....sweet as y'r hair looks, cutie? Eeheehee..." God everything was so funny all of a sudden. He felt so great...where had he been going again?

you know, at first my initial thought was "oh he probably snores and tosses and turns all the time"... until I realized he DOESN'T. in canon he seems to be a very sound sleeper. I guess that assumption just comes from the fact that he sleeps as much as he does! but he's very calm and peaceful. a certified cutie. lookit him, off in dreamland.

his body parts DO sleepwalk though. like, on their own. it's the plot of rayman 3. that's REALLY scary.

then again, I'd imagine being all cuddled up and tangled up with me while sleeping would probably ease that a bit. I believe it's implied in the ending of rayman 3 as well that the reason his hands do go off on their own is because he's having a bad dream, judging by his uneasy grunts and noises during his sleep.

either way, after we start dating, I don't imagine a single day would pass by without us falling asleep snuggled up together, regardless of his own sleeping habits 😆💖 and we'd be able to soothe eachother's nightmares. :)

Muffin: What does your f/o’s laugh sound like?

A WARM HUG. call me insane, but that's the way I've ALWAYS described his voice (mainly the one provided by david gasman) - it's like the vocal equivelant of being wrapped up in a tight bear hug. we haven't heard him laugh a LOT but some of his victory soundclips in rayman 3 are him laughing and cheering himself on and... UGH. I LOVE HIM. HE'S SO ADORABLE.

there's also this lil nervous chuckle (though I'm unsure if this was provided by david gasman), which is SO CUTE as well!!! I JUST WANNA KISS HIM!!!!

Not to sperg on your post, but glad you asked!

Now, it may be that the dev team of the game wanted a more classic vampire look for Dettlaff with the more catlike carnassials, BUT there are a whole group of bats called 'false' vampire bats!

Well, right until they open their mouth, that is.

There are false vampire bats found in both South America and in Africa, (though they aren't related) but they're called that because shortly after the true vampire bats like Desmodus rotundus were discovered, scientists went...a little nuts naming other species with large carnassials 'vampire' and assuming they were hematophagic as well. Fruit bats may have escaped the same fate because they were discovered well after this phase and these 'vampires' were observed to be actual carnivores, eating birds, mice, and, hilariously, other bats.

The spectral bat is a likely candidate for a Dettlaff model-the photo above is of one and the teeth are a good indicator, but more than that the behaviors are a good match-spectral bats are one of the very few monogamous species of bat, and while we have no idea where Dettlaff falls on the mono-polygamous scale, the devotion he has for Syanna is similar to the spectral, who will bring back prey to his mate, and wrap her and her pup in his wings, an attentive and devoted partner. They also form small family groups-or packs, just like wolves. Usually it's the breeding pair, their pups, and some juveniles from the last year's batch. Obviously he and Syanna can't have kids, but I suspect the bruxa's he keeps around fill the role of the juvies as the second-in-command.

(I also think the idea of him adopting a bunch of teen bruxa's like some youth mentorship program hilarious)

I sketched out how they might look based on different species in the above post, and I gotta say Regis is my favorite. Fluffy derpy boi based off the hairy-legged bat, and again we've no idea about where on the monogamy scale, but considering he was in a relationship with a succubi, we could make some assumptions he's at least a little polygamous like the irl hairy batty.

it's good that there's a second higher vampire in the Blood and Wine DLC bc otherwise i would have mistakenly assumed that feral!Regis's funny lil buckteeth were just a vampire thing

There was something on his back.

Or someone, he thought with a sleepy smile.  Someone that hadn’t been there when he’d dozed off.  Someone who had politely declined his invitation to join him on the rocks in favor of continuing to float in the water below.  Not that he’d entirely minded, as he had finally managed to convince her that no one would dare disturb the Forest’s guardian and his mate while they were alone and removing her clothes was perfectly safe (she had grown more comfortable in her nudity around their home, but that was private – the river was not).  He had certainly enjoyed the view as he’d drifted off, the sun warm on his back even as it warmed her perfect breasts and stomach.

Marinette wasn’t in the water now, though.  At some point during his nap she had climbed up onto the rocks to join him.  At some point, she had climbed onto him, and now instead of the bright, spring sun warming his back it was his mate.  His mate, who was wrapped around him like a spider, clinging tightly to him in her sleep.  Her cheek was pressed against the back of his shoulder, her breath warm on his neck and tickling the still-too=long hair he hadn’t quite gotten around to cutting yet.

“Love,” he murmured, shifting slightly to try and wake her.  When all that did was make her hold him tighter, he flipped his tail back to draw the tip along her back.  She shivered, but still pressed closer.  “Marinette…”

She mumbled something he couldn’t quite catch, and he chuckled as he tipped his head back to bump against hers.  This time she whined as she pressed her face into his back.

It wasn’t that he minded her where she was.  He never minded Marinette – especially a naked Marinette.  It’s just that he had been lying in the same position for quite a while now, and he would much rather be holding her where he could stretch his back instead of…being smooshed against the rock.  He slipped his tail between them, winding it around her middle and giving a gentle tug.  She grumbled again, her arms holding him even tighter.  Her knees pressed into his sides when he tugged a bit more insistently.

“Stoooop,”  she whined, bumping her forehead against his shoulder.  “Comfy.”

“My back’ssss asssleep,” he whined right back, tugging her a little more.  Beneath them, her hand pressed above his heart, her nails attempting to scratch at his skin.

“I’m asleep,” she grumbled.

“You’re talking too much for someone who’s ssssupposedly asleep,” he pointed out.  He froze when her teeth grazed against his shoulder, lightly nipping him.

“I’m sleeping,” she mumbled firmly, kissing above the spot.  He hissed softly, his tail tightening around her, and she giggled.  “No.  Bad snake.  Nap time.”

He ignored her and gave another tug, this time hard enough to lift her, and she squeaked as he dropped her onto the rocks and rolled on top of her.  Her eyes were wide and alert – much too alert for someone who had claimed to be sleeping – and her smile was wide.  He dipped his head to hers, promptly kissing that smile off her face.  His fangs grazed against her lower lip as he pulled away, and he smiled when he heard the flutter in her pulse.

“Do not ssstart ssssomething you do not intend to finishhh, little moussssse,” he hissed, grinning when she sucked in a breath.  Her arms were around his neck before he could say anything else, pulling him back to her.  He laughed into their kiss as her legs scrambled around his waist, her feet sliding against his scales as she tried to wrap herself around him again.  She whimpered when he rocked into her, pushing her back against the rocks.

“Lu…Luka,” she gasped, her head falling back as he kissed down her neck.  After another few mindless kisses, he nipped at her pulse before settling beside her, his tail curling to coil around her even as she held him tighter.  She whined when he laid his head on her chest.  “Luka!”

“You ssssaid it was nap time, love,” he said with a hissing laugh, pressing a kiss above her heart.  She tried to push him back, but he held her tighter – as if he never wanted to let her go.

…he didn’t.

“Awful, horrible, tease of a snake,” she huffed, reaching up to tug at his hair.  He glanced up at her, popping open an eye to find – despite her tone – she was smiling at him.  He nuzzled his head back against her breasts, and she sighed as she kissed the top of his head.  “My silly snake.”

“My little moussssse,” he murmured, already drifting off with the warm sun on his back and his warm mate in his arms.

tebecca along with jj are the best parts of the revival in my opinion.

i loved that scene because they like… communicated like real adults. i enjoyed the detail that when rebecca suggested moving in tara wasn’t just like omfg yes! it was nice that she was like i will think! i think little things like that set up how healthy and nice their relationship is.

When Tara balked in the elevator, Rebecca wasn't mad, she simply gave Tara space to think it over. Which is a sign of a really healthy relationship and I adore it

After rejecting my first idea because I realized it didn’t fit with the guidelines I’d set for myself, I was encouraged to go with my second idea, which was a collection of photos, someone’s memories of witch college.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave): I'll say either Netflix WFC (I do know folks don't like the show so :/ ) or Yellow Light Boob Megs from Dreamwave's The War Within (2003). He's a cutie and I liked his personality a lot.

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week):... I don't think any Megs would fit here, so instead I am gonna say tfp gladiator Megatronus, because EXODUS HAS MY HEART, YES, VICIOUS MAN, THIS IS YOUR FUCKING ARENA, MAKE IT KNOWN TO EVERYONE!!!

And don't get me wrong, I love the depictions of him hating every minute of having to fight like this, of ANY gladiator Megs hating what they have to do in order to survive. But seeing the ruthlessness and borderline delight in bloodshed that proves that he is the strongest and still functions despite all these challenges and basking in the aftermath of victory is also just *chefs kiss*

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave):... BayVerse Megs. Out of all I've seen so far he is the most pathetic, down on his luck and constantly beaten. I watched 3 movies so far and he needs to get a good, long nap under a proper blanket.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason): BW Megs aka rollerskating Barney. He brings shame to the name Megatron.

Hey guys! River here, once again reporting that I am NOT dead, and I DO plan on continuing the comic at some point! I will keep you updated when I have more helpful information sorted out. ^^; 

But in the MEANTIME, I thought I’d pop in and show off some of the cast of IANAA recreated in Azimooth’s Lords of Ponykeep game. I got selected as an alpha tester, and the character creator has by far been my favorite part. :D 

First, of course, we have Salespitch:

Testers get an alicorn cheatcode, so I was able to properly make my boy, I was so pleased. XD There are a LOT of mane style options, but since I could only do two tones, his colors got simplified to just blue-black and teal. Which, ironically, was how he was almost designed before I added in the extra stripes of darker teal! :D Sadly there was no briefcase cutie mark quarter rune (but, I mean, is anyone surprised by this? Not I), so I picked the coins because 1) selling = money, and 2) provides his gold accent! :D Lookit this cutiepie, he is raring for adventure!

Camera Shy was TRICKY; he has that really weird unique manestyle already, and his cutie mark is a camera which naturally isn’t a likely quarter rune to find in a game inspired by Ye Olden Days. I chose the gong because it kinda reminds me of a front-facing camera. He also got Concerned Eyes because, I mean. It’s Cam.

Pressing Matters came out super cute XD I’m pleased I was able to get a decent spread of spots! Couldn’t find an inkpot, but I chose the honey because the color matches and it’s a glass container. That dance pose so perfectly encapsulates her enthusiasm for printing.

Sadly the Ye Olden Days did not have sunglasses, so Pitch Black is missing his key accessory. He is still ready and willing to beat up on any fools who mess with his little brother, though. :D I’m actually not SURE what that cutie mark is, but it’s golden and circular and looks cool, so. Here we are. XD; And his expression is so perfect. 

And finally... it’s meee! :D Featuring the blep! Honestly, for having to cut my mane and hoof colors from 4 tones to 2, I really like the compromise I came up with. And the quill pen quarter rune was a PERFECT stand-in for my cutie mark; it even has a tiny touch of blue! :D I’ll be a little immodest and just say it, guys: my pone looks darn cute.

and its like so interesting bc he isnt completely 100% uwu mode hes still very formal like hes just so polite and fancy still and its so cute and i jst love when hes happy :)
